A good match Newcastle vs Luton Town, both of them make mistakes and both of them have chances, it's really surprising how Luton Town can improve when they're not signing any good player.

I thought all the championship clubs will relegated, but it seems I'm wrong here, Luton Town might able to survive. They're still not safe though, Everton is also improved.

Today we will see one of toughest match Liverpool vs Arsenal, although the bookie list Arsenal is the favorite, but I guess it will end in draw.
And a special mention goes to Luton Town, they were fearless and kept attacking and a draw against Newcastle at their home ground was a great result. Luton Town is a promoted team but has a good quality of play and continues to develop, and in my opinion Everton are still not consistent because after winning one match and the next match they will lose or draw.
And in the next match Everton will face defending champions Manchester City, and I guarantee they will lose to Manchester City. Meanwhile, Luton Town will face a bottom team, namely Sheff Utd and I am sure Luton Town will win this match.

The Liverpool vs Arsenal match is a prestigious match as well as a match where both sides want full points, and if one of them loses it will be an opportunity for the team below and it will be very easy to overtake them. And this is going to be a very interesting match and I won't miss it.
723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 02, 2024, 05:42:06 PM
If an investor invests the entire wealth that he has accumulated over a few months or years, he must think whether he is investing his hard-earned money in the right place.
Investing all your entire wealth on bitcoin is a bad investment strategy, because for you to be successful in your bitcoin journey. you don't need to invest all your wealth on bitcoin without having an emerfency funds to back you up when an emergency arise and it will make you to go and sell your bitcoin to take care of your emergency, which has terminated the purpose of increasing your investment, and long term hodli, due to lack of preparation and understanding how to be successful in your bitcoin journey.

For an investor to be able to survive in his long term investment journey, he must consider three things, which are his monthly expenses, emergency funds that will last for 3-6 months, and the money that he will use to invest that wouldn't be stressful and mount pressure on him that will make him think of selling to sort out one or two emergencies that will arise. This is because there are some unforeseen circimstances that will play out during out investment journey.

Another thing is that instead of investing all your entire wealth on bitcoin, after you must have kept your emergency funds and your monthly expenses aside, you can divide the rest into three parts, you use the fisty part to limp sum, use the seconf part for yout regulat DCA weekly or monthly and you keep the third on for buying at the dip, instead of going using all to lump sum.
In my opinion, it depends on the person's current state after accumulating money or wealth while working. If he no longer has an income or job, then he must think about his needs while he does not have a job or income, if he is still working and earning an income. He can do DCA and also have to share some of his assets for savings, because the goal is for emergency funds without using funds for DCA.
And if you no longer work or have an income, my advice is to use the money or wealth from your work to start a business that you are good at. That way, you will have a steady income from your business that can meet your needs.
And if you still have money or wealth after creating the business, you can use it to invest in Bitcoin and still do DCA. And with this you can meet your needs, save for an emergency fund and also invest with the DCA method, all of which will give you peace of mind now and in the future.
And you can also increase purchases when you have additional or unexpected funds from your business or elsewhere to increase your holdings.

726  Economy / Economics / Quitting Smoking Has Two Big Benefits. on: February 01, 2024, 02:48:04 AM
Quitting smoking has two big benefits, and I've been doing it for over 3 months. And both can be said to be long-term investments, apart from long-term health, the money used to buy cigarettes can also be used to invest and I invested in Bitcoin.
In one month I can spend approximately $90 to buy cigarettes, and the price of the cigarettes I buy is around $2/pack for one pack a day and sometimes more than one pack.
And by quitting smoking, I was able to increase my regular monthly Bitcoin purchases from a portion of my monthly salary as well as $90 per month in cigarette money.
And I definitely felt a difference in my health and also saw a difference in my Bitcoin holdings after increasing my purchases, and I wish I could do it forever. Honestly, even though I don't do it, sometimes I am still tempted to want to smoke again when hanging out with friends and also at certain moments.
And the strong reason I stopped smoking was because my wife likes to nag me if I smoke at home because I have small children, and over time I decided to stop smoking. And previously I tried it several times but failed, and now I haven't smoked for more than 3 months and I hope I can do it forever because it has two extraordinary benefits. Health and can increase my investment.

