7201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 21, 2015, 04:49:02 PM
I'm sure "banning" (making it illegal to use) will work well because it's worked so well with drugs. What's next, the war on Bitcoin?

Why only banning will work? It can easily be regulated by the Government and by Bank adopting the currency. Banning it is not a solution as it is being used by many websites and companies too. Banning it will make so many bitcoiners losing their money which is not right as not ALL the users are involved in the illegal activities.

Yes the government wants to control everything. They want it all under them. so the possibilities are to be adapted by government and used rather than ban it or they will have no profit at all.
7202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 21, 2015, 04:47:01 PM
I think it's the media that's stopping most people from using bitcoin. They shed bitcoin in a bad light and because everyone isso involved into the media, they believe whatever they hear through the media.
They don't take a step back and think for themselves. Bitcoin is not mainstream so if someone's neighbor is not using it, neither will the rest of them.

I agree with this. The media is always only talking about bitcoins used for illegal activities or terrorist activities but rarely do I see positive articles wherein the uses of bitcoins are explained and mostly these articles are written by bitcoin users. There are some articles that just speculate bitcoins being involved in frauds and I want them to stop as this is the main reason many people refrain from using bitcoins thinking it's illegal.

Yes completely right. Talking about lies in the newspaper and other communication the televiaion or radios. Maybe it is the government too that is paying them to tell lies about bitcoin so it can put down.
7203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: December 21, 2015, 04:45:01 PM
I earned 0.04 BTC from my signature campaign and this 3rd payment and i'am very happy with this signature Smiley

Wow so they pay a lot there. I might consider telling my friends to join that campaign. I hope there are still some slots left for them.

i earned some today posting some sensible stories. Great to have a bitcoin wallet.
7204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why even use BitCoins? (read the post!) on: December 21, 2015, 08:22:42 AM
Simple, you shouldn't.

If you don't value the things which Bitcoin can provide (censorship-proof value transfer / store of value which can't be accessed without permission of the private key controller), don't use it.

Now, someone who wants to send or store value without the help of a middleman or the permission of an authority, they turn to Bitcoin.

Simple comment but actually real. That is reality having bitcoin is like having something that you want secret. You want it to be yours only not being controlled by anyone. And that is what bitcoin can provide to you. An anonymous human but with money.
7205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 21, 2015, 07:50:08 AM
I dont think it will be banned that easily. There are lots that have happened that costs bitcoin to be a bad money. Still there are those who believe. As long as there are people protecting it, I dont think it will be removed that easy. Plus there are also big people that uses this kind of currency.
7206  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 21, 2015, 07:47:48 AM
Working towards as many bitcoins as I can.  Right now I have .. some amount of bits that may are may not be 1BTC or greater.

I'm going to hold whatever I do earn for as long as I can.

Great ways of profits. Hold it and dont use it yet. Let us wait for that big wave that will be coming this 2016. I believe bitcoin and I wanna see it grew more as time flies by.
7207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2015, 07:46:21 AM
What will soon happen is that the re sellers will calculate that into their product cost in which they would be the ones covering that fee.  This will make us customers feel more secure and not be so frustrated when paying a fee for something that they are purchasing.

Yeah! unlike those credit cards where you are paying what you didnt get. It is not stealing? Here you can pay of what is just have to be paid. No more, no less. You can see your balance and you control how many you will spend.
7208  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: December 21, 2015, 07:44:16 AM
It just proves that how secure and anonymous bitcoin is.

That is why it is also used for gambling. Being anonymous in this timeline of the world is a great deal for a lot people now. They dont want to be known, they want no trace of what they do. I myself think that bitcoin is one of the great ways to feel safer whenever you will transact with someone.
7209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 21, 2015, 07:42:09 AM
the reason people having doubt about bitcoin is its instability, right now bitcoin is able to compete side by side
with fiat, but if the instability got worse bitcoin will not be able to attract any investor.

Yeah that is correct. But stability is said to be gain when it is being lead by someone with greater power. Just like the government. Fiat are stable because they are controlled by someone. Unlike Bitcoin, it is not controlled you have your own wallet and you can do what you want with it.
7210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 21, 2015, 07:39:57 AM
We can use bitcoin to buy things. That is different from other "real money". So I think bitcoin is real money.

Yeah that is right. Some think it is not because they havent tried using it yet outside. They think it is just a money online. Like those games that you can buy premium items with your online money. And thats it for them.
7211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2015, 07:38:32 AM
maybe lending trusted people on bitcoin lending website is a good example to invest bitcoin in also investing in gambling websites is also high paying

And where can we find those website that can be trusted by lending. People nowadays, when they see huge amount of money they started thinking of running away with all those money that is not from them.
7212  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2015, 07:36:33 AM
2016 will be the year of Bitcoin's price rise. Also it'll remain stable at $400 sharp.

400 is good stop for now. 2016 might be the greatest rise if it will go until 600 It is reachable though. Because there are still more buyers there that is seeing the potential of bitcoin.
7213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: December 21, 2015, 07:35:19 AM

7215  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 17, 2015, 04:32:51 PM
maybe yes, maybe no  Grin

That is a safety answer. But some wants to answer that question so that other people will be boosted to grow their bitcoins. Just like me. I envy those who have lots of btc. I want to have that many too.
7216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2015, 04:30:47 PM
Bitcoins are not trees, you can't grow them imo but Regarding possible investment, gambling is so bad that I can't even consider an Investment, sites promising profit is as bad as gambling, lending it is a bad idea imo, just holding them for a while might be the best option.

that's not growing, either, when you hold you're only earning more by their intrinsic value, but your amount of coins is unchanged

the best would be to dump fiat for bitcoin, which also help the market growth even further

I agree with this. The more buyers the greater rise of bitcoin. So get all those money and buy some bitcoins Then you will see how it will be moving upward. Whales do that.
7217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 17, 2015, 04:28:14 PM
It is real to me.
It was a little more fun once my mining gear was paid for to buy stuff with it (fluffy Overstock down comforter :-).
Now I buy and spend and save

Mine was used for expenses daily. I just save for now. Christmas bonuses are coming so my bitcoins now wont be moving down it will be all profit for now.

7219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 17, 2015, 09:06:51 AM
Yes, i wait for price increase.

I am holding bitcoin for long-term investment.
I will sell it when the price increase to gain some profit from trading.

It is really hard to sell now due to the increasing process of bitcoin. Just seeing it rise I am still in the hard part to click that trade button.  Grin Might as well keep it still. We cant predict where it will go. It might still go up huge.
7220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 17, 2015, 09:04:43 AM
The internet itself was distrusted for several years before its use took off and exploded to where 80% of the world is connected to the net. Bitcoin will take off in a similar matter

With the internet, email made the common everyday man begin to understand it's potential. Because email virtually promoted itself... In all the schools, and offices world wide people were talking about this free method of communication and before too long the whole world wanted in.

Yeah that would be nice. But due to some bad history of bitcoin during its process where syndicates use this as their kind of payment people are still doubting bitcoin. And the government also makes it too bad.
