721  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 23, 2022, 03:28:38 AM
I think the golden rule of investment is security guarantees, investments such as deposits, stocks, gold and so on will always be a top priority because there are guarantees, in contrast to cryptocurrencies whose value can be zero as happened with LUNA and other cryptocurrencies, without security even though the promise of profit high will make us doubt.

I agree with you that the most profitable investments are gold, precious metals, real estate. These things will always be expensive. Although there is a risk lose in value, but you can always sell these things and get your investment back. How much a person is ready to take risks and for what period of time he expects. This is also very important to consider when investing.
Conventional investments like that have been trusted for a long time so we can trust them to invest, especially in real estate where the price always goes up every year, with evidence that house prices are currently getting higher. but many people say where now to start for the era of investment in the promising food sector. Actually this is very logical considering that food is always needed every day by all of us, but all of that always has a risk, just like Luna.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 23, 2022, 01:21:34 AM
the solution in the current market situation is to keep an eye on and look for opportunities to enter carefully. using the DCA technique. we can pay in installments and also sell gradually when we make a profit. However, sometimes in a bear market, more people panic to sell and are afraid to buy.

The opportunity did come along right? peg at $17,500 for me that is the lowest low that we might see in this bear market as I don't predict that we can go lower than that (I might be wrong). But the point is, even if we are in a bear market and volatility is high, we can still make some adjustments on our investment. You can DCA or buy when the price goes down. No need to panic if you have been in this already because experience tells us that we will recover and bounce back again in the next bull run.
Surprisingly, it didn't stay at $17.500 for long and quickly bumped back to $19.000 - $20.000 within a couple of hours, something which I wasn't expecting. It's currently sitting at $20.160 and looks like it's crashing again (- 3.10% 24h). My bet is that it'll move towards $18.000 in the upcoming hours and probably stay in the range of $18.000 - $20.000 for quite some time.

Edit: And yup, 10 minutes later, and we're already well below $20.000 (- 5.10%).
This is an opportunity to start buying now, where $17.5 is a strong support area, so even if the price drops back from the support we set, we still have capital reserves to buy and look for the next support area. The courage to buy according to the analysis is very much needed, because not a few of us are still waiting for a decline and in the end they miss it because the price has gone up, which is the benchmark when the price is getting lower, then change our mindset to make it an opportunity to buy
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ? on: June 22, 2022, 02:28:43 AM
How long are you going to stake? So far, USDT is fine enough, and no problem with this.
But, due to the bad news about USDT so far, I personally will not stake it for the long term. But if this is at least 3 months, it may be not a problem. Although we don't know exactly what stablecoins will be crashed or survive because of some news. Many people say that USDC is safer because it has backup and USDT is not. But once more, this may give a certain influence. At least, so far, USDT becomes the most used
I think choosing both is a good decision, where with the negative news that has happened to usdt, of course we have to be more vigilant, even though until now usdt is the most widely used stable coin. while usdc is a stable coin that has not had any negative news so far, and besides the two I think busd is also a stable coin of choice to park our assets, before being used to buy coins again, because I usually use stable coins to secure temporary assets
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: June 22, 2022, 02:15:12 AM

New projects are just a waste of time and money since most of them end up in scams and that there's no way you can expect decent profits from them. Instead, invest in bitcoin and ethereum, you will never face huge losses as long as you never intend to sell them when prices are dropping. Although there are some coins that are unexpectedly increasing their prices, but be careful as they might be hyped and that everything will fall down once the hype is gone.

New project gives bad perspective about gaining huge wealth more faster and sometimes they ignore the risk about scam then invest on many random new created new tokens around and then suddenly huge scam happen to them. Hopefully the incidents about what happen before to old investors is already enough basis for people not to risk any huge amount for long term on investing on new because sometimes those ones are created for pump and dump schemes.
I'm not sure how these newbies will take those experiences and become a reason to ignore new projects as we know that greedy people still exist and easily get fooled which makes these scammers still alive as well. It was hopeless to see the change, many people are still coming and they will do the same invest in hypes and scam projects. Although there are a few new projects that are worth enough to invest in but yes, that was too hard to find and much more difficult if we never do research.
new projects are full of risks, even though it has a good concept but I personally find it very difficult to analyze, and often get caught up in the hype. especially for beginners, of course, it is very risky to lose funds, pump and dump actions often occur, so we must be able to use it well when the pump occurs, don't let greed overwhelm us. there is no harm in trying your luck according to our analysis on a new project, but using capital wisely will be better, to anticipate the worst possibility
725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why your alt didn't dump as much on: June 21, 2022, 04:01:30 AM
I was wondering why the alt I was holding didn't dump as much as top currencies then came to a Twitter thread elaborating there is no exit liquidity for alts to dump as fast. Liquidity having coins dump first and others later.

