721  Other / Meta / Re: Do discussions always have to be serious? on: September 23, 2023, 12:39:15 AM
Not only that, I had several posts deleted. I'm not talking about my posts being deleted, I don't have a problem with that. I just want to ask whether discussions must always be serious? because I also rarely see jokes or something funny so the discussion is more fluid and friendly. I sometimes see things like that in popular members, but most members are not like that
Maybe the popular members you see also have their posts deleted but they don't go on lamenting about it.

You have 7 deleted posts, I have 20 deleted posts. Even Theymos, the current administrator, has a deleted post, so what exactly are you mourning about here? This is a Bitcoin/crypto forum, for Pete's sake.

You want fun? Humor? Memes? Pick up threads or boards dedicated for that, or try Reddit, twitter.

I already said that I don't mind my post being deleted. I have no problem regarding that. Understand?

I'm talking about a little humor. Nothing says meme here. So in your opinion, the discussion here should be serious? Right?
722  Other / Meta / Re: Do discussions always have to be serious? on: September 23, 2023, 12:22:48 AM
I know you are referring to your reply which was deleted in a self-moderated thread as referenced here

Like the small note says at the top;
Quote
This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic
You should have created a new topic and then included your "jokes" and "fun"

No need to create a new meta thread about your deleted reply in a self-moderated thread.

I avoid such reputation board threads in most cases because they are filled up with people craving drama and have so much ego in them that they won't even read("listen") to any form of advice. If you are craving such drama, then have at it, but don't come back wailing for help.

Not only that, I had several posts deleted. I'm not talking about my posts being deleted, I don't have a problem with that. I just want to ask whether discussions must always be serious? because I also rarely see jokes or something funny so the discussion is more fluid and friendly. If you need to joke over some kind of thing and don't want to discuss it seriously, you can always find your way to the off-topic board. I believe there are a lot of funny posts that you can contribute to and have fun doing.

Unfortunately it was too quiet there and no one liked to discuss there. So you think, since it's about making money from signature campaigns, it should be serious? shouldn't we discuss for fun? or because most people think this forum is a place to work?
724  Other / Meta / Do discussions always have to be serious? on: September 23, 2023, 12:05:12 AM
I have had several posts deleted or reported because (maybe) they were considered off topic even though my intention was to be a little funny or joking so that the discussion was not stiff and not too serious. Do you think discussions should always be that serious?

Come on buddy... sometimes we need a little humor to face difficult realities  Grin
725  Other / Meta / Re: is Politics and Society board turning into a lowkey Off-topic board? on: September 22, 2023, 11:58:49 PM
Sometimes I come across posts that to me look like they are best suited for Off-topic board rather than Politics and Society board. It gets a little confusing and there seems to be low or no Mod activity there. The Mod assigned for that board has been offline for ages.
Post like this have nothing to do with Politics and Society in my opinion, or am I being too extreme?

Since the reporting is free, there may be no harm in reporting on topics that don't resonate with the board. Or you could alert the OP of the thread to move it.

Maybe because this board was not included in the campaign's calculations, it is less popular. I don't know why this board was excluded from the campaign... does anyone know why?
726  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 12500€ loan on: September 22, 2023, 10:10:12 AM
I will help you get a loan but you will have to give me €500 in advance without asking a question to the address located on my profile. Send it then text with the transaction ID. I will start processing. Are we in a deal?

I just kept quiet. Just looking around, no plans to tell anyone. I will send you my wallet address. you definitely understand what I mean....  Wink
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 22, 2023, 04:51:33 AM

Do you have a small business idea? or business experience? I want to hear it

One business idea that can be done with relatively small capital and is quite promising is opening a roadside food stall. As far as I know they can take profits of up to 200% of capital. Quite promising, especially if it can be developed and has many branches. The risk is that if your food doesn't sell, it will go stale and can't be resold
728  Economy / Economics / Re: A small summary of Cypherpunk on: September 22, 2023, 04:31:56 AM

Do you suggest the Cypherpunk to be the pseudonymous entity Satoshi who created Bitcoin?  How ever. According to an article I read the cypherpunk wanted a more unique digital currency which led to the creation of Bitcoin. You can read more about it here. https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2016/04/09/bitcoin-and-the-rise-of-the-cypherpunks/?outputType=amp

No no, cypherpunk is a community of cryptography lovers, to be honest I've forgotten most of what I read because I read it about 3 months ago when I registered here and as you know, there's no discussion here so I forgot a lot of things that I read

Btw, thanks for the link you provided, I will try reading it
729  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 12500€ loan on: September 22, 2023, 03:16:49 AM
How will this happen? It is difficult to conclude a guarantee for your home with a person who is thousands of kilometers away from you and cannot verify your data. Try to mortgage your home or tell a friend or the bank about it, but it is difficult to obtain such a loan here.
It's your first post and no one will take it seriously.

