7221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term or Long Term on: May 10, 2017, 05:10:08 AM
I would go for long term trading. I can say that its really good and applicable for me. I used to learn from being a panic seller and managed to become a short term or day trader. But I'm upgraded right now and I can say thay long term trading is applicable for me because I can handle my emotion and I'm not the same anymore.

these two strategies are not separate from each other so you don't exactly need to only choose one for your trading strategies. you can do both and also remember that different markets require different type of approach.
for example you can do day trading in both altcoin and bitcoin market but long term investment only works with bitcoin and not a single altcoin is good for that.
Just follow the trend and you shall succeed, now that bitcoin is getting its good value most altcoins are currently on dump, you can buy now and expect to make profit again once bitcoin starts to neutralize, it's a hard job to do really if you are doing it for short term trades.

However, if you look for long term trade, technique that I used is I buy at dip and keep it longer, it gives me success doing it, just be patient to wait.
7222  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: May 10, 2017, 01:54:56 AM
Bitcoin will not be able replace fiat for now because of several factors. Among them are unstable bitcoin exchange rates and international laws protecting bitcoins dont' yet.

Yes there are a lot of factors that bitcoin really can't be considered for replacing fiat. Even the price is getting higher and higher nowadays still that is not going to matter because in the end the government is the one that will be followed and law makers are coming from the. But let's see one day we will be having paperless transactions.
It's not about the price but on the adoption, fiat is adopted by all people in the world and even users of bitcoin is using it regularly, with the success of bitcoin will just make the transaction faster and will also increase the circulation of fiat, it's like fiat to bitcoin and then bitcoin back to fiat so at the end of the day all bitcoins will be converted to fiat in order to enjoy its value.
7223  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 THIS WEEK 105BTC GOES TO ASH AND 75BTC TO SOOP! 🎰🎰🎰 on: May 10, 2017, 01:33:14 AM
Almost all sites ask for some form of verification these days and this is on of the more popular ways to do it. By google capatcha solving.
I just wish their would be a better way to do this. Cause I do run into it not taking the right picks when the correct pictures are chosen. Resulting in it just never ending cycling.
Not just this site but on several of the sites which end you to complete so to go on to the site.

Captcha, re-captcha and all of these systems, for verifying if you are human, it's a little bit of joke.
You can also put bot for solving them or bypass them. So why to put it?

Indeed if you or the captcha system get stuck, in most sites you just want to...smach the screen!
Or your keyboard, mouse... Grin
Sometimes also when you internet connection speed is very slowly you can barely load the pictures which is very irritating especially if you are in a hurry to gamble to chase your loses. Not only this site actually and sometimes this will cause inconvenience but we have to understand that it's for security purposes for the benefit of the site and to it's supporters.
7224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 09, 2017, 01:08:46 PM
In my opinion , I don't think alts have chances against Bitcoins. Bitcoin will stay on top but alts might try to take its place and we really don't know what the future will bring but so far or as of the present it's a no in my opinion.
Additionally we need to be realistic about our expectation in the cryptocurrency market, that Bitcoin the most highly valued cryptocurrency has not yet fully tap the majority of the consumer market yet, and you think there is a room for one more cryptocurrency. Bitcoin as a currency needs to grow first, and what I mean about that is both consumers and sellers are accepting Bitcoin as a kind of currency. If that happen there will be a possibility that people will start to look for another cryptocurrency in the market that is suited to be an alternative to Bitcoin.

Yes, some have not even heard of bitcoin. So it is quite possible the emergence of another stronger and more popular currency.
We are surprise by how the way bitocin grow this big so I'm pretty sure there will be more surprises in the future, we cannot discount the potential of altcoins because combining all of them will beat the marketcap  of bitcoin already, that means as bitcoin grows altcoins are also growing it overall they are making a great progress. There are some alts that we think will beat bitcoin in the future so it's good to save it now while the price is still cheap.
7225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 09, 2017, 11:45:24 AM
Impressive Golden State in these playoffs.
I am convinced that they will win the Ring this year.
Curry-Durant-Thompson-Green-Iguodala is a very strong team.
If Golden State does not have injuries it will prove to be significantly stronger than Cleveland
I'm with your in your prediction man, they play without hesitation and it seems the ball moves very well whenever they play. The cavaliers are good and I don't their capacity but with the addition of Durant it will just make this team more better, all guys on the floor can score and defend at the same time, there is a little chance they will not gonna make it this year.
7226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 09, 2017, 08:55:47 AM
The answer is quite simple because bitcoin has a good value than dollars
abd this digital currency is not controlled by a monetary system like your Central fiat currency that is controlled by your government.
The reason you should invest your money into it cause in the future it will a huge price value that it may reach $500000 after 20 years it's s good long term investment. So that's basically it.
to me i think the only difference is that bitcoin is a digital currency while real money is paper money, we cannot use real money for online purpose for that you have to pass though different process and only then you can become able to use your paper money for online purpose. while bitcoin can be use for online purpose without changing it into any other currency. most of the online shops are now accepting bitcoin for online shopping.
Real money could also be in the form of digital and can be use online, the difference with bitcoin is it is still under the control of the government since we are adopting the centralized system regulated by the government. Bitcoin is popular now because it's decentralized which is not a conventional way of payment processor and in general it gives more benefits to us users than using a fiat system based.
7227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum - Completed! on: May 09, 2017, 08:40:49 AM
Any info on development?

