721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that conduct IEOS You should stay away from ? on: October 15, 2019, 04:07:10 AM
Here's my list
Vindax, Exmarket, bitmax, coineal, and any IEO that runs on the small exchange and manipulated exchange site.
That will be so easy to say that if you should not follow the ico that runs on not a big exhange site because it lacks of the verification to the team and a high chance to be a scam project.

And what about those that are launched in huge and popular exchanges, are they automatically better IEOs? To be fair, they are not. They are just richer. Does it automatically follow that since an IEO is launched in Bittrex or Binance, they will be successful and will give you a guaranteed positive return of your investments? No, of course not! There are different kinds of scam projects. There are those that are created by a poor team and there are those that are created by rich scam teams.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: A huge recession could be on its way - sources on: October 15, 2019, 03:47:09 AM
From all indications, it's clear that a global economic meltdown is coming and it's not very much far away as it may seem. With some countries already having debts running in billions of dollars, it would be very catastrophic especially for developing and underdeveloped countries where the economy is still very fragile. It's a very sorry plight.
Global economic crises occur periodically and they cleanse the global economy. This is a natural process and you should not be afraid of it. Moreover, cryptocurrency users are even very interested in how such a crisis will appear on the cryptocurrency price. It is expected that as the crisis approaches, the price of cryptocurrency will rise significantly, as people will look for ways to avoid the effects of rising inflation.

Everyone should be worried about a catastrophic recession. That will have a negative effect to most of the countries. A global economic meltdown is not fun at all. It would be fun if the effects are only felt by the financial districts and wall street, and the rich stock exchanges, and all those who are wearing coat and tie. But you know what, this stupid recession, which is basically another invention of the rich and elite, are affecting mostly the poor people. When it comes, it takes away a portion of the portfolio of the elites, but it takes away the food of the poor.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: October 15, 2019, 03:19:53 AM
Some say that dollar is weak and getting weaker.

But dollar is still strongest currency.

Look at the stable coins like : pax, usdc, usdt true usd and more...  They are pegged with usd.
But how many stable coins are for euro or other currencies?

As people spreading rumours that dollar will  collapse and losing dominance, i see different.

My main question is what makes usd so dominant?

And why the euro value is higher then usd but USA dollar is still dominant, do you think that usd will be replaced by euro?

What's Ur take on that?

Well, Euro is also facing the same problems which USD is facing. Euro is not working as if there are no problems with the currency at all. USD has been the number one currency in the world. It is in fact the default global currency. And I cannot see it being replaced in the next years to come, not even Euro. Euro is of course dominant in European Union and other parts of the European continent but the rest of the world is using USD as the world's currency. Asia, Africa, the two Americas, etc.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB good to invest at price of 0.0019 BTC ? on: October 15, 2019, 02:53:06 AM
BNB has a strong foundation and supportedd capital strength, of course it's good if we make it for long-term investment, I suggest to buy now because many analysts believe that BNB can reach $ 100.
Reaching $100 I think is too difficult because the current price is only $18 and it's too far to reach $100. But if later they put a lot of IEO projects into their Launchpad then I am sure the price of BNB will reach new ATH again. The investors also have a lot of confidence if the developer of Binance provide IEO on their Launchpad.
IEO doesn't matter a lot right now, have you analyzed the impact that already given by the latest IEO on binance exchange site? it doesn't give any impact to the price of BNB coin and it seems like the trend will be going to end very soon. band protocol gives no return to the early user and it can be a reason for binance to halt its launch pad.

I don't understand, why is IEO tied to the rise of the price of Binance Coin? Why will the price of Binance Coin rise simply because they are offering their exchange for IEO launching? There is no connection between the two. IEOs are separate projects and whatever credit or legitimacy they have is their own and not related whatsoever to Binance's own product and credibility. Binance Coin's price is based on other factors. Investors of the coin will not look at the IEOs using the Binance exchange.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 15, 2019, 02:23:04 AM
Same here, low market and very new coins are risky and are not too attractive for me.

