721  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: November 26, 2016, 07:58:21 AM
I get what you mean. Bitcoin can become a lot more profitable than it is right now, so why should we sell it? But there is a problem here. If we don't sell btc we don't really use them, right? Because when you buy smth for btc then you sort of sell btc and take that other thing. And in this situation btc is to become self-sufficient value. But why should we have monwy we don't spend? It just leads to nothing.
Remember that you will only have a chance to make profit when you sell so there's no reason why not sell it. We hold in the future but it should have a definite time and that is part of our investment plan. We have to follow that no matter what.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 26, 2016, 07:53:12 AM
It is basically happening because of for me there would be one primary reason  for that and i think that it is a strategic game. It may involve the bitcoin fluctuation for example someone believes that the price would go down or go up so that certain user would surely take an action.
I think the purpose is make people or users into a panic so they sell their bitcoin when prices fall, there are two things they want, to lower prices or bitcoin be dead ?
but I think for the future, this specualtion will not be much of a problem, because there are a lot of users and it will be difficult for them

Yup, Obviously as i have said. People try to play a strategic game that causes other people to have panic and of course try to benefit from it in the end then probably would going to rest for some time. Waiting for bitcoin price to recover and they do feel that it is enough then put on the gameplay all over.
That's normal when there's money at stake, whales will help create panic so people will sell at a very low price giving them the advantage to buy. Honestly, its not a problem for the believers as they play with it and buy cheap bitcoins.

Obviously bitcoins are not "dead" if they were, than their price would reflect that. I don't think whales want to buy any more coins because I think they will run into the issue of flooding the market if they try to sell their positions.
The price would tell that bitcoin is not dead and it's even becoming bigger and bigger in terms of adoption that will create demand. Maybe in the past it died but it's a different story now, it's more progressive and it gains enough trust by the people.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 26, 2016, 07:49:27 AM
Investments are the best thing you could do to your asset if you are smart enough and have the time to learn the markets if not do not bother to invest your money be it in digital market or the real market,if you are planning to risk your money study the market carefully.
We have to upgrade to that level if we want to have a good future, we can't play safe in this world, those people who are rich already have tried their luck investing their money and when you invest you take the risk.

Therefore, it's important to invest you capacity and how much are you willing to lose.

I agree, we need to face those risk.  As they say, greater rewards have greater risk.  Saving money have risk itself.  The depreciation of money means in time you use your savings, it will have lesser value.  So smart people think of way on how to outweigh that deminished value and they come up to investing to solve it.
In investment there are still risk but it's lower, so smart people as you said must choose the lower risk and with bigger reward.
It will always depend on the type of investment you are going. There a lot of investment in this world but it's only in the eyes of the investor to tell what investment does fit his passion and interest.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 26, 2016, 07:46:45 AM
In my perspective gambling should be considered as a sickness. It is a sickness when it becomes an addiction. Addiction is considered an illness in medical world. Even if it is not considered sickness, in my opinion I will still label as that. So when you have problem on gambling like addiction better to cure it as soon as possible seek for an adviser to help you. It is really hard if the disease spread on your mind if that will happen it can't be cured. You will always thinking about gambling everyday on your life, that is though action if you will continue to gamble.
I think gambling can only be  consider as sickness if you are  playing it in a wrong way and continuously losing money which may start affecting your personal and social life also then gambling can be consider as sickness, but if you are playing it in a right way then it will be a good way of entertainment.

So tell us, what's the right way to do play gambling? Roll Eyes There's not any, right? We will all inevitably lose our money in gambling if we do not stop. You said that gambling can only be considered if you're losing money. How about those people that have turned into a maniac because they continuously win in gambling? They keep on betting because they're lucky in gambling. That makes them addicted to it. With your logic, gambling addicts can't be considered as sick when they're winning. Sickness isn't about winning or losing, it's about the addiction itself.
Agree with this, addiction on gambling is the main thing thats why we can call it as a sickness because if you already got hooked into gambling addiction its really hard to stay away from it and for sure you will do anything as long you could able to play and with this addiction you will surely end up on a miserable life thats why we should be aware on this sickness. Gambling is just a game and we should not devote too much our selves into it.
You are only called sick when you cannot control  your addiction, it does not bring good to you nor give your entertainment anymore. The word addiction is something negative that is worse than drug addiction as in gambling you can lose all your money.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: November 26, 2016, 07:40:39 AM
I don't know if it's luck or fate or the stars align but we all go through phases when one seems stoppable, entering a zone like in many sports where you can do no wrong. I think this also applies to gambling, sometimes you are just so focused and calling all shots and making all the right decisions that you think you are god. That's when you lose all your money haha!

