721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: January 09, 2024, 02:53:50 PM
What we need to do is to have a very strong control over the money we use to gamble, this way regardless of the emotions you may be feeling at the time you will not take dumb decision with your money, while at the same time you are able to enjoy gambling as you should.
Heck if the gambler had control over that money they would not be gambling in the first place. Its because they are chasing a loss or following their greed that they try to make money like this and eventually lose enough to put them in the vicious cycle instead of accepting a defeat and moving on with the money.

There are people who have learnt this the hard way and those who never did, the first group have moved on to things that can actually make money and not gamble while the second group have gone down the rabbit hole.

So instead of being emotional about the loss, accept it and stop playing.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Heritage is Some How Spiritual on: January 09, 2024, 02:48:40 PM
That's because they've got a bad funding that they don't have the budget to be able to get really good players to stay and that's the sad truth about football, even if you've grown up on that club and got lucky enough to play to them, after all this profound matters, it's all money matters for the majority, no matter how strong the brotherhood and the camaraderie in that team if they continue to not have the money, they'll continue to be that team that sucks for more generations until they find the right people to fund their team to upgrade in terms of players, facilities and coaching staff.
A lot of examples are there to back this claim, indeed the funding matters and the more the money that comes in more top class players can be recruited or a balanced team can be built using the funding. This funding is again from advertisements, companies related to games, casinos and tickets to matches. Clubs exist to promote the smaller players as they grow into world class players but it has become a sort of a business at this point.

Still then the spiritual aspect exists and we see the heritage over time. We should try to reincorporate that into the next generation of supporters.
723  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 08, 2024, 03:20:22 PM
-snip-
These guys are pretty much moving on Dubai and other countries to venture into other projects crypto or non-crypto related so as to sustain themselves while they observe what happens to the Indian crypto ecosystem. Indeed it is sad to see the situation like this as the government pays no heed to a new industry and attempt to slam it down.

Possibly they are running with skeleton staffing and with reduced pay, eventually employees will quit and rejoin only if things get better here.

Bull run or bear run are not in our control. This makes their jobs, nothing more than a gamble.
724  Local / India / Re: ₹ Erupee transactions hit 1 million per day on: January 08, 2024, 03:15:44 PM
YONO is pretty bad and I used them too because SBI as my first bank account like most of the Indian residents and 6/10 times the payments will be failed due to server error and for a government bank with such large userbase not given proper resource like HDFC or ICICI do.
As far as information from SBI employees go, they paid a lot of money to TCS to develop this app and look at what sort of a app they ended up with. From the outside it looks good but inside its buggy and not adopted to modern smartphones. Often goes on maintenance over weekends and server crashes are nothing new.

But for the record it is the official erupee wallet app from SBI. Cheesy
I will wait before starting that journey. If I dont find any use of that system why will I install it. They need to convince me to use it not the other way round.
725  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator application for Polish local board on: January 08, 2024, 03:08:44 PM
3k reports? Wow, I got something like 1.7k and that too with a number of bad reports, though I have been less active in the last 4years due to work.
Seems like their previous mod has been inactive and I hope they are well, keeping the negative thoughts aside.

For support as an upcoming mod position if possible, OP has my support. Have known them from posts over the years specially from the Envion ICO fiasco which is still running its convoluted legal stuff. Helpful and knowledgeable indeed and elder member of this forum who should be able to make time for such a position.
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run begun ? on: January 08, 2024, 03:02:00 PM
i feel that it is not a bull run, but simply a market response to the development of etfs where the sec stated that they dismissed rumors that they would reject all requests regarding etf trading. as for that bull run, i feel that it will happen when the sec accepts the bitcoin etf and then continue until before the halving, that is my prediction.
A lot of good and bad exchanging between parties led to the sudden crash and the recovery. As we are back to 45k USD level, we are recovering and I can say that bull run might be incoming. But I would hold my horses till we cross 50k USD. Yup, my targets are big and before that I would only call it a bull trap for the time being.

ETF or no ETF, dont let that stop you from collecting more bitcoin. Rejection after rejection eventually leads to acceptance because this is the future and there is no other better coin.

