721  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please Help on: January 26, 2024, 02:45:53 PM
I very sure it's a scam! There is no way Blockchain will have to send you such message. That's a strategy I'm very much aware of, this scammers usually give you fake receipts of transaction successful and that it will not be delivered to your account untill you make a deposit of so amount that is usually almost have of the one they scammed from you already in order for your money to be delivered.

I will suggest you block such contact and stay away from those scammers, any person that promises you a too good to be true profit in the crypto space is a scammer because it's never possible to achieve such goals as they claim. One question you should as the scammers is "If you have this kind of opportunity why didn't you make use of it yourself?".

Anyways, there is a tendency that the scammer will deploy another strategy that you should try to recover the lost funds by using their fake apps and make a deposit that all the scammers will be tracked and you money wil be restored. Don't fall for them anymore be smart enough to say NO to them.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Older men vs Younger boys in gambling, Which enjoys Gambling for fun the more? on: January 26, 2024, 02:20:22 PM
Okay! from my perspective its the older men. Yeah for some reason which I will list below, I believe they gamble more for fun than the younger men:

[1] The older men from 60 years and above gamble more for because at that age this people tend to be fulfilled already. having achieve a level of status they may not longer be interested in making so much money as the younger men would do.

[2] At the age of 60 most old men will only be in search for what makes them happy in order to enjoy they're retirement and the remaining days of their lives. while the younger men will be in search for what will also make them happy too but most time what ever isn't bring or adding money to a young man's wallet isn't making him happy already.

[3] At the age of 60 the older men have less responsibility to carry so wouldn't have any more intention on anything else. but for younger men at the age of 45 and below always have this pressure in them that makes them go extra miles on everything, and most time the older are also included in the pressure of younger men. e.g when your dad is retire the children now has the responsibility to take good care of them so the younger men had much to do than the older men. since gambling offer both fun and funds the younger men will indulge in it for the both reason and older men will for just one reason which is fun.

I hope this three reason of mine will blend in with everyone's reason.

How much Did you like this forum

For sure everyone here loves the forum and we all have similar experiences and we'll enjoy it here except for my mates who would not be able to stand the criticism of people hence left the forum but for those of us who are able to with stand and have grown thicker skin we love the forum and has learnt alot if not everything we know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large.

One thing I have been afraid of is being known (KYC) etc that's why all my social medias don't have my real identity because I love anonymity (privacy) and this forum is the best social environment I have seen with anonymity. I don't know who is behind each user name, you too don't know me and that has brought the biggest freedom of speech, since I love freedom and I'm getting it here I love the forum.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Airdrop season begun? on: January 26, 2024, 01:45:40 PM
I can not long be deceived by the hype of this tokens, every description here about the ALT token is absolutely a good for nothing hype most of have hard bad experience from airdrops of this nature. its most likely a scam project with so much hype just to get attention abd after some good fixed price in the beginning, when investors buy it keeps depreciating in price till it falls to a 90% and never increase leaving all investors shattered with worthless tokens or should i say a number put together backed by some little but nonsense price.

If you think airdrop is back you can keep up with them, if only your aren't shilling for the project team but one thing I know for sure is in the crypto space ones a trend is over that particular strategy is over. Investor are always in search of new trends not the old ones so airdrops are past you should be looking at the new trends to catch some few dollars from it.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: USA Super Bowl winner on: January 25, 2024, 10:04:49 PM
So we are down to four teams. What one do you think will win.
I voted San Francisco 49ers because they're my favorites whether they win or not.

Ever since they beat the cowboys I kinda fall in love with the team. Shout out to them.. with the full strength in them now I don't think they will lose among the four left.
726  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The danger of gender inequality on: January 25, 2024, 07:12:12 PM
This discrimination is seen everywhere.  Women are looked down upon everywhere.  However, in the modernization of the era, its amount has decreased a lot. However, it has not disappeared at once.  Men are valued more in every institution, but the current women's society is not behind anything.  Women are excelling in every sector.  Almost women are now vertical.
From my perspective it's not discrimination although I'm not a support of discrimination but some times things aren't discrimination but a decision for the best.

The feminists who claims that women should be equal with men has brought so many problem to the society today, from the family level to every social level. even from the creation of man and woman according to the accounts of the bible, man was created first and then woman from his ribs. this is a sign that this to beings are never equal in any situation man is always higher than women but there are women who will emerge on the same level as men but it doesn't men we are equal.

Looking at the family level, women now work this same shift and equal time with men leading to children not been will taking care of living the children in the hands of their teachers. thereby leading to change in social behavior or children. infact there is more negative effect of feminism than positive effect.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kaspa actually Bitcoin 2.0? on: January 25, 2024, 05:52:02 PM
There is a hard fact that most of this shillers or altcoiners forget when trying to classify Bitcoin or compare Bitcoin with some coins that where created lately as Bitcoin 2.0 is that Bitcoin (BTC) is a paradigm shift that can't be compared with any forks because it's the original with high rate of privacy and safety. the only coin that has such privacy is Monero but yet can't still be compared to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin isn't compare or doesn't have a duplicate because it is performing one it's main purpose right now. kaspa is good but it's as good as speculated. it has its flaws because its dependant on one man decision and bitcoin that isn't regulated at all.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin not 0.1 or 1.0
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto scammers creating traps to break the system security on: January 25, 2024, 05:38:54 PM
Well even before you published this information I have read about it from the link provided by DaveF.
it's a bit troubling how hackers gets into the activities of most crypto users through vulnerable security systems that we use. even our windows defenders and malware dictators can't help it any more.