Gambling is for entertainment purposes only and it's awesome at that, but if you want to make it something else you are gonna cry. Bet what you can afford to lose and have some fun.
but to me gambling is not for entertainment purpose, to me gambling is for making money only, as to me there is no entertainment in gambling if no money is involve there, and you can enjoy gambling in one case and that is that if you are making money in gambling and if you are losing money then you cannot enjoy gambling.
maybe we have different opinion about gambling because for me also gambling is for entertainment only and just to have some fun activity. im not such a high profile gambler im just an ordinary person who just like to have fun when stressed in work. my wife and i currently gambling in our house and were having such a good bonding with that.
Doing gambling isnt bad after all as long you didnt compromise your money on doing it. Its a very rare situation on where you do both gambling together with your wife.I hope i could do the same thing too especially on vacant times. Winning on gambling does really rely on luck in able for you to win.

Gambling is not really a bad thing because its just built for entertainment but theres a money involve when you try to play with it. Gambling thus really need luck in able to win because if you don't have it you will eventually lose up.We should really use  extra money on doing gambling so that we wont be broke in the end because playing  for longer  times on gambling is not a good idea because most of players will surely lose.
At least someone defended gambling, it's not a bad thing but it attracts people to be addicted. I hope, they will have to be strict with the gamblers and only allow those who are responsible enough but it's not their function. In crypto, everyone is welcome as gambling sites are making good money on it.
726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: November 26, 2016, 07:36:26 AM
1,000 satoshis are enough for some traders to make profits and some people lose their money even in the scale of 1 to 10 bitcoins, yes don’t get surprised. A trader is a person who analyzes the market condition and trade according to it. You should invest your time first in order to start the trade instead of putting money first. Gain experience with small amount trades and then eventually increase your capital. You can start trade with any amount you wish, good luck.
Starting on small amounts would be the ideal move when you do tend to engage trading for the first time because if you decided to put up directly huge amounts, for sure that money will be gone in an gradual way.Knowledge and experience would be the key to be successful on trading and we all know that its not an easy thing because doing trading is not just buying low selling high thing. It requires analysis and experience which you could able to gain when you are trading up for a matter of time.
Every trader must start from small amount to ensure the lessen or loses, you will be gambling if you start with a bigger amount as you do not have the right experience and knowledge that will give you more chance of success in the future.
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 26, 2016, 07:31:16 AM
Cash is easy to steal weather from your pocket or your bank account but bitcoin on the other hand has no potential way of being stolen, has more value easy to use and wallets don't charge you anything when sending or receiving bitcoin unlike the regular bank accounts that force you to pay a portion of your hard earned money

I agree with this thing, but one thing is bitcoin  can be stolen by those greedy people and very oriented on stealing using internet . Any thing can be easily stealable through Internet.

if your account/wallet doesn't have a maximum security and you tend to open an unknown website and installing some software to your mobile or pc then you are more likely to get hacked. most of the hackers are using phishing or even Keylogger in order to get your account information especially your log in ID and password. and that's why there is a so called 2FA.
It's necessary and not only advance users are using 2FA as it's our responsibility to protect our investment, we need to keep ourselves abreast with the latest security information so we can update our wallet as well with the greatest security to avoid losing our money.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: November 26, 2016, 07:27:16 AM
There have been people who are rich from gambling. However if we consider the percentage of broke people and rich people from gambling then the percentage of broke people is much higher, in other words the casinos make more profits.

However many people are lucky to win jackpots but that is just pure luck and no one can be responsible for that.

That's obvious, the losing is always many folds more than winning not only on dice and roulette but in every gambling. Not all the time the casino profits from players since each time you lose, someone might be winning.

When it comes to people who win jackpot, well, I think only few people win it. Getting rich from gambling is not a good way and not advisable since the result of every bet is unpredictable.
That's why I minimize my gambling activity as I do not have a good experience in gambling, all I have is the losing of my hard earned money and I slowly lose my appetite in gambling I would rather use my money to buy the things I want or save it than to gamble.
729  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 26, 2016, 07:23:07 AM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?

Usd is a universal currency . It is known and respected in every country while bitcoin is in dwveloping currency the userd where increasing in numbers but it will not absud or be over in bitcoin. It is only use now for trading online not like usd in everyday life.
USD will be used on everyday life only in the United States. even you said every country respected USD but they still use their own local currencies rather than USD and just mainly use USD when importing stuff from other country or even when they're buying stuff on sites like ebay or amazon

All countries also rely on USD currency. It's uses by my countries as a standard to get the value of countries local currency. It's physically used buy people who lives in US, but in other countries they also using it everyday for trading - stocks and exchange, etc.
Actually, now that a lot of other countries have started to grow, economically speaking, and the US is losing its absolute grip on the economies of the world, more countries are branching out and are looking to get out of the USD trade. Right now China is making deals with other countries outside of the USD in the Yuan, and its probably a good step, in its own right. A good shakeup for the USD is something that they probably need.
Under the situation, they need bitcoin to avoid losing their money. In every fall of the economy of a country it's fiat are depreciate it's value and that is one of the reason why they will have to put their money with bitcoin which will result to demand that creates good price.