A lot of bad things have been dragging bitcoin down since the last year, we can be hopeful that the next all time high is coming soon.
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 08, 2024, 02:51:33 PM
The chances are low... with occasional breaks, I have been active since 2015 and until now I haven't been lucky enough to hit a bigger prize on the daily rolls, when it comes to the weekly lottery, I have never been in the top 10 and I have had many tickets in some weeks. And to win something big from WoF spins it's even harder, the chances are extremely low.
I consider myself an exception to the lot of users on this forum having won the 200$ free roll. But I have not yet been able to reproduce it ever again and hence you can see that it is a rarely rolled number indeed.

Same with the lottery tickets, I havent won anything from them and hence I have converted to turning them into Reward points instead, I feel having accumulated enough I can at least encash that and not let that all to waste like the lottery tickets.

I don't know how many active users Freebitcoin has, but I believe that most users are not on the forum. So big prizes are probably going into the hands of people outside the forum.
Most of them are not here indeed. We have so many people running affiliate links of freebitco.in, they dont bother about this forum.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: January 08, 2024, 02:48:16 PM
Whenever there is a rain feature, you will always have a lot of leechers and spammers in the hopes to catch some free money. Something that is unavoidable and can only be solved with mods and restrictions on the chat (higher vip levels, minimum wager requirement, ...).
With too much restrictions the chat will become dull as well, which is a counter-productive measure. The owners want the chat to be active and lively so that the random browsing user takes a peek and get the craving to join the party and signs up. Eventually to find out that there is a wagering requirement to chat.

But with some mods and a few days of modding, the chat should become clear, without having to put up tight restrictions or requirements. That is my opinion and from what I have seen from many other sites.

I am sure the team will come up with something creative.
729  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: LOOKING TO BORROW 0.005 6 MONTHS on: January 07, 2024, 08:13:44 AM
What is your collateral ?
Dont bother asking, I can assure you the OP does not have one collateral because they would have posted in the lending section threads with their asking loan and not posted here in a separate thread.

OP has been inactive for a long time and their older posting habits dont instill any sort of confidence for a non-collateral loan at all.

Still in the rare possibility of having a collateral, do reply here, I am sure any one of us can fund that loan.
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run begun ? on: January 07, 2024, 08:08:52 AM
Come on now,

We see one big rise in the market price and we come up with "Bull run happening"?

I wish the same mate, but you have to skeptical and observe for sometime before making up your mind about the same. The last week has been a down of 41k to a up of 44k and this drop was not expected to happen - ETF yes/no questions led to it? No comments.

I have sell orders at 50k USD and I hope they get executed gradually, we all want the bull run, but we should be patient about it.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: January 07, 2024, 08:05:37 AM
Often, when I lose, I think about in-house games being fixed. It might sound funny, because those who lose always find excuses and blame others, but sometimes it is hard to believe in getting 1.00 three times in a row in limbo or crash. I mean the game can throw something between 1.00 to 9999, but the variability that 1.00 comes three times in a row is so low, it is even lower than getting 9999, yet still I have never seen 9999, but got 1.00 1.00 1.00 or 1.00 1.00 several times in one week already.
If the game is a provably fair one, which this one is in all probability, there is nothing fixed about it. Just verify yourself and you can be assured that the casino is not cheating you. If you still feel that the game is fixed, dont play on the site because even if you are wrong, you will never be able to convince yourself because the average losses will be more than the wins in the long run due to the house edge.

Most of the match fixing occurs in sports that too small sized games like ones in local clubs, colleges and communities. The ones rumored off in big leagues are mostly from people making them up rather than anything in reality.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 07, 2024, 08:00:35 AM
Taking loans to gamble is a big no no but for the gambler it seems like the only way out when the money they have has already been lost and they have not gambled for long enough to give them withdrawal symptoms. Indeed it is a pathological condition and the same family members can actually help cope up with the situation.

If the gambler is willing enough, they can try keeping their mind of gambling through fruitful activites outside their devices and make use of the time. Its tough but possible.

Then there are people who are drowning in debts but have no remorse, for them its a tough life without any option.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: January 07, 2024, 07:56:56 AM
OP is talking about sharing our wins or sharing our predictions?

