yes they join daily this big environment and probably they are the same that deposit large quantities of money in stupid scam/ponzi/hyip/MLM and every type of mechanism that will never give you any advantage but just problem. As every sector you want approach: first study! and then made what you want!

no this is not the main reason. just because it's an argument discussed from december 2017 and already described with tons of blog post and news even in famous papers.
most of altcoins are dropping because we are going to have summer holidays (trader keep profit and sold some position). Plus one year ago the whole market was 1/5 of today value. it's pretty normal see a correction.

probably yes. not deposit any coin here for any reason, if you have try to withdraw but probably is already to late. if you google octaex scam you will find a lot of complaints.

best way to avoid to being hacked is just use a cold wallet: write down your private keys and forget any scam risk. most of scam come from fake login on ether app. never give your private keys to any site!

Just in one scenario airdrop could be a danger for the market itself. If one scammer could get more then on reward from the same airdrop, he achieve a good % of tokens. These tokens dumped on the market could have an impact. I see some scam accusation about 100k usd scammed by a single person with bounties/airdrop activities. For some ICO this is a huge amount of money and it's easier change the market upon an exchange.
