I can access the homepage, but the last trade in realtime tab is 30 min ago.
If I had to make an assumption on this, I'd say it's an issue between the web frontend server(s) and the actual application server running trades and/or the bitcoin daemon. What specifically, I couldn't hazard a guess, since I don't know the method being used for communication, but that's not really important to me as an end user anyway. I'd advise everyone to just be patient, I guarantee burnside knows all about what's going on and I'm confident he is entirely capable of fixing it. Backend server went down last night. It is back up now, but slammed as everyone tries to get in. It'll catch up before too long. Cheers for the update! Any word on the change that prevents people from seeing the market page when not logged in? That change would be very inconvenient for me as I use several devices and the site doesn't let me remain logged in for more than one. edit: never mind, explanation posted just before I posted this. Not a big fan of this change though. As well as the inconvenience, it also forces people to be logged in for longer than they'd otherwise have to, which is a security risk. People have already had bitcoins compromised because some script executed in their browser while they were still logged onto an exchange. Also, people might want to check the market when they're on someone else's machine. Now they'll have to login on that machine to do so. Please could you make it so that this restriction is only in place when excessive load (suggesting DDOS) is actually happening, rather than all the time?

Also, why does it now say "Log in to view the virtual market..." when you try to view a security? (eg. https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT) You never used to have to log in for this. This is what someone would do if they had compromised the page and wanted to collect login details. Burnside, please can you confirm ASAP that whatever else is happening, it's not a security issue and it's safe to enter login details. Thanks.

Seems to be fixed now. Thanks. I still can't access the site with Firefox 23 on Windows 8. My friend was having this issue last week and it resolved itself somehow. Yeah, looks like it's broken again for Firefox. Was working fine a few hours ago.

I'm also shocked that you changed your mind on ActiveMining; good on you for evolving your trading decisions.
ActiveMining changed. AMC was unbelievably dodgy when BTCInvest started, and a terrible deal for investors. It's still hardly AM (the real one) but it's a massive improvement. Good on them for evolving.

Ponzi scheme collapsing.... TF kicking in his own money to keep it afloat.
TF why do you think your illegal ponzi scheme should not be regulated to protect your investors?
Kicking in own money to cover mistakes is a sign of trust and integrity, and TF has done it before, when BTCInvest was worth far less per share than it is right now, so it has nothing to do with the recent drop in price. Please go FUD somewhere else, at least till you have a clue what ponzi scheme means.

I don't recall how or why it happened, but you don't seem to be on my ignore list presently. I'm pretty liberal with putting people on ignore in the forums, so much noise to filter, but your posts are coming through just fine for now.
I'm not sure how he's posting now, since he's long been put in my ignore, but when I first noticed him we kept on trolling heavily for days. If he's stopped, fine. Speaking as someone who has not put him on ignore I can confirm that he has stopped trolling. Except for just now as he couched his comments with an "I told you so" about the price dropping. Although he didn't really tell us so as he has been saying all along that AM would drop to the 2's. This obviously hasn't happened. Also remember he was convinced it was overvalued and due for a drop even in early June, when the price was 2.3 BTC, and we know what happened next. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Nav update day, when promises are kept and trust is rewarded... BITINVEST/BTCinvest is a low risk investment fund...to deliver great returns <i>without losing money</i> in risky investments.
I sold my AsicMiner before the crash and bought back at the bottom. Here's hoping TradeFortress did something similar!

Does anyone know what happened regarding the 3500 shares that were being sold? Are they being slowly dumped on the PT markets? Will they be in the near future?
If no-one knows, would anyone care to speculate? It is kind of a big deal for the share price. Here's the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276891.0The auction was cancelled 3 days ago because the shares were sold to a private buyer, who the seller said wasn't a PT operator, and who people seemed to think at the time would be selling them later.

Does anyone know what happened regarding those 3500 shares that were being sold at public auction, but then went to a private buyer? Are they likely to be dumped on the PT markets in the near future? Thanks.

where is profit from usb/blade sales? do we have a surplus amount of blades? is the hw sales adding up and just not included in the dividends yet? and when it will be included will be sky rocketed?
It is possible that friedcat didn't receive all the money from sales, so they will be included in the next dividend. It happened before. yeah, I would say he hasn't received much at all, actually. From this dividend: 0.00667 is mining, 0.00557 is sales.

There is zero bias here.
I will immediately purchase ASICMiner puts expiring September 1st, with a strike of 1.8BTC, and a premium of 0.14BTC.
I will immediately purchase ASICMiner puts expiring September 1st, with a strike of 1.8BTC, and a premium of 0.14BTC.
I'm still buying about 7 more ASICMiner-PT put options.
Strike: 2.3 BTC Exp: ~90 days Premium: 0.2 BTC
(I am BUYING put options: you write them!)
Strike: 3.3 BTC Expiration: 90 days Premium: 0.3 BTC
Well, I tried...
Plenty of profit to go around for those who don't let their greed take over. Bears make money, bulls make money, pigs get slaughtered.
So nice of you to renounce greed and piggery to spend so much time writing so many posts to protect our investment.

Crypto Financial, please fix you text formatting. You keep putting line breaks in the middle of your sentences, presumably where the line ends in whatever editor you're pasting from. It makes your statements difficult to read and looks very unprofessional/technically clueless. Thanks.

posting because nothing stated here or on twitter.
it's only me suffering today (whole day) and almost unable to access the site? trying from two absolutely differently routed ISPs - the same. site is sluggish / cloud-flaired... have an impression, that havelock's team is not aware of... ...or it's just me?
It's not just you. It's been unusable for me for some of today.

@ CasinoBit - Is there a list of the bet profits/losses (rather than viewing one at once) to check whether the house profits from them matches the returns to the investors?
@ those claiming scam, ponzi, etc. - I'm not saying you're wrong, but do you have any good evidence besides the frequently high returns?