728  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: January 30, 2024, 08:01:01 PM
In my opinion, both are very important and must have different goals and must be done according to ability.
And it's good for us to have both, and save for reserve funds such as sudden needs, illness or other important money needs that require us to use them.
And investing as early as possible is very good, the aim is for the future or in old age. When we are no longer able to work but still have money to meet our needs so that we can live our future or old age financially calmly and happily.
And besides that, by investing we can protect the value of assets as early as possible from inflation which causes a decrease in the purchasing power of the money we have, and also the money we have can work and increase.
So both are very important and must be done, set aside money to save and also to invest according to our abilities and for sustainable living comfort and also for the future.
729  Other / Meta / Re: Should bitcointalk ban promotion of other forums? on: January 30, 2024, 02:34:16 PM
To add to what I said above, I think someone might have asked this question before a very long time ago and if I remember correctly theymos even commented on it if someone wants to do some digging to see what he said.
Yobit and Cryptotalk had their signature campaign to shill Cryptotalk forum in 2019. Because initially it was a spam campaign, Bitcointalk community reacted to it and yahoo took over the campaign to clean spammers from participant list.

theymos even banned the Yobit account here because of abuse and some spammers from that campaign but eventually, he allowed Cryptotalk forum to advertise here via a signature campaign under yahoo62278.

I don't think that was it. I think someone else directly asked whether it was OK or allowed to advertise a competing forum and thyemos gave his opinion.
That's how it should be, a good person must respect those concerned here and even though there is freedom.
It's a good idea for anyone to ask permission first before promoting advertisements or anything else on this forum, so that there is consideration from the party who has the right to make decisions.

Sorry if I am wrong.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: January 30, 2024, 12:42:35 PM
It seems like everyone would prefer the former because it cannot be denied that we also like to gamble but are not addicted to it. So treating him as gently as possible will make us feel how peaceful it is if we treat addicts like that, and over time there is a possibility that we will definitely be lulled and be able to stop.
And for the second option, we will definitely feel that if we are treated harshly just to stop gambling, we will definitely be angry. Moreover, an addict will be psychologically disturbed and his mental health will be affected by gambling addiction and that will only make the situation worse, he will rebel and get angry which will make him continue playing without control because of his irritation.

732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Everyone Calls My Child's Name Bitcoin. on: January 29, 2024, 09:55:02 AM
Because of the story https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5401052.0#msg60271061, until now most people, especially my entire extended family and also people around me, call my child Bitcoin.
Actually, most of them don't really know what Bitcoin really is, especially old people and small children because in my area Bitcoin is not very popular and only certain people know about it. And with this story happening, those who know that my child's birth expenses were paid using Bitcoin, want to know more clearly and also want to know what Bitcoin actually is.
And after I told them the basics of what Bitcoin is and its benefits, they finally understood and in my conversation with them I did not suggest investing, only that Bitcoin can be used for long-term investments that are profitable from other investments. And it can be used for trading, and can also be used as a transaction tool like money. And both must have a Bitcoin address or wallet that can be done privately, because in the country where I live, Bitcoin or other crypto cannot be used as a means of transaction.
And until now when explaining Bitcoin I don't know the developments whether they are involved or not.
Actually that's not the purpose of this thread, but more aimed at my son who most people call my son Bitcoin.
And at first I felt uncomfortable because my child had a beautiful name, but over time I got used to it and if my child was called Bitcoin he would definitely respond more because he was used to it. And I'm worried that my child will be called Bitcoin when he grows up, and I also feel uncomfortable if there are questions about Bitcoin because I'm afraid of answering it wrong.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land-based Casino Enjoyers are something else. on: January 29, 2024, 04:31:01 AM
~snip~
Question is how will they know? Would the girl present it to the entrance voluntarily? Will the receptionists assess a psychological testing before gamblers enter the casino? Silly it is to think of but it would be impossible. If the girl is aware of her condition she won't announce it with initiative 'coz for sure she knows that she won't be allowed to gamble or to enter the establishment which is in contrast of her purpose to why did she go there in the first place. We have many questions in our mind and only her would be abe to answer unfortunately or whether the casino would give their statement about it 'coz complaints are a bit expected from others who are playing peacefully.
We don't know how they knew, but perhaps the officers on duty could recognize someone from all of them so they could determine who could enter the casino. Aren't the casino officials trying to ensure the casino is safe from everyone? There is no need to carry out psychological tests before gamblers enter the casino because there are officers to ensure that all visitors can behave well while they are in the casino. Perhaps the girl could play her role well so that the girl could enter the casino and eventually something like that happened. It is very embarrassing if a girl acts like that, and if anyone finds out, they will report it to the casino. The girl will be examined further to see if she is still conscious or drunk or something else.