Actually it's easy, the OP only needs to send his house via the bitcoin network, I'm sure someone will be willing to provide a loan after getting collateral. But if the OP can't deliver the house maybe he's just lying about having a house

In reality, it's very easy to get a loan from a bank with a house as collateral, or maybe the OP is an idealist who doesn't want to deal with banks and chose bitcoin.. It's amazing  Grin
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the idea behind the creation of Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2023, 12:50:23 AM
~snip~

Bitcoin has a long history, and bitcoin is not the first to become a digital currency. Before bitcoin there were digital currencies but they all failed. Bitcoin was the first successful digital currency and the idea of bitcoin has been around for a long time through the cyhperfunk community. I don't know much about this, just read a bit and tried to create a discussion about it but no one commented

A small summary of Cypherpunk

But not many people seem to care about the history of bitcoin, what they care most about is the price.
731  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apakah ada perbedaan sesudah naik ranking on: September 21, 2023, 11:28:15 PM

732  Other / Meta / Re: Considering new feature for Bitcoin Forum on: September 21, 2023, 04:20:20 PM
I was thinking that a new feature might be interesting for the forum. Is it possible to implement zapping (with lightning) on topics, comments and profiles' bio?
I met with this idea on stacker.news . I found it very useful. Let me know you thoughts.

Best regards,

This is truly a brilliant idea, especially since this idea emerged from your first post. I am amazed by your big ideas. Well... like many other suggestions, usually there will be lots of merit raining down on threads like this. Wait, it's definitely raining... Even though it's not the rainy season right now, so maybe what I said was wrong.

733  Other / Meta / Re: Fun thought on Bitcointalk having this particular feature. on: September 21, 2023, 10:46:01 AM
Besides everything, OP, you put on a signature; what should managers do in this case? Voice post?

Hahaha....If that happens, there may be a rule from the campaign manager that a certain number of minutes must be recorded, and the manager must listen to each voice in multiple languages to see whether the recording is on topic or not. I didn't imagine anything like that and there aren't many tools for analyzing sound recordings

Maybe it's a good idea to torture the campaign managers...  Grin Grin
734  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tagging Accounts Sellers And Tagging Traded/Sold/Bought Accounts on: September 21, 2023, 10:39:07 AM
Honestly I already like my avatar, but I'm trying to join the campaign. If someone complained about this, and wanted me to stop my campaign, I would probably be prepared to do so.

It seems like we've gone too far off topic. If anyone wants to continue, please open a new thread and I'll be there

Are you kidding me? Come on... it's about merit and character for a signature campaign. Nobody thinks like that, if they're on the campaign trail
I'm not really sure if it's for merit and character for a signature campaign. AFAIK most of campaigns only ask minimum of 150 characters and few of them ask minimum of 200 characters, 200 characters is really short. Take an example your post, it contain 145 characters which mean if you write two or three more characters, it's already exceed than 150 characters. Actually they only need to create one liner post to get paid.

As for merit, most of people really read the value of the post than the length.

To be honest, I never count written characters. So 150 characters is quite short, maybe about two lines? I think 150 characters is more than 4 lines, thanks for letting me know
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 21, 2023, 01:31:28 AM
Screw the moon; let's to the elephant nebula.  Don't forget your wallets.

So that's what a crypto launchpad is?

Fuck crypto

Wkwkwkwkkw.... Best statement I read today
738  Other / Meta / Re: Cybersecurity Board - Hardware Wallets Save All Now - But How Long ? on: September 21, 2023, 01:27:31 AM
~cut~

That's a very nice board. To be honest, I don't understand security and hacking. But if such boards exist, there will likely be discussions about hacking and phishing methods. I don't know whether discussing hacking and phishing is legal or illegal, but maybe if we analyze hacking and debate the methods, then people will know how to hack.
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a better Macro, micro Economic Research on: September 21, 2023, 01:01:34 AM
Hahahaha..... I quite agree with you. It is not as easy as one might imagine to make a profit from crypto trading. Sometimes it's stressful because prices go down and don't go up for a long time. If the capital is small, the results will not be much

Futures leverage trading exist as an option for people with lower capital to have higher exposure(and risk). But then again, futures trading and trading in general isn't really recommended for most people to do due to how people oftenly underestimate how complicated it is.

As far as I know, trading with leverage will increase risk. Maybe it's good for advanced classes, but for beginner classes it's very risky. However, if we are mentally ready and really intend to learn, this can be done with little money. But I'm not interested in that anymore, because I spent quite a lot of money there, it's scarier than buying bitcoin and then the price goes down.
740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Alt account or loan defaulter [Obari] on: September 21, 2023, 12:43:56 AM

First yes Sakanwa has paid back the loan, how he did it is only mine and he's business.

I don't follow the discussion in this thread. I read a little and most importantly I am happy if you have your money back.

Have a nice day
