721  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Groupbuy] ASICMiner - Block Erupter Blades - Hosting and Managment - U.S.A on: May 13, 2013, 05:49:13 PM
(05/13/13) Today ASICMiner listed their BlockErupter blades (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=204030.0) for BTC49.99 (with volume discounts).   I am opening a GroupBuy for these blades with management fee (9%) and hosting.   I currently am hosting managing a number Avalon Batch #2 & #3 machines for myself and other clients.

Our phase to plan is to relocated the hosting operation from Seattle power rates to very cheap power rates in Eastern Washington.  Once we get enough commitments then the new space will be opened.  {url: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=186559.0}

Please send me a PM with a email I can contact you at and if you are interesting in purchasing some blades through this Groupbuy.  The amount you want to purchase would be helpful. Also if you just need hosting and management, contact me as well and indicate it.

Cheers,
Dalkore

726  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Will Avalon Batch 3 or raw ASIC Chips ship first? on: May 08, 2013, 04:33:53 AM
It would be a travesty if chips shipped first.   That would not be a good move on their part being that Batch 3 was ordered "before" the chips.   I very much doubt they would do that to their customers of Batch 3.

I contacted the seller and heard nothing back.   No seller feedback and jr. member.  Be cautious, please use escrow.

733  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: [ANN] Going to Bitcoin Conference 2013 (Rollcall & Hotel Choice) on: April 26, 2013, 05:54:23 PM
I'm trying to decide between this one and the one in Vienna. Any thoughts on which one will be a better choice?

Being that many of the companies are in the United States and you get a Yifu appearance of Avalon.  I would say this one will be fun.
Ok, done. I will be there Sat. and Sun. Staying at the Hilton.

Sweet.  Message me when you touch done.  We should meet up for a drink in the bar.

billionaires don't post on forums

He's not a billionaire yet!
There will never be a Bitcoin Billionaire.

I call on that statement.  I believe we will eventually have a Bitcoin Billionaire.
735  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: [ANN] Going to Bitcoin Conference 2013 (Rollcall & Hotel Choice) on: April 26, 2013, 01:12:44 PM
I'm hoping to come, depending on when my wife's surgery gets scheduled.  I'd also prefer to steer clear of the main hotels, but don't know San Jose very well.  Anyone know of a place that would take bitcoins?  Grin

Next best thing would be if a Bitcoiner who lives in San Jose would let me pay to stay at their house.  Keep it in the Bitcoin economy and all that Smiley .  I'm a pretty easy house guest.

p.s. Dalkore you should put "San Jose" in the Subject line (I'm afraid they dropped my mod status while I was away).

Done.  Thank you.   Let us know if you can make it.

That rig doesn't pencil.  Just do the math with the power requirements of 7,000/Kw.
740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMINER - 6GH/s FPGA and 250GH/s ASIC on: April 25, 2013, 04:02:45 PM
Okey, lets say that they ship the ASIC miner in early autumn, what difficult could we expect by that time?
What will the difficult increase be after all the BFLs and Avalons have shipped?

Difficulty will be much higher and we still have no proof that this is nothing more than vaporware.  I contacted them the day of the announcement and they assured we they would take no pre-order money before showing definitive proof of this product.
