This will be a gradual process, I don't think all casino's will be open in a day. I think it will be the big one first in Manila for a test and then in other parts of the Philippines. And for the record, according to the protocols they have set, it will be no card/no entry policy. So it's not just everyone could enter and play pre-pandemic. In order of average gamblers, you have to show that you have this so called membership card before you can play. And I'm sure that they will stop accepting new membership during this pandemic to control the crowd. Fortunately for me, I have all membership cards in the big three (RW, COD, Solaire), however, I'm not interested to gamble because of health risk.

Replying to old tweets: It's a joke on Twitter after a tweet became viral years ago. Nowadays, it's also a trick used by some community managers on Twitter to make fun with their community, and considering the latest rumor with BTC/Paypal it was the right time to tweet it.
Yes, and it you look at that supposedly twitter Paypal support account, it suddenly awaken from deep slumber and start replying again, very clever trick and it coincide with Paypal/Venmo rolling out their plans to "support" bitcoin.

^^ And it really reinforced what we have believed in the past, those scammers are really connected to each other and probably colluding with other criminals as well. Cheap domain hosting + parking it for sometime before making their move and then recycle.

It will be interesting to see how long this criminals will serve jail time. This is no joke, that's a lot of money "stolen" to begin with. They have violated "Section 10(b) and Rule 10b-5 thereunder of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Section 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933". I'm not a lawyer but it seems that this is a Federal law, so probably more than 10 - 20 years?
We all know how justice system works in the US, and that the law they violated seems very hard to win so probably the judge will handed them jail time just like the rest of criminals who violated the SEC Act of 1934, swift and hard 25 years max. I did a little research about this one and for investment as well as securities scams in the United States most of the economical related crimes don't reach the maximum penalty in the US since I think this is not the kind of crime the US sees a maximum penalty is worth it for criminals, investment scams can be counted as white collar crimes where they are punished softer compared to violent crimes. The United States Sentencing Commission provided a data where it said that crimes related to investment only averaged for 54 months in prison sentencing. Very interesting report, but I'm not really sure if those investment scams included crypto related already. And it's just an average, maybe we can see some variance specially applying law to crypto scams. So let's see how they are going to sentence the people behind ''54' months average is like a walk in the park for this criminals.

India is a country that restricted gold imports and is willing to fuck over tens or hundreds of millions of its own people with that bank note cancellation thing. I assume this is no more than the usual 'crypto press' junk half heard from a Tuk Tuk driver but I wouldn't be surprised if something vaguely similar happened for real one day.
They seem to run their economy in the style of an abusive bunch of amateurs.
Yeah, who would forgot their "demonetisation"? Why India wiped out 86% of its cash overnight. And probably this is the result of their form of government, and RBI as exhausting all mean to over turn Supreme Court decision again. It's really a messed and crypto enthusiast are caught in the middle. And just like its previous precedence, this will go ongoing debate on their parliament floor.

LMAO, if we go with your argument, then after the Spanish Flu, we should expect a war? But it didn't happen so your logic is flaw in the beginning. Probably this is just another conspiracies against, don't watch Youtube videos and believed them right away, used your common sense. I would agree that we may be entering a looming financial crisis because of the pandemic, but WWIII? There are so many wars in the Middle East already and it didn't cause a world war because government are not that stupid to create a global tension.
Have you heard of Hitler ? WW2 started after the Spanish Flu Yes, iWWII started after the Spanish flu, but definitely not the reason why it began, you have to check your history. Have you heard of Hitler? Again, the usual conspiracy theories, you give them facts, they show you Youtube videos.

