^^^ Yeah, like I said, Wales started ok and then descended into darkness, and then just saw red in the end. Fairplay Denmark.
Italy's bossing the game, as usual, lots of smart touches and silky play. Getting quite a lot of joy from Insigne on the left flank but a few tries from outside the box and that post/bar touch from Immobile's effort is all they've been able to show so far for their attacks. Should still get a goal at this rate, just surprised not many corners gained from all those potshots.

Um, thanks Wales, now we're headed for a bust on EURO Blackjack cause you lost your heads late on haha. Oh well =) Only missed 1 special that I'd have taken (money back) but skipping almost everything that's either too low odds or just uninteresting. Usually for a special anything below 5/1 is not fun for me, unless it's massively over the normal odds, of course (like Italy 25/10 special on the opening day!). Whatever it is I am skipping it and saving money for EURO promos. We get new one every 2 hours. Currently live At Least 3 Of The Round Of 16 Matches To Go To Extra-Time @4. Skipping this one on purpose, I am thinking odds around 10 would be something that would interest me, 4 is way too low. This is first "bad" EURO promo I saw so hopefully we will get some more good ones later on.
I skipped this one too, I also skipped the penalties one. I don't think any penalties, and I think at least one or two ET but yeah, odds too low to back for me as well.

If I had to choose, and only because I'm betting like this: Wales 2-0.
i agree with you, i also think that Wales can make it and qualify, and i also think the odds should have been closer than what they are right now, so i think a 1-0 win to Wales can easily happen, i don't expect a lot of goals in this match. Ah well. What can I say? It was an unnecessary yellow, and then a brilliant curling effort that just bent and escaped everything in its path. Have to say I liked that goal, and the lead is every bit deserved. Maybe Wales turn up the heat in 2nd half? A bit hard now with Roberts looking like he pulled something. Maybe my boy Neco Williams gives them something better. They started brightly really, and then for some reason just piped down after the goal. Bale a bit too deep and he's not so sharp on passing at the moment. 45 mins to go, plenty of time for something!

You guys went crazy with the specials yesterday, didn't you, Steve? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Took most, but going to hold off on them for now until I settle some winners heh heh, anyone here actually managed to take that Round of 16 Hot 5 @12.5? Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, France, Spain -- Money back if only 1 lose. Wales didn't help me much except to win in a friendly, as I missed their group upset. Let's see if it's joy for them again today? Come on, Bale, earn your next golfing holiday!

This Italian team hasn't conceded a goal for 11 straight games and there are 30 games that don't lose a game. It's not easy to win or score a goal against this Italia!
Interestingly, Italy's last defeat was the responsibility of Portugal, in the group stage of the League of Nations 2018/2019, on 10 September 2018. With Portugal winning the game 1-0.
Yeah, those kind of stats are monster, but of course, a KO tournament is a different proposition altogether and yeah, they were irresistible in group stage I have to say, but let's see them meet one of the big guns first after this and then we'll know their true worth. That said, the same can be said of any of the big teams (except Germany, France and Portugal who've had to tough it out early!). I agree Denmark has a lot experienced players in their team, with Eriksen it would really be an experienced team but with him out of the tournament they are still really experienced. I personally thing that Denmark will win this match if they score first. Wales is mostly Ramsey and Bale and they will try only with them to go to the next round.
Wales have to be expected to lose this, but there's a funny sense of freedom a team gets when they've already overachieved and have no expectations, while Denmark still has a lot to prove -- I still think it's tighter than the bookies think, but if we get loads of goals, I'm happy. If I had to choose, and only because I'm betting like this: Wales 2-0.

Damn man, you also missed the best special yesterday. It was the first one in morning hours. If memory holds there was 5 favorites to win (Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France and one more), money back if only one screws our ticket.
Good luck with your bets, I am also on those other 2 specials but I am going against you on the Wales game. I am thinking Denmark has this but maybe in the extra time.
I had to scroll back up on the Special Offers to see this and you're right! That was early! These specials also just last for less than an hour, judging from the ones I managed to catch -- always the clock running down on them ha! 125/10 for those are incredible value for the money back, damn. Thanks, and good luck with yours too! I honestly don't think Wales can win but I feel there's gotta be 1 upset at least and this is the most likely? As long as we hit goals, I don't care =)

