7201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fork time / bloody october? on: October 03, 2017, 01:55:04 PM
Is this the beginning? How do you prepare your investments...?  Huh Huh Huh

I don't think that this is another doomsday for bitcoin. It may very well affect the price but its unlikely that its gonna be bloody. Well, we have seen just like month crypto bloodbath from the China news, but we have recovered. So just we should know by now that the best choice is just to hodl and buy in dips.
7202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: October 01, 2017, 01:38:43 PM
It depends on how much i will win.decause i dont really gamble though sometimes i do and i put small amount for it.but if i win big amount..i will invest business that i preferred in which is restaurant.coz i love to cook and to manage as well.😂
It's a very good idea to invest in restaurant, I hope that one day, you will do that, and you will have a great restaurants to manage. In my case, if i win a huge amount of money. I will withdraw around 80% of them and use it to buy stuffs that i would so much, and the rest i will bet with it again.

Same here. I will probably invest into something that I like. But It won't be as big as I restaurant but much smaller. Or I will put the other half by going buying houses and I will put it up for rent. You know that with the over growing population, people are looking for apartments to live in. So it gonna be a good and lasting investment.
7203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours saying Neo is now legal in China on: October 01, 2017, 10:51:36 AM
Hello,

I was checking out #neo on Twitter and saw a lot of articles saying Neo is legal as from today in China.
So this would be the coin not banned from the exchanges.

Does anyone have more info?

We have to wait and see as I don't see any news about it either. Maybe yes, maybe not. But my questions is there are so many altcoins out there, what makes NEO different that the Chinese government makes it legal?  The only thing that connects NEO to China, is that NEO is considered to be the Chinese ETH. So its a Chinese company. Let not speculate and just wait how this evolved.
7204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 01, 2017, 10:28:09 AM
Russia's Maria Sharapova put her recent US Open defeat by Anastasija Sevastova behind her with a gripping three-hour win over the Latvian at the China Open.
No matter how much she wins , these stupid people are just gonna talk about the drugs thing again and again . I do agree that she shouldn't been given wild card but she is done with that dope thing , she should be respected now .
Considering how she used the drug all the time during her tennis career which gave her an edge over other competitors is why she will never get any respect, her trophies should have been taken back since she cheated all that time and no one should give her any sympathy because she is a woman, Justin Gatlin is not being afforded that privilege since he cheated.

I agree. All her trophies are now tainted with illegal drugs and maybe 10-20 years from now if ever she get the chances to be nominated as one of the greats for this decade, I'm sure she will not get the nod because of all the illegal drugs issues on her. But still she have been given light penalty and even offered wild cards in every tournament. Only her beauty and not her tennis are being watch, IMHO. And the organizations are capitalizing on it.
7205  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise to 4300 $ on: October 01, 2017, 09:12:50 AM
BTC BTC rise  to 4300, What do you say about this spike ?

If you are going and reading around the forum, there was one good Technical Analysis that's say that the price going to $4100-$4200 is very critical. Why? Because is likely consolidating and if it holds then we are going to see a very bullish market. This is what we are seeing right now. And since it has already broken the $4200 mark, expect another bull run. So I didn't find it quite surprising to see the price going strong and rising again.
7206  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 01, 2017, 08:54:30 AM
We all know that trading requires more time and knowledge to be successful. So if you don't have the two factors more likely you will experience losses in your trading. But for some who have been gifted and have the guts, then they do trading even if they losses. They think of it as a learning curve and lessons learn. But for individual who don't want the risk of it, they can just buy bitcoin and invest on it and hold on it for as long as they can.

7213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: September 28, 2017, 08:02:12 PM
If this is the beginning of a new ATH, we might not only see Bitcoin hit $5000 again, but it will probably go above it. From a technical perspective it is supposed to break the previous high.

I already read some TA that this is a consolidation leading to a new ATH. But we need to see things and they evolved. Right now its still above $4100 but its down .50-.60% So its really hard to predict then. But lets remain positive that this is an upward trend and hope that it will continue before November and see the price goes to $5000 once again or even more.
7214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum - Britains first crypto opinion on: September 28, 2017, 01:39:37 PM
I've bought into the ICO as think if it gets mass adoption it's a great concept with real world use. Team looks solid and plans look really exciting (potential is humungous particularly for mobile mining to get non crypto users familiar with the tech and how to access the market).

