7281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: April 25, 2019, 03:04:40 AM
Bitcoin is already  legalized on most countries but why bitcoin is still unstable  ?

No bitcoin hasn't be legalized in any country although more countries are showing positive signs to adopting blockchain technology (note I didn't say bitcoin) but in adopting bitcoin I don't think that will ever happen. About the price of bitcoin been stable, that was just due to the lack of activities occuring in bitcoin of recent making it less responsive to news. The pattern of growth was due to the bear market, potential investors weren't sure if to buy or not. But I guess that's all over now.
7282  Other / Meta / Re: account lock again part 2 on: April 25, 2019, 02:54:24 AM
moders not lock this account and this topic, else i create new acc and topic until i get the unlock and prove their innocence

Is this a threat or what? You know to block your account or lock this topic won't cause any stress. Moderators can do it with just a push of the button. You disobey a rule so you have to suffer the consequences. Creating new account or thread won't help in anyway, go take a chill pill.
7283  Economy / Reputation / Re: Pilipinas' Reputation over Merit Distribution on: April 24, 2019, 06:37:47 PM
I do second this but will that have any effect (my seconding), I don't think so. only theymos have the final say maybe if you guys come out in your numbers to make a demand then he might give you guys a source. Or you guys can ask for permission to carryout an in-house election and present your choice to him.
I have visited your local board numerous times due to my topic getting translated to your local language or reference. No doubt there isn't much merit circulating there. I did also notice you guys speak alot of english & sometimes mixed it with your local language, is that how it's spoken or most of you aren't native speakers?
7284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit giveaway to Full members and Below on: April 24, 2019, 05:55:57 PM
Visit this thread, search through already existing giveways threads and merit users you think fits your criteria above, asking them to drop links here will just result to another type of spam as many users especially newbie/jnr members apply on different giveways threads with the same links.
Also note, if you spend more time on this board, it won't take you time to find post worth meriting, so starting a giveway thread especially when you don't have much smerits isn't that necessary.
7285  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestMixer Signature Campaign | Sr. Members - Legendary | Up to 0.01225BTC on: April 24, 2019, 07:57:40 AM
Master @Hhampuz it is an honor to be baptized as one of the forum heroes while participating in one of your top tier campaigns.

Congratulations mate, well deserved promotion. No doubt this campaign has one of the best set of quality posters on forum, the evidence is everywhere, on every board you visit. That's to show @Hhampuz knows quality posters when he sees them. Congratulations on ranking up. Hoping to achieve your success soon too.
7286  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Facts} Disadvantage of promoting signature campaigns that encourages spamming. on: April 24, 2019, 06:09:51 AM
Also, these old, high-ranked accounts, are pretty much useless. Good (BTC) campaign managers always do due diligence before accepting someone to their signature campaigns.

That's why they all came in their numbers to join the yobit signature campaign that had no minimum merit requirements but what surprised me was how they all woke up simultaneously immediately after the yobit signature campaign was announced that's just to back up the claims that 50% of accounts on the forum are just alts. I'm very sure there was no email sent by Bitcointalk to its users informing them of the yobit campaign though yobit themselves did sent email but how did this accounts that were sleeping for months get the information if they're not alt accounts of active members of the forum?. That email sent by yobit couldn't have reached all of them. Maybe it's time theymos wipe all inactive accounts.

7288  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to create a new account and start from beginning. on: April 24, 2019, 04:33:01 AM
Officially, when you get banned, irrespective of what your offense was, you're no longer welcomed in the forum especially after appealing your case with a newly created alt account, posting outside your appeal thread will be considered ban evasion (and your new account will get banned too). Although unofficially the forum doesn't care if you start a fresh especially if you don't associate yourself with your pass record and don't commit new offense, if the forum did care then they would had prohibited having more than one account in the first place.

<***>

No men you have to try something new, I'm already getting used to been judged based on some conditions i have no control over like been born in a 3rd world country. Beside I'm not ashamed of that, that's why I boldly updated it on my profile and that's the only reason why you got to know that I'm from a 3rd world country. The trust system was introduced to combat scammers therefore anyone wearing a red tag must have been a scammer, tried scamming or associate themselves with scam either through alt accounts or any other means. I don't have to proof anything to you. It isn't rocket science, it's just common sense and from the look of things I'm very sure you don't have one.

If your post is not deleted then there should be a good explanation of why.

Still waiting for a notification of post deletion. Normally I don't reply to direct replys from your type and this also will be my last (hopefully).

I wonder how much drama would actually stop if the feedback system was removed
<***>
I wonder if we did remove it would we get threads every other day asking WHY ISNT THERE A FEEDBACK SYSTEM HERE in some variation or another.

