7201  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this merit begging? on: October 06, 2018, 01:47:12 PM
Yes,it is merit begging and I saw many users who posted these kind of posts got negative trust from @TP and @Lauda for merit begging so most probably the user GmBoom also will get negged soon.
7202  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin discussion is back on: October 06, 2018, 09:22:47 AM
I think now the bitcoin discussion is heavily moderated by our mods because there were lot of shit threads were trashed immediately but there are lot of spam mega threads where the users still used to post the things again and again so we need to lock the spam megathreads to get back our bitcoin discussion.
7203  Economy / Reputation / Re: Campaign that gives incentives that post on their ANN thread on: October 06, 2018, 05:58:26 AM
The red tagging was for settling old scores. If everyone who bumps ANN thread is given a red trust, then half the members here will be having them. Red trust should be limited to those who indulge in fraud and cheating. What happened with me was abuse of the trust system.

If anyone should have been given red trust for that campaign, it should be the campaign manager. It is ridiculous to red tag someone just because he has participated in some bounty campaign. The bounty thread was there for many weeks. Why wasn't it closed down? And as far as I know, I am the only participant who was red-tagged. And this is despite the fact that I had admitted my mistake and deleted my posts.
You are not the only one tagged for participating in this campaign, totally three people were negged and you cans see the above posts to know who are the remaining posts. The trust system was forund for the scammers but it also is a sign of untrustworthiness so if you did something related to this they you also maybe tagged.Do you know some people were even tagged for replying in the thread which looking for the escrows for high amount just because he never been an escrow before.
7204  Other / Meta / Re: What is difference in privilege of banned user vs Guest user in this forum? on: October 05, 2018, 08:10:33 PM
Banned user will still have their avatar and personal text I think but their signatures will be removed completely. And I saw in some screenshots of banned users they still have merit button in that place but they can't be able to send merits since theymos has fixed it already but the guest user can only see the posts number with hastags.
7205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 05, 2018, 06:39:12 PM
Yesterday, my friend who is younger than me came to my home and talked about many things. He said that one day he found about bitcoin gambling site and he finds that how it could easy to play the game without using any money and only use the coin which he can get by free. And he starts to play with limit free coin and still, he is curious about this, and I explain more about the bitcoin gambling, and I tell him to not playing bitcoin gambling too often because he cannot make any money. I hope that he listens to my advice and stay away from the gambling site.

From this, I think as long as that person can access the internet with easily, soon, he will find about gambling site, and he will try to play and if he cannot control his emotion then soon or later, he will get addicting in the gambling game. I am too worry about this because if that person decides to continue to play, then he will lose much money.
If someone gambling for earning then they should stop doing this but your friend looks like not playing for money even if he do he is just doing from the money from faucets or free bonus which may not affect him at any cost but still time limit also important to stay away from gambling addiction.
7206  Other / Meta / Re: Evolution of rank names on: October 05, 2018, 05:25:01 PM
The new rank above Legendary can be only a matter of prestige. Now almost have no any different between Hero and the Legendary member so new rank it will not change anything except for few members who would meet the conditions, they will be more influential
Actually a rank above the legendary is needed to ensure the introduction of merit system's effectiveness because as others said if someone shitposting for years will be a legendary now but if they never earned any merits since the introduction of merit system then they don't deserved to be in the top of ranks.I hope a rank above the legendary will be implemented in future which needs 2000 merits and the name of rank might be Elite member or something like that. Spamming one liners is what you call "hard work"? Roll Eyes

I joined this forum in 2012 (even before your registration date). I worked really hard for the popularization of Bitcoin and I have made close to 20,000 posts here. And how many "one liners" could you point out of my 20,000 posts?

I have a lot of friends and enemies here as a result of my political views. I made a mistake and you used it to destroy my 6 years of hard work.

I am not going to beg to you. I have already admitted that I have made the mistake. Everyone does.
You made lot of posts in this forum but you don't read the rule of this forum before? But the rules are rules you maybe get second chance only from the user who left the feedback but already lauda said that it is not going to be removed.ANd moreover if you beg you may get ban because it is against the forum rules too. 7208  Other / Archival / Re: Obvious spammer, copy paste same reply more than 80 topic. Mod. please ban him on: October 05, 2018, 12:40:25 PM
The user who is copying their own posts also will get permaban as per this comment by our global mod but sometimes,I am also reported some duplicate posts (the posts which is not accidentaly created twice the user posted the same reply in two different threads) but one of the replies got deleted only,no permaban for him/her too.

It's a permaban. This is no different than copying someone else's post and if you do this then you have absolutely no intention of contributing here and you're 100% only doing it to farm your account and/or bleed bounties whilst putting in no effort at all. It's scumbags like these that are destroying the forum. If they're too lazy to actually make posts then don't bother.
7209  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of money from barter system to crypto currency on: October 05, 2018, 05:23:20 AM

In the old age,few centuries ago people uses some money system which is called Barter system to buy and sell their products. This system works like exchanging their products between two people when they are in need but they realized that that system has flaws and not suitable for everyone since if there is no demand for one's product he can't buy anything he needs so later they moved to currencies (paper money) until now people uses this as their main form of payment but in digital format but people needs to understand that this also has flaw of centralization so we need to move to the decentralized money for better life.Lets get update ourselves to use the crypto currencies.

