721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 16, 2020, 01:55:56 AM
In my opinion, this will takes time that bitcoin to be accepted globally. We already observe this that some people doesn't know this cryptocurrency and even other countries prohibit the use of bitcoin. It's been discussed before the acceptance of the cryptocurrency and only we can do hope there will be an massive adoption on bitcoin to be happen in the future.

As you said, it takes time.

I don't think this will be a matter of knowledge or being a literate when it comes to technology but I think if a country is already a place where people could embrace new technologies easily, Bitcoin might be easily adopted. Most of the countries that are using Bitcoin are those with people used to technologies, that could support that way of transactions that just means that as long as there are countries that are struggling to support such technologies, I think it would take longer to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: September 16, 2020, 01:02:03 AM
At first, I thought it is hard but as time goes, it is not actually.

If you are really willing to learn what it is, it is not that hard, to be honest. With a lot of people supporting it online, you can find a lot and a wide variety of information on the internet. Either way, if you just wanted to use it it is not that hard but if you wanted to know a lot of things about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well, you need to read.
723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: September 16, 2020, 12:20:39 AM
OP's advice is great especially for beginners who have to apply it because they don't have good trading experience and knowledge yet and it is good advice.
In trading patience is the main role to produce good results, analysis and a strong conscience will make choices and not give up if you fail or go wrong because that will be a lesson that will pay off because it will make you a great trader.

I think being knowledgeable is also important.

I am not saying to be knowledgeable about trading but to be knowledgeable about what you will doing. Trading is not something that would give you a profit 100%, and despite the patience you have if you don't know what you're waiting that would be useless. You should know what you are doing and what is you're goal in investing and trading.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: September 13, 2020, 10:13:50 AM
Bitcointalk, the perfect website for learning about trading as well as the source of gaining knowledge about crypto currency. There are many thread already created on this trading discussion sector. You can check those for know about trading and ask about trade related question here if need. You can a google search if you need other website to know more

I think it is better to learn here in the forum than doing some google searches.

I guess you could learn the basics in trading when you do google searches but in the long run, I think it is better for you to follow a thread here in the forum especially if it is about cryptocurrencies since most of the people here are experienced to the movements of the price. But the best of them is the knowledge you get while you get through.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Remote Working and Inequality on: September 13, 2020, 08:47:13 AM
Many organization put some technology on ground during this pandemic to control their workers to enable them to gain more profit from the customers.

I wouldn't call it like that.

This pandemic made a lot of people unemployed, it is true that they continue their jobs despite what's happening but it is not just for the owners or getting more profits from the customers but it is also for the good of the workers and also for the good of the economy of the country. Most of us though are working from home and I wouldn't call it technology on ground.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: September 13, 2020, 07:38:51 AM
If every individual unites into a community working together for the common good, there will not be a cry of hunger. a centrally controlled system will have no effect if all the individuals working together will become strong communal.

That would be really beautiful.

But let's be honest, with what is happening right now, I don't think all of the people would be accepting that way. Usually, if a family could just live by themselves, they won't bother helping others because the most important for them is to save themselves. If other poeple are struggling to get some food, it is not their problem.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 13, 2020, 05:46:01 AM
I don't think underage players from eSports are trying to play gambling. They were just there to play online games that they like but for some players who do know what is gambling and does know how to play must be stop from playing if he's just gambling. We all know how dangerous gambling games is in the long run.

I think that is the worst there.

For them, they are just having fun, they are just trying to get stickers, skins, guns, heroes, or whatever that could make them the game interesting for them but what they don't know is that they are already gambling. I think that could mainly affect these children and might influence them to do gambling since they are used to taking these risks buying loot boxes.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 13, 2020, 03:26:26 AM
I think this is the matter of social gathering rather than the spider betting itself.