Yikes, it was a mess. Started brightly and even managed to draw a yellow from a desperate lunge from Prishtina in the beginning, if they had only held on til HT it might have worked out, but home team scored a draw in the precious injury time of first half. Some long specials which I normally don't share but because I'm really confident in these. 100 units each at Sportsbet: Over 1.5 goals in each of the Last 16 games: 16/1. I've taken all the Specials on the favourites (outrights) so I have to bank on all of them to progress. So for me that would be: Belgium vs PortugalEngland vs GermanyCroatia vs SpainItaly vs Austria France vs Switzerland Netherlands vs Czech Republic In fact, putting a nice multi on all of them already all on regular time, even though England and Belgium are the slight favourites here: https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/2a08e9b2-8cb4-43c4-835e-0d249d9d1740No reason to think it'll turn out different judging on Group Stage form, but I'll be hoping for upsets in these: Wales vs Denmark Sweden vs UkraineNo penalties, please;) Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Wales are the biggest underdogs, odds-wise. Expect one upset;)

Thank you cygan for the update of teams, I'll add it into OP for that, and what's strange for me in fact is that I actually recognise at least 1 name from each group;) Maybe Europa League has crept into my mind, or betting on those games that played on during Covid lockdown! My personal picks: Batumi (Georgia), Wroclaw (Poland), Yereven (Armenia) -- all have been very good to me in betting haha:) @buwaytress, thanks for making this thread, I was looking for it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Personally, I don't like idea of this tournament. I call it Europa League for peasants. Yes, this tournament gives chances for clubs from small league to play in Europe. Even teams from my country have fairly good chances to reach group stage. But on the other hand, this tournament had closed doors to Europa League for many clubs and leagues. As said above by @mv1986, good teams from Greece, cyprus or Switzerland now are separated from elite. There is some big clubs like Spurs or Roma who will have to play there. It's interesting what attitude towards this tournament they will have. I doubt that their are going to play with main squads there. Conference League games will be played on Thursdays, same as Europa league. I doubt that many neutral fans is going to watch it, unless you're supporter of team which play there. You're welcome:) I was asked to, and well, maybe we get a unique breed of supporters in here from countries not normally in Champs League? I know if my country were in a popular thread I'd be even more active! Where are you from? I had no idea we wouldn't be seeing Greece or Switzerland in Europa, which sounds strange but absolutely right now I check the qualification routes! Imagine Basel and Young Boys out of Europa? Panathinaikos, wow. But prize money wise, it's almost the same and these "big" teams might feel they have a better chance to win in Conference? Maybe they don't argue as much.

A single bet today on the club that won me my first bet in the new season of Champions League: de Escaldes. They fight Prishtina today for the rights to qo to Round 1 Qualification. I took it and by the time I did odds jumped right after haha, so please find better odds than me, it's a disadvantage today. 100 units at Sportsbet on de Escaldes to WIN vs Prishtina @7.20. Other odds: 7.40 Units advantage: -20 Running advantage after 387 bets: +25,869 (-20) All-time cumulative: +64,267 Running units after 386 bets (63W|323L): +15,278 (-100) Don't know about Santos but my money is Chile as well, so good luck man ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Should I be worried that you think Chile is good bet considering your standings in the COPA pool? Uruguay and Bolivia deciding who goes home today. Just shows how badly Uruguay performed so far. Dud on both. Santos actually did get a draw (2-2) but yeah, Copa proving to be tricky as hell. Even didn't take the Uruguay win + Cavani score at SB yesterday which was 2/1, impossible to sniff out anything! And yes, you should be worried about my Copa picks. I did really well on Conmebol betting during WC qualifications but this Copa has been an absolute mess betting AND predicting.

@icopress I don't think I've ever won any of the pools, any prize places, so you can be assured if you're even a bit above average you've got a good chance as plenty of people like me giving free money for pools haha. Freebets since SB started sponsoring have been great though.
Brazil do look like they're inevitably going to the final don't they?
Tempted to watch Uruguay match tonight, they've got to be scoring now surely?

