721  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: February 24, 2023, 11:59:59 PM
If that happens, I will still stand firm and try my luck with other investments but knowing Bitcoin, I know for sure that it will not crash as others think. It has been through different market cycles and has been through lots of challenges so it will not fall that easy. For now, my focus is to buy and invest more Bitcoin while I'm still capable because I still want to grab the profitable chance of earning when the bull market happens.

Bitcoin crash won't also happen in a just blink of an eye. It surely goes with a process and lots of resistance will be breached first before the actual big crash. I also don't see any reason why bitcoin should crash to the point that it will go no value.

A global pandemic already happened where we experienced a once-in-a-lifetime economic crash to the bottom but cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, remains standing strong and in fact, even shows bullish activity during the pandemic.

Just trust Bitcoin and forget this stuff about the total crash.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you keep your gambling habit under control? on: February 24, 2023, 11:59:18 PM
How do you keep your gambling habit in check such that becoming addicted and out of control is something that never happens?

I don't really know. When I do gamble and win consistently, there's always a thing in my mind to consider stopping. The same goes when I'm losing. Maybe the experience tells me to behave like that because I do know to myself that if I keep playing for long, my winnings will eventually go.

I also do think that even though we share our strategy here, it's not applicable to all of us since we have our own way of dealing with it and we do have different emotions when doing gamble. Maybe just try to always keep in mind that if we gamble too much, the worst-case scenario will be our end.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 24, 2023, 11:59:13 PM
Thank you for sharing, @OP. One thing I know is that no one becomes a professional gambler overnight; it's usually a gradual process of learning the best basics that work best for you as well as strategies that help you win more. Any newcomer to gambling who does not take the time to learn will lose and learn from their mistakes. I read the story of a gambler who makes his living out of gambling. He said when he started, he lost a lot, but he never stopped betting and learning strategies until he became good at it, and even now, no matter how good he is, he still loses because it's just gambling. ✌️

Nice share although doesn't really necessary. Newbies want to explore things to the point that they might be ignored all those do's and don't in gambling. Back in my newbie days, I don't really take any advice as I want to explore things on my own.

Good thing that I don't end up a mess and I hope other newbies will have the same way.

Gambling is dangerous but it's not that newbies will be automatically doomed once they gamble.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading season? on: February 23, 2023, 11:59:10 PM
I was kind of confused little about something, after someone walked on to me and was telling me that in trading, there are seasons when you profit from it (lucky days) and when but when I asked for an explanation, he didn't give a clear explanation, so I had to bring it up here to know if there are truly seasons of profits in trading and how can I identify such seasons?

I don't believed in trading seasons such as the speculation that when BTC is up, alts are down then vice-versa.

You can profit at trading even at the worst days of the market with a good timing executing your strategy.

Just trade at your best regardless of the season you are referring. Same strategies applies and just be better at it.
725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 23, 2023, 11:59:05 PM
A friend of mine came to me and we were having a conversation and I was trying to introduce he to the forum, but he turns out that I was asked if I really trust and believe in bitcoin it will never crash like other cypto industry.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.

There would be no crash that will happen overnight.

No one can convince you if bitcoin is trusted but it's all about you. Do your DYOR and conclude things after that.

Even if we say Bitcoin can be trusted, will you trust us? Therefore, make your own research rather than depending on other's statement.
726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traffic will jam if bitcoin pumps on: February 23, 2023, 11:59:00 PM
Many people are relenting to trade or invest but assuming the pumps start now, everybody will wants to come back and make money. People can not endure test of time, everybody is taking out their bitcoin investment because they've no strong foundation for bitcoin but those staying and keep trust the project of bitcoin will reap the reward of their patients.

This what in 2011, people miss opportunity to be rich by the act of impatient and remorse of system crashed but we are strong enough come rain come shine we will still wait for good days to come. Bitcoiners for life

There is no missed opportunity since no one even knows what will be the future of Bitcoin though.

Regardless of everything it's good that past experiences should teach us what to do next.

Since we already witness what bitcoin is capable of, then just accumulate as much as we can if possible.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 19, 2023, 11:59:58 PM
This makes me think that Giannis is going to have an edge for his team to win.

Looking at the roster though, Team Giannis does have a clear edge on winning against Team Lebron.

