721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why is the crypto market down day after day? on: March 06, 2018, 03:42:57 AM
Whenever I check coinmarketcap, everything is in red:

I don't see any FUD, why is this happening?

Well, what you are seeing is a normal occurrence. Everything is turning red right now and then on the next day everything will be green and then on the following day everything will be red once again, and so on and so forth. That is what the market is all about. The crypto market is a volatile market and we will be seeing ups and downs all the time. We cannot expect the lines to go straight sideways. That means the market is dead.

And please, leave the FUDs behind. They are not the determining factor of all the price movements.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: March 06, 2018, 03:02:28 AM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?

Yes, I will, and I am currently doing that. I encourage people to join the community and be part of the future. But I do not only encourage them to invest, I also encourage them to take the effort to use cryptocurrencies the way they are designed for. It is actually very easy to convince them that it is not a scam. The total market cap of crypto is along half a trillion USD. No scam can earn that big. That spells trust and stability and reliability to me.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES still a good bet? on: March 05, 2018, 07:23:39 AM
Hey guys,

I am wondering what's your opinion on WAVES? Looking at it the past weeks kind of makes me wondering if it is. Basically every Alt somehow got pumped pretty significantly. WAVES on the other hand somehow keeps pretty steady or looses value. Maybe it's just a wrong impression on my side, I would be just interested what's your take in its future Smiley

HODL your Waves. Do not worry about its price going down or staying steady. Monitor their team and you will know how these people are introducing their great project to all parts of the world. Waves is growing right now. I think Waves will finally come back at the $10 price within this month. This is highly expected. Waves has already reached more than $16 in the past and it will come back sooner. So you better keep them Waves.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you do bounty works for projects that are clearly scams? on: March 05, 2018, 06:43:30 AM
I see there are several projects that have been flagged by the community as clearly scams. For example, some used fake team members. However, I still see some who do bounty works or apply for airdrops. I think it partly comes from not knowing that it’s a scam. I am pretty sure I signed up for some scam airdrops through telegram groups without knowing it was a scam. Some might be just internal scammers doing it to make it look legit as well. What are your thoughts?

You know what the problem is? The problem is that majority of the people here are not doing their basic responsibilities before joining a certain bounty campaign. They sign up in a particular bounty not knowing the basic ideas and objectives, the team, the history, behind the project. They do not even care to visit the project's website and their ANN threads. How would you expect them to know that they are already promoting a scam?
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: waves on: March 04, 2018, 08:30:50 AM
reason why i believe in waves
1. very professional dev
2. strong community
3. the best Decentralized Exchange called DEX
4. Great Planned features see the detail below or in waves site (https://wavesplatform.com)
    - Smart contracts (non-turing)
       Hardware wallets, shapeshift
       Mobile apps update
       Decentralized voting
       Simple messaging
    - Atomic swap
       Voting (front-end)
    - Messaging, off-chain, front-end
    - Lite-client
       Turing complete smart contracts

so i believe this year will be the year of waves

I hope you are right in this. Waves has been performing great in the market but its price is still low as it should be. This means that waves is still a little bit undervalued as compared to what the project is offering to the market right now. The developers of the project are indeed very busy introducing Waves to all parts of the world and then announcing various updates. So far they have been earning the trust of several followers and investors. I hope the year will be a bigger one to their project.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: March 03, 2018, 11:19:21 AM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

Exactly! The problem is that this forum is full of people who know much lesser than the minimum knowledge in order for them to be able to relate with how a certain project works. They are the ones who are very noisy when it comes to bounty payments. These are the same people who always ask about when to moon and want everything to go high in price at an instant. They are the people who are not even thinking of doing some little due diligence. They are also the spammers and the dumpers.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: spreading of Bitcoin on: March 03, 2018, 10:31:05 AM
I am curious about bitcoin, because until today bitcoin still exist. even its value, makes bitcoin become crypto king. what is the secret behind bitcoin success ?and if spreading of bitcoin can be stopped, who is the most benefited and disadvantaged ?

There is no secret actually. Everything can easily be traced to something in the open world. Bitcoin and its history are not as secret as you may imply. Everything can be read and seen and observed. When Bitcoin started, the value was very small. But then as soon as people started to learn more about it, they got instantly interested. This became the effect also to the people they talked to about Bitcoin. And then everything spread widely. The value of Bitcoin started to grow big as the number of joiners also grow.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2018, 11:10:55 AM
With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?

You are one person who easily reacts to the market movement. Bitcoin has just started to creep up once again and here you are already thinking of selling your Bitcoins immediately? This is one indication that you might also be selling if the market is plunging hard. You have to consider that the highest price of Bitcoin is around $20,000. That is almost half of the price of Bitcoin right at this very moment. There is no point therefore that you will sell your investment as early as now. This is not just a spike. This is the beginning of Bitcoin's recovery.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: March 02, 2018, 10:17:19 AM
This is one of the most common regret we have here in the world of crypto. And it is not only Verge (XVG) that performed such huge growth after some time of wallowing in the low level value. We all know that all the altcoins that are already very expensive right now started with their prices very cheap. Ethereum (ETH) was very cheap back then. Monero (XMR) was also very cheap before. So was Litecoin (LTC). Even Bitcoin (BTC) itself was very cheap back then, almost worthless even. If people learned to HODL before, there would be no regrets like this.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2018, 11:42:41 AM
Both have gotten my attention. I am truly awed by the way Bitcoin is offering something that is for me radical enough to gain a strong support from the people who are not anymore happy with the way things are being managed. But at the same time, I am also drawn into Bitcoin because of how fast its value is gaining speed and acceleration. It is really amazing how it multiplied its value several times for so quick a time.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: March 01, 2018, 07:44:14 AM
As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.