It got nothing to with project itself, it's just market. It's better to exist asap.

There was nice Twitter thread explaining all this but I forgot where I read it.

So if you were curious, there it is.
There are certain projects which can withstood bear market specially on the leading coin or king of crypto which is Btc and on the time this coin is on the floor then expect that everything would really be pulled down that's why always anticipate so that you won't really get frustrated and if ever your coin that been holding didn't dump much then be grateful because on the current trend we do have then everything is really going down to the floor which is something inevitable to happen.
By being able to survive the altcoins that you hold, it is possible that later it will be easy to crawl up when the bearish season for bitcoin ends. this is an advantage in itself, so you will be more confident to hold it until the goal is achieved. on the other hand, if we have a view of altcoins that have fallen far but have potential, then this has the opportunity to be diversified according to your analysis.
726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 21, 2022, 03:50:45 AM
a good strategy, which is planning to buy in several price areas, because no one knows when the bearish season will stop. by looking at the written order then the $19k pending order is already open. and you are still waiting for the worst, if there is still a decline. but I think the price of $ 17.5k is a strong support area, but it could be possible to crash again. but now you have made a profit, because right now the price is at $20.5k
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODLing strong! on: June 17, 2022, 01:32:06 AM
only rich people can hold for so long without doing anything with their assets just frozen in the fridge but i guess this is impossible to do without a plan and purpose behind the scenes...
maybe they are great at holding it for so long ... but maybe stupid if they don't use it and take advantage of it, whether it's a dead wallet that can no longer be accessed due to lost keys so that it becomes an asset that is held indefinitely
by looking at high fluctuations, it is best to be able to take advantage of them. by using cold money, maybe many people always keep it, but I think there should still be assets traded when the bullish season comes, we can take profit and wait for it to buy back, or use the profit to reward ourselves, by buying something what we want, or diversify assets in other investments, so that our assets can expand. we imagine if like now bitcoin has dropped by about 70%, won't we get more bitcoins if we buy it back
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 17, 2022, 01:20:20 AM
in terms of the value of BTC nothing has changed, but unfortunately as size is fiat, so by converting to fiat, the price will decrease even more when in a bearish situation like today, therefore this is what causes our psychology to be unstable, and causes a bearish season prolonged. but for those who have a clear mind and dare to take risks, then now is the time to start collecting bitcoins, so that later we can reach the time of glory
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: June 16, 2022, 07:54:20 AM
The biggest mistake I've ever made with crypto isn't selling the meme coin assets that I owned at the time of ATH that should have been tens of thousands of dollars is now hundreds of dollars. sometimes greed is really real can destroy dreams and hopes.
several times I made mistakes like this, when the price was high and pumped, but I didn't take advantage of it, so feelings of disappointment often arise, but after that I started to manage my greed by selling some when it reached the target, and holding some to sell when the price went down again. pump, it seems that greed is the main disease for most people
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for Traditional Banks to cooperate with Crypto on: June 16, 2022, 07:46:19 AM
As we know there are some countries where crypto currencies are illegal that's because the governments of these countries understood only disadvantages of crypto they didn't try to find out the advantages and benefits of crypto that's the main problem which is creating a barrier between traditional bank and crypto industry if these countries legalize crypto currencies with regulations then traditional banks might cooperate crypto currencies.
cryptocurrency is not considered a currency, but only as a means of investment and trade, if in accordance with the essence that is allowed by the government it seems that crypto can work together in terms of deposits and withdrawals, the rest as a currency or a medium of exchange does not seem to be able to be done. Isn't it now that there are many facilities from banks in an exchange, to facilitate investors?
731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: June 15, 2022, 07:37:06 AM
of course very useful mate!, but there are many trading platforms in the crypto currency world,
of course we have to follow only the best, such as OKX, FTX, Bitfinex, Coinbase and of course Binance,
you will feel safe if you trade there, and stay away from new platform, because many have been scammed
Yah, we have very many good exchanges whom we can trust, trade and store our asset. Binance, Coinbase Bitfinex, Wazirx are best exchanges to begin with for new traders. There have been more scammers in crypto on exchanges, new token implements and etc. Its we who need to review the platform or the project and invest / use the platform. All those who are new to this platform, kindly take time to research and get in.
Unfortunately there are some low level exchanges which turn out to be a scam, but in crypto "low level" is still millions of dollars. What these exchanges do is they list coins and tokens that nobody else lists, the high level named exchanges that you mentioned do not list everything, so these low level ones have hundreds of coins and pairs that they list.

