To be honest it is really hard to decide whether you will still HODL or sell whenever you are making a decision especially when it is in a dump or may I say that there are no accurate decisions that have been made when you will HODL or sell it. The thing you need to do is to read the market especially when how many is the percentage that the market dumps, if it dumps for about 20% in a day then probably it is very dipping you need to hold it in order to not gain heavy loss.
its really make confuse with current situation , i am hold some good project but looking current bitcoin dump make me to sell it and rebuy when bitcoin could hit 20k. but i am affraid if i sell my assets price continue to rise, it is very dillema to take decision in unclear market trend. drop 20% will make us hold or our we will lose our money. |

Primary reason would be to gain more popularity and influence the market. Just check the ranking of dogecoin on CMC, through his influence he has changed the marketcap of that coin. I am sure he also holds a considerable amount of the meme coin and is indeed looking for a considerable amount of profit from it.
its more rational reason why elon musk shilling doge coin. he want to test cryptocurrency market , is it really decentralized from any figure or not. No matter what exchanges that list memecoins. i have decided that I will not and never invest in anything meme coin. from doge to shiba. they are highly volatile and not good for holding. they are not good for investment and I have never seen meme coin as long term product. assuming they can be linked to social platforms, then will I consider investing.
even an exchanges only take advantages from fee that collected from trading volume. they realize it could give them alot income for operational cost. my trading strategy is very simple, is to buy coins based on support, and when the breakout also I will buy it,

I dream of the day when alt coins are not tied to the price of bitcoin. Uhg...
But this is already happening. There are certain exchanges that don't pair tokens with Bitcoin. Those days when I used to trade on Idex (a Dex kind of), tokens were paired with ETH. So, it's not as if it hasn't happened before. Even on some Cex, there are still tokens which aren't paired with BTC. Some have pairs in tether. although its paired with ethereum , but its price still rellated with bitcoin. we have bitcoin dominance rate that represent the bitcoin power in market. so every altcoin ,paired with bitcoin or not will effected when bitcoin price dumped or pumped. It is possible that this will happen sometime. And when that day comes, what will it change for you? I believe that there is no problem for a trader that the price of altcoins is correlated with the price of bitcoin. This makes it possible to predict the price movement of altcoins by observing the price of BTC.
bitcoin movement will help us to identity altcoin price,usually its moved parallelly as long as bitcoin dominance still high. |

locking token for staking reward need special calculation about its effect to market. we will see is it give negative or positive impact due this high percentages. staking reward have goals to lock investor's token and decrease supply in market, but is it will be effective when holders will lock their token for some periode. dev team calculated yet about the risk if investors unlock and they will sell staking reward ? APY and another factor must calculated well with this tokenomics.