Good to see that team Lebron is not stacked with such big names as for sure, his critics will point it out again and will be serious even if the purpose of All-Star is just for entertainment purposes. Around less than an hour to go and tip-off will now commence between Team Lebron and Team Giannis. I hope that this game will be exciting with a thrilling close out game at the end.
728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it was you on: February 18, 2023, 02:37:00 AM
Spot trading should only always the start. How can someone even understand the concepts of Future Trading if don't know how spot trading works. Even professionals and experienced traders losing that much in Futures and that tells us how risky Future Trading is.

Eventually, newbies will come to the point that they are now ready to face the risk in Future Trading. That's the start of stepping up into new challengers. After learning both Spot and Futures, that's time traders will now choose what's their preferred trading.
729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time to buy or sell? on: February 18, 2023, 01:45:46 AM
Regardless of any analysis you are referring to or getting some insights at some traders, be it buying or selling, it's really our own call. Those who say that will buy or sell have their own factors that are considered before making such moves. We don't have the same factors as each other that's why it's a subjective decision and only we can decide about it.

Based on how you looked at the given situation, try to form your own set of factors and decide later on what's the good thing to do.

The results will just be obviously known if it's good or not once we execute that decision. Good luck to you.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 18, 2023, 01:38:39 AM
If there was no Covid outbreak in the recent years, Donaire could've afford to have 2 fights per year while he's still a year or two below 40s but that wasn't the case before because every movements are very limited because of the outbreak and that includes their preparations and discussions to make a bout happen. Now, as time passes by, Donaire's age is continuing to add up as well and that makes him to go for the safer side where he should only fight at least once a year. And with his recent loss against Inoue, that gives him a reason not to retire because it's not a good exit for him.

The good thing is even during a pandemic, Donaire was able to settle a good fight against tough boxers after losing to Naoya Inoue in their first match.

After that loss, he snatch the WBC Bantamweight title from Nordine Ouballi and won against a rising star and prime Reymart Gaballo. He was 38 and 39 years old respectively when he did that. Both of that wins are impressively won by the 4th Round Technical Knock Out.

Another reason why he is not getting rusty in the ring as he's facing tough challengers even in old age and his body is able to keep up like he's fighting at his prime.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 18, 2023, 01:22:46 AM
Oh, alright.
The Chot's list is there as he's still the one to coach the Gilas. But resorting to that idea, he knew that Kelly is already aged and looking at the line up of other teams.
Some from their roster might also be old enough but look at how massive those players are. No doubt with the experience of Kelly and his achievements but they should have chosen better and younger.
That's more ideal contributor to the team and more athletic but if there's no other option then Kelly fits in then.

That's the problem sometimes even in other countries. Since windows qualifying games usually can clash with the player's availability, there should already be a consideration on who's player will be put up. Those players are in the reserve pool.

But that's not a problem regardless if we don't have a complete lineup since we now have a sure slot on the global competition.

Not saying it's fine to lose but either Gilas will win or lose those 2 games here, the PH is already qualified for the World Cup.
Yeah, I remember when Chot said that it's not really a requirement to win when he's justifying the loss of Gilas. But that's not really a point even if there's a secured slot already.
Those who are available will be prioritized for sure and that's up to the management on who's ready on the pool. I'm sure that many of these players on the pool would be glad to represent the country.

But don't get me wrong. I'm not pointing out Coach Chot's statement.

What I'm saying is, regardless if those expected players are not fit to play at the window qualifying games that will be held here in the country, it's fine since the big deal will be on the main event and those original players should be fit on that time.

It's also a good opportunity to expose the backup players in the window qualifying games especially if the country is already eligible in the main event. In that way, these backup will have some additional experience if ever they will be needed to replace someone urgently during the main event.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 18, 2023, 01:18:00 AM
The scary part about the Phoenix Suns is CP3 has more options for his passing skills. He himself is already a threat with that mid-range perfection skill and it can pull two defenders to open up space for either Booker, Ayton, or KD. So he can do a lob, kick it out, or just let Durant do his magic.
But I will focus on what they will do to make stops, defense must also be as strong as possible to win games.

I have to agree with that "BUT ONLY" if Chris Paul will maintain that kind of consistency in the playoffs.

Regardless of how he performed well in the season, CP3 always choked at the latter part of the playoffs out of nowhere. Blewing a series lead even way back to his Los Angeles Clippers stint up to the last playoffs with his current team, Phoenix Suns.