Bitcoin can certainly help an investor whether what place we are living, we just have to be smart.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 26, 2016, 07:06:35 AM
Warriors Vs Lakers

I am going for Warriors to clear their -13 handicap after seeing them blowout the Lakers on Wednesday night. Rusell, one of Lakers key players, is missing from their team and Warriors will definitely outscore Lakers with their strong offense. The venue will not be much of a deal if Lakers key player is missing. I predict Warriors winning margin will be closer but it will definitely be more than 20 points.
Okay then, I guess I have to expect that most betters are on the warriors on this one. They think it's going to be another blowout, the line is just right but there's too much money for the warriors in this game. I don't like it, I think I'll stay away in this one.

Portland Blazers vs New Orleans Pelicans - Blazers need a win and they are playing at home, seems a good bet but I like the NOP plus points, they have been playing great games so far.
i also not comfortable with gsw handicap lakers already defeat them and blow out might not happen again, let see maybe its much better to bet
with houston since they are playing good even kings for sure will be hard to defeat.
They just beat the lakers and covered, we must be comfortable now. Another losing day for me, seems like this NBA is making me poorer everyday. Anyway, it's just a game and we are in gambling so I have to accept and move on. I need a day off..
731  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: November 26, 2016, 06:53:13 AM
technological developments happen so quickly, if bitcoin able to survive in recent years, and is recognized by many countries, most likely in 2022, everyone has been using bitcoin. Well, maybe so many aspects of the use of bitcoin on the field of trade and investment, and that certainly bitcoin will be used as a valid transaction

If you are talking about "everyone" as people who are using internet maybe there is a possibility but if you are talking about everyone as in everyone then I think we are dreaming here.  Even if the technology updates or upgrades too fast, there is always someone who is lagging behind.  I say it is a dream because not every one will have access to the internet.  Yes, I am talking about ethnic tribes and rural areas of developing country.
Everyone means a lot, I guess all of us. Nah, can't be possible, not all people has the knowledge to adopt.
Maybe he was trying to say is that majority of the people will adopt with bitcoin in 2020? What the hell, how was that possible, we ain't making miracles here, we have to wait for the future and let's take it slow but steady.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 26, 2016, 06:48:00 AM
You can give Bitcoin to homeless people now.
It looks like even they started using it.:-)
Look at below
https://imgur.com/gallery/Y2eRs

Looks like the guy got some donations, just checked his address here: https://blockchain.info/address/1Gwga1P9mLkK54PhRTpK5t39PaqMkZVz23
Or was he using bitcoins before and that balance he accumulated from somewhere else?
By the way, maybe not all homeless know about bitcoin but just he does.

lmao . it seems like he obtained many donation cause he already got 13 transactions but probably that was the previous transactions he made before he did that thing you saw on the picture and probably he is not really a homeless person but i don't know i cannot assure Grin
This is pretty cute, this homeless person has made an innovative way of begging. He must not have more competitors in the area, more payment option more donations to come. LOL Grin
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 26, 2016, 06:28:01 AM
Those who are engaging on illegal activities by the use of bitcoin they are just putting themselves in danger. Bitcoin will having a negative mark regarding that once their government knows about it and for sure it is highly possible to ban btc in their country by the government.

Physical cash is the most common medium for purchasing hard drugs, firearms and other contraband in many of the countries. Did that lead to the banning of physical cash by the governments?

Physical cash is the one that has got acceptance among most of the services. But now most of the advancing users prefer bitcoin, because of its high security than fiat. Few months back a team of hackers collapsed entire management operations of a hospital and demanded pay in terms of bitcoin to resolve it. So based upon the users need and accessibility they choose fiat and bitcoin for illegal activities.
On advanced users bitcoins will surely in demand but for traditional ways fiat will be considered still. Thats not always the case because using such situations doesnt mean it will increase the awareness into bitcoin even they demanded for bitcoin payments but we could really say that bitcoin could be used on illegal activities and asking it to anybody doesnt inlcude.
No question with that as there are still people who only live a simple life, they do not care about bitcoin what they want is just to survive. have food on daily basis and they are contented, most of the users of bitcoin are business minded and only few of the people have that kind of thinking as most of us are consumers.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 26, 2016, 06:09:47 AM
im not buying or using drugs but i just want to share my thought about this. anyway, some people may use bitcoin in buying drugs or any illegal activities. this is because using bitcoin as a payment will not require you to divulge your real identity. thats is why some prefer to use bitcoin in dealing with illegal acts.
Of course because we are in illegal transaction, but you cannot hide that longer, if the government will exert more effort to go after criminals, they can find us even if we are using bitcoin. It's not bitcoin alone are being sure as monero is also popular in dark market.
735  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: November 26, 2016, 06:04:30 AM
It is difficult to even know the amount of human population using bitcoin right now let alone in 2020, personally I don't think we are going to see a great and sudden amount of people adopting bitcoin so I think 0% to 2% is about right.