Beta release is coming this quarter, the longterm full product is however no to be released before 2018
That's why everyone should have the control to hold their LUN, it will grow to a bigger value if you could wait a little longer.
Bitcoin is currently acting crazy now, it does pump and pump which causes the value of LUN to drop a little, I would have to buy more now as I
heard bounty will also be release today.
7228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: May 09, 2017, 02:23:16 AM
Hello, I would like to buy many Bitcoins and also altcoins...what exchange would you recommend me that has the most altcoins? Looking to buy like monero, ripple, siacoin, etc...? I really dont want to register on 10 of them and send my ID to every...
You have what you are looking for in poloniex, it's the best exchange site at the moment as for me because personally I have plenty of stocks in alts stored at that exchange, it's good to be confident when you feel your account is secured, never trust small trading sites especially if you are buying big volume of altcoins.
7229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 09, 2017, 01:28:20 AM
If i had my 1 btc to invest then i will go with ICN, TIME, DCT, ICOBID , VSL. This are some coins which are very good for long term. In short term also they will give me double my investment like 3 months holding but in long term minimum 6 months i can make it 5 times of it.

Yeah this are the good coins to make an investment at a moment and I will add some more coins to the list like ETH, ETC and XMR as those are the coins that can give us best returns in long term and even XRP is looking great at a moment but investing in it would be only for short term to make quick profits.
I think XRP is the best investment now, I just sold some of my coins to buy XRP, there's really good news about xrp to make that price increase that much even in a short period of time. We have our own effort to research so I will just lead it to anyone to do theirs, just be careful when buying coins when it pumps as it might do the opposite in short time also, thus one must be knowledgeable enough to understand it fully and all factors will be considered when choosing the right coin for investment.
7230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 09, 2017, 01:02:34 AM
Golden state is almost in the final of the conference with 7 consecutive wins in the playoffs (and 22 wins in the last 23 games played!).
Is clearly the favorite for winning the ring this year.
They are clearly the most favorite for this year maybe because KD is in their line up. I'm one of their fans but seems Klay and Curry is having a bad outside shooting. Which is not good for them.
Their standing and performance for each game will tell why they are the most favorite team of the crowd. I find it KD's addition to the team made them boost up although even without KD they are strong enough. They surely want to make their name shine always for having a lot of consecutive wins.
KD's addition makes them more reliable inside and outside attack since durant really got a big impact for the team klay and curry still the best shooter they just showing respects for each others and allow everyone to touch the ball and make its own part.
They are team and they need to give each other chances to score. And these scoring machines are impressive and for this season they are making sure that they will secure a spot at the finals. Let's see if this is the last game for Utah Jazz or GSW will allow them to play some more or Jazz will have what it takes to beat GSW.
don't think that Utah can do something in the 4rth game GSW really crushing all opponent this Season last season they were the best team in the NBA but failed in the finals while this season they much better and with KD is a great addition and maybe this time they go all the way in . Utah almost have zero chance to get a win so defintly 4-0.for  the Wariors
This a Warriors win tonight. Only if they to sit Curry, durant an Klay Thompson. But that is doubtful since they want to finish up fast so to get rest for the next game.
Remember the last time they sat off all their star line up an let the bench warmers play the entire fourth.
Now that was a circus. An not in a good way. Embarrassed
There is no reason to take this game for granted and sit the starters, they will try their bets to end this series soon so they can have a good rest against the Spurs or the Rockets. People are predicting a blowout win by the warriors tonight, I can read it by the way the line moves.
7231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: May 08, 2017, 02:36:19 PM
Gambling is not a long term investment like bitcoin, it is completely short term investment and it is based on gambling you choose. You might make money in the single bet or you might loose all the money in single betting. Through gambling, i don't find any long term investment only you will get experience on betting.
Gambling as investing is a very difficult goal to achieve but it's possible, as for me I did not aim for that anymore as it already give me a lot of heartache testing different technique while costing me some money. My only way of making gambling profitable in the long run is when we will invest in a casinos bankroll but with diversification.
7232  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 08, 2017, 01:49:33 PM
cash are not that easy to use in different countries, you need to exchange them everytime, a pain in the ass, bitcoin is a global currency, and very easy too move also

