Unlike many wrong speculations as we can see now price is recovering again from $1000 yesterday up to $1093 today and hopefully will continue to increase back to $1200+ in no time. I'd never lose my faith on merely incorrect speculations.

Ok so due to BU the size of blocks can be increased which will result in faster transaction confirmation and eventually less price so my question is (correct me if i am wrong) What's stopping some another stupid developer to create another fork in which he increases the supply of bicoin lol and majority of the nodes start accepting that? May be then all the hodlers will be doomed?
In this case a lot of the conspiracy theories. Because this will have a relationship between the miners and the stupid dev. a higher price attracts attention and convinces people that bitcoin is valuable. the psychological effect brings in more capital and higher adoption.
It does really matter thats why many are investing with bitcoin because of the opportunity to earn if they put their assets on it. buy when low then sell when it goes up thats how it is. adoption will likely not growing if the price of btc is stable. The price dump could not be permanent, everything requires timing in order to find the real value in buying and selling. I will never become rich with bitcoin as it is not my primary source of income and its only a extra income for me and I don't think that anyone can become rich with side income but I am satisfied with my small earnings as it is definitely helping me in many ways.
If you manage to have a knowledge on trading even at side job there is a possibility that you can get rich. Playing Bitcoin - Altcoin trading, and being able to get in the train before it left, you can possibly get rich with it. It just needs time though. I have seen several altcoin from dust BTC price to something like 0.01 and above. Those who bought at it at a very cheap price and hold will surely get rich with it. Yes, you can get rich with all these things like altcoin trading, saving bitcoins etc but all of these require time.It is not like that you will get rich with bitcoins within hours or days. Bitcoin - gold will hold its purchase value if something goes wrong with the US dollar, while bit coin will skyrocket if something goes wrong with the US dollar.
Bitcoin will probably skyrocket and gold will hold steady even if things are fine in the US due to everybody already knowing about gold, and adoption of bit coin driving prices.

It is obvious that funds were replaced from bitcoin into eth and dash I think people are realizing that they can use other alternatives to bitcoin as well and they have somewhat the same potentials.
It may very well be that certain people shifted their priorities temporarily to trading altcoins due to their heavy fluctuations, but that's nothing new. ETH and Dash are being pumped with money from very wealthy individuals that hold the far majority of the circulating coins/tokens in their portfolio. Do you seriously think that the extreme pumps that altcoins experience is coming from legit demand? If the people behind these massive pumps didn't had the majority of the circulating coins, then they wouldn't have any incentive to pump the price. ETH and Dash don't enjoy any sort of real world usage. They purely function as speculative investment options for with greed filled people. MLM was also mentioned to play an important role, but I can't verify how far their importance is when it comes to these pumps. Ethereum is starting to be adopted quicker than you'd think, AlphaBay a darkmarket is adding Ethereum as a payment method because bitcoin can't fulfill that role any longer  . ETH also has Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, which is basically an alliance of companies that are working together to see how they can use ethereum for their companies... It's unfortunate how a lot of bitcoiners refuse to realise that alts are catching up to bitcoin quick.  The ethereum alliance is such an example about how the serious of ethereum dev. But if the bitcoin will be applying on the alpha bay it means if the bitcoin doesn't having a chance to get a legalism in the future. We are know if the alphabay is the big blackmarket and containing a lot of the illegal stuff. and it's not good if the bitcoin will be accepted on the alphabay market. China had never been in control of bitcoin market. It was just an illusion that they do control it. Though probably the market is controlled by people who have an enormouse amount of Bitcoin and had been made a huge profit during the 2013 bubble. And the news about PBOC are just a misunderstanding. PBOC just want to have an exchange that follow the government rule. In bitcoin, it is only the the people control the price and volume and if majority of people in china uses bitcoins, it means they can collectively make strategies and control the greater share of the bitcoins. It reflects on the block voting. But to control the price and volume of bitcoin will not possible for the Chinese. The strict rule by the PBOC was making a limit access for the Chinese community to make another manipulation for the bitcoin right now. I think this is still a debate, many users of the bitcoin is optimistic about the future of the bitcoin will replace the fiat money, I think it still takes long process, because the Government needs political support to approve the wearing of bitcoin.
A very long process that need to take by bitcoin to be implemented as a world currency. Even though there where country that let people use it as their payment yet there were countries that totally contradict with the function of it even there are lots of advantages. Bitcoin is on a long path to become the world currency. Although Bitcoin is used everywhere, there are not many people recognizing this cryptocurrency because they still believe in Fiat and tradition currency. Moreover, some countries even ban Bitcoin for no reason Bitcoin is already a world currency as well as other cryptocurrencies due to their nature that they can be accessed and used all over the world and crossing boundaries and not is limited by just one country like traditional currencies. But even bitcoin is a world currency it is not the official legal tender and so it can never replace the fiat currencies that are existing right now. yes that is right to say that bitcoin is already an international currency as bitcoin can be use as currency in all over the world and hope thatn in future it will become more and more popular. Nothing to say about the statement bitcoin as an international currency. According to the massive adoption and bitcoin have a lot of the users around the world. and it would be assigned as a common aspect. But by determine the bitcoin from the institutional recognition and it looks like bitcoin is not an international currency. Bitcoin price dropping and climbing to highest level is not new at all. If it dropped to $1,000 then lets be happy because we can take advantage of the price and buy some coins. Last year price of BTC is only $807 compared to what we have today. If you bought coins last year waited and sell it today, you made 32% profit, better than what traditional Banks are offering. Patience is virtue.
People are constantly shouting that they want the price to drop so they can start buying, but when the price is in fact dropping, they lose all confidence and think it will drop deeper, with the result that they still aren't buying. You are right I also see people even saying that when the price reached to 41 then they will buy as much as possible but it is sure that even with smaller drop they lose their confident and do not dare to buy. By the way I like the price rising higher as we can buy at any time and the next hour we see the price increased and we get the profit. Simple think it is not the time to sell as the price is much high we have to wait for some more time then we have to sell. Even the price goes down not a problem we can buy the coins for the future investment. I think so, looks like the price will recover again. but it's just for a little bit. And just waiting for the correct time to sell our bitcoin right now. There will potential for the bitcoin to gets the another bottom. |