Unless gambling is banned in your place, I don't think spider betting is that bad. As a kid, we've been doing that for years and we don't have a problem with that to the authorities. The barangay captain of our place even joins with our fun by cheering with us. It is just we are hard-headed and loves letting these spiders fight, that is just it.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 13, 2020, 01:29:05 AM
Obviously that doesn't mean anything, they still have to beat Clippers probably and also whoever they face from east, I feel like west will be even harder, because whoever they face from east they will probably beat, clippers or lakers whoever goes to finals they will certainly have an easier match up in the finals, those teams are just too young to actually go against these elite vet teams.

I agree that East seems to be younger bunch than the West players.

Antetokounmpo is just 25, but since they lost, we have Herro which is the youngest player to ever play in a CF, theres also Tatum, Adebayo, Brown, all in all these teams are young in comparison to maybe just Lakers' players. Still, that is just their advantage, despite their ages they've done well and they've shown how great they are.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2020, 11:24:33 AM
People are different than one another and most of the seniour citizens do not want to learn new things like that. So,Here is a suggestion, let not try to make them understand about the bitcoin.Just increase their curiosity,Sending the link with an attached thumbnail like, earn money at online Or something  that they are interested. It will help you probably to understand them about the bitcoin.

They are old.

I don't think they would be attracted to something that would earn themselves money. Remember, most of these people have their money out of retirement and they are just having fun with what they can do in their house or with their family. I think it would interest them if we could make them understand the convinience they'll have using it, if they are gambling we can interest them to use it in an online casino, something like that.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: September 12, 2020, 10:36:18 AM
You are certainly very right! But if bitcoin is low in value, it won't be as successful as it is now, and it won't have that value. All the hype is raised by those who are very beneficial to the rise in the price of bitcoin. This means that they have a lot of coins and they earn even more.

We are all beneficial to the price increase.

That also means that we are also making ways to increase the price of Bitcoin because we unite on what to do when the price dropped, we reinvest. Most of the people here reinvest on Bitcoin whenever the price dropped, that is the reason why even if it falls so low, it will just spring right back up. That is the reason why despite the falls it did, it will just keep on going up.
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: If market crashes, BTC will crash twice as hard. on: September 12, 2020, 09:23:11 AM
Bitcoin crashing twice is always an opportunity to buy low and I see the two face of the market state as an opportunity and not a condition. Many traders are losing money because of the over holding and I think it is better we take what ever gain we have made from this latest bull run.

So true.

If the market crash I don't think it is that hard on Bitcoin but all I know is that it is also affected and if it does, I don't think people would worry as most of them would take this as an opportunity to reinvest. Bitcoin may fall hard in certain times but time would come when it would just go back to its good price and might go to surprising ones.
733  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction by 2021 on: September 12, 2020, 07:10:38 AM
People all talk about how 2021 suppose to be better because of halving but we are not talking about how great we are right now anyway.

I think that is because people remember what happened in the last halving before this year. The price after halving can increase and touch the new ATH after they wait for a long time. It makes them think that this year, the price will rise higher after the halving moment, creating a new ATH.

It is normal if they think and hopes like that because we all waiting for almost more than 2 years to see the price increase. However, we need to wait for more and have more patience. And if the time comes, we will see how high the bitcoin price will increase.

Some of my friends think like that.

Eversince it dipped and did not make a new ATH every december, all they waited was the halving thinking that it will create a great price pump so they invested at every dumps. All I can say to them right now is that the price of Bitcoin is not that low compared in the past and with new resistances showing, all they can do is take advantage of the movements they can take advantage and make use of other cryptocurrencies around. As you said, all we can do now is wait since we all know it will just go back there after some time.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 12, 2020, 05:20:24 AM
In this pandemic outbreaks, world has been facing serious problems in all the sectors and maximum counties can't overcome it till now. World need a push to overcome and back to the pavilion like before. People's mind still not feel good as like before. So motivation can be worked to back again and get inspired.

And that is why we are humans.