In return, they get a lot of customers piece by piece from each of them, maybe they do not make a lot of money but they have a lot of money on their hot and cold wallets thanks to this listing. After a while, they get so many people that they just say "we are hacked, sorry" and leave with the money.
things like that should be avoided, there are many examples that can be learned from. this will be different if we choose a trusted exchange like binance, a hacking incident has occurred, and binance returns all consumer losses, so that this exchange is increasingly well known and trusted by everyone, so it would be better for beginners to use this kind of exchange, than the exchange that low level in the end lose money because they state a scam
732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 15, 2022, 07:26:42 AM
This is the best time to pick your stop loss and make it an essential part of your trade. The market keeps falling and investors and traders alike keeps crying. It seems some wild prediction of Bitcoin giving those who missed the early opportunity of buying is coming alive. To avoid been caught up and trapped  by the market volatility stop loss should be as useful as every other technical or fundamental tool you can think of. It is better to risk a small fraction of your assets than losing it all
for me at this time we can actually take part in buying, by dividing into several buying areas, so that if the price drops again then I am ready to wait for the next purchase, I don't think about short-term trading, at this time I only rely on long-term investments, if the four-year cycle occurs again, so I have to be ready to wait another four years, therefore the capital I use is cold money
733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 14, 2022, 04:55:06 AM
Honestly I have been investing into bitcoin for many many years and never owned 1 full bitcoin before in my life. Sure if you look at all the money that went in and out of my account it could be like 50+ bitcoins or even more, but I never held them, it was my earnings that I had to just send back for more products and all that, and even the living that I have, each month I make enough to actually buy a good amount of satoshis, and at some point in my life I could have gotten like 1 bitcoin every other month or few months, and would make like few bitcoins a year, but I had to cash them out to survive. So all I did was buy parts of it, like buy 0.01 each month for example, or even 0.005 or even lower if I have to.
I dont see any problem in that mate. The money you earn is for spending and saving. If your main job is earning enough to sustain both then you would save bitcoin in excess and if that is not happening, still there is nothing bad about it. Never compare your saving with another person, you have no idea what that other person may have had gone through to be a position as today - often a mistake that people do.

Buying bitcoin in parts is defenitely recommended to every newbie out there instead of buying chunks of shitcoin that have no actual long term value. They may seem cheap and easy to get but they are only more showy than profitable.

In fact, this method is recommended, saving every month in bitcoin and not interfering with the needs of our lives, over time there will be a lot of bitcoins that we collect, so that the time will come when we can sell it for a profit when the market is bullish. but there are also many people who prefer shitcoin, because the opportunity to get a profit that is doubled is greater, even though it is directly proportional to the risk
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins you can invest on. on: June 10, 2022, 02:55:37 AM
All three coins that you have mentioned aren't even known by most of the people. Those coins are very risky to invest in and high chance are you will end up losing everything. Sure you can try your luck with those new altcoins, but don't go all in. Just a little that you can afford to lose and while investing think that you have already lost all your money there.
Why not invest in well known altcoins and bitcoin?
maybe only tron is an old coin that can last until now, but for the other two I don't think many people know about it, and that means we have to be careful in investing in it. it could be a scam that is feared and we lose money for the time and capital used. it's better to choose a well-known coin like bitcoin, even though it doesn't make as much profit as the new altcoin, but at least we will be safer even if we buy any amount
735  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: June 09, 2022, 03:35:26 AM
The standard of living in my city is increasing, the price of groceries and spices has also increased dramatically, inflation is always happening and another problem is the difficulty of increasing income, currently I work with a monthly salary of around $400 and my living expenses with my family are more than $400 so I do a lot of things to meet my needs every month.
The same as mine. Before $300 just for the groceries are more than enough but these days, it's not enough for a month and that's why we're budgeting tightly and already avoiding buying those unnecessary things and goods. We have cut our budget and avoiding to eat now in fancy restaurants and it's a way to avoid the contraction of covid although rates now have become low still, it's there. Having one source of income these days won't be enough, it's better to have a full time job and have another job or a side hustle.
the standard of living in each region is different, and also different for each person, according to the needs of each. Indeed, I myself feel that if we only work as employees, we can only live, while we still have needs outside the budget, I agree, we must have income from more than one source, so that we can meet the needs of life, even though we have to be extra hard in the budgeting, because no matter how much income you get, but if we can't manage it, it will always feel like it's lacking
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin can solve poverty on: June 09, 2022, 02:35:22 AM
Correct, and this is not a theory that we are formulating on our own, this is a historical fact, we have seen this scenario many times in which a government for some reason or another begins to increase the money supply to the point inflation goes out of control.

