Yes, and charts with dinosaurs.
I would consider unignoring him if he provided dinosaur charts. absolutely

so its official stamps is the new gox we're all going to get stamped! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) my impression from my, admittedly brief, tenure over on the cool kids forum was that the smart money is on BTC-e...believe it or not

How is this useful at-all? It's not even an entertaining thread, just someone who can't follow a chain.
Well excuse me, I did find the thread entertaining. And if you found the gif so objectionable there was no need to quote it.

Has it been proved that anyone has actually got that data?
I've seen bits of php code floating around but other than that nothing other than FUD on reddit
well, 1700 lines is more than "bits" of PHP, but no, I have seen no concrete indication that user data is in the wild

what if the person who posted http://pastebin.com/W8B3CGiN is actually a white hat and they are keeping all teh Goxcoinz nice and safe for us?

Gee, I'm not sure, let me log into my Bitcoinica account and see how those old positions are doing.

The worse thing is that they are still claiming it is a bug in Bitcoin instead of owning up to that fact that their software and procedures were at fault! That's leads me to believe fraud on their part.
this, malleability as a "bug" has been so debunked, outrageous

any reports from the Gox call center yet?
|
|
|
MTGox is exceptionally dishonest and untrustworthy in the extreme. Anyone doing business with them is eventually going to wind up burned (again). I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of convenient security breach or hack that somehow manages to drain user accounts when there's a major problem or the insolvency of Gox actually starts things crashing down. All the signs are there, the secretiveness, the lies and stall tactics, etc... all major indicators of internal problems that they do not want the public to know. Just take it as a warning.
Wow, Josh called it spot on nearly two years early. pretty funny though if you take that quote and replace "Gox" with "BFL"

Litecoin and ltc/btc continue to drop. Today they dropped a lot more than I would expect given that bitcoin didn't really move much. Do any experienced traders see this as a bearish sign for bitcoin? Is it possible that people are losing confidence in the market and therefore are selling alt-cryptos first before selling their bitcoin?
Litecoin is being crushed by Auroracoin. Loads of hashing power has moved across. cool, maybe scryptguild will get some LTC blocks

If you guys don't stop picking on my person, I will have to take an extremely harsh punitive measure that you will not ever forget. You have been warned.
consequences will never be the same

Serious academics shouldn't make such statements
Keep in mind that Jorge is more than just an academic. He's a counter-revolutionary. Anything that does some kind of damage to Bitcoin is a straw of hope at which to snatch. Anything to forfend a future in which your children are not slaves of the fiat system. I'm afraid I rather agree
