Everyone want to become like satoshi  Just simply for money that many people creating blockchain projects but they don't have any real purpose other than bumps and dumps so people are investing on that for making money so the project will be left out once the creator made enough money. |

Hello, I have about 3 BTCs that I would like to earn a little bit off of...I tried BTCjam and most lenders didnt pay back, so I made negative there.. I dont know trading so I dont know how that would be... any other ideas?  Don't do anything with your bitcoins if you want returns only in long term,just HODL. Or you can try mining but it may not be that much profitable if the electricity price of your country is high and the price of bitcoin don't exceeds $10K.Don't try trading if you don't know about it. and i want to ask you ? you do not nkow how to trading  how to earing this 3 BTC  Anyone can simply buy bitcoins if they have money they no need to know about trading. |

If someone is saying you can make huge profits in very short term is one of the think that it will looks like a scam,but many newbie were attracted to it and lose all their money.So don't be too greedy and make money from your own investment,there is no elevator to the success you need to take the steps. |

I know this do take place in the forum because I have seen a very interesting post with good lesson and very educative but never get single merit and those rubbish post will be getting merit as if it's water, I think it time to start checking and balancing the way it's been given, good one .
I don't think these kind of posts will get merits,because most of the merits were shared in technical,meta and local boards,other boards were receiving less merits because some of the sections were spam and these sections is just to find the scammers. |

In my personal opinion only few coins like bitcoin, ethereum and few other coins will last that long, all other faster then bullet, partnership coins,and many other shitcoin will die. what you think?
Yes many of the altcoins were worthless so it may hide in few years but there were lot of new coins created by people everyday so at 2015 the number of crypto currencies were in usage will be more than now.But we need to pick only the best coins to invest so the shit coins will fade away by themselves. |

I think it happens because of loneliness and greediness of the person.People are here to be a millionaire without any working and they consider gambling like an investment and playing with their hard earned money and losing more and more will leads to depression and in the thought they want to get back their lost amount they wll continue to do then it will leads to addictions as well.

Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis: https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money. Although free channel has helped me immensely so far but it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too. . Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
What do you meant by investment? Literally it means something that you put effort,money, hardwork, deep research and etc. So now how will you convince anyone to stop Bitcoin an investment? If i bought bitcoin last year with a price of $1,000 and now it's above $8,000 should i not call it an investment? I invest money,time and patience here so i think there aint wrong by calling my bitcoin my investment cause i don't have plan to sell it not unless it reach $50,000. I think the OP meant to say that stop treating bitcoin as an investment because it wan not meant to be like that by the creator of the bitcoin.You still consider bitcoin as only investment because you have plan to sell your bitcoin when it reaches $50000 which simply makes bitcoin as dump and bump coin.We should use the bitcoin for what it menat for if you want bitcoin to have great future. I agree with you but the problem is bitcoin is made to take out third party like banks to interfere with payments though what is happening now is the reciprocal. Government is also here trying to take advantage of the massive gain cryptocurrency are earning. Bitcoin was not supposed to be an investment but its different now and with the involvement of many companies in bitcoin i think it is time to call it the digital investment We can be restricted from bitcoin even it is decentralized until people are converting crypto into fiat and vice versa.Yes we can keep it as investment but aim for the future usage not just for the money.Maybe in future the value of bitcoin will mount to huge level so imagine how much you can make from investments if you keep very long term investment. |

Im wandering what the best way to get onto an exchange using fiat currency is?
Theres two options ive read about:
1,)
Purachasing btc or ethereum on coinbase or localbitcoin. Then sending the btc/eth to an exchange such as bittrex.
Cons to this being you have to pay two lots of fees... coinbase plus bittrex.
2) use kraken to trade fiat direct to many other altcoins. Con being it's slow to lock in price (which with the volatility seems like a game breaker..)
Have i understood this correctly?
Is the best method: wait for a dip in eth price. Buy on coinbase with a bank transfer (1.49% vs 3.99% on debit card)
Then transfer to exchange such as bittrex.
Or is there a better way?.. perhaps without two lots of fees or waiting around with currency/coins in limbo.
Id like the option of buying into altcoins. So sticking with coinbase/localbitcoin isnt an option..

I think there are lot of other exchanges other than kraken allows the people to buy the crypto currency with fiat,but I never used any of them yet because I always buy altcoins for short term trading material with my bitcoin so I never needed any other options yet. |

Or some people just want your account to be worthless because you have good merit records so some haters (no need that he hates you personally,he may want your account to be useless for some reason I think) want your account to have negative trust or they just want earn some money. So what you're saying is, basically anybody can ruin an account this way ? A guy uses your handle to cheat bounties and if someone believes you're the cheater, you can't do anything about it ? Any idea how to avoid this ? If someone uses same address for different accounts in joining bounties,or the same twitter account link in different accounts then chance of getting negative trust from the DT members.The only way to avoid this by proving that you are the actual owner of that twitter account. |

Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.

Yes,many people still don't want to trade their coins but I think there is no special skills need if you want to trade bitcoin in the long term.We just need to buy and sell at the right time,never trade it for loss until that just hold it.But actually I hate trading because this is the thing that causes too much volatility in the crypto currency prices. |

This question is specific to Muslims only Actually bitcoin and other crypto currencies were just currency so the matter is how you obtain this money will make haram or halal.I also read some muslim expert or scholar said that investing on bitcoin is completely accepted in bitcoin because it is not a ponzi or gambling.So I think you can invest. |

The reason why there has been a serious insurge of people into cryptocurrency mostly populated by newbies and novices is because someone somewhere told them they can make 100% to 500% in crypto within few days, lol but how many really had such experience.
The worst still is that some don't even think learning is necessary in the crypto market, and so they just invest their money in crypto and manage to know how to open and close a trade, and as soon as any candlestick chart turns red they dash their coins into the market in fear to cut off more loss and the cycle continues till nothing is left.
If you are doing this at the moment just quit crypto trading its not for you.
Most of the people doing crypo currency trading like a gambling,so if you don't have enough skills about trading and analysis then go with long term trading.It just need patience and the margin rate that how much you need profit from your investment,util you reach into that point just hold your coins. |
