Sounds like Cassie was the manager/idea person, but her workforce has taken the work and the money. I think that happens to be the general consensus here. Could someone please give an indication of how much BTC was invested in the BitBay project and how much was left with each party after Justin left? Thanks I will reveal this info tonight once Cassie and I have had a chance to go over what I want to post. Cassie has already confirmed what BTC sh has in a previous post... you can see the last 4 PGP signed messages. Those are the only coins she has right now and she is being responsible with them. Thanks for your patience. Keep the updates coming.
Aside from the btc, what's the status of who owns the code/rights to bitbay, the idea, etc?
As far as BitBay goes... justin's attempt to steal the name will not work... he is a minor... and his applications will be denied for whatever he tried to register. BitBay is Cassie's idea, the code justin left with was nothing more than edits made to a sub $50 PHP site that was purchased. Safe to bet all he did was implement the BTC related changes as it looks the same as the off the shelf product. Cassie has already started with a new dev with a much nicer layout, but it will take time since this is basically pushing the reset button. |

New miner doe seem to have lowered the temp a bit but... I have lost probably .5% to 1% hashrate at max settings...
Clocking my 7950 at 1200 and 1800 with +20 nets just under 190MH/s. Previously it was steady at 197MH/s or better with the python implementation.
BUT... I would gladly trade that for NOT HAVING TO MANUALLY RENAME AND CHANGE AMDOCL.DLL EVERY TIME I WANT TO MINE SKC!!!!!!!!!
In other words... this worked perfectly on Win 7 64 GCN drivers. Boom goes da dynamite!

You can put your tinfoil hat away... what has been aired publicly thus far is the truth... justin (the coder) had direct access to the wallet and repeatedly took the coins to his own wallet as they came in. FYI, Cassie has been gracious enough to share screen shots with me that help show her side of things, and I now have the entire TX extract from the wallet justin took all the funds from... including every unique address in said wallet before justin cleaned it out completely. I will be putting together a post tracking every one of these transactions and linking them to blockchain.info so it will be easy to see and publicly known where every piece of the stolen BTCs went. Just to rehash the above... the wallet clearly shows all BTC being removed shortly after it came in, and Cassie has shown me what wallets she has and their tx details... she only has BTC from the last few investors... everything else from before the last few was taken by justin. |

The old script has been trashed on the dev server. I am starting from scratch. The investors will receive their money back after release. That is about as in depth as I am going.
It isn't that I am incapable of programming a cool and fully functional site. Cassie was the one who suggested to use a turnkey script and modify it to accept bitcoin. I can provide those skype logs where I refused.
Cassie has never released a single project. Oh but lets take a look; I am a lead dev of OpenEx.
So I think everyone should take a look: My work can be proven and shown. Cassie has no work to be shown. Ok, point taken. Thank you for the update and mature stance you have taken. We accept that you are a skilled coder and Cassie is no businesswoman, we can accept that but in the midst of it all the fundamental concerns do not change. Most investors want their money back and you have not provided any coherent reason not to refund them. Whereas I along with others looking in horror at this project unfolding, you saying investors will get their money back is fantastic news however it is not fair to refund after the site is launched as we are looking at approximately 3 weeks from today and even then you might turn around and not refund them citing the need to wait until net profit builds up so you can afford the refunds. I urge you to please put the investors looking for a refund out of their misery and let them have it. It will only bring praise for you and your reputation considering it has already been badly affected by the spectacle unfolding before us. Sure, if you sincerely believe in your project and are starting a new base with a self-custom coded website then go for it. We all wish you success but holding investors money to ransom until you release your website in the hope they will like it and thus stay is not the way forward. They need to be able to choose now and be able to stay for the long run if they wish or if they have had enough and want a refund it should be given immediately. Please consider refunding investors now rather than later and repair the damage done to your reputation. Thank you. There is no money to be held ransom. Cass kinda fucked my wallet to shit. Use the NMC you generate and buy GHashes... everything you buy makes 3% of that amount get added to LRM.
Only a complete n00b with no grasp of math would think the gigahash prices on there remotely good compared to what our noble friend FriedRat can negotiate. Never said they were... but instant delivery compared to TWO WEEKS!!! is a big factor... especially when it is just merge mined coins that we were not earning before. |

You have a responsibility to allow us to revoke our shares for a full refund, or at least transference of the invested BTC back to Cassie.
Since you did not disclose that these were YOUR allotted shares that we were buying, every one of your early round investors were lied to. We bought shares of "Bitbay" not "coding enhancements by justin" and as such, you need to allow people that request a way to exit without loss.
Consideration on this is very important moving forward if you intend to maintain developing in this community. You basically absconded with investor's funds and forced us into your business model. That is theft, and should anyone decide to take you to court, you would be found guilty.
I would suggest you allow each member on the OP assets list choose what they want to do. Otherwise, you have a very big problem looming overhead.
Also, what is this about you are 17... you do realize if you are not a legal adult... you cannot sign anything legally binding without your guardian also signing, unless you are emancipated. If this is true, your parents are now responsible for all the funds you collected and spent, and they can be liable for reimbursement.
Very troubling to say the least...

I always thought GHS from cex io was very expensive?
The price has come down to legit levels for an instant deliver miner basically. Best part is using the NMC to buy GH/s means they can just be sold off when the time comes... it is still a risk but et least the coins are doing something and still retain liquidity and value. |

Why would it take a month to make an altcoin? Devs must be completely incompetent.
Takes time to get all the icons created by an artist. It takes time to test a coin properly to make sure it is not going to fail on load. It takes time to put all the pieces together to make a coin launch without issues as this one did. Taking a month to fully vet a coin and schedule the launch properly is not a big deal at all. Wow no it doesn't. Ask anyone competent. I do not have to ask anyone.... you can see it yourself on these forums... coins made in a day and launched all suck and fail. Most of these recent coins can't even get out of the gate without screwing something up. Ask anyone competent? Point them out and I will then... otherwise... try to make your own coin and launch it without any problems and tell me how that goes for you and how long it took from start to genesis and chain. |