Indeed, if we want to think of adoption then the numbers will be far, far less. Simply opening a wallet and storing some faucet satoshis as a casual user already qualifies you as owning bitcoin.

But to adopt?
I agree, it's a different thing about adoption as that person who adopted will use bitcoin at any purpose he can do. But there are new to crypto and very curious and open wallet and then just leave it their, nothing will happen.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 25, 2016, 01:30:20 PM
I would say it is better to save because you never know when this ride will end.
I have experienced it with some alt coins and they die so quickly that you need to move on.
But bitcoin seems to the one that will always be there in the end.
My investments in the alt trading life made me more aware of saving instead of spending.
Not all investment is profitable, some of them will just leave you unsuccessful if you didn't manage it correctly. Good thing you have learned from your experience and realize the value of money and that is really important. Alt coins are being made just to support bitcoin.
Thats why its very important to study first and gain information before you invest. There are a lot of techniques day traders use that works for them so investing is less of a gamble. Although saving also should  come hand in hand with investing as there really is no guarantee in investments although we can better the chances by preparations
Investment is a serious venture as it requires to put our money at risk, we do have a chance if we are investing in such investment where we think we have full knowledge but  it does not guarantee success, we do not know the future so we need to adjust along the way.
737  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: November 25, 2016, 01:18:47 PM
Yes I still believe in the bitcoin because it has a great future and will go to a higher amount without any doubts.
It will stay here for most of the time in my eyes.
I think if you bitcoin investor and you do not believe in bitcoin, I think it will only harm you, because bitcoin prices fluctuate, if you do not believe in bitcoin, surely you will always panic when the price falls,
We believe but our faith is not that strong, we will be tested really if we are an investor because the price of bitcoin does not only move in one direction. Sometimes it pump and sometimes it dumps, but what matters to us is the future.
738  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 25, 2016, 01:11:59 PM
I did not dream to get rich, but I want to dream and to be successful in the future. with whatever it is where the true path. bitcoin is only one way and one of its parts to success because bitcoin to now be able to help me in my everyday needs, and I hope in the future I can success with many ways.
yeah I also have many ways to become rich or successful, bitcoin is not the only way to get rich, but I'm sure bitcoin can help in achieving the goal, so I'm working hard to get lots of bitcoin and work elsewhere

And now the only way to make money for me to trade Bitcoins. I do not use the word "get rich", because my income is very small
Well, you have to dream to become rich, that's should be your goal so time will come you will take your trading in a more serious level. We need to be ambition enough as in crypto world there's no limit here.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 25, 2016, 01:06:08 PM
From the first I did not like to put their money and assets in one place, I'd be for that person's opinion though not lucrative, bitcoin is very good made investments, but I'm not going to put my money only in the bitcoin, maybe in 5 place: land, property, vehicles, gold, and bitcoin.
yeah it is a good plan, but what if gains in bitcoin will provide greater prospects? it would be very unfortunate if you use capital for other investments right ?
I would invest in bitcoin only, because its more profitable

Worst advice ever.

Why would you invest all your capital in one of the highest risk investments?

Yeah bitcoin is risky so we should be careful in our decision, for me its fine to try your luck by investing in btc but not all your capital. id rather invest the half of it in gold, though it will take time to gain something but if you wait you will see the progress in value of gold in the future.
Where in the world will you find an investment that has no risk, all investment has risk but it's your duty on how to minimize the risk while maximizing your chances of being successful. We dream big so we need to take the risk.
740  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: November 25, 2016, 12:57:56 PM
What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?
Bitcoin will be good in our economy who knows that bitcoin will be more popular after 5 years because of a new president in US it will be more popular because it will be choosen by people are trying to get some business with bitcoin and it will be use as physical money too to use offline store.
no one knows about the future of bitcoin, but bitcoin see the development from year to year where bitcoin is growing very rapidly, I'm sure a few more years bitcoin will become popular, it may be adopted in various countries? who know?

Ya it is sure now just see after the demonetization of currency in india have made so much difference on bitcoin that the price of bitcoin in international market and in localbitcoins exchange is 20% higher selling and buying it.
They somehow help the ecosystem of bitcoin, with their adoption they are leading as an example for other countries to trust bitcoin. They have to be open minded enough that bitcoin is an investment and it grows its value overtime. Never save cash as you investment.