Is always going to be speculative but I have a good feeling about it!
Don't invest in the ICO. You might find people wanting you to purchase coins during the ICO though the thing that you should do is purchase during the coins dump when it hits and exchange.

Correct, I have not watched this ico closely but unless they have everything ready it is not a good idea to invest in the ico, wait for it to hit the markets and wait until people begin to get exasperated by the development and they want out by doing this you can get coins with a very nice discount.

Yup. Look at bitdice ICO, that bounty hunters once they received their tokens starting to dump their coins once it is listed on HitBTC. So the price goes down a little after starting a good price. I have observed this to a lot of ICO as well specially once they got listed, there will be a good pump then th dumping continues. So I might as well wait how things will go before getting Electroneum.
7215  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-27] Russian Regulators Disagree on Crypto Regulation, Postpone to 2018 on: September 28, 2017, 01:31:16 PM
That's why I said that I take everything with a bag of salt. They always contradicts themselves to a point that it seems they are just talking nonsense and riding the popularity of bitcoin.

All Russian related crypto news should be discarded by default - they have done nothing to prove the public that their words hold value, so how are people supposed to take their words serious? It has been going on for a few years now, and there doesn't seem to be an end to this nonsense. I am glad that there are other countries doing that what is right, and properly implement the required regulations that this market so badly needs. Some people see regulations as a bad thing, but it really isn't - it's something this market needs to grow further.

I also noticed that as well. Russians love to talked about bitcoin and etherium but I haven't seen anything concrete about it. They said they are going to approved and embraced it, then next day other government official will say otherwise. Next, you will see Putin praising etherium and going anti-bitcoin. But later they will deny all of it and will issue a opposing statement. This doesn't really make sense and no sign that it will end.
7216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is PayPal now feeling the pressure from Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2017, 12:30:41 PM
Last year the same CEO of PayPal gave an statement that if he has known about bitcoin and the innovation in the past, he would have used bitcoin as the platform. I don't think such a pressure is there for PayPal, because it has an large user base and functions on a centralized system. Maybe in future both will function on a joint platform.

Yeah, he said a long the line that this is his vision for Paypal. But I think that they can't ignore the fact that bitcoin has gaining more popular specially this year and they are in a big challenge from it. I also disagree that they will function on a joint platform. There no way a decentralized system like bitcoin could work with Paypal. Unlikely to happen.
7217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is China still going to ban bitcoin exchange in China on: September 28, 2017, 10:14:31 AM
We can't really tell. They have taken a step back in their decision. So for sure if they might have a change of heart once they found out that their decision was not for the greater good of the Chinese community. And might suddenly make a U-turn again and allow the operations of their local exchanges. We have to wait and see how things pans out.
7218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: any one tell why ico ban in china?? on: September 27, 2017, 10:58:33 AM
The government of China says that the practice of raising investment by selling tokens in return for cash (ICO) is illegal fundraising. Thus, resulting to a total ban of it. Or maybe China is really affected economically because millions of dollars have been flowing in and out of their country because of Chinese investment of ICO. I read that it maybe a temporary ban, but if they would allow them again, the company should apply license before operating to ensure that only legitimate companies are able to use the method to raise funds.

7219  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: September 27, 2017, 10:08:05 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Maybe sooner, bitcoin will defeated gold value, this is my opinion.the only things bitcoin is greater than gold is that bitcoin can use in stock exchange while you cannot barter  gold in the market.bitcoin is visible and you can carry it anytime in your wallet, whenever you wer go, while you cannot carry gold anytime in your pocket because its huge.

By now bitcoin has already tripled the price of gold per ounce. But I don't know why people are comparing both of them because it is obvious that gold is physical while bitcoin is not. The only thing that I can think of is that they are good are form of investment portfolio, other than that no point of really comparing them.
7220  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW BITCOIN FAUCET on: September 27, 2017, 09:36:14 AM
Glad to see another bitcoin faucet. I might try to see if I can get free satoshi as the website has advertise. How much though is the minimum withdrawal? How much time to do you think that I need everyday to spend in doing faucet claiming? I'm seeing that people have said that faucet is not profitable and time wasting. Maybe I just need to allot some time in it per day that's why I'm asking. Thank you.