And things get so bad the only way they see for solving the problem is to keep printing money, but this is only a temporary solution as we know that the more money is printed the more inflation grows, and it gets to the point in which no one wants to hold fiat and some even begin to use barter as a way to exchange among them for goods and services.
I think nothing can solve the poverty issue - the countries which have developed have progressed - those which are left behind will remain behind.
In our country there are so many issues - people are tired and sick of inflation. One thing ends and a new issue is standing with open arms. I see not end to  poverty.

There is one beauty ( scam I mean) of being a government, you can print as much as more quantity of fiat out of thin air and when you spend them, it continues to depreciate the value of that country and the most interesting about this is that the citizens are very well aware of this but would panic and shout that there is inflation when they already know where the problems emerge, the central banks know that this the main problem of inflation but they will close eyes and put the blames over small factors that contribute to inflation.
Increasing a supply of currency wouldn't do it good in the long term, only when it is deflationary that is why Satoshi made Bitcoin with a simple supply system that will never cross above 21m.
with the classic problem, which continuously prints money indefinitely from time to time, it makes its value decrease and results in inevitable inflation. and the emergence of bitcoin actually provides an answer to the unlimited supply, but the problem is that the government is the ruler, on the pretext that because it is decentralized, the government has not been able to legalize it. but in the future no one knows that developments will corner fiat currency to use
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: June 08, 2022, 07:55:49 AM
Just test both and you would find out which one will really be effective. It all matters on how you do use and make decision through it.
Yeah, that's better.

If you know how to FA and TA, you'll have references if you're always checking the market. And the outcome of your own analyses with these strategies will give you an idea of what could happen next.

But you will still be the one to decide your own trading fate and decisions because not all the time, they're correct. Sometimes, the market, doesn't go along with any of the both.
By mastering TA and FA, at least we will have a plan if the price does not match the analysis that has been made, because of course we understand risk and reward, and we certainly already have limits to dare to cut losses to anticipate bigger losses. at least by having an analysis we will have a clear framework for making transactions on the market
738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 08, 2022, 07:45:08 AM
And who even believes in such a scenario? To be honest, I highly doubt such a scenario, because the situation is not at all similar to the fact that such a result can be obtained.
That's OP's thought and all of it was what if's only but would you believe that there's a chance that Bitcoin would rather reach that bottom in the near future? It might not be true but the I think almost everyone here want that kind of price so that they can buy but I doubt there's a room for that in the future although the last bottom that I've seen was $3k so it might be possible though with the halving things might turn different this time.
any predictions and possibilities can happen, but actually no one knows for sure about bitcoin price movements. but right now it's not like 2018, where people are getting bolder to take advantage of every bitcoin decline according to their respective analysis, so we can see bitcoin only moving in the space of around $30k. but when it hits $8k, I think it's a golden opportunity to invest, although I'm sure there will be a lot of doubts and fears, given that there will be a lot of FUD in circulation.
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Platform? on: June 07, 2022, 04:46:16 PM
I started with something far less than what you've at hand in 2017. I think then it was with Polonex. Later I got onto Coinexchange and then Binance came up and took the shine from them till this day. My advice to you is to check top rated exchanges on the CMC and choose from any that's rated 10 over 10. I recommend Binance to you, anyway. I don't know what the commission is compared to others but I know my funds are safe there. At least for five years that I've been using it, no issues relating to loss of trust.
In terms of fund security, Binance is the main choice for choosing a platform, especially if you are a beginner who wants to trade or invest. Don't choose the wrong platform, because the funds are not safe even though it's not our fault. and if that happens, the op will be psychologically disturbed, so he can't focus on learning to trade. there has been a lot of reliable evidence from binance, one of which was when binance was hacked, and consumer funds were returned, and it formed its own consumer confidence in binance
