'Responsible Gaming' is just something sites comply with to take the gaming regulators off their backs.  Sites don't really care about you.  They just want to generate rake.

I suggest SWC just comply just so nobody can say sh*t.

^  Lol.  Uh no...  The joker isn't played.  And it's not actually that complicated.  I'm finally getting the hang of it after some practice.  Smiley

It's actually quite easy, tho the scoring is really complicated.  But the site handles all of it, so your only goal is to make the best three hands possible out of your cards.
7203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play poker to train trading on: March 19, 2019, 01:40:35 PM
I totally agree.  One huge thing that poker has taught me that translated well in trading is good bankroll management and it's ok to fold and take small losses here and there.

They're both skill games.
7204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 19, 2019, 01:35:38 PM
Chelsea should sign a new coach. Its clear this is not working right now and they need fresh start next season. They have some good players and good abilites to play better.

Well...  That's not a problem with Abramovich.  I mean he's one of those club owners who embraced the idea of changing the manager whenever he isn't happy with the outcome.  It's why we have such a a crappy football culture (in that aspect) today.  And it made the players whiny.  Lol.

Agree with you, Abramovich has been a real poison to Chelsea's football. He pokes his nose way too much into manager's decisions and even when the manager tries what he can, he could easily be fired.
Also Chelsea seem to have a curse with hcenter forwards.

In the recent times i think it's only Drogba and Diego Costa who looked sharp in front of goal
The rest such as Torres, Andriy Shevchenko, Radamel Falcao, Romelu Lukaku,  Alexandre Pato, Claudio Pizarro, Alvaro Morata, Loic Remy etc have been a pile of garbage.

Without Abramovich Chelsea would be nothing. Before he arrived they won nothing. The reason they’re not as good now is that we have the emergence of LFC & Man City. When Chelsea were dominating there was only really Man Utd who were great. Now LFC & Man City have just as much money as Chelsea. Spurs are a good team too, I think Abramovich is bored at Chelsea now too, he doesn’t invest as much money.

I don't think so cos some other monied individual or group would be buying Chelsea FC anyway...  Some Arab prince, some Chinese billionaire or some American business group specializing in sports...  Somebody.

And claudiauit, even Costa can't really be said to be as successful as Drogba at Chelsea.  Droba's immortal.

Hey guys...  Here's a classic video of Thompson vs Johny Hendricks.  I know most of you know or at least recognize Pettis at first glance.  But for some weird reason some of you don't really know much about Thompson, so watch it.

Enjoy.  Wink

^  Yeah I'll prolly do a couple of EPL bets for fun.  But nothing I'll take seriously...  It's time to take a break.

^  Cool.  That could come in handy if some people on here get bitten by the poker bug.  And I hope we could form a little community of poker players that's outside the whole 2+2 crowd.  I just wanna have pure fun with the game.

Edit:  Is the site slow for anybody else?  Like seriously...
7211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 16, 2019, 01:16:59 PM
These are my last bets for the EPL this season if I lose.  West Ham - 1 vs Huddersfield and the over 2.5 on Bournemouth vs Newcastle.  It's another bad season for me again.  Lmao.  Cheesy
LOL
I bet you will bet again if you lose this bets. 🙂
It's an addiction and very hard to give up. I hope you don't lose much that you can not afford to lose.

I am thinking to place an acca 3 in today's match but still not sure.

^  Oh I will.  Lol.  But not on the EPL, I'll just wait for the new season.  I still got decent results at the CL tho.  And my UFC results are meh so far for 2019.

Wow.  Just now?  After all this time?  Rofl.  It missed a couple of bull runs there...  They should've just released their token two years ago, make some dough and worry about everything else later.

The devs who are doing it right from a profit perspective are the Larimers.
7213  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin will run up to $5,000 by May' on: March 16, 2019, 12:58:41 PM
^  Yup...  Predicting markets is futile, cos all we can really do is follow the trend.  And it looks like it's starting to go sideways and prolly getting ready to trend up.  Grin

I'd start betting inside the green box and hope it starts breaking out of it.

Again, I think the trend followers are in on this.  I see it's at 4k USD right now and could trend higher soon once the madness of the crowd come in.
7214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese Poker, Classic and Open Face Thread on: March 16, 2019, 12:45:31 PM
Lol, that Chinese Poker is what we call "Pusoy" here in the Philippines. I learn that game like 30++ years ago, hahahaha, maybe mid 80's. And it was still as famous as today in the country as far as I know.

People here play that game either as past time or with big money involved, I'm glad that you enjoy and wanted to learn that game, but I guess for Filipino gamblers they are really very familiar with this game.  Grin. Most experts can really arrange which way (and as strong) as they wanted it to be, even by just looking at the cards at the beginning  Grin

Then I guess you should invite them to play at SWC:  https://play.swcpoker.eu

I know I sound like I'm shilling the site...  Bit just in case you guys wanna play some Chinese poker online and don't where, now you know.  Smiley

The people behind SWC version 3.0 have seriously done a great job.  There are kinks here and there but nothing major.

Favourable draw for my boys LFC. No game at this stage is easy though, realistically any of the 8 teams remaining will feel comfortable about reaching the final. If you don’t believe that then you don’t know football.

Yup.  I want to believe Man United can go all the way.  I got a small futures bet on them to win the whole thing priced at 31.  Lololol.

After today we also know semifinals pairs
It will be  Tottenham - Manchester City vs Ajax - Juventus
and Manchester United - Barcelona vs  Liverpool - FC Porto.
So Liverpool fans  LFC will meet Man United or Barca in semifinal
Will be not any next semifinal drawnings

I get it now.  They drew the semis in advance, unlike last year.

And as much as I wanna see some beautiful football played between LFC and Barca, LFC vs Man United in a CL semi finals match up looks to be more exciting (to me).

I haven't checked yet but is SWC's hand histories formatted in a way that they can be converted into something that's easier to read (with suit icons and stuff) when you post a hand in a forum like 2+2 or maybe even here at BCT?

I think that's one think to look into...
7218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese Poker, Classic and Open Face Thread on: March 15, 2019, 02:46:51 PM
^  NLHE gets really robotic and repetitive if you've played it long enough.  PLO is where it's really at if you're into big bet poker.

Chinese poker is just plain fun without the stress of NLHE.  Smiley
7219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: March 15, 2019, 02:40:43 PM
And next matches are

Ajax (NED) v Juventus (ITA)
Liverpool (ENG) v Porto (POR)
Tottenham (ENG) v Man. City (ENG)
Barcelona (ESP) v Man. United (ENG)

Can we expect better matches, only on paper Ajax and Porto are weaker teams by team value, but dont underestimate them.

My prediction for the semi finals -

Barcelona vs Liverpool
Man City vs Juventus

Yes please!  And Barca vs City, LFC vs Juve would work too.  Grin

Anyway...  Couldn't really complain with the draw. At least we get only match up with two EPL clubs, and at least it's not City vs LFC.  Either one of those two dropping at the quarter finals would suck imo.

Edit:  Oh...  The semis are already drawn in advance for this season?

Final will be Juve-Barca  Messi vs Ronaldo El Clasico

Booo.  Grin

^  Yup.  The thing to look out for is any fighter who's below 25 years old, who's decent at fighting and a good personality.  If you find one, follow his/her fights.

Anyway, here are the weigh ins.  I'll post the YT video of the ceremonial weigh ins, it starts in three hours or so.  Official weigh ins are done.  One didn't make weight.
