7201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 10, 2016, 08:17:10 AM
I would love to get my salary in bitcoins. There is not much problem but if I have to choose then I will take fiat because I cannot use bitcoins in daily real life and exchanging them to fiat will cost some fees so I will choose fiat.
the bitcoin can be used to load your debit card so you can withdraw your funds everytime you want and use it as normal credit card which most of your local bank provided, simple as that, and it's sure can solve the exchanging problem
7202  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: July 10, 2016, 08:15:54 AM
I'm 48. The only reason that I am participating in a signature campaign is because I might as well get a few cents here and there, for doing something that I am going to do anyway. I only own about 2 bitcoins, so this can hardly be considered an investment. It is more of a hobby for me. Once a nerd, always a nerd.
People are crazy. 48 can't be considered old! Smiley
where the heck do you live,so many youngster now having much disease due to unhealthy life cycle and 48 could be considered as old because they can survive 48 years better than the youngster themselves
7203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How cloud mining ponzis nearly ruined my bitcoin business completely on: July 10, 2016, 04:21:54 AM
I guess we can blame this to you alone.

We have repeatedly warned people of cloud mining sites being all scams and poses high threat to your coins but some just do not even care and went on with it.
Well, we can also say that this is a lesson learned the hard way.
that's right, warnings are everywhere in this forum if OP ever asking and trying to find out the feedback about every sites related to bitcoin,OP taking risk for getting involved into this Ponzi thing ,so,try to learn from it
7204  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: July 10, 2016, 04:20:05 AM

7205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 10, 2016, 04:18:26 AM
Many people hate the fact that they have not bought or mined years ago, the volatility also makes some of them be mad. But only a few people hate the Bitcoin itself, and I don't see a good reason for that.

Even because of late buying or mining that should not be the reason to stop. I am also a late earner and even if I knew that it might go up I didnt regret. There is still.a big profit in being late.
mad on thing which they just missed because of their own mistake is just dumb, how dare they can mad and blaming bitcoin because of this, the reason doesn't even make sense even it's real
7206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on with this transaction ? on: July 09, 2016, 05:15:17 PM
no need to worry about that. may be some one sent you with mistake. he will to contact with you. if he know  you. and if dd not contact you then you should give it to some needy person from his side.
lol no need to worry for what, for fuck sake it's kind of cheating and scamming attempt it's need to be worried, when the sender had sent the bitcoin and trick it with double spend the bitcoin will be rejected and returned to the sender, and it's such a hole for those scumbag
7207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In all SERIOUSNESS on: July 09, 2016, 05:12:50 PM
just only very few people who even know if there's halvening before this halving today was become so popular and being discussed everywhere, and yeah, seems no one going to write down our name on history books of bitcoin
7208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would like some help/advice on bitcoins. Future Leukemia patient seeking advice. on: July 09, 2016, 02:38:22 PM
I feel so sorry but investing in any form of online investments is such a risking your money, I know you really need the money and don't want to lose it so better keep your money,it's really important to pay your chemotherapy, maybe better for you selling things online so you can start business without need any energy, just sitting down in your house controlling your online store, and maybe you can hire an assistant to ship the stuff
7209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: July 09, 2016, 02:35:13 PM
I think that the future of Bitcoin is bright because Bitcoin has allot of potential and becomes more popular by day because of that.
With Bitcoin you will never know what is going to happen so I might be wrong.

I'm not too worried about the future of bitcoin, if the user continues to grow of course the future of bitcoin will be nice and seemed adoption went well for now

Yes right. Banks are now opening their ideas to get involved in this kind of currency. I know a bank here in our country that lets you exchange bitcoin into fiat. That is a big step. Maybe they are also hoarding some coins.
Wow that's amazing, in your country having a bank lets exchange bitcoin into fiat, but it's very rarely in my country even no one bank can let exchange bitcoins into fiat. we need to exchange the bitcoin in local exchange to get fiat money.
I wonder if the banks were accepting to exchange bitcoin into fiat,it means they already have the government approval to exchange bitcoin and also bitcoin already regulated there plus being legalized?
7210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How miners sell their Bitcoins ? on: July 09, 2016, 02:32:03 PM
I think they will hold it if they don't really needs and seeking for the right condition to sell it all,but they will selling it once per month so they can afford electricity and their needs but still holding a few to prepare any price rising, and I think they're not that dumb to sell instantly even when price falling
7211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving event: expectation vs. reality on: July 09, 2016, 11:46:29 AM
don't expect too much from halving, bitcoin price already increased before and there's only little possibilities for bitcoin to be rising again, even rising will not that much just see now price still stable at $650,halving only give affect to the miners actually not for those traders
7212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 09, 2016, 11:45:10 AM
how you can say that bitcoin transaction  is too slow  Huh i also use bitcoin and i think bitcoin transaction is much more better than other like banks and bitcoin transaction is too faster .

But you have to exchange your btc in the currency that is accepted in your country and this will take a lon time, Isn't it?? If you can buy goods online then transaction is very good for user.

