7201  Economy / Collectibles / [WTB] St Petersburg BitPay BTC Bowl swag on: October 05, 2017, 08:34:06 PM
I lived in St Pete for years and sadly during when the game was played - had no idea what BTC was. I'm just curious if there's anything cool floating around out there having to do with this game? (I've got a Cas Coin, program and patch already). Thx!

Have the silver gilt BTC cash coins sold out?  I was trying to show a friend but am no longer able to pull up the picture (says it's password protected)?

A customer requested the remaining inventory to be saved until this morning so they could convert cash to BTC (we are no longer accepting PayPal). So it appears the line is sold out, I am sorry.

However if you were just looking to show pics to someone, you can view the images of the coin and all our other lines in the image gallery on the website: http://finitebydesign.net/image-gallery/

Oh and I ask as I was discussing it with a friend but also I wanted to post it on my Instagram account (PhysicalCryptocurrency).  I couldn't find a pic at the time so I posted about the Bitcoin Silvers in production instead.  Also tagged you guys in it.  Great stuff of late!!  thanks again.

I'm not sure there is any annually produced silver coin that increases in value quite like the Pandas! Congrats on the W!

Very nice book!!!
This is most likely the only place you will get a chance to get Mike Caldwell's (Casascius) signature .
Seemingly, well worth the half bitcoin price Cheesy

Good luck with your sale.

I guess I can forget asking Mike to sign mine!  Very cool item indeed!  Who else has signed?

It has been signed by Elias (elianite), the author
and then the 2 co-contributors:  Howard (bithalo) and Matthew (not on forum afaik)

Thanks!

Honestly, one of the best/easiest ways to value many coins (that aren't insanely rare/expensive) is by simply doing an eBay search for sold/completed items.

Well your website is really bad ass (half the crypto exchanges aren't set up that well!). I couldn't agree more. I love sharing  and seeing what others have out there as well! Only helps fuel our hobby, how I see it anyway.  I hear you about the whales around here though...I'd love to have 1/10th of what some of these whales have in their collection.

HAHA  Could not agree more! And yes it does fuel our hobby and at the same time it educates people on to what is out there...I point people to the site when they ask me about the various crypto currency collectables out there. It speaks for itself on what we are all about.

Exactly! Look forward to seeing that book of yours fill up even more so.

Hi Bro...I am blushing....Thanks! My collection pales compared to the whales around here but your compliment made my day, thankyou!  Cheesy

The whole point of the site is why have a collection and not share it? What better way than the web?

Yes please do share and thanks

Will be checking your site once I have a good cell signal..they block instagram on my work PC  Sad

Haha..funny

Holy sh*t Krogothmanhattan..your website is awesome!!! I started an Instagram page just for fun, same idea as you basically (my collection doesn't match yours hwvr). "PhysicalCryptocurrency" if you're on Insta and want to check it out. Would you mind if I shared your page on Instagram?

I assume you're talking about the clear plastic airtites?  The cheapest place to get them is eBay.  Nobody can beat their high volume sellers on shipping.

Same quality as air-tites.com?

Yes.  I'm sure they all roll out of the same factory.

I'll definitely have to check them out thx! Not all are created equal though as I'm sure you're aware. Air-tites are of the highest quality and bn a numismatic collector for years now..I've gotten plenty of junk capsules. Air-tites also have fantastic customer service! They will do customs too if they can (unfortunately no Kialara customs hwvr Angry )

S00006- @1.20
S00007- @1.20

How will you receive the coins, since they mention only shipping to china is available?

dont worry about the logistics my friend I have it under control   Wink
I have a very good friend who lives there flying for the airline and comes home every 3 to 4 months.

Ever thought about seeing if your friend there could get us some Kialara protective capsules made up?  Really wish I'd have thought about this earlier when I had family over there!
Kialara protective capsules??

Yup! Thx Owl! We both discussed this in a thread I made a while back and then Max commented on it when I asked him if he knew of any out there. I just figured if anyone on here is in China and owns Kialaras they might be willing to see if they could get something made..if any country could easily and cheaply do so! Max did say he'd first get them made for the To the Moons-if and when though. It's gunna be a great day when we can play with Kia's w/out worry!
7214  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Loaded 1 BTC Silver Casascius Physical Bitcoin - (2013) on: October 05, 2017, 01:16:56 AM
That titan coin is so cool and I'm a Titans fan.  I'd love to make a money clip out of it so that I can advertise bitcoin with all the foreign nationals I conduct business with.
Unfortunately, very worried about scams and compromising of private keys as I'm quite new.  Main concern is that these coins don't seem to be very liquid.  I'd be willing to offer 1.10 equivalent in fiat providing you help me with transfer.  I'd me more than happy to be a willing provider of feedback if all goes well.  That said, I would like to wait until the price sails down to about 3800 per BTC before pulling the trigger.

Titans are one of the best coins out there IMO, so I hear ya! But I'd definitely recommend (I know many others here much wiser than I would prob agree) not making a money clip out of a fully funded Titan coin. There's other coins you can use that would make much more sense for a clip.
7215  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] BlockErupters of USB Miners on: October 04, 2017, 09:28:53 PM
I realize this is a silly question to most of you, but I have one of these USB deals but I really have no idea what it's used for. Obviously something to do with mining but besides the use of graphics cards generality from NVDA or AMD, I'm in the dark. If it's a long explanation than no biggie!

Short answer: these mine bitcoin better than power hungry GPUs. Or at least that was the concept when they were first released.

Now they are pretty much just nice collector's pieces/decoration/conversation starters

Ahh that makes sense..bit surprised that they were able to keep up (at least for some time).  Thank you! Certainly a cool piece of history.

Sometimes I wonder what I could get for my Thug life piece.  BTC is x10+ since I purchased it.  My goal is to own every kialara piece that comes out.  Doing good so far.  Just wish I'd funded every piece now.

You can get a whole bunch of BTC for it that's for sure. Didn't even realize Max ever made these until like 2 weeks ago. Would kill for one but you can buy a very nice car for what those are worth !