We push ourselves for the better and we should not just do it by ourselves because, without other people, we can't do that. I am not saying that we should also push them but what I am saying is that while we raise ourselves slowly, we should motivate them in order for themselves to do the same. I know that not all of us are like that but it could help people and would also create good results in the future.
735  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's time to destroy China, don't buy anything from them ,don't deal with them on: September 12, 2020, 03:59:32 AM
Instead of destroying China due to different rumors about them I think it is better to just solve first the pandemic. I think it is a bigger concern and must be prioritized. China is successful now because they beat the virus. They find solutions to this problem and set aside not that important things. So if they can beat the virus, so we also can do the same thing. Let this be an example, a motivation. Plan of destroying China will cause misunderstanding that may only lead to war. If we @Spy100 leave in the same country, we both know that our country is impossible to beat China

It is not that easy.

This is what they always say, it is easier to say than being done. It is true that the government should really focus on the pandemic but at the same time they should not be so strict with it since focussing on the pandemic means strict protocols, that means people staying in their houses for a longer time and that also means less employment in the country which could affect the economy especially those people without jobs during this pandemic. It will be harder since as unemployment increases, crime would also increase. Pandemic and Crime is a bad combination.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 12, 2020, 01:33:50 AM
We really have to be able to limit ourselves when playing gambling, because if we can control ourselves when playing gambling,
it will prevent us from becoming addicted. And don't think of gambling as a source of income, it will create pressure against
ourselves to always be able to win. And without realizing it will make us greedy and in the end can make us lose all the coins
we have. Always be careful when playing gambling, because gambling is an activity that has a high risk.

Self-control for me is enough.

Being in control of yourself means that you can do things that might be risky for other people but would not let you fall under situations that would danger yourself or addicting yourself in such. You will never look at gambling as a source of income , you will never lose track of your losses and despite you gambling frequently, you will never be addicted to it.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 11, 2020, 11:15:44 AM
Hello, friends! We all know in anything that we do (including Gambling) there is always profit and loss, many gamblers forget that and they end up crying.
You should always play online games with a good plan, set a limit amount for playing a day. Without setting some amount you may deposit all your amount and lose it all.

Gambling is risky, remember you earn your coins in a hard way so protect them. Gambling is profitable only if you will play in them a good way.

Even if you play gambling in any way, you will not profit from it.

Unless you are an investor of an online casino, you will never get any profit from it. That is the reason why you should just play gamlbing as a pass time, as an entertainment and not a source of income. It is true that you may still lose a lot but you are getting something in return, you are having fun and that is the most important.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 11, 2020, 08:59:24 AM
Uhhh..Heat already won.

I am not judging where you are watching though but they already won. Miami Heat will be facing Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
How sure are you? The series of Boston vs Toronto is not over yet, Boston has to win the game tomorrow for them to advance in the Eastern Conference Finals. You are so advance mate, lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot to put something being sarcastic on that.

I will be putting my money into Boston Celtics so yeah, I would be really rooting for them to end the series tomorrow. But yeah, for sure Boston and Heat will be facing the Eastern Finals.  Roll Eyes

I think being overconfident sometimes could really be so bad in gambling. Im betting on these teams too and I've been betting for Celtics twice in a row but in this game I bet on Toronto because it seems that they would still last until game 7, it is a shame that I did not go all in though, just bet half of my normal bet.

That is just fine.

I lost but for me it is fine because it was a great game since we had fun watching that game. We're not sitting at that last minutes and this really shows how close we are at the Finals. Still hoping for Boston to win and I know they can, they will be taking that spot at ECF.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption because of difficulty faced by mankind on: September 11, 2020, 04:01:15 AM
Blockchain is something but Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will forever sit on the sideline.

Bitcoin would obviously be used and adapted in the future but let's not be ahead since we all know it will never replace fiat currencies whatever happens. Just hope that it would be widely used in the future where online transactions is widely used. I also hope that if that ever happens, the blockchain could take all that users.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff son buys more bitcoin against his advise on: September 11, 2020, 02:12:53 AM

This got my attention.

business owner and investment professional for over 30 years.
and he can convince his son? how can he convinced his business partners before?  Grin

We have our own minds and I think you should not compare it to that.

Children grew up and they will always do some rebelling sometimes. If you do that in a business, I don't think you should be in that partnership in the first place. His son might've seen something in cryptocurrencies that his father didn't see, that we can also see in the future of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