But who knows with Durant as the new teammate that he requested, things might change in the playoffs.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling problem on: February 18, 2023, 01:09:45 AM
Its good to see that there are places which do provide out such service for free for those who are addicted with gambling.Dont know if these are real consults or just that pile of text which you would be reading it up.

No consultation but rather the casinos will just force you out of their circle. In online casinos, it means no email related to their service will be sent to you or possibly add the account to the restricted list. However, this will be useless as gamblers will do anything to return no matter what and there are lots of gambling sites aside from advertisements that we see on social media.

The best thing to do is not truly stop but become responsible as always even in an event of huge loss.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommend your Favorite Slots on: February 18, 2023, 01:05:07 AM
Been winning good multipliers at this casino game several times already but this is the first time I managed to win good multipliers.

This wasn't a manual spin but I bought a buy-in feature. I managed to hit this after 3 consecutive buy-in losses.

Game: Wild Cash

735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 17, 2023, 11:59:35 PM

Much to my surprised Magsayo will not have Roach as his lead trainer he opted to be with Marvin Zamodio, lets's see in this coming fight if Magsayo made the right decision, Magsayo badly needed to win this fight, but changing your main trainer like Roach will make a huge impact in his performance could be bad or good for this coming fight, it will be interesting what Magsayo will show with Zamudio in his corner.

Magsayo, Promoter Explain Change In Head Trainers From Freddie Roach To Marvin Somodio

Quote
“But they relate more. They’re Filipino. They speak the same dialect. And he just felt like he needed a change. He needed a new gym. He just needed to try something new. And, you know, like I said, nothing against Freddie, nothing against Wild Card, but sometimes you wanna try something new, let Marvin lead, be the lead trainer. And we’re gonna see the results. I think we’ll see very good results on March 4th.”

I think it could be the issue that Mark or coach Freddy has a tight deadline with some boxers as well that's why he can't give more time to Magsayo. Not saying that he is the reason why Mark lost, it's not and I would agree that it's better if it will be a Filipino so that there will be no lost in translation.

Marvin has guided Mark before and giving him good advise in his career.

I think it's time for Magsayo to go back to his grassroots training against with his old lead trainer.

I'm not saying this is a bad decision but we know how great Roach having mentored Pacquiao and all other great boxers, he knows what to say and how to say things before and during the fight, I don't know Zamudio, but if he wins the fight against Figueroa it's very likely that he will have Zamudio as a permanent trainer.
I hope Magsayo will be back on the right track Figueroa is just too good every time I watched his style of fighting on Youtube I have doubt if Magsayo can match his skill and aggresiveness.

That's not a bad decision because Marvin is already on the side of Magsayo for a long.

As also the same country as Magsayo, it's good to see a Filipino tandem on the court.

Who knows that if Magsayo just continue to win, we will eventually Marvin becoming a popular trainer and soon can reach the level of Coach Roach.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 11:59:13 PM
I agree, it is better for Magsayo to be slick, and quick and must launch a scoring punch rather than a knock-out punch.  This way he can compete against Vargas in scoring.  Besides not putting much of force on the punches can render him more mobile and quick.  He should know when to launch heavy knockout punches and the scoring punches.  Sadly, Magsayo is all brawn and not using his brain during the fight against Vargas.

For sure Magsayo's camp is already aware of those problems. If ever given a chance again to face Vargas, those problems will surely be addressed. Let's also consider the fact that Magsayo isn't really outscored in the match as he won the one judge.

Surely Magsayo has learned a thing or two about Vargas's strength and his weakness especially recently when Foster revealed how to defeat Vargas, although I'm not sure that Magsayo can use that one because they have a different fighting style and Foster is quite slick, that is why Vargas failed in his attempt. This time, Magsayo should level up his game because he will get embarrassed for sure if he didn't learn something from their first encounter.

Magsayo stated the he expected to win that match but decided to respect the judge's decision. It means Magsayo didn't really being overwhelmed by Vargas' strength. Also new to Magsayo's experience fighting against a long reach and much taller compared to him.

Figueroa has the same specifications as Vargas with height advantage and long reach. Magsayo will use his experienced fighting Vargas in his fight against Figueroa.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 17, 2023, 11:58:57 PM
The likelihood of Inoue knocking out Fulton in the early rounds of the fight is higher than in the later rounds. Inoue has won most of his fights that ended in a knockout in less than 6 rounds, so if Fulton can't withstand Inoue's power early on, he may not last. While Fulton is a champion, I have yet to see a fighter who has made Inoue struggle in a fight, and I hope Fulton can provide a challenge in this one.