In summary: - Alexander and Laura Strashny filed income tax return due in 2017, but unable to pay - they sent IRS letters proposing to pay the liability in iinstallments over a period of 6 years - IRS received the proposal recorded it and put in in pending status - As of December 2018, the outstanding liability + interest exceeded $1 million - IRS sent petition notice "Intent to Seize Your Assets" and Notice of Your Right to a Hearing. - Petitioners timely requested a CDPhearing, expressinginterest in an installment agreement (IA) and attaching a copyof their previously submitted Forms 433-A and 9465. They did notcheck the boxindicating thattheycould not pay the balance, and they did notdispute theirunderlyingliability for 2017. - SO review the case and saw that they have a huge cryptocurrency investment - SO eceived from petitioners’ repre-sentative a copy of their 2018 tax return, which reported wages exceeding $200,000, and investment statements showing cryptocurrency assets valued over$7 million. During the conference the SO noted that petitioners were currently - 4-[*4] withdrawing$19,000 per month from their cryptocurrency account, and she asked why they could not liquidate or borrow against those assets in order to discharge their tax liabilityin full. - Lawyers for the petitioners argue that they are unable to draw on their cryptocurrency account to pay their liability. - On June 25, 2019, the IRS issued a notice of determination sustaining the proposed levy, rejecting petitioners’ request for an IA, and stating that “[l]evyaction is permitted 30 daysafter the rejection. https://www.ustaxcourt.gov/USTCInOP/OpinionViewer.aspx?ID=12258
There's no denying that the petitioners have money to pay to settled their tax liabilities. But they can't withdraw it in a timely manner, maybe they are waiting for the price to go up and make profit to at least lessen the damage. What are your thoughts on this? Are you willing to sell your crypto to pay our debts or just go on settle it in months or years?

Bad advise, those small or mid cap that you are referring to are what we called shit coins, sorry to burst the bubble for you. We are already in 2020, and as crypto investors mature, I doubt that we can see the same enthusiasm with small cap coins. They have been exposed as just like that, no utility. And unless you join trading signals (which is not advisable as well), you won't time those coins to be bump by 3,4,5,6x or whatever growth they potentially have.

Well, honestly I'm not exactly so sure about what I understand about the article. As I can see with the story the kid decided to suicide himself because of 730, 000$. Now, the 730k$ was the kids debt? Correct me if I am wrong to my understanding, that's what I felt actually.
Yes, that debt forces the kid to commit suicide of the huge amount he incurred. This is really tragic to see someone to take his life because of debt. Not the first time to hear though, but he is still young. Robinhood is not commenting on the subject, but definitely they have to improve their system/service as a result of this incident.

Isn't this why most people separate the PC's used for work/job stuff and personal usage? I mean, even if you don't want to, as long as you're dealing with money, then you basically have no choice. Especially if you are one of the others that use pirated software for literally everything.
I think for majority, specially for beginners, this is not a choice. This is not new, even prior the crypto downloading pirated software is a 'thing' because you can get everything you want. But if we really wanted to be on the safe side, there are still options like using Unix flavoured OS. And as we grow a lot, many having a separate PC will do the trick and not to fall for this malicious softwares out there.

I noticed these a few months ago as they say there is a sucker born every minute ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) It sucks for anyone new trying to get into cryptocurrency whos watching videos and sees free bitcoin and doesnt know any better. Youtube will take down users crypto related videos buy these slip through still somehow It will only be taken down if we report these fake giveaways videos in Youtube. But yeah, there's always a sucker for this kind of trick because it's supposedly free money after all right? And even though that Youtube reportedly tightening their policy with this so called crypto scams, still scammers find a way by hackers people's youtube account and impersonating those high profile personalities to trick, specially noobs.

There is no such thing as earning without investing anything. Aside from money time is one of the most important asset we can invest in any project with hope we might earn from it. Even the so called surveys, one still hast to invest in their time and personal information/opinions.
This one, when I was just starting, I though I can earn a lot of money by not investing (time/money). So to make money, you need money as capital. I prefer gathering knowledge first. Well i might be late for things like mining, faucets, airdrop etc but knowledge can help me learn better ways of earning such as trading or setting up a business that requires crypto payments.
As the saying goes, "knowledge is power", so if people would educate themselves, spend more time in this community to try and learn and absorb such as trading, then it will just be a matter of time before they can succeed and reach this goal.

If there is something which is illegal by the jurisdiction then we must need to decode it and must make sure a casino as clean as possible in all means and decoding their basic business structure may lead not enjoying the minutes we do spend there.
I guess the only thing that is illegal in casino is that if you cheat the system and then get, otherwise, casino can go everything they want to attract gamblers. Even card counting is not illegal per se, but every casino have the 'right' to ban a player if they suspect that they are counting cards in black jack.

One more hacked youtube channel. I can't believe people are are not thinking with their head and they allow to be hacked so easy. They hack one guy and then they fool all their subscribers with fake givewaays ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Youtube hacking has been more prevalent than ever because hackers really know that they can make easy money out of it. If I'm not mistaken, this kind of breach has started on the last quarter of last year and still continue up to this day. But yes, youtube influencers should know and practice safe security as they are a target today, specially with thousands of subscribers because once they are hack, criminals will change every information to look like it's legit and so many are falling for these so called giveaways.