and cannot be faked like cash so easily, add on top of this, the less fees required...
I agreed on you with that manner, Bitcoin aside from that is much more safer than cash money, it is still good and better to use bitcoin than any cash in the whole world. Because bitcoin was very flexible to use and easy to, and easy to convert it too into a real currency depending in the country you belong.
That is possible if you don't consider the poor people in the world, though we will educate them but it will take time for them to understand and we know there are people who are not computer literate who is hard to convince. The concept is good for only for the limited group of people, we cannot encourage bitcoin for the usage of everyone.
7233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 08, 2017, 04:56:11 AM
I amnot of those one in a million lucky guy who got rich in gambling.  I do bet lottery and other gambling games but sadly luck have not yet smiled at me to win the jackpot price.  I still hope for the chance of winnig so I always bet everyday hoping at least get a chance to win back what I have spent in those ticket.  So far so good still at slightly negative but well, that is gambling so I do not have right to whine about it Cheesy.

That is correct there mate. However, when you hit the jackpot, you will be part of the one in a million lucky guy but for sure, you will be different among those few little guys because you will be tipping us here Smiley

Hitting the jackpot is once in our life only so we have to properly utilize the winnings, I have seen some people who hit the lottery but they never stop gambling and they became poor again. I stop dreaming to become rich in gambling because it already cost me a lot, I will never be because I am not that lucky.
7234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: May 08, 2017, 04:44:25 AM
but i think it is still not the right time to sell bitcoin. to me i think the price of bitcoin will increase more and more and it is hopeful that its price is going to hit 2000 USD level in next few months and hopefully the price of bitcoin is going to cross 2500 USD level at the end of this year.

The right time will be decided by OP, if he needs the money badly then it is the right time to sell his stash.  If not, holding is the best option.  Buying BTC at this current price is not bad also, since we are all optimistic that price will go up in the following months.  But still as I said, OP have the decision to buy more.
Before you invest make sure you already have a plan on how your manage it, your personal needs is something that will distract your plan, other source should take care of it because you only put what you can afford to lose and that is intended for investment based on your projected term.
Well, as you said, when you are in badly need of money, this should be the last option and you can sell whatever the price will be.
7235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: May 08, 2017, 03:51:35 AM
I dont really expect to bitcoin that it will increase it's price into infinite maybe price are just increasing because of the increasing bitcoin holder and also we need lot of miners to increase the bitcoin the can exist still a long run to reach the maximum limit every for years so it just because of the increasing bitcoin holder but i think bitcoin really have a good future in the industry.
Well, you have to believe now, that is how it works, the price value of bitcoin has increase because there is big development and this year was not most exciting year to watch as after breaking the ATH we are having another ATH from time to time. The surprises will not gonna end yet, take time to monitor and never close your eyes so you can ride with it but ride with caution all the time.
7236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 07, 2017, 10:38:13 AM
Some interesting scene to watch between GSW vs Utah Jazz, still hard to predict the match winner as points gap between this 2 teams are really close and remaining few minutes can change the game pattern anytime from now.
Now just less then One minute and gape is more then 11 points they are ready to have 3 - 0 lead like cavaliers these both going in Semi finals without losing any game

Jazz has no chance to win any games with GS. GS players are good on outside and inside. Thats an easy semifinal for GS. I would love to see GS and Spurs at the conference finals. Hope Parker recover on that day. Spurs is the underdog. But i believe they can match against this powerhouse team. And hopefully make it to the finals.

You can't say that unless the series is already finish. We can easily predict that Golden State Warriors dominates Jazz but it is still basketball and the ball is round. Jazz will not enter to the play offs and advance to the second round if they are really weak. For me, it is not easy to say that this series will be sweep. So don't be over confident.