Yes of course, the forum can never please everyone. Just like the days of no merit system, we did have some users complaining of the easy rank up of spammers and now we have those complaining the system isn't working sorry that they aren't benefiting from the system. The scammers all over meta complaining of the trust system not working or been abused are the same people using their alt account to tag any user that's opposing them. If theymos feels the trust system is doing more harm than good he'll remove it without a second thought just as he did with Yobit signature spam encouraging campaign.
7291  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cabalism13's Reputation Thread on: April 23, 2019, 04:22:00 PM
So here's the thing, if possible, I want to use my wife's account (Jr. Member) that is still sleeping in the dark (hisako, if I correctly remember) to use for altcoin campaigns.

Wow congratulations mate I never knew you're now married and your wife own a Bitcointalk account Roll Eyes Roll Eyes. The last time I checked you were jealous of your girlfriend  Grin Grin.
For the meantime I'm really jealous on my girlfriend, because she already graduated and she has a decent work amd salary to take on her needs.

Anyways owning an alt account isn't against the forum rules but abusing the system of the forum (trust, merit) or abusing signature campaign is what the forum (DT members) are against. Also note the moment you start operating your alt and it gets ban for spamming possibility are your current account will be banned too for ban evasion. If you know you can handle both accounts without spamming the forum go ahead but I'll hate seeing your account get red trusted after putting much effort to build your account to this level so avoid any temptation of abuse.
7292  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting people over 1k merit on: April 23, 2019, 12:48:19 PM
I don't think that these people are getting a lot of merits because they are very good posters,
<***>
they are mainly getting a lot of merits because of their position here.

False, both merit sources and other forum members (mostly higher ranked users) with smerits unconsciously are drawn to meriting lower rank users. The problem now is the lower rank users aren't posting what this meriters consider high quality posts because not everyone is LoyceV that might merit you just because your post isn't spam. Most members have strict rules. There was a time almost every merit source & higher ranked user reviewed (posts history) of the user they want to merit before meriting that post, some even check for plagiarism but I believe most of those criteria must have been dropped because we now see high rate of ranking users especially between member-snr member.

My point is, deserving posts gets merited, you should not concentrate on who is recieving more merit or not just concentrate on your account and get the needed merit to rank up by delivery extreme quality post that's the only way you can stand out of the crowd.
7293  Economy / Reputation / Re: why the red mark? on: April 23, 2019, 03:50:40 AM
You ask why the red tag yet you go around the forum leaving false negative feedback on innocent individuals account thinking it'll get red trusted as yours but I'm sorry to disappoint you only the DT members have the power to red tagged an account the rest feedbacks are kinda useless.

You have previously demonstrated an act of potential scam by starting a fake signature campaign for a privacy coin with a self moderated thread to avoid questioning. Also refusing to use an escrow when asked to & randomly tagging innocent users that's why you are red tagged.
Source

I can't bring myself so low to you guys level by replying back with a negative feedback to your account for falsely tagging me that's will just be childish of me. Your account is already ruined because you're a scammer that's why you have been tagged.

Irrespective of canceling your previous fake signature, Your red mark tagged will still remain to serve as a warning to other forum members because you're a proven scammer.

One of the exuse people give when they get punished for their wrong doings is that "they didn't know of the consequences for that offends". They commit plagiarized and get banned, they open new account spam meta board with appeals with the excuse either they didn't know about the rule or claim they didn't do it. Participating in yobit signature campaign and it's likes comes with some disadvantages.
Head over to Beginner and help board to read some of this disadvantages because when the after effects of your spamming comes back to hunt you there won't be an exuse of not been warned.

7295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Facts} Disadvantage of promoting signature campaigns that encourages spamming. on: April 22, 2019, 08:55:12 AM
If you can get paid for eg 60 posts/week you will try to write them forcing you to post at topics you cant contribute well or topics you arent familiar with. Some campaigns eg. want you to write postings in the gambling section, if you arent into gambling at all how could you post quality content in this subforum at all?

When ever I write a post I always try to touch every angle. I have taken care of that in my previous thread titled; Factors to consider before joining a paid signature campaigns. if you know you can't make up to the required post count or the specific board the campaign manager requires post counts from, you're not familiar with the board there's no need applying for that campaign because majority of the time you might just end up spamming your way to your post goal. That's why majority of well known quality campaign pays per post but they do have a post limit weekly to avoid spamming.
7296  Other / Meta / Re: [Experiment] Do shitposters care if someone replies to their posts? on: April 22, 2019, 06:43:01 AM
The lack of real back-and-forth discussion was one of the first things I noticed about this forum,

I did notice that too that's why each time I start a discussion (topic) I do leave room for contribution from other members to make that thread interactive not that I don't have all the point needed for that topic to be perfect. Also I prefer replying to replies in threads instead of OP unless it's the type of topic that needs direct reply. Again looking at these users post history you can easy identify those shitposters (mainly posting because they are paid to) even though their post have some little sense to it, they just move around the forum replying in any board they find discussion they can contribute to but the average none shitposters post history are always similar in regards to boards and sometimes threads he/she posts in.
7297  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting people over 1k merit on: April 22, 2019, 03:56:16 AM
There's one important thing merit those to a post, it highlights that post, make it stand out among it's peers. Forum members gets easily attracted to reading a merited post especially when it's a reply in a thread, so if you find a deserving reply irrespective of what the OP rank is you should merit it. It's your smerits though so you can do as you wish, for higher ranked users I send a maximum of 1smerit and for lower ranked users (that need it more) I send 2 or above when I do have enough Smerit. I prefer meriting higher ranked users reply though more than started topics (I leave that for merit sources).