Man Bobby Firmino is loved by Brazil but even Casemiro's last gasp win wasn't enough, as France and Sao Paolo both drew. Nice that I didn't take a big French ML, but phew, two penalties? Portugal will feel lucky they squeezed through, seriously. Santos upset today in Brasileiro please, plus a Chilean COPA victory, only two legs but I like the odds. 100 units at Sportsbet on Chile and Santos WIN @11.64. Other odds: 11.22 Units advantgae: 42 Running advantage after 386 bets: +25,889 (+42) All-time cumulative: +64,287 Running units after 385 bets (63W|322L): +15,378 (-100)

@DS icopress arallmuus
A push it is indeed, but it was fun as heck to watch the games yesterday, I missed the first two due to domestic obligations but the next two were good as well. 1 out of 2 specials hitting when we thought both weren't going to hit (thank you Spain). Honestly I thought we had it in the bag when I thought France got a clear foul from Fernandes in the box. Replays showed he actually stepped on Coman's calf from behind, which in any book I see as a foul, intentional or not?
Still, reaching 20 goals in that group from 8 goals on final match day? Amazing, eh guys? And we get our money back and a healthy cushion for our 120-goal special!
Group A: 15 Group B: 15 Group C: 18 Group D: 10 Group E: 16 Group F: 20 94
-- That's 17 more goals required from 15 matches... or is it 16? Not sure if they have a 3rd place match for EURO, do they? Goals tend to dry up from QFs onwards, but let's hope England find their guns... if the Big 4 score at least 2 goals each, I'm confident we're good.

So the outrights I bet on are all through: Germany (11/1) Portugal (14/1) France (9/1) Netherlands (18/1) Italy (16/1) Best of all, none are meeting each other, so I could be lucky and see all of them progress to the final 8, not sure how the draws will happen so will check to see if I could even have all four in the semis, which is best-case scenario for me, then I will win at least 4x my equal outlay =D I think Finland could advance in case of a large defeat of Portugal (+3 goals) + Germany winning (they are 1 goal behind BTW).
Yeah, I see it now and it's Czech, Switzerland, Ukraine and Portugal indeed as the teams progressing. As expected then!

Hush now, don't bear such ill tidings before tonight, and have faith:P Germany will punish tonight and hit our Over 4.5 special, while France and Portugal will score 2 goals each at least to bring us great joy and good tidings and an early Christmas with two Specials in the bag.
So Spain it was that punished and got us our goals, and France and Portugal have already given 2 goals each (3 penalties but I'll take them!). Game itself isn't so fun but as long as they keep going, another goal on the cards About 20 mins to go, Hungary looking hungry, Germany on the ropes -- not for a lack of trying, so I don't mind if they get dumped out, as long as more goals flow there. 2 more goals and we hit out 21 goal target! This is good, I'm signing off for tonight, but to watch the rest of this in bed. What a night at least 17 goals from 4 games!

Have to agree. Poland a big disappointment, but to be fair as well, they only had one plan and his name was Lewandowski. God as he is, he can't lift a team unable to defend against... Sweden!
And Slovakia, well, they'll be so chuffed at this even if they don't end up progressing. Anyone keeping tabs on 3rd placed teams yet and which ones are due to progress?

I decided not to spend money on this bet, only from the fact that having looked at the statistics for the past years, I saw that there were no precedents for such a good scoring performance among the groups. There is also little hope of an outcome with 21 goals, as it is unlikely that 9 goals will be scored in Group F today, even if we take into account the expected performance in the Germany-Hungary match, (although I have not decided which match I will watch).
Hush now, don't bear such ill tidings before tonight, and have faith:P Germany will punish tonight and hit our Over 4.5 special, while France and Portugal will score 2 goals each at least to bring us great joy and good tidings and an early Christmas with two Specials in the bag. The silver lining so far is that we've been seeing 2.5 goal averages for the past few nights, we're still very much in the fight for 120... although I know as we progress, the goals should slow down =( I'm definitely watching France, but is it strange that apart from the 4-2 Germany special, every match I've chosen to watch has not been the high-scoring affairs? I'm looking at you England, Spain and France... I like French odds, to be honest. 2/1 is value and with a good price boost on Sports bet takes it to 24/10 -- probably bookies getting a lot of joy from Portugal bets and the French's inability to put goals to back of nets but I think they still have too much quality for Ronaldo and co. I think Jota's been their gem so far but he won't be enough to hold back Mbappe, Pogba, Kante. Phew. As long as we get our goals, I'm good.
