721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining profitability on: August 24, 2018, 12:37:39 PM
if you already have the mining equipment such as ASICs or a GPU mining rig and also only if you have cheap electricity you may be able to make some profit. otherwise if you want to start it from scratch then it is not worth it anymore because altcoins are going  down and by the time you set things up they will be a lot lower.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It can still happen again on: August 24, 2018, 11:41:46 AM
of course the "pumps" will happen again but there is a very long time before their start happening. and until that time you will continue losing money as long as you continue bag holding altcoins.
many of the investors have already made their exit or some of them moved on to other altcoins to pump those and make profit while the bigger ones struggle.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And yet still, I RISE!!! (Bitcoin Price rises despite ETF denials) on: August 24, 2018, 11:30:25 AM
What do you make of the bitcoin price resiliency despite ETF denials. Previously any FUD or even rumor of FUD would cause at least a mini panic sale. But now our "sails" are steady. Does this mean that bitcoin has matured to a new level? Does this mean there are factors in the crypto market that make bitcoin a desirable attraction even without ETF approvals? Share your thoughts.
Yes!everybody is waiting for rising up.And I do believe that it will going to be done.lets just wait and trust on it.

not really. only those who aren't involved in the market are waiting for the price to rise. like newbies who have a tiny amount of bitcoin and want its value to rise up.
the rest, who are actually involved in the market like the traders or anybody else who wants to buy in is waiting for the risks to be lifted before they can invest. and that will happen with ETF rejection soon.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is back on: August 23, 2018, 07:07:04 AM
there is a lot of misconception among newbies regarding the market!
- bitcoin never went anywhere to come back now
- the drop that bitcoin had was partly necessary to start the subsequent rises. and the current stable phase is a good place for accumulating a lot of bitcoin at cheaper prices before the boom happens.
- bitcoin rise does NOT bring other altcoins up with it. in fact it is quite the opposite. when bitcoin starts rising investors pull their money out of altcoins and they crash hard because everyone moves to bitcoin.
- the only time bitcoin rise coincides with altcoin rise is when bitcoin drops like 10% and altcoins drop 20% then bitcoin recovers 10% and altcoins recover 5%. that recovery is happening at the same time and you see the market in green thinking altcoins are rising with bitcoin!
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitcoin ETF Rejections Drive The Market Down on: August 23, 2018, 06:48:51 AM
market would have gone down even if SEC approved ETF. its rejection was just another excuse for the pumpers to dump their altcoins and drive their prices lower and take another step towards that bottom that is still far away. otherwise you can see that bitcoin is still keeping its price up and it is still around $6400 and strongly above $6k while others go down.

I think it is getting pretty apparant that the SEC has no intention of allowing any sort of Bitcoin ETF in the near future.

from day 1 i said ETF is not going to be approved, i got caught up in the hype for a short time and became unsure but i came back to being nearly sure that they will continue rejecting all of them.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: History might repeat itself once again- The new China ban on: August 23, 2018, 06:37:11 AM
China last year did not ban cryptocurrency trading, what they did was that they tried regulating their centralized exchanges but they refused to comply so they closed them down. and ever since that day people have been trading P2P or trading on other exchanges like the Japanese ones.
and this time is no different, there is nothing that indicates any kind of ban. so in a way you are correct history did repeat itself in the sense that we saw the same FUD about China ban one more time and the market ignore it Cheesy
727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: natural constant: high Risk = high reward on: August 23, 2018, 06:28:03 AM
well that chart is only true for real assets not for altcoins! in reality what that chart looks like is a series of small rises on an over all big down trend which is also called a dead cat bounce. in other words most of the coins that are currently going down will not stop until they are dead and gone.

as for the "don't buy the dips, buy the bottom" i have to say it is a wrong suggestion when it is talking generally. buying the dips is one of the common ways of making profit. for example an altocin that is dropping from $1000 down to $200 gives you a lot of profit if you buy its dips. for example after it dropped to $800 (a dip) you buy and dump it when it recovers to $850 and then stay out until it is dumped more to $600 then repeat and so on.
728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Aug 23 ETF Deadline... on: August 23, 2018, 06:20:36 AM
^^ in the end it doesn't matter how many of these ETFs come and get rejected and go. it all depends on how people think about them and how hyped up they are about each of these. otherwise it can even be approved and nothing changes about the price if nobody cared about it. just like lots of positive news that we had in the past 8 months of drop and none of them could change the trend to rising.
729  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far is the bottom for Bitcoin ? When will it peak again? on: August 23, 2018, 06:11:44 AM
it is true that you can not predict the bottom but with the evidence that we have at hand right now you can say with a reasonable confidence that the bottom is around $6000 and the chances of going lower than this price level and staying there are minimal.