Stratis, Waves, Ark, and ADA were popular before as they are now. They remain solid and reliable. We just have to see a better altcoin season and these great coins will soar. Patience is all we need for now.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, and Tenx remain great coins for me. I have no problem with your choices.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Must Know Before Investing in IEO on: October 15, 2019, 01:58:01 AM
IEO projects on the market today are offering the whole heavens and Earth to investors  but we know that only a few of them can be considered as worthy of our money,

This is how i evaluate an IEO

Exchanges

If IEO is launched on Binance, Kucoin, Gate, Houbi, Okex. I always appreciate it. They are promising

Community.

if the community is large and strong this will contribute a great part to the success of the project. Check social medium handlets probably

Project Team.

Team development is important investigate everyone on team list, most scammers uses fake pictures

Whitepaper

I check if whitepaper is plagiarized or not. Scammers simply copy from various whitepaper and use this in their whitepaper. You can do it with various free resource of plagiarism

Great efforts. I have some things to point out though. You do not just jump into conclusion that since the IEO is launched in Binance, Kucoin, Gate, Houbi, and Okex, it is already promising. Make a review of the previous IEOs launched in these exchanges and you will realize that some of them are even incurring negative ROIs.

In terms of Project team, some scammers are showing their real faces and giving their real identities. Whitepapers of scams are also made originally, and with brilliant presentation of great ideas. During these times, we need to dig deeper.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 14, 2019, 02:07:27 PM
We have noticed that a lot of successful ICOs have exhibited common factors. One of these is their use of hype. Another is a detailed presentation of the company's roadmap.

You forgot the most important part of successful ICO's which are detailed whitepaper and solid marketing strategies. Without these two, ICO's will not become successful.

Right now, hype is not very useful as investors already knows this kind of tactics especially if the hype is very obvious.

But hype is among the primary things that marketing is trying to create. In my observation, hype is the next important thing that could promote a project after the quality of the product itself. Because solid marketing strategies will not really convince some investors if the project itself has a poor product to offer. Even if the marketing strategists make it very solid that the brand is reaching all potential investors, by the time these investors take a look at what the project is offering and they see the poor product, they will not invest.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ? on: October 14, 2019, 01:40:07 PM
You all might be knowing that Steam used to accept payments in bitcoin through BitPay, but they abruptly stopped it stating the price volatility of bitcoin to be the issue.
Stablecoins eliminates this very issue, could this encourage Steam or other companies like Amazon, etc. to start incorporating cryptocurrencies into their payment systems.
Is it possible some stablecoin might outperform bitcoin regarding this?

First, why would they use stablecoins when they can use cashless transactions? That is basically the same for me. Stablecoins are pegged on the US Dollar and so if I buy stuff from Steam and Amazon I could very well use my card instead. There is no sense buying stablecoins for this sake. It is just adding another layer of transaction when it is not really necessary. If they incorporate cryptocurrency, it should be Bitcoin first and foremost. Let the volatility issue turn out beneficial to them. They can do that of course.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: October 14, 2019, 01:14:32 PM
Following its listing on BitMax, DOGE has reached the 30sats mark. Do you think it's the beginning of a bull run or it will go down now?

Although I cannot make an accurate prediction whether the price of Doge will continue rising or go down, I think it is clear in the whole cryptocurrency market that there will be no bull run that will be happening anytime soon. Doge will probably be moving similar to most of the coins right now. They rise a little and then go down a little. And then there will be green once again followed by a quick red. There are no spikes so I think this is not the start for a bull season, even for Doge. But below 30 sats for Doge is a good buy.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 14, 2019, 12:43:16 PM
I would like to argue that it is indeed a possibility, but how are we to convince them that Bitcoin is better when the price of Bitcoin can also dive without any sort of warning or sign? And in addition to that, the price could only recover until two years later. Bitcoin is good in the longer term but for some people having their treasure lost 50% of its value is not good at all. Fiat is subject to inflation but it is somehow stable. Inflation is not like the dump of Bitcoin's price that would possibly reach as high as 50% in just a single day.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: some of the points and problems that have occurred in the crypto industry. on: October 14, 2019, 12:18:45 PM
KYC can easily be faked these days whether it maybe users or team developers. No one must take their investment decision solely based on KYC results. For bounty hunters it is a tideous task. They are not investing anything and they are not customers so there is really no need of KYC for them.