We all have to just stay safe and be conscious of whatever we do on the internet. it paramount to know and do your own research and not to click on any link that we see because most times they impersonate our reliable sources to get into our devices.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What memecoins are you holding atm? on: January 25, 2024, 05:27:08 PM
I'm not holding any meme coin right now because they are usually toiling with our emotions so I can't use the energy I'm supposed to use for other things and focus on memecoins although they are usually the very most get rich quick scheme tokens because I have heard lately that some one invest $11.7 in a memecoins and a year later he became a million. in as much interested in the story I wouldn't risk my time with it, maybe I can do that in future but not now.

The only way I will be holding any memecoins it if I'm sure it will do well this bull run but since I'm only gonna gamble with my money I wouldn't try such because of my current capacity.
730  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Kind of Topics to be Posted in Naija Local Forum on: January 25, 2024, 04:10:19 PM
It's very certain that the forum have it's standards of post which links have been thrown above by ..... so you have to read and understand this rules very well, as Agbe have said too he clearly pointed out areas that you most grow in other not to face the rude response of higher ranked members.

I will also want to put you funke to order, your style of post to be sincere is really provoking and I'm sure most people who attack you must have added you to there ignore list because after the first and second warming of your low quality post you did continue to make such post and as a result some couldn't bear it and when straight up to attack you.
Here is a list of your post that are all low quality regarding to what Agbe said previously that the core purpose of the forum ks for crypto ( Bitcoin majorly) relate discussion and from your perspective does this below aline with that purpose?

731  Economy / Reputation / Re: To Leo and all who support Privacy & the original purpose of Bitcoin. Thank you on: January 25, 2024, 03:28:49 PM
Sincerely, I'm really short of words after read through all that you have wrote about Mr. Leo, I have never come in contact with him before in this forum but he quoted me recently before his farewell post and the reason for his quote was to put me in the right direction of privacy.

I see his one of the major people whom are provoked by the control system of the few in power and a popular support of privacy in this forum. adding to his message to you shows he really cares about personality. I don't know him personally but I have been feeling some worm tears in my eyes anytime I read about him, and has made me realize the quote that says "we came with nothing and we go with nothing" after all his countless effort his gonna leave them behind for God knows where and I still don't want to believe everything is true I hope his still fights for his life this time and not privacy/freedom this time and pray he wins.

Moreso, I have prioritize maintaining good relationship with with people than push for some reputation that I will one day leave forever. I do know that one day I will die, this a fact that not even your parents will want to hear it from you and now imagine someone knowing his end date. like WTF, I do watch movies of such scenario and I cry alot now it's not long a movie but I hearing it for the first time in reality though I have met Leo.

All I can offer him and his family now is just some prayers because I'm a kid and I don't have any capacity for support other than this. and I will end this by saying we all should keep the love because it paramount, life is too short and thank God I have realized this as a kid.

Peace y'all from Churchill
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How fast can one achieve Crypto millionaire status with meme coin? on: January 24, 2024, 11:24:54 PM
The truth is no of us here knows which altcoin is gonna pump next.

To be sincere I'm still amazed on the $11+ that turn in to millions and I saw such thing before but it was not just in a year but I took some time before it skyrocketed and that coin was the CRO token, some bought with around $50 dollar and now his a billionaire.

Another truth is meme coins are very quick to rise and are so quick to fall too, and if you most know the investor that made such huge profit must have been losing in other meme coins before and this i guess was on lucky chance for him since all this seems to be a gamble.
733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Trezor users are receiving fake emails with phishing links. on: January 24, 2024, 11:17:10 PM
I believe this emails from scammers was prompted by the information of users that was compromised on the 17th of this month which is the hack of Trazor third party.

@Learn bitcoin was right on what he said below.
Even though they have regained access to their support center, the hacker still has a chance to use email spoofing and send emails to those Trezor users and try various hacking attempts like sending malware and asking them to download, or asking them to use new web portal which could be phishing and numerous more methods they may try. There are still a few percentage of people who might believe those emails and try those things.

