I suggest to hold your bitcoin. Save all your bitcoins into your wallet and do not make any transactions. After that often read the news about bitcoin, if conditions have improved you can do the transaction. Not all altcoins are a bad investment. Probably many altcoins are not long-lived and tend to be scam, but there are some altcoins (like eth, lite, etc.) that have a future and are profitable. And finally, Litecoin is also one of my favorites since transactions settle very quickly, as well as it has adopted SegWit which makes it better than ever to handle more transaction load and enable the possibility for faster transactions with the activation of the Lightning Network. Nevertheless, I would like to hear your thoughts about your favorite cryptocurrency.  My favorite Crypto is bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin is a compulsory option for me because this is the main crypto and has profitable fluctuations. Bitcoin prices are also always up and this can be used for long-term investments. So bitcoin deserves to be the favorite crypto. Ethereum also has a promising future, and as you say Ethereum brings a new concept. Blockchain Ethereum also allows for smart contracts and Dapps. |

At present it is not a good idea to invest in Ethereum because price is continuously fluctuating so its better to wait for some time. but overall Ethereum is a good investment in long term because in future ETH blockcahin will be used by many countries for transactions. If want to invest in Ethereum maybe now is the right time because the price is still down, and this can be used to buy. Or maybe wait for Ethereum to go down a few more then buy. But you are right for a long term investment Ethereum is very good and profitable. Although it is actually in the crypto market Ethereum is not really the best investment (because I think bitcoin is the best investment) but in altcoin it is indeed the best investment. |

I guess altcoins can be used only for trading your bitcoin, ether and fiat currency. Like bitcoin altcoin cant buy you stuff from the internet or any offline services like those provided by bitpay as payment processor. Altcoin has value way below bitcoin and usually it can be hold on the exchangers or in the form of tokens.
So my prediction is altcoin have future but it is limited to exchangers and trading platform which is being done currently to get quick profits.
Yes indeed many altcoin that can only be used in a limited way. Maybe I agree if altcoin in the future is limited to exchange and trade. But Ethereum has the potential to be widely used and not just for exchange or trade. Ethereum software also creates a way to create an online market and programmable transactions known as "smart contracts", I'm sure Ethereum has the potential to be used to buy goods online and offline. Besides Ethereum I do not see any other altcoin that has this potential. |

I think crypto will not make real money disappear. Currently the government is still managing real money and still in large numbers, so real money is still used by many people. At least in the 10 - 20 years the real money will still continue to be used in large numbers. I agree with you, it is natural that ICO is very risky because of the big risks that must exist if investing there. SkinCoin ICO' Status as I look in ICOtracker.net. More than 1k btc has been collected in the ICO. Very Successful indeed, many investors more to come..  This is already a huge success for SKINCOIN! With the eSports gambling industry being very large, there's a lot more to come and I won't be surprised if they reach their ICO target sales in within the 21st of July. Yeah right, hopefully all sales targets can be achieved. Currently still 40% and hopefully later on can reach 70% - 90% or even be 100%. Indeed, eSport gambling has grown well lately, and later on there will still be many investors coming. Currently the price of bitcoin and some altcoin is declining, as far as I know if the price drop is good to buy.