If it is the former, then a lot of people do that but it devalues the amount actually lost during the losses as compared to one win.
It it is the latter, then prediction sites are rampant on the internet, but you should put your money in at your own risk, every prediction can go wrong and the final decision to bet should be your own.

No gambler can make 100% correct prediction, they would not be a gambler then but be a god which is not real.
734  Other / Meta / Re: Changes Discussion Behavior in Forum on: January 07, 2024, 07:47:04 AM
I currently have a quota to fill for my campaign, so I will be regular in "Gambling" section, but I do try to make time to read the other sections of the forum everyday and post in the threads what I find I have some knowledge in or have something to point out. Of course with more casinos running campaigns than exchanges and other services being out the question, the gambling section will get a skewed posting load.

There is nothing good or bad about it, bitcoin's two main purposes are gambling and trading. Roll Eyes
735  Local / India / Re: ₹ Erupee transactions hit 1 million per day on: January 06, 2024, 05:42:49 PM
I guess their promotional logic is that if CBDC is made popular the use of crypto will reduce. But when I already have the UPI why will I use the CBDC? They are going to come up with more offers and promotions - but question is for how long they can sustain this? It will be a poorly managed ecosystem where only promos run the transactions.

Lets see how the government goes with this, till date, I am not sure if it has made an impact as what UPI did.
736  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 06, 2024, 05:39:38 PM
Well, there should be a communication bridge between Binance and Indian government and though Binance don't have their office in India but it has employees remotely working from India and in this age of technology we don't need to have a physical office to make our presence felt as there should be a proper communication channel which should help government with the required details instead of putting every trader's earning opportunity at risk. It disgust me to think how they can kill once flourishing market.
Most of the foreign exchanges run remotely, the Indian exchanges have their offices in the mainland. But that idea of communication channel between Binance and Indian government is longshot, crypto is after all a minor problem for the government.

To the government crypto is more of a MLM/HYIP scam and because the number of crime reports on crypto has increased, they are only interested in banning instead of regulating it.

I am hopeful that if the West can come up with some good measures to monitor criminals using crypto and becomes lenient towards use of crypto, we might see some improvement here too.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: January 06, 2024, 05:30:30 PM
What would happen if all Bitcoin is mined
After they are all mined,
From the perspective of users - nothing really changes.
From the perspective of miners - they no longer get the block subsidy, they only get the transaction fee.

Quote
and all Bitcoin is lost?
I dont how that is even possible, I mean lost to whom? Bitcoin is distributed to so many wallets in the world, how can it feasible be "lost"? From a single wallet's perspective, losing their bitcoin means someone stealing it, in which case it is obviously not recoverable from the victim's side.
738  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: January 06, 2024, 05:23:40 PM
The spammers are more active than the legit players in the chat of a casino. I have seen similar activities of the spammers in a different casino chat a few days ago. I was looking for some information about the withdrawal by asking it in the chat, where I received 'good luck' in reply from a few many users. Rainbot is the primary thing which attracts those spammers in the chat.
Similar thing happened with me, I wanted to know some details about a bet I placed, had to ask the question twice and I got "good luck" and "nice win bro" replies when actually it was a losing bet, LMAO.

I had to eventually go online and check from other websites to get the answer to my question. However in most of the casinos the chat members are helpful enough to cover such minor problems.

Employing mods on the chat might be in their timeline, lets hope for the best.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 12:11:17 PM
We will never have enough if we go with this type of ideals. There are people who are obsessed with collecting bitcoin. But don't let this go in your heads. The maximum we can do is collect every few coins once the price goes down but there is obviously a limit to this.

Investing in Bitcoin should be kept as a hobby or a side hustle. Not something to obsess over qne and crack your heads with it. There are many modes of investment and Bitcoin buying is only one of them.
740  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 04, 2024, 03:30:46 PM
The industry will never die out, that is the power of decentralization. Because of government's mismanaged policies they industry is suffering but we have to be hopeful that the future turnout will be different.

I dont know how the exchanges are managing but they have stopped appearing on News media of business channels and this means their costings are more than the earnings. From this you can assume that they are barely scraping to be alive and attempting to move other countries or shut down eventually.

Their mouthpiece was attempting to create a lobby with the Indian crypto users, but it will take time for the government to wake from their sleep.