But KYC is the only way to redeem some coins earned by bounty hunters. They have no choice at all but to comply. For sure they are not customers but since they will be among those to whom the tokens are going to be distributed, they are also treated as customers or token owners.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum 2.0 Pulls Up Ether? on: October 14, 2019, 11:06:09 AM
Despite the slow growth of the Ether,
you mean the 2 year decline?

Quote
Now, the platform will soon be unleashing the Ethereum 2.0 which many expect can finally pull out the whole ecosystem from the block hole it is in. Do you think this can be the answer we are looking especially on the question/concern of scalability?

the 2.0 thing is just a buzzword they are putting out in the media so that they could milk it later one with a pump attempt otherwise there is nothing that could save a centralized broken crypto platform like ethereum from its eventual demise.
all they could do is pump it for a little while before the unlimited supply shows itself again and it starts dumping again.

That Ethereum design which makes its supply unlimited could really be a mind-changer for a lot of crypto, even Ethereum, supporters themselves. That goes against the ideal set-up which is being pursued by almost all crypto projects, that they are going to exert efforts to cause a higher demand of a coin with a limited supply. Following an economic principle, if successful, that is going to push the price higher as well. But such efforts might simply go to waste if along with the rising demand is also the rising supply. There is no price improvement in this case.

But make no mistake, Ethereum for me is playing a vital role in the improvement of blockchain and crypto. I hope for a successful Ethereum 2.0.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and stable coins like usdt on: October 14, 2019, 10:45:37 AM
What's your take on that?

Ethereum and stablecoins, do you think that stable coins like usdt has huge impact over ethereum price?

Do you think that stablecoins cousing ethereum high Volatility?

Do you think the stable coins are good for ethereum?

My opinion:
I think if there is higher demand to stablecoins then the ethereum price will go up.

Why is that? It seems that the two are not connected at all. Could you care to explain more, or do you have already have some charts and graphs that show correlation between USDT's high demand and Ethereum's price rally? For me, there is no significant relationship between USDT and Ethereum. I am also wondering, why would USDT's high demand be a cause to push Ethereum's price?
734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: October 14, 2019, 10:28:14 AM
Mastering your trading psychology is the best way for you to control your emotions. Emotions have important role when we are trading,  it can serve as strength or weaknesses. We can create good decision if we know how to manage it.

Emotions, when not properly managed or controlled can take a toll on one's trading career. You might be good at TA – making beautiful setups with profit potential. But then everything gets messed up when you get too emotional and lose at the end. That's one of the important aspects. Being knowledgeable about trading is important, keeping your emotions in check is important as well. I don't leave anyone out. I try to be calm when trading. Don't get too happy, excited or sad. Humans tend to make rash decisions at those instances.

Emotions, whether positive or negative, will bring nothing but negative effects to trading. In trading, only objective analyses are allowed and needed. Happy and sad emotions, bullish and bearish emotions, hopeful and desperate emotions, and so on have no place in trading. But it is extremely hard to just switch off emotions while trading. We are human after all. There will always be a smile on your face when you do the right thing and that's already emotion showing right there. We just need to keep it at the minimum level.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 09:59:49 AM
until now there is no other way but to hold your assets until the price returns to that level. but you need to realize that the $ 18k level is a very high level. if there is potential for bitcoin to reach it is likely to happen next year. to date, prediction after prediction is made, and the highest uptrend has only reached the price of $ 9300. You can see it in this article.

Another way to return your assets is by trading. but you know the risk if you predict the wrong price. I can not give further advice on this matter.

Yes, just hold since $20,000 per bitcoin is not happening right now. It will take several months  in my opinion. Just give time say next year, since halving is coming. Just keep the faith, bitcoin will bounce back again in the future, that is for sure.