Transaction can be too slow or delaying when you add low transaction fee. if you add valid fee for valid amount of bitcoin transaction then the transaction will done fast enough. I think OP just faced that issue thats why he is telling bitcoin is very slow. otherwise bitcoin is faster then any other payment system.
even you fulfill the minimum recommended fees, there's still possibilities for the transaction to got a delay, when bottleneck happening, too many transaction need to be confirmed when the block only max 1mb it'll result slow transaction
7213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy halving day on: July 09, 2016, 09:00:30 AM
people here so happy celebrating halving day when miners out there crying in their bedroom, how if the miners get away from bitcoin and bitcoin doomed? do you even thinking the negative effect of halving? should be prepared for this myself,i just being realistic and not thinking about the price only
7214  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 09, 2016, 08:55:33 AM
Today or within few days we can clearly predict whether 2017 seems to be the year of bitcoin. If price don't go high on halving surely 2017 will be the year of bitcoin than the ongoing year.
every year is a year of bitcoin as you can see the title of this thread changing every new year which before I see 2015 is the year of bitcoin, then 2016,and now 2017 LOL ,and if the price don't go high because of haliving mean 2017 is not better than 2016 when bitcoin price rising a lot
7215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corporations and Bitcoin on: July 09, 2016, 08:53:15 AM
I think large Corporations are already starting to see bitcoin as a payment instrument that is pretty good. maybe in the next few months, bitcoin has begun in use by several large Corporations. even a Corporations as powerful as paypal has already started to see the greatness bitcoin. I also think that someday paypal will use bitcoin
you don't need to think that someday paypal will use bitcoin because it was already happened, just see their recent  news, they having cooperation with coinbase and accepting bitcoin, now seems bitcoin can grow bigger with paypal rather than competing each other
7216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 09, 2016, 08:51:46 AM
No, if I also agree my company will not pay haha Because it is illegal currency in mu country. And one more thing I am not interested in taking my salary in Bitcoin. Because if I receive my salary through Bitcoin and next day, the price of bioticon went down means what I have to do. So I don't take the risk.
bitcoin has a very high fluctuation, was possible in one day the price could fall by more than 20% of the common and today the price fell $50 to $610. I'm sure if you received a salary of $1000 yesterday, now your salary is about $975~
I think it is a loss that is futile I prefer to receive a salary with fiat

if you're talking about sudden 20% price falling,it's already happening few weeks back, but this fluctuation is not going to be a problem if you keep your bitcoin on exchanger and exchange it to form of usdt so you get the same value of dollars but different in bitcoin
7217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: July 09, 2016, 12:14:23 AM
i thought bitcoin is simi anonymus but anyway i love it. it make my privacy safe and a best tool for busness. i can show my static to others any my relatives will not interfare in my thing
Why do you think that it is semi-anonymous?
It is not,if you know something about security like vpn's proxie's etc.you can make yourself almost invisible while using a bitcoin.
It is really a great this, and i thing that is enough for most people.
vpn and proxies? it have nothing to do with bitcoin, your transaction will be traced, proxie and vpn only give affect to your IP not for your transaction and keep in mind even you're using tor version of online wallet it won't give affect,oh I think you'll not going to get it as it already explained everyday and you still don't get it
7218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 09, 2016, 12:10:31 AM
People don't generally hate bitcoin. Most of them avoid it just for its volatility.
Also some of them doesn't like to accept the risks of it and want to avail the traditional system of investment.

Price fluctuations is the most important factor that keeps people away from bitcoin as they have fear of loosing their money by investing in something they really don't know.
You also do not forget that the fluctuation is also an important factor for short-term investments in bitcoin and is a major factor as well for a huge profit in a short time. there are many people who adopt bitcoin due to fluctuations. I think fluctuation like two sides of different coins

I commonly call people who adopt bitcoin due to its fluctuation characteristcs are trader, just see so many people seeking profit just looking on trading activities on few exchanger, sometimes thing which people consider as a disadvantage could gives us benefits
7219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase banned Germany & Luxembourg on: July 08, 2016, 02:54:23 PM
This is maybe a little off topic but it looks like Coinbase is getting stricter with rules. Did you guys know that it is a violation of their ToS to sell the coins in your Coinbase account on LocalBitcoins?? I'd been doing that the past maybe 6 or 7 months and never knew it was illegal. A couple of days ago I received a warning email from them saying that I was in violation of their ToS, that it is illegal to sell BTC from my Coinbase wallet on Craigslist, eBay, LocalBitcoins etc  Shocked

Yes, it's like that from the beginning, also you cannot gamble with coins bought at Coinbase, if you do so, your account will be terminated.

You need to obfuscate your activity from Coinbase.
I guess coinbase obeying the USA rules and consider it as part of their rules,it's normal if they're having office on USA and want to keep their business running, since USA really prohibit any form of online gambling,so does with coinbase, can't do anything and just can obey the rules
7220  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: July 08, 2016, 02:52:04 PM
i would go with the bitcoin wallet. though the price is unstable i think its safer over there.
But i would leave the 20% of my money to the bank  just to be sure.
with bank you can get guarantee when your funds are lost, stolen,or being hacked, but what with bitcoin? you can't get that when you're scammed that's why you're given restriction when get involved with a bank and you're given freedom when use bitcoin, there's have disadvantage and the advantage for both side