It is clear that all casinos must want the casino situation to be orderly and avoid unwanted situations, especially those that can be detrimental and this is the reason why there are always officers on guard, on the other hand, looking at the way of dressing and the clothes worn by the girl, honestly I did not find any suspicion on her because she looked like a normal person who was playing on one of the game machines, And by looking at this situation then in my opinion the shameful act that was done was not a deliberate act, in the sense that it seemed like he did it unconsciously and what is more likely is that this is because of the influence of the intoxicating drinks that he had consumed before playing which finally made him lose consciousness a little and act unnaturally like a person who has a mental disorder.
This is of course because visitors want a casino atmosphere that is comfortable, neat and also pleasing to the eye so they can enjoy the game until they lose track of time.
And officers play a big role in the security and comfort of visitors so they carry out very tight security and must be on the lookout for suspicious people or those with bad behavior. And in my opinion it seems like the woman was also drunk so what she was doing was beyond her awareness, and many drunks who lose consciousness do involuntary things such as urinating and even defecating. And in my opinion, this has become a habit that he does when he is drunk and it is very embarrassing and also detrimental to the people around him.
734  Other / Meta / Re: (Any Guesses?) Are there many real (unpaid) people still posting here at BCT? on: January 29, 2024, 12:27:09 AM
Hello, I have spent many hours studying the old threads at your wonderful forum, and I suggest to anyone they do the same. The amount of challenging, high-quality topics combined with no spam or sigs is a refreshing retro experience for me. As we quickly head into 2024, do you think there many real (unpaid) people still posting here at BCT? Have a great day.
Yes, for example me. And whether I participate in signature campaigns or not, I'm still active and posting what I want to post.
Because I consider this forum as part of my communication and activities to be able to search for information and also to develop my knowledge.
And I always read every hour or even second so as not to miss any information or anything important in it, and will also post if I want.
BTT is a good place to develop knowledge because there are many great people who continue to provide information and solutions to all threads so it is very interesting for me to make it part of my daily activities.

737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Want To Invest Money From My Inheritance In Bitcoin, But? on: January 28, 2024, 12:15:17 AM
Thank you everyone for your input and feedback.
Actually, what you thought and mentioned crossed my mind, but this situation makes me a little confused, because losing a father who can be a friend is something painful and difficult to forget.
And maybe what I will do with both of them is, I will ask for lots of time to make decisions in a calm state. However, my decision to invest my own money will soon be implemented and I just have to wait for the right time, and for now what comes to my mind is that when the time is right, I will advise them to do it themselves. And keep it under my supervision until they really understand everything including the risks, and all that after I educate them how to use it and all the basics.

Once again, thank you everyone. And maybe in the near future I will lock this thread.

Don't mix family and money. If Bitcoin drops, they'll blame you. If you lose their Bitcoin, they'll blame you.
Well, this is what I'm worried about, and while I'm sure in the long run Bitcoin will be profitable, I have to think about the risks because anything can happen. And I haven't made a decision yet because I need an opinion, because they are family.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I Want To Invest Money From My Inheritance In Bitcoin, But? on: January 27, 2024, 10:25:27 PM
After my father died 3 weeks ago, we as 5 brothers agreed to fulfill my father's wishes by selling part of his land to be sold and distributed to 5 members. So my parents' house still has 250 meters of land next to my parents' house which is currently still occupied by my mother and two younger siblings and the land area of the house is also quite large.
Long story short, from the sale of 250 meters of land, 5 family members each received $4,400. And I have plans to buy Bitcoin to increase my Bitcoin amount in the near future so that the money is not reduced for unimportant purposes. Because it cannot be denied that if I see large amounts of cash, I will definitely want to buy what I want, not what I need.
And what confused me was that 2 of my family members, namely 1 older brother and 1 younger brother, wanted to share some of their money to invest in my Bitcoin. And they themselves don't want to do it for reasons, they don't want to bother.
Even if he wants, I will teach him to make a Bitcoin wallet. But they still don't want to and want to combine their money with my money to invest in Bitcoin, and they already know that I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time and they also know about my changes. And maybe that's what makes them want to do it, so that their money will increase.
And this makes me confused and I haven't made up my mind about their money that they want to put into my Bitcoin, and they also know that investing in Bitcoin takes a long time to get good profits. And I'm always in this for the long term, and I need a way or an opinion so I can make good decisions.

And to be honest, I'm still in a state of mourning because of many things and stories that I can't just forget.
