^  It's a long shot.  But then again...  The same was said of Di Matteo when he took over Chelsea from AVB mid season.  And guess what, he won Chelsea's first CL trophy.

7242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 09, 2019, 01:44:50 PM
^  It's 1 - 1 now.  Palace scored a penalty.

I wonder why Zaha's still at Palace.  Lol.  I think Chelsea could use him once (not if Smiley) they sell Hazard to Real this summer.

Edit:  Wooooow.  Anybody else watching the match?

^  Prolly just one per match imho (two at most).  So refs really have to make it count in only the most important of calls.
7244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 09, 2019, 01:27:13 PM
^  It's gonna be Mou imho.  Dunno...  That guy has a knack for getting in the top clubs in Europe.  And get this, Hazard's gonna be there with him.  Lololol.

Edit:  And Monchi, Sevilla's former sporting director who worked with Emery in his time there, is rumored to go to Arsenal.  Smiley  Should be an interesting summer transfer window for the Gunners if he does go.
7245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 146: Lewis vs Dos Santos Prediction and Info Thread on: March 09, 2019, 01:20:00 PM
Not much going on in this event but it's gonna be interesting to see where Lewis ends up if he wins.  A bout vs Miocic would be perrrfect.  The winner should at least be closer on the way back to another shot at the belt again...

PSG gave United all 3 goals pretty much, I think Man Ute will get crished when they meet a team like Barca, City or Atleti in the 1/4 final.

Ajax & Porto are unknown quantities when the real pressure is on in the latter stages.

Solksjaer could do a Di Matteo tho and beat Barca, and continue beating whoever and bring home the trophy.  Grin
7247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 09, 2019, 01:04:02 PM
^  But you got to consider how high United are after they got thru PSG in the KO stage.  The momentum could continue.  And they know winning against the Gunners gets them closer to end the season at top 4.  Smiley

^  Yup...  The site is spreading itself too thin by having too much variety imho.  I think we just need to let everybody know there's a BTC poker site where they could play NLHE and PLO at for now.

I'd go as far as dropping the 9max and HU tables and go for 4 max and 6max tables.  And have BBJ tables across all stakes (except no rake tables).

For what it's worth, I respectfully strongly disagree with this. One of the things that set SWC apart is the great variety of offerings, it's a strength they should lean into.
That being said, most of the weirder games don't do well in the tournament format (hence why NLHE became so popular), so I do think that until population grows to where all games can be reliably supported, you should focus your efforts to NLHE and PLO there.

I wholeheartedly believe that more people would reg any one tournament if they had the option to reg more. No one likes to log in for just one tournament. I understand there is the concept of cannibalization, but there's also the opposite where too few tournaments will starve the ones that are offered.

I gotta admit I made that comment based on what I saw at the site's browser play version.  Seeing the site thru the installed version, I guess there's some argument to keep it the way things are.

But, I kindly request for the browser play version to have better filtering on what games, stakes, etc should appear in the lobby.  I can only click one check box at a time, it should be multiple check boxes for better filtering.

Is good time to buy monairo?

Idunno, but I put some buys in for Romero's. Smiley

Oh you did?  Cool...  I did some on Monteros.  Couldn't be happier putting some TRX profits on there.  Smiley

^  VAR out.  IMHO.

Holy smokes, they did the impossible! I'm baffled, and even though they were more or less given all of the goals tonight they definitely deserve to go through, the quarters are going to be intense!

Yup.  Spurs in, Man United in, Real out.  Rofl.  Something's wrong with this reality...  I'd be laughing soooo hard if City's out (something's def wrong).  And LFC better not f*ck it up.

4 EPL clubs going thru would be nice.  Smiley

^  Lewis is my pick too.  But Dos Santos opened slightly above two for one as the favorite tho.  So I guess we'll just have to see...  I'm not that confident in my picks atm.  Lol.  Grin
7253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 06, 2019, 01:48:18 PM
^  Yup but it's tooootally different with football.  NBA fans of two opposing teams could sit together while watching a match...  Can't do that with football supporters of two opposing clubs.  They'd be bashing each other's heads.  Lmao.

So I guess NBA 'fans' could get away more in supporting different teams than football supporters.

^  What do you guys think about stream lining the site by having just a couple of the most popular games (NLHE, PLO) available?

Hahahaha wow. Rubber ducks across the board. Not a single person scored a single point this evening.

Oh good cos I was totally busy and forgot making my predictions.  Lol.

Anyway, here's an update on our little side bet just to make it look 'official' (thanks for the back up LFC).

Nope, I'm not gonna change your mind squatz.  There are degens who gamble on anything...  Even mice racing.  Lololol.

There was a guy who made a mice racing thread in the main gambling section.  Go find it, it's hilarious.  Cheesy

^  Tottenham doesn't exactly look hot either.  And they're prolly fatigued right now playing three matches in a week.  That's gonna take a toll on them and with the coming CL match away.

And BVB's home form still looks good despite the run of bad games.
7259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2019, 05:48:08 PM
@tokes, you seem to be the happiest of them all.

And yes, since you're all on the same mood, I'll share the sentiment for a terrible EPL weekend. Auba the idiot lost me a 9/1 parlay on Saturday. Liverpool lost me an 11/1 parlay on Sunday. All we needed was Auba to score the goal gifted to him on a platter.... and more verve from the Reds. Maybe Virgil needs to play striker for a bit.

@Trofo I've never tried for anything more than 40/1... but 500/1? You ever hit one of those? I'm actually looking at my betting performance this season and after over 7 months, it appears I'm hugely in profit from single longshot bets... and about 20% down from my usual parlay tactics.

Hmmm?  Did I get more points than everybody for the week?  I don't really check anymore.  Lol.

...  And quit the parlays.  They're mostly sucker bets, trust me.  Grin  But yeah I get it, they're fun.

I wonder what made Rodgers decide to leave a possibility of a legendary status at Celtic for a mediocre club like Leicester.  Lmao.  Money?

Has to be money, also winning the SPL is like taking candy from a baby. Rangers are getting better but it’s still a one team league.

But still, he had a chance for immortality if he wins an unprecedented treble at Celtic.  And leaving those fans in the middle of it all, for a meh club, does make him look like one giant classless prick, doesn't it?

Yup, had to be money...  Lol.
