I will join an airdrop if it is an ERC-20 token and there is not too much requirement needed. The reason why I like ERC-20 is because I don't have to download any wallet which has a risk of having a virus and may it end up stealing all my crypto. Ethereum wallet is much safer than downloading a wallet. If an airdrop ask for some amount for "verification purposes" then I would not join that airdrop. I would join as long as they are like the above mentioned otherwise I'll just wait for the bounty of that coin and then join.

There are some people who use ICO as a way to scam others. They would just make a website, have a bounty and then create a whitepaper that can attract investors. Some ICO are easy to catch that they are scam because when the people behind are shown, some would investigate if they are true or not and then if they see that they are fake, they would warn others about it. There would be times when an ICO become successful and even reach hardcap but after that the one who organize the ICO are gone, their site and social media is gone. When you decide to invest into something, just make sure you can afford to lose it. However, there are more legit projects and you can see that they are more active after the ICO to fulfill their promises.

When bitcoin makes a rapid movement whether it's up or down, altcoins are always affected. When bitcoin goes down, it is expected that altcoins would go down as well because people would want to secure their funds by selling their coins. If ever it goes up rapidly, some people would want to take advantage of the price of bitcoin because it has more volume so it cannot easily crash that's why they would buy more bitcoin and they would sell their altcoins in exchange of bitcoin. Altcoins shine when bitcoin is moving sideways. It would be better to invest both in altcoins and bitcoin and trade it. Just always practice trading until such time you will know where you are good at and you can eventually manage your emotions.

I don't expect anyone in here openly declaring that they have $1 million because they would be prone to attack then. I don't have this amount but I am aiming to earn it in the next 5 years. I live in a third world country and $1 million would be considered a multi-millionaire to us. I am diversifying my investments though in crypto and in other business offline so that I can reach that amount sooner. Even half million dollars would make me so happy already. Anyway, I believe I can achieve it if I focus on my goal.

I would recommend to day trade the coins that has higher volume because there would be movements from those coins compared to those coins that may remain stagnant for some time because only a few trade them. Technical analysis is more effective when there is more volume because the more people who would use the same indicator, majority of the price levels of the traders would be the same causing a bounce or break-out in an expected price level and it would be advantageous for you if you know these price levels. Example is fibonacci retracement. If you use it in those higher volume coins, you would see the bounce near those price levels that will give you an opportunity to buy or sell on that level.

The way for me would be to sell half of it upon receiving and keep half of it until such time when the price go up maybe 2-10x. The reason I don't hold all the token is that there is a tendency the token might lose value if ever the developers would not be that active in delivering their promises. There are some tokens that are equal to ICO price when it is listed in an exchange but after a few months, it is only 1/4 or even 1/10 of the value because the developers weren't able to deliver their promise and there is also the effect of bitcoin correction. There is a tendency as well that the token might fly if it is listed on bigger exchanges and the developers are able to follow the roadmap.