You're driving people to a misconception and are making them think centralization is bad, its not. Crypto isn't the best form of currency, FYI. Fiat is, no matter what, for now. Crypto isn't a replacement for fiat, the crypto markets are way too volatile for them to work on a nationwide currency, and being on a specific nation's favorite.

People just didn't move towards paper currency, people have used precious coins and other things as a means of exchange.
I am not misleading or misconception the idea of decentralization,I am just said how the money system evolved and now we are at the next step towards to money system which is called decentralization.Maybe bitcoin or other crypto currencies can act as currency system in the future if people makes the stable price for it for that we need to acomodate bitcoin into full adoption not for the trading purpose only.
7210  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of money from barter system to crypto currency on: October 04, 2018, 09:41:22 PM
The most realistic outcome in my opinion in terms of mass adoption is that people see bitcoin as an alternative, or parallel to the fiat banking system. Some may even choose to use it exclusively as people already are doing now. But a decentralized crypto completely replacing fiat seems like a far fetched idea for now.
We even never thought 80% of people in the world using smart phones before 10 years but now it is the reality so when people starts to accept it then it will move to mass adoption because people were most likely ship they just do what other were doing. Grin

What did I do wrong? And that red trust slapped on Me...
You enrolled in a campaign where they were asking you to bump their ANN thread which is against the forum rule.

Now you know what you did? Kiss

So now I know after you explain it

When I enrolled their bounty, They weren't asking for bumping Their ANN Thread, They have asked for post on 7 different ANN threads

The Fact:
I did post on many (7) different ANN threads not on MIXIN ANN Thread
So Technically I did not bump their ANN Thread

So all that reasons above enough for normalizing my trust status?
Ohhjj a twist in this discussion but in their rules they never mentioned where to post those 6 meaningful post to get the stakes for that week but surprisingly they asked for 7 post's links of ANN threads.
It was a mistake from my part. I have deleted all my posts in the ANN thread. I request the mods to give me one more chance by removing the negative trust. I have been a member of this forum for the last 6 years and this is the first time I am getting a red trust.
I doubt that it is going to be removed because the user who gave you the feedback was Lauda  Shocked but as a very veteran member of the forum who should knows about the forum rules before joining on bounties. So I think you have to live this life with that red trust forever. Lips sealed

Looks like an Indian exchange, right? How long since the exchange is working because I never heard this name yet until saw your thread but still I am afraid to deposit any money into this website.
7215  Economy / Reputation / Re: Campaign that gives incentives that post on their ANN thread on: October 04, 2018, 06:25:46 AM
We also need to use the report to moderator button with comment saying asking their bounty users to post in ANN account so their ANN thread will be moved to trashcan and their account will get permaban.
7216  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abusing/farming/trading on: October 02, 2018, 05:55:54 PM
Already there is a thread created regarding MalReynolds merit abuse to the newbie account here : [Merit abuse] Legendary account MalReynolds

Then in the next case where a positive trusted member Asurmen send 10 merits to the account Kuflama so this maybe the alt account of that positive trusted account.
7217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much can you earn from signature campaigns? on: October 02, 2018, 04:15:45 PM
There is no fixed earning from bounty signature campaigns since they are following stakes based rewardsbut myself enrolled in bitcoin payment signature campaign where I am getting $25 in bitcoin per week and sometime the bonus will result to $50 per week so I can earn maximum of $200 and minimum of $100 per month.
7218  Other / Meta / Re: [List] of the most weird usernames registered. on: October 02, 2018, 01:34:43 PM
BTW, how often you can change it? Is there any cool down time?
No idea, never tried. I like my name Smiley

Edit: this is what it looks like, but I don't dare hit "send":

So donators no need to ask for the theymos to change their name?! Since they can edit their name from that box and enter the current password will change into the new name, unique feature tho. Cheesy
7219  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Merit abuse] Legendary account MalReynolds on: October 02, 2018, 08:45:32 AM
There maybe three kind of views about this case.

The first one is that all the accounts which got merits from the sold account or altaccount of the same person who purchased that MalReynolds account in recent days.

The next is he sold all the smerits from the purchased account to earn some money which he used to buy that legendary account since that account has no value at all after getting negative trust.

The final one is he wanted to ruin some other accounts of bitcointalk with negative trust so he just pick some random newbies and send smerits to them since that account holder knows that his account will be traced when give merits to others, just because of the jealous or anger he did that since I notice that the all newbie account which got merits were registered very long time ago, even in 2011
7220  Economy / Reputation / Re: To DT members, Is using bot for social media bounty worth for a RED TRUST? on: October 02, 2018, 07:17:35 AM

Using bots is not against the rule but if someone using the bots for spamming the bounties then they deserved to be banned and already lot of account using bots were banned. But the problem is they can easily come up with a new account to spam again,so we have no other tool now other than keep reporting them.
