To those concerned about dumps etc. In life if you have lots of money you will make much more and if you have little money you will either lose it or make just a little.
People with little money that are desperately looking for cash will sell quickly because they have to and that is fine and nothing wrong with it. They make a little profit and go on with their lives. Many people fall in this category. Then there are those with lots of money that do not need to sell. They will see the long term potential of an opportunity and hold on and buy the coins sold by the first category of people. The will reap the long term profits and become many fold richer which is also fine. In order to go from category 1 to category 2 you have to find a way to not have to sell quickly. Unfortunately it is not easy and most will fail to do this. Some opportunities are better than others that can bootstrap the process - spot the opportunities of which Waves is one imo, and try at least.
Once you bridge the gap you build your snowball and this is how life rolls.
Probably the best post i have ever read in the Bitcointalk forums. Look at Ethereum, thats a classic case of the above post, EVERYONE can hold coins, meaning, pretend the coins do not exsist, find other ways to get you by and in 6+months you will likely see x5 the profits you could of had. EG: you sell at 150k sats. But if you had held and waited approx 6 months the price could easily be 750k sats. So selling at 150k 1000 coins = 1.5 bitcoin selling at 750k 1000 coins = 7.5 bitcoin Then think about how much Bitcoin could be worth, many people expect a drop after the halving, i think Bitcoin can hold $1,000, due to the mass exposure it will gain and people are much more understanding and trusting than the last time it went to $1,000. In the 2+ years Vericoin exists it has been numerous time above 10k and back. comparing vrc now and other instances would be like comparing it to different coins don't you think? it has had 1 rally over 10 previously with current news out. comparing vrc pre news and post news is like comparing different coins imo. Whales are suppressing price for buying cheap VRC before VRC ICO  I'll be surprised if Vericoin didn't go back over 20k with Verium! BIG walls in the 13k region, once they are gone it will get interesting, they are probably fake sells walls to keep price under 13k. |

Does the lite client with balance forge? Is there forging at all in waves? Couldn't find it in the OP.
It will be announced in the "Techpaper". Detailed information for POS will be officially announced in 1-2 weeks after launch Waves on exchanges, after 14th of June. So what keeps the chain going now? Non released hard nodes? Team nodes If Waves is not trading x10 ICO price on launch i will be very surprised, but i wont be surprised if it goes x10 in the following days after official launch. One of very few (like i only have one other) i will be happy to Bag Hold. Crappy Lisk can hold x4 its ICO price, Waves x10 should be a given, maybe x20 on launch. Waves the best alt coin/platform of 2016 by far! |

In the ICO account, the bonus payments have Zero confirmations, i guess this is the same for everyone right?
So, i have now added the wallet address to the ICO page from my WAVES lite client. And i have also confirmed this via email.
So how do i transfer waves token from website ico page to the new lite client?

WavesGUI-0.3.0.MAIN When i right click the Zip File and check properties, this file have FULL permissions for System. full control modify read & execute read write special permissions. QUESTION: Is this normal? I have not yet opened the file, i have scanned it and it was clean.

Can someone here explain to noobs what Verium is. (i know, but its not that easy to "highlight" Point out highlights.But not so sure on the less coin = better, looks at hte coin supply of Ethereum, lisk, waves, it seems these days Bigger is Better. If i was doig this, i would of had a bigger supply, gone are the days when low supply meant more valuable. regarding price, if VRC breaks the walls up to 16/17k... it would be easy to go to 25k (32btc give or take from 16,500 to 25k) and the fomo would eat the price up to 25k alone. |

There are not many good long term coins in Crypto, i could count them on one hand, but Vericoin would be there, as it has stood the test of time.

Do you think that the price will drop first ? Releases on the exchanges normally follow the same pattern. Coins dumped into high sells, dumping down to almost-ICO prices, then rising, the dipping agin, then settling down. Then rising with time. In WAVES's case, I think it will be a good steady rise after the initial fluctuations. But yes, unpredictable and anything can happen in crypto  Not sure about your 'almost ICO prices' since it hasn't happened in any of the serious ICO's. I would say 1. Price rockets to 10-20x ICO minutes after trade start. 2 . Price slowly moves towards 3-4x ICO first day. 3. Price recovers to 6-7x ICO next 4-5 days. 4. Price settles around 6-7x ICO while direction is found. This has been the case for ETH, LISK etc. one of the most "Spot On" predictions i have ever read on BCT! i'll second that! |

It will be hard to break the wall on 15k.
does look a bit imposing....did drumpf build that wall? Same on 20k, 25k and 25.110k. ~950 k IO i guess all one guy own if they really wanted to maximize profit they should probably be staking those bad boys. it would simultaneously: lower the amount of available supply on exchange increase strength of network please maybe seasoned trader could give point of view I can imagine only it is to prevent the heavy pump. Maybe CORRECT! And the inevitable Dump that comes after it, they look like "Pump Blocking" Walls. Nothing looks worse than going to 30k to get dumped back down to 7k |

Something has stopped me investing in Rise. All my associates claim it is too much of a risk. to clone something not yet functioning seams ridiculous. however I did put in 0.2 BTC and what ever returns I get I will donate to charity. It does not smell like a good return to me so I will not invest a lot of money into it.
I wish all the other contributors good luck though. Everything is a risk I suppose and we all go for risks we think will be good for us. Rise is not a risk i will take personally so apart from 0.1 Bitcoin for charity I am out.
Yeah, smart people are side stepping this , thats for sure. PnD'ers have no shame, they even called this "coin" Risk. How gullible do you have to be to invest into something called Risk? The people who are buying Risk..... (nearly typed Lisk, did you see what they done there, how they loll'ed when they thought of putting a R instead of the Lisk.) 1- own a chocolate teapot, because of a special offer Buy one get one free. 2- bought a ton of glass hammers, because they were ICO'd and going to be twice the price when they hit the shops. 3- that guy i told to bring me the tartan paint, did not see him for hours until he turned up with several cans of paint to make the tartan pattern.... 4- people who think there is actually gold at the end of rainbows. 5- People who in a former life hoarded snake oil !