Not sure about that. Fulton is currently the most top-ranked boxer that Inoue will face at this point.

If we will refer to Inoue's last fight, against Paul Butler, the fight lasted 11 rounds. Butler is not even close to comparing to the level of Stephen Fulton therefore I'm seeing this fight will not lead to a KO win by Inoue in the early rounds.

About the last statement of yours, Nonito Donaire is the first boxer who gives a tough challenge to Inoue to win during their first match. That was even recognized by Inoue since it was the first time he received such heavy damage in his career. Unfortunately, we weren't able to witness who will win between prime Donaire and prime Inoue.
Prime Inoue vs Prime Donaire? I would surely bet on Donaire into his prime days.Speed and good counter attacks would really be that hard to guess out and he was known for and he was called "The Flash" but now that he do gets older then he is really that past into his prime on the time that they had a fight with Inoue and i would say that he could beat up the monster. Now that Inoue steps up on higher division
and directly trying to get the belt holder of said division then it would really be that simple on snatching it out.It would still surely last 12 rounds i guess and i wont see any
KO on this one.

Same thoughts. I would go to prime Donaire too. During the first match between Donaire and Inoue, Donaire almost win it but just lack of stamina to keep that strength and speed. That's the reason why Inoue able to recover and in later rounds, used that advantage to beat Donaire.

Stamina is really the key on every fight aside from strength. Aside from that, if stamina can be easily depleted, so is the strength of their punches and it will also can have an effect on their defense.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 17, 2023, 11:58:47 PM
Yes, this fight is happening, I posted it here first, hehehe.

Anyways, it's good to have a separate thread for this fight, this is for the bantamweight belt so it's deserves one.

And as the majority of you guys see it, we are going to favor our very own Nonito Donaire and his chances are good to win another bantamweight reign. Santiago might be unknown to us, not enough in the top 5, but it doesn't mean that it will be easy for Donaire. Still very hard fight but at the end, the experience of Donaire will be in full display here, how he is going to set up that left hook, coverage of the ring and setting feint and traps to open Santiago and then give us his patented left hook to finish with a knockout.

Yup, no such thing as an easy fight for Donaire now especially at this stage of his career but i could say that this one is very winnable. As usual, Donaire's height or we say, he is the bigger fighter here which could be the biggest advantage of the Filipino Flash. Santiago is 5'2 which i think will give him a hard time to hit Donaire and him vulnerable to that patented counter left hook which could end the fight quickly.

But given Donaire's age, I think I can't really expect that he will struggle to win against Santiago. In Donaire's 38 to 40 years old span, he faces young fights which is not in the same level of performance on Santiago. Donaire KO a young boxer on his prime Reymart Gaballo and faces Inoue with a good performance although only on their first match.

I'm not considering Santiago as a threat but upset can always happened.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: February 16, 2023, 11:59:14 PM
If bitcoin crash today, what will be your fate? Poor or rich. Most people on the platform have submitted all their life savings to bitcoin investment. There was once a man in my area who sold his house to invest in a local platform called BARAZAR in 4 months missive the so-called BARAZAR was shoot down and now he does not have a cottage. So I ask again if bitcoin crashed today what will be your description rich or poor?

Define rich or poor based on what you think.

If bitcoin will crash today, to the point that no value, then we will just return to our usual daily life activity during the time crypto wasn't even born yet. If we are currently holding bitcoins then suddenly being no value, no choice but to accept that it's a financial loss and try our best to move on with that situation.

But don't worry, if bitcoin will really crashes, don't expect that it will happen overnight. You can still prepare for that possible scenario. Although for me, I don't see Bitcoin being crashed at this point even we count for several decades.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: February 16, 2023, 11:59:08 PM
yes that's correct. chances are I'll come back to Play N Go once a week for the good results and maybe also for the big multiplier chances in the bonus rounds.

Since Play-N-Go slots games don't have a Feature Buy-In feature, the only thing you can really hope to play for their slots is to hit those big multipliers.

Their buy-in featured can be compared to their special bonus round features where a big win is expected.

But of course, not all the time the situation will favor to us so better know already what should be the drill.