as for the rise back up, you should be more concerned about how much you can accumulate in the time that you currently have not concerned about when you are going to run out of time.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash on: August 22, 2018, 12:45:56 PM
BitcoinCash has always been a pump and dump altcoin with no future. more than 90% of the BCash mining power comes from Bitmain and that is why even though its price is dropping hard, the hash rate is still stable at what it was before and Bitmain is trying so hard to keep its price up but failing to do so.

in the near future we have a planned spam attack against BCash which can cause some panic among investors and we may see a mass sell off that can crash the price of it soon.

i don't see any rise for it in the near future, we may see some pumps eventually but there are a lot of other altcoins that can be pumped just like BCH.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best time to invest in Ethereum has come again! on: August 22, 2018, 12:39:18 PM
how many times and how much money do you have to lose before you stop making silly decisions like this?

ethereum price is obviously going down and there is no stopping it. so far the market sentiment (not the forum post sentiment!) is very negative and the volume is also dropping. buying now is extremely risky.

what you can do is to buy after a huge drop. for example when a couple of days ago it fell near $200 you could have bought and then sold after it went back above $300 because as you can see despite going back to $300+ ETH fell down again to $270-$280 and is still going down.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: August 22, 2018, 12:30:33 PM
if you really want to trade seriously then don't start big. instead start with a small amount and try the market for yourself. trading is one of those things that is not suitable for everyone. some people will be very successful in it and some will just lose money consistently.

remember that it is not easy to trade and make consistent profit, and it takes a lot of time to gain enough experience that you can call yourself an "expert". if you can spare that time and money to learn then start. otherwise stay away.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I hold for some more months or Shoul I sell? on: August 22, 2018, 12:03:08 PM
what you should do is that you should start educating yourself about trading and the market so that you don't have to ask questions like this. in this market if you can not answer these questions then you should not be buying anything at all.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's now has 600- 700k bitcoins? on: August 22, 2018, 11:54:44 AM
More certainty could only come when coins get spent..

the only way you can become certain of how much he owns is that if Satoshi creates 1 transaction including all the outputs and spend all of them. otherwise spending from different keys at different times doesn't prove anything. it can still be 100 different people who had nothing to do with Satoshi but mined early blocks spending their coins.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever stop depending on fiat currency? on: August 22, 2018, 11:49:57 AM
well you can not stop depending on something that you didn't depend on in first place!

bitcoin has never depended on fiat currency and apart from 1 user on this forum nobody else has ever made this claim in the past 9 years because it doesn't even make sense.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Almost all the altcoins in red again! on: August 21, 2018, 07:54:24 AM
they are not red "again" they have been red for months if you look at the bigger picture!

what is happening is the continuation of the same dumps that started about 8 months ago. a lot of the small altcoins got dumped fast and clean reaching -90% for instance and then they have been having a healthy and in most cases green market.
but the bigger altcoins have been resisting the dumps from the start but the dumps are not something you can stop, all you can do is slow them down and that is what has been happening to big altcoins. you can see for example how ETH has been slowly losing its value from $1500 down to $200 and is still headed down.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Native blockchain or Token? on: August 21, 2018, 07:44:23 AM
for an investor to invest in either, there is no difference. the only way he can make profit is if the project is hyped up and also if the creators know how to pump it properly. they both can get pumped big or fail horribly if the creators have no idea how the manipulation market works.

for the creator to make profit from what they create, obviously creating a shitty ICO token is much easier than creating a blockchain because it requires much less coding and work and also it will have a lot more hype thanks to the fact that despite ICO hype dying it still is a strong one.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should There be a body to regulate Altcoins? on: August 21, 2018, 07:25:54 AM
no, this is a decentralized market and it should regulate itself.

as a result the fault falls on every single person who has participated in the altcoin market and allowed the scams to happen by buying these shitcoins and only thinking about the profit they gain.
we have all done it and will continue to do it mostly be cause we have lost hope for the altcoins to have any meaningful future as they continue being pumped and dumped.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔪💊If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It 🔪💊 on: August 21, 2018, 07:01:19 AM
there was never a "real faith" in altcoins in first place and they have always been pump and dumps that get dumped eventually no matter how long people ignore the issues in the altcoin market.

the traders need to dump them to get their money out and move to another altcoin to pump it. and because of that the real money is not exiting the market. it stays in, it just moves to another coin. for example as ETH is getting dumped hard these days, the newbie money runs away but the trader money goes to join the pump of other small altcoins.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH buy now to be held early 2019 on: August 18, 2018, 12:42:48 PM
something still tells me that ETH can fall hard once again and this big jump up in price is also making me very uneasy. i bought some at the bottom after the dumping recently was ended but i dumped it after i got the small profit that i was looking for because of that uneasy feeling.

and the main reason for that feeling is that i believe ETH went up to $300 because bitcoin went up to $6500 otherwise it would have never went up that high.

in any case i am happy with the profit that i have received from this pump. i will buy back only if i notice any pumping signs on the way.