Well, anything can happen in the game, but I really observed that Golden State can manhandle those teams when the playoffs started. Even if the Warriors can play with or without their superstar players, I would say this series would be a sweep if Jazz can't answer the Warrior's dominant plays.
Warriors has been giving so much money for the bettors, they are surely the public play and this time the ATS were lowered considering they are on the road but this is the only time they covered for the 3 games that is over. I hope game 4 they will end jazz and cover again, I cannot bet on moneyline, the payout is really low. Too much for my betting.... Warriors are really good, you can tell the way they are confident to shoot the ball.

Both Starters and the bench did a great job but tonight it was Durant who close the game for them.
7237  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: May 07, 2017, 06:59:49 AM
If the politicians enters in the world of bitcoin, I think there is a chances that bitcoin can lead to corruption. Even there's a chance the corruption of bitcoin, it will never be happen anymore because developer would not want it to happen because they know that bitcoin corruption can lead the bitcoiners to quit using bitcoin.
Anyone criminals or corrupt if they already know the anonymous and decentralized advantages of bitcoin. They will surely make use of it for illegal activities. Such as money laundering

Money laundering entirely differs from corruption. For both the needs bitcoin can be used due to the nature it's been developed. Being anonymous helps users make transactions without revealing end to end identity but with transparency in the value move. Right now Money laundering happens much through bitcoin than corruption as politicians were not much aware of cryptocurrencies

Money laundering is not corruption itself, of course

But both of these things are still closely affiliated, so to speak. Money laundering can exist on its own, but it typically follows an instance of corruption, especially if money is involved. For example, if you have been given a bribe, i.e. a big amount of money, you won't be able to spend it directly and right away. Wtf, you won't be able even to put it in a bank since this will inevitably trigger alarms and raise questions as to where you got all this pile of money from. So you will have to launder it, i.e. find a plausible explanation that you, in fact, earned all this wealth through hard work and weren't just bribed
With bitcoin it's hard for you to trace if you will launder your money when some exchanges will not cooperate or will not be regulated by the government, we have services like bitcoin mixer where for me a good way to launder your money, however I am not saying it will not be trace, it is just hard to trace because you go through with different address. Smart people knows how to effective launder their money, and don't even put your money in the bank without a ready explanation because banks are regulated by the government to report suspicious transactions under the memorandum issued by the AMLC.
7238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum - Completed! on: May 07, 2017, 05:29:17 AM
Lunyr pump incoming... where will it go?

300K? 400? Maybe $100/lun

Nobody knows.

100$ is cheap... Or it will be when we look back from 2018
Be realistic guys. Anything near $20-$30 by the end of 2018 will be a good achievement for this project.I am not dreaming of getting ROI withing overnight. Give it 1 year and LUN will compete with LTC or XMR ,
If we have a basis of our prediction then I guess that is being realistic out here, I have a good prediction with LUN because personally I invested in this project. Price is under $10 as of this moment but due to limited supply I think it will reach a massive increase of $100, yeah that is possible.
7239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 07, 2017, 02:57:15 AM
Some interesting scene to watch between GSW vs Utah Jazz, still hard to predict the match winner as points gap between this 2 teams are really close and remaining few minutes can change the game pattern anytime from now.
I think the warriors will get this one, Jazz are not really good offensively although they have the home court advantage, they need more shooters to go on with their offense and you cannot bet the warriors with lack of offense. The line was really tough for the warriors to cover, but I'm thinking if they can get their rhythm back in the outside shooting it will be possible to cover the high point spread.
7240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 06, 2017, 01:41:43 PM
Toronto Raptors 94 - 115 Cleveland Cavaliers
Houston Rockets 92 - 103 San Antonio Spurs

Utah Jazz 01:30 Golden State Warriors
Toronto Raptors 20:30 Cleveland Cavaliers

Everything easy for Cleveland who is already 3-0 in this series. In these playoff cleveland has won all the games played (7 of 7).
Excellent performance for Lebron James with 35 points 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

43 points for Harden were not enough. Important victory away of San Antonio, is now again the favorite for overcoming the turn.

Well the east, I think, belong to the cavs already. I don't really see any team seriously able to challenge LeBron and company. Even with the emergence of Isaiah Thomas in this year's boston run, the cavs would be too much to handle for any eastern conference team. The real battles are in the west. I'm looking forward to a gs vs sa matchup in the conference finals and whoever wins would be a very good match for the cavs.
Cavaliers are the king in the East, no team will ever defeat cavaliers that's why they have an easier journey compared to the west teams. I think whoever team the cavaliers will face, they can easily sweep it but I like to see the Wizards vs the Cavaliers in the east finals, they are more exciting to watch compared to the Boston Team.
