721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC gold and BTC cash confuses me on: October 24, 2017, 11:59:44 AM
Hello

so i am aware of the hard fork that generated BTC cash and the hard fork that will generate BTC gold, but what confuses me is the prices and market caps that these coins gains so fast !!

i was here when BTC cash is forked, in the first hours it reached 10B market cap !!

does that mean that the whole cryptocurrency market increased 10B ??

is it like 10B $ just transferred to the crypto world from fiat ??

Actually, bitcoin gold has no difference to BCH known as bitcoin cash. Where in the beginning it is more on hype only then in the end the was dropped little by little.  I think Bitcoin on the first week it will pump the price value same scenario for what happen to bitcoin cash anyway.
722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can buy some altcoin?? on: October 18, 2017, 07:51:31 AM
Hi I am new user in bitcointalk.org and I want to buy some altcoin. I have no experience about trading. Please share your experience.
if you like to buy some altcoin, I think better for you register a new account in bittrex.com then once you already confirm it to your email. You are now able to do some trade, but of course you need to buy first altcoin inside the platform of bittrex, I suggest try to buy Myst, Waves,Eth and Bitcoin. Then any of them you buy you are able to make some trade in bittrex.

724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: October 14, 2017, 04:06:26 PM
So.... how much have you win or loss gambling ?? And what did you stake ?
I've lost about $60 so far but im planning to win it back. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
A saying well said, however i still need to learn it since my greed is my downfall. Guys and girls
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?

In the world of gambling just two things you can stay there, that's the win and you lose the game. And we should also accept that this world we often face always is the ultimate defeat and we rarely win.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: October 14, 2017, 02:22:21 PM
The price of bitcoins are keep on rising so it's a great investment if you think also that bitcoins are in limited number so when all the bitcoin's are mined it's price will sky rocket. Also bitcoins are decentralised means government has no power over Bitcoins but the user has power.Transactions with bitcoins are best as we can transfer bitcoins to any part of the world with just $3 to $5 transactions fees.Bitcoins also hides the users identity when gives security to the users.
In addition to that, if you believed that bitcoin will reach 10, 000$ this year, I guess no reason to ask anything about it instead as long as its not reaching that amount of value, well just continue to buy bitcoin then hold in a long term.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming Fork(s) Safety For BItcoins on: October 14, 2017, 01:56:49 PM
If you have your private key stored, you're perfectly fine.
You can import this any moment in any Bitcoin wallet client, make sure it is verified safe. You can find a whole list here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet. So uninstalling won't be a problem as long as you have your private key stored. The fork can not accidentally change your BTC to BTG, the fork is a copy of Bitcoin's current blockchain which will split after 25 October. Every BTC you have now will correspond to one BTG. Both wallets will have the same private key, so make sure you import it to a verified BTG client. Otherwise your key can get stolen. A good solution for this is sending your BTC to a new wallet after 25 October and then importing the old wallet key in a BTG client. The safest wallet is just personal preference, Armory is in my opinion the safest wallet. But it is quite complicated. Electrum or Core are more user friendly.

You've almost gave a good advised and opinion to anyone here in the forum. And those wallet you had mentioned was also quite proven and tested too which is Electrum wallet, and the most important was keeping the private key and the seed phrase in the wallet of course.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: October 14, 2017, 01:40:27 PM
There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

Actually, for what I used now was mulitbit.hd and Electrum wallet, these two for me was proven and tested already. Especially for the Electrum wallet, just make sure you will save the seed phrase and password of your account in there.
728  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why People Are Not Honest. on: October 13, 2017, 02:23:03 PM
Can I ask why people are not honest. As in, why is it that people don't keep to their words even when they can do so? Can't I just do business with someone without signing papers and get lawyers and witnesses and still keep to my words? Can't we get trustworthy people anymore?

I think some people became dishonest because maybe they've compromised to the situation. But still telling a lie or making some stories which is not true was not a good thing to become a habit.
729  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: October 13, 2017, 02:06:09 PM
Money can never buy happiness, most people have all they need in life and still cry because there not happy in life, mostly the ladies end up following money and all the material things in the world and later end up crying. Money can't buy happiness nor love.

agreed, though some of the person said that if they have a lot of money it is a real fulfillment of their happiness. but for me that's not true, because you maybe become happy if you have  money but only for temporarily only. But a happiness with a pure a heart it was the best things.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 12, 2017, 07:27:20 PM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Bitcoin is not changing the world , but instead the life of individuals being change only if the person itself has strong determination and dedication by doing it have strong belief in bitcoin.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: October 12, 2017, 07:09:20 PM
Decentralization is one of the best features of bitcoin, with this things none of the private sectors in the government are not able to control of your coins or bitcoins, which means bitcoin was being categorized in unregulated business industry.

733  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: October 10, 2017, 11:47:18 AM
I'm wondering how this restaurant handles the problem of long transactions. After all, when the network is overloaded, the transaction can remain unconfirmed for several hours. A visitor can not be so much in a restaurant
That's what I've been thinking too, I can't even imagine if the transaction is being delay because of the confirmation would take long. Perhaps, their data connection could be has a strong internet to there area.
734  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: October 10, 2017, 11:24:47 AM

735  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: October 10, 2017, 11:10:02 AM

736  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help on: October 10, 2017, 09:42:51 AM
I ve sent $50 tip to first 10 people who have replied. Thanks everyone for your help.

If anyone else wants to give some advice you are welcome however I am out of the budget for this post

So generous of you dude Smiley
Well, even I'm late for giving advise to your concerns. Establishing your own exchange site platform was not that easy to do, it needs a big idea about it and you must create team for this matter. even you have a big capital if you have no team that will help
you for this it will be hard for you to manage it alone. And it will be useless whatever good plan and idea you have.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 05, 2017, 07:22:23 PM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

As long us there is a bitcoin user all over the world I think bitcoin might survive no matter how long will it takes. Because at any moment it can also be gone if ever all bitcoin users now will and never use bitcoin anymore. But that's too impossible to be happen anyway. Smiley
738  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: October 03, 2017, 10:08:52 AM
Sounds really good, that bitcoin would be freedom. But the freedom ended in taxes. And banks are already working on cryptocurrencies.

They are not actually into crypto's but they are adopting the blockchain technology. But I have read some banks that they are trying to adopt bitcoin and some other major alt coins. This is a good news though because they will add demand to bitcoin but the bad thing is bitcoin will be taxed and we can't live with freedom anymore.

That's a great news anyway, I remembered that I watched it somewhere in youtube the title was " The future of Banking in digital currency"
perhaps, they saw the future coming of crypto's so most bank now are little by little are embracing crypto currencies too.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: just a simple question? on: October 03, 2017, 08:09:48 AM
Why is china so influential with bitcoin prices?
It can be deny and no doubt that China is one of the powerful country in the whole world, then in terms of bitcoin China also is one of the biggest Bitcoin mining farm in the world too. but not so influential because there are still other country that are more influential than China.
740  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: October 03, 2017, 07:40:46 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin
For what reason why you are quitting your job? Well I guess, the decision is still in your hand. Besides, you know what you are doing and if you think that it will be a good choice, well then go! But if you have a doubt even a small things don't give up your job.