Avoid making assumptions and setting high expectations. That will only worsen your disappointment and you might end up frustrated enough to sell at a loss and quit Bitcoin for good. Do not even set months for that $20,000 to come back. It may actually take at least a couple of years. Do not assume either that the reward halving will cause Bitcoin to climb back to $20,000. That may not happen after all. It is best to just brace yourself for the worst.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 14, 2019, 09:31:12 AM
I am here to confuse people who still think that any new projects that entered crypto space with teams that are able to show their faces on videos and even attend good crypto seminars anywhere around the world have nothing to hide, and they think its real project and far from scam, well the biggest scams in crypto space are able to cater away with that huge money because many believes they are real, The ceo and teams coming out in publics to discuss about the projects doesn't erase the fact that they can scam you.
Bitconnect did the same thing and miracle tele joined too

There are projects that were legit through and through when you check on their website, whitepaper, ANN thread, and everything. Only a careful scrutiny will expose a certain scam portion on their project. And mostly, these are scams from a legal standpoint. It may not appear like that in the eyes of the normal investors. For instance, Centra was a project that was great. They were able to raise a big amount. They had a complete set of real people in their team. They even had Mayweather the boxer promote their project. But only to end up just like the rest of the scam projects.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy GRAMS in Telegram. on: October 14, 2019, 09:06:09 AM
my advice don't hunt too fast to buy gram coins, because his own telegram CEO Pavel Durov never claimed to make public sales. I think maybe this coin is still not clear, because many stories claim to be careful when buying token grams.

Yes, you must give a little time for the controversial smoke around this project to die down a bit. Decide after things are already clearer. For now, be safe and avoid becoming too eager to buy GRAM. There is too much to risk as of this time when the SEC itself is finally releasing statement that they might stop its US distribution, and the CEO of Telegram itself releasing hazy statements. It does not hurt to be more careful.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 08:31:07 AM
Dear all,

I bought 2 BTC when it were 18k USD/1BTC and lost all my other assets with BCC 400usd.
I still have been keeping them with the belief that it will recover and over 20k.
it is too long time and that makes me so tired, i need money to invest a plan, but there is no money
Do you have any idea?

thanks

Bitcoin will eventually be back on its All Time High. It will break it and then surpass it in due time. It will even reach $50,000. But if you are in a hurry and you need the profit pretty badly, you better be cashing out instead and leave the crypto world. I can sense you are impatient by saying it made you so tired and you really need the money to invest a plan. The price of Bitcoin is uncertain and its movement direction is also uncertain. You certainly need a high level of patience before everything will take place the way you wanted it.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shill Me Your Altcoins on: October 14, 2019, 08:03:03 AM
Shill me your altcoins and tell me why they're not a shitcoin and why anyone should buy them Roll Eyes
You would notice that most will suggest the top coins in the coin market cap, especially ethereum. Looking at the top coins, Binance became worth more than $1 billion in less than one year, and thats definitely what you look at as investor.

If you are an investor who feels that the security of your investment is the most important aspect of all. That is primarily the reason why I also choose the top coins more than the coins that are ranked 1,000th or below. I only have very limited amount of investment and I want to see to it that they are invested into the most secured coins, and that is of course Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, BNB, and some more.

But there are other investors who are more risky. They choose those at the low ranks and have low marketcaps for a faster growth of profit. That is risky but rewarding in the end if they are choosing right. It requires a lot of studying though.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Analysis: Bear Market Ahead on: October 14, 2019, 05:48:50 AM
Ethereum is fighting on the line after its recent Bearish trend, after a long-continued Bullish trend previous month. Ethereum which is globally designated at #2 in the cryptocurrency market is trying to pull itself back to the $200 mark.

Let the bears come. Let the bears come and exhaust their strongest force to the market, let every coin hit the lowest point. After they are done, the bulls will still take over and make the market much better in prices before the bears came. That is always the cycle. Bears are part of the market cycle in the same way that bulls are. In the larger picture though, the bulls are clearly the winning animal.