$15,000 was one of the highest predictions of the price of Bitcoin by the end of 2017. Some predictions are much lesser than that. In fact, mine was only around $10,000 or a little more. But the growth was shockingly higher than the predictions, almost all predictions actually. And this is the reason why the correction was a bit worse than the usual. There were FUDs spread at the same time. All these caused the hard fall of Bitcoin's value. And then the panic sellers also joined the causes of the fall. Anyhow, there is no reason to sell. Hodling will give us more profit than selling early.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: February 28, 2018, 10:52:48 AM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...

Try to ride in both trains. I do not want to miss any of the two biggest cryptocurrencies at the present age. We all know that Bitcoin is the ruling king in the kingdom of cryptocurrencies right now and so you should never allow that you do not have any Bitcoin in your portfolio. Ethereum comes second, so I guess it is also a must in your list. And we know that both are expected to break new records within months from now. Do not just all in with a single coin.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: February 27, 2018, 01:07:04 PM
Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?

Go for it. There is no problem jumping into the Ethereum bandwagon right now as the price is still below the all time high it previously reached. The all time high of Ethereum was around $1,400 so there is still more than $500 that it needs to recover. It is impossible that Ethereum will not be able to recover such all time high record. But make sure that your investment in Ethereum is for long term or at least moderate like 6 months so that are assured of a good profit in the end.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasonable return on investment 12-18 months? on: February 27, 2018, 09:09:01 AM
What would you consider a reasonable return on your investment after 12 to 18 months (your investment is locked for 18 months with no access to it)? Minimum investment would be $500...

Depending on the coins. I guess, your investment will give you not less than x5 or x7 growth in 12 to 18 months time. That is a very reasonable target already. Let us say you invested in Waves right now. The price of Waves is still $6 plus but the all time high of this coin was more than $20. So when Waves will once again reach that all time high within March to May, your investment has already made more than x3 growth. And then you still have several months left. There is still more money to make with your investment. Just carefully choose the best coins.
735  Other / Off-topic / Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ?? on: February 27, 2018, 08:22:12 AM
in this month whether bitcoin will reach the highest price?

Not yet. February is about to end. We are now a day shy before this month will finally approach on its final day. We are not going to see Bitcoin reaching the highest price within the month. Such movement will be some sort of a miraculous pumping movement. In other words, this is not going to happen. Perhaps we should give another month for Bitcoin to break its last highest price. That is enough for Bitcoin to gain back what it had lost in the dumping days.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: February 27, 2018, 07:32:50 AM
Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 10 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"

This is another man who knows just a tiny bit about Bitcoin and yet has the gall to spread FUD. This is nothing but a thread to start spreading a negative image of Bitcoin. But the responses here show that they do not agree. Well, who will agree to someone who is so ignorant about Bitcoin? First, there are so many countries that are very much supportive of Bitcoin. Second, Warren Buffet has been proven wrong about Bitcoin. Bitcoin will of course end, but it will happen way after Warren Buffet is gone.
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: February 26, 2018, 10:16:25 AM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

The perfect recipe to many of us here who are not so much gifted in terms of setting buy and sell targets is really patience and hodling. Some of us who are trying hard to become great crypto traders are sometimes falling into the trap and ended up gaining very little or are forced to buy back their coins with a much more expensive price. So the better option is to stick to hodling if you are still studying crypto trading.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: February 26, 2018, 09:04:55 AM
Hi guys , Some of my friends are give me some ideas about Trading and Investing.

But i've some doubt which is better in that. What is the advantage and disadvantage? Because I want to focus on one at a time for generating source of income coz my funds are limited.

Can you give some of your useful ideas? I'm a begginer. I need some help. Thank you!

The perfect choice is to get involved in both crypto trading and investing. But since you are only asking for a single choice, I will recommend you investing. That is the safest choice for a beginner like you. Crypto trading is good but it takes a lot of effort to acquire the necessary skills. Investing is pretty much simple and also very profitable if you have it long term. Just be patient and hodl your coins for at least a year, and you are already good to harvest some gains.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple founder has sold all his Bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 01:06:35 PM
Apple's co-founder Steve Wozniak confirms he has sold all his Bitcoin.

See the full part here: https://www.investopedia.com/news/steve-wozniak-has-sold-his-bitcoin/

As I have said several times, all the whales are getting out. They know the party is over.

I don't know whether this article is reliable or just another instrument to spread more FUDs against Bitcoin. And please, if indeed this is true, do not immediately jump into a generalization which is nothing but hasty. If someone sells all his Bitcoins, do not say all the whales are getting out. That is not the way the event happened in real life. This certain individual sold all his Bitcoins. He must have some personal reasons for doing so. But he is all alone on that. Give us the names of the other whales you know and some proofs that they are also dumping their Bitcoins and perhaps I might also do the same.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: February 25, 2018, 12:38:24 PM
Bounty participants should learn to do this. Most of the time, the majority of the bounty participants are very eager to sell their coins the moment they are deposited to their Ethereum wallets. This is not good both to the campaign they are participating and to themselves. This is primarily the reason why there is a dump in price of tokens once they get listed in exchanges. And this will cause the coin to go down below ICO price. If only bounty hunters learn how to hodl for a while, they could gain much bigger amount.