Well it's good to let people know about this current situation, I'm not a trazor user but I'm always concern in knowing all this kind of event because in less than no time I will purchasing a hardware wallet and will not want to face this kind of risk using them.
734  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Gaurd yourself against crypto scam this year on: January 24, 2024, 04:28:13 PM
However you have tried to put things together in order to advise our Nigerians and I commend you at least for doing your best although most of us here have heard this over a million times in the forum. I believe by now with our exposure to scam and how aquatinted we have been with scam cases we aren't supposed to fall for ponzi scheme scams no more, the areas I would believe that some of us can fall victim of scams is only if the company that we deal with claims some false hack issues and hence fraud us indirectly by shorting down the project that's where Nigerians can get scammed most (those of us here in the forum). but for ponzi scheme I'm not sure it's possible except for the too greed people if not (naija na where scam strong na so we all don know there ways).
735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are newbies afraid to comment on threads of highly ranked members? on: January 24, 2024, 04:21:11 PM
It's normal to get criticism from high ranked members and that shouldn't discourage you from commenting anywhere you have knowledge on, it just one of the things newcomers face even in other organizations but one thing most of us resorted to us keeping quite till we are well acquainted with what is been discussed but if you know anything about it you can just drop yours as long as you ain't copying someone else it's very much welcomed.

Another thing you should know is this forum is an anonymous forum where we don't know who is behind every username so you could be very knowledgeable about certain things in your personality not the forum so your rank shouldn't limit you from speaking, tills just a title for someone who is just newly registered. it from you quality contributions that you can rank up.

Just keep up the good works and you will have nothing to worry about. I'm a true example of such experience and I have grown thicker skin.
736  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can naira earners keep up with their BTC pursuit. on: January 24, 2024, 03:59:41 AM
As of when you made this post I suppose Bitcoin was already facing it's price correction which is equally the dips that happens before the bull run commences.
Now if anyone usually invest in Bitcoin whether with naira or dollar it doesn't matter it all depends on your cash flow, if you decide to buy btc worth 20$ you will just have to check the current price (dollar rate) and balance with your naira if you can't afford it the. you will have to lower the accumulation to a price that suits you. Although because of inflation it will affect the accumulation rate but as of now it's an advantage to everyone both those who DCA in naira and those who earn in dollars as Bitcoin dips it will be a discount on you accumulated stash e.g you will have more Bitcoin purchased because of the price fall in Bitcoin.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 23, 2024, 11:33:15 PM
Getting the right information is very paramount in the crypto world, the right information will give you the right results.
From every thing I read this is my most captivating line, it's carry's a quality than the entire body of the post.

Basically, from survey it's quite normal to see people rush into some thing when it's trending or it's about to hit up for good profit. so I wouldn't be surprised to see people fall in to scams because when you're in a haste you tend not to be careful enough. One thing I know about Bitcoin and it's bull run is that that newbies( beginners in the crypto space) tends to feel anxious while hearing about Bitcoin and it's past performances, which makes them go into shitcoin thinking they will perform as good as Bitcoin because they're starting small as Bitcoin did too whereas they don't know the true difference.

That's why I quoted the above, it's only a good knowledge that can bring people out of this tempting shitcoins and scams just as you said earlier.
738  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin mining vs Gas flaring: which affect our ozone layer more? on: January 23, 2024, 11:10:59 PM
Sometimes I wonder why this country keeps borrow stupid ideals from the US and other countries, Nigeria is so blessed that we can even mine more Bitcoin if we have the necessary tools for it but the regulation on Bitcoin mining as a result of environmental management is absolutely to the interest of external forces because I don't see mining to be as harmful as the oil spillage and gas environmental pollution happening both in the rural and urban areas of the country.

The truth is most of the regulations are forced down to us from the so called bigger countries, I'm quite exposed to politics and I understand what is really happening that's why I don't blame anybody for whatsoever is happening because one man cannot right the wrong of everyone. it's has been a threat for our presidents or leaders not to go against there rules because of some debts and weapon business happening between our country and other so called bigger counting.

Back to mining we can still do our things here just the the cost of mining is very high for us over here if not me and you know that the rules do not apply here as a result of maybe corruption but it's an advantage. even when Bitcoin transactions where banned we still kept doing it so we can still mine Bitcoin and nothing will happen.
739  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Our country no fit carry last on: January 23, 2024, 10:45:53 PM
"Them say to whom shege is given, much sense is expected." that is a quote from the street of naija, based on how tough the country has been it has modded us to survive even where people don't survive much. It's more like natural to see Nigerians flourish every where they are because they're very smart, intelligent people. not just in this forum has Nigerians proven themselves worthy of the celebration but in other industries, as you mentioned; music, movie industries etc, most of the techs we use around the world was first developed by Nigerians, the world first blood transfusion machine was produced by Nigerian, there is more to talk about in Nigeria. we are giant of AFRICA that is not a joke...

I commend the efforts of senior colleagues too but what seems to be chasing them away from here is the increase in shit post but very soon it will be regulated I trust Nigerians.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which good altcoins can I hold along with Bitcoin for the upcoming halving? on: January 23, 2024, 06:04:54 PM
Since most of the altcoins (if not all) depends on Bitcoin for its increase in price I would suggest that you look at the top 10 coins in the most prominent exchanges or from reliable sources and choice from them.

If I would be specific you have chosen some good coins already, so you can add XRP, AVAX, MATIC etc for layer 2 tokens you could look at OPTIMISM and ARBITRUM they good at least from my perception.