7299  Other / Beginners & Help / {Facts} Disadvantage of promoting scam signature campaigns that encourage spam. on: April 21, 2019, 06:18:57 PM
As usual, I seize the opportunities (when I see one) to pass my message across and so far I have gotten positive feedbacks from reputed and regular users contributing to my thread, translations of those thread and highlighting of these threads through merits.
Having written on Factors to consider before joining a paid signature campaigns. and Benefits of promoting a quality paid signature campaign and as a result of the recent talks about the yobit signature campaign, I thought it'll be idea to combine all the possible disadvantagea of promoting signature campaigns that encourages spamming, maybe with this thread, we can save few members through reconsidering their decision of joining those campaigns after reading these disadvantages.
Below are some disadvantage;

[1]: Turns you into a spammer: Irrespective of what your posting habit were before you engage in a signature campaign that requires very high number of post count to get a decent payout, it increase your chances of turning into a spammer. 8 out of every 10 participants in these type of campaign are usually spammers and as the saying goes, "you turn into those you associate yourself with". As a result of trying to earn as much as your counterparts (spammers) are earning you turn into one of them, thereby spamming the forum just to earn as much as them.

[2]: Reduces your chances of getting merited: If one of your goals on forum is to receive enough merits from your quality posts to make you eligible to rank up then you have to stay far away from these signature that encourages spamming, as majority of reputed forum members, merit sources and other meriters sees participants of those campaign as spammers even though you're not a spammer yourself. some members even go further as putting those users wearing that particular signature on ignore which can ruin your chances of receiving merits from that users as they can't view (read) your post. As a result of not encouraging spammers some users don't merit users spamming the forum with those signatures. The best advice will be to stay away from those campaign and concentrate on contribution positively through your post to the forum as you wait for more quality campaigns to promote.

[3]: Gets you blacklisted by most reputed managers: Just like the ignore list created by most reputed users on the forum, some campaign managers have what they called "signature ban list"  aka blacklist they consult to avoid accepting spammers into their current or future campaigns they'll be managing. The most popular for now is the DarkList. Note most managers don't have this list publicize on the forum but they do have some members they have recognized as spammers due to one reason or the other and won't accept them into the campaign they're associate with. One of those reasons could be because of your previous campaign (which encourages spamming).

[4]: Ruin your reputation on forum: This disadvantage affects users who're interested in building a reputation for themselves on forum or already have a reputation. Joining a signature campaign can be seen as a form of endorsing that campaign and most time a user is viewed from the type of campaign he/she associate themselves with. which means, associating yourself with a spam promoting campaign will portary you as a spammer or a user with less interest of the forum at hand, as a result ruin your reputation on the forum.

[5]: Increase the possibility of getting banned: Promoting a signature campaign that encourages spamming which leads to spamming the forum most time, is an easy tickets to getting banned although plagiarism is the number one ticket. Spammers aren't welcome in the forum as the forum itself is trying her best in eliminating spam by implementing different system to combat spamming, from providing an option to report spammers to moderators to implementing the merit system and more features to come in future like the total removal of signature campaign from the forum. The forum have zero tolerance to spammers and repeated spamming as a result of meeting the required weekly/daily Post  could result in getting banned.

[6]: Reduces potential improvements on crypto knowledge: I believe what OP is trying to say is, joining a signature campaign that encourages spamming which might turn you into a spammer will decrease your chances of learning somethings new or adding to your existing knowledge of cryptocurrency from the forum as your number one priority will now be, how to spam to earn instead of concentrating on learning from the forum.
Credit
I meant by brainless spamming the forum, spammers will have less (or without) exposures to comprehensive boards, child boards, topics, posts, that in turn will result in decreasing chances to be exposed with knowledgeable things in the forum. Then, maybe spammers will spend years to spam in the forum without any improvements on their knowledge about crypto things.

In as much as I write about signature campaign and I'm wearing one that doesn't mean I see forum as a place for only signature campaign or advertisment (you shouldn't too) but these privilege are highly been abuse resulting to spam and a good way to combat this, is but educating users that's what I see my threads as.

The disadvantage of wearing a signature that promotes spamming isn't limited to 5 points, I can go on and on but as usual to encourage interactive contributions from other users I leave room for more contributions to this thread.

Thanks buddy and same to you. The Easter celebration as a Christmas is the most significant holiday of the year as this reminds us of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ and gives us the assurances there'll be everlasting life after death (which is temporary) if only you do believe in Jesus and his father, God. (until last year I was a little bit confused about the two beings.)

The holiday is nationally celebrated in my part of the world, starting from last Friday & to Monday have been declared as public holidays. Happy Easter to you all.
