In 2011, I went into gambling and I was trading in betonmarket, but I got disappointed after losing alot of money and those of my friends! Since then I have a serious fear about gambling and betting. But I have started developing interest again as it see that cryptocurrencies make gambling easy and if I can control greed I can really make profit.
Well i tried my luck wit hgambling many times and i was successfull, but at the end i think that it is not worth the risk, see what gambling hade on my life was not bad, i did not go on a losing streak and get money from anyone to pay for it, i did not get addicted like most people, i saw what gambling could do to a man, see at one time i ve putt all i had from bitcoin on a fotball match, and i bet on the team that is wining on the last few minitues of the game hoping that i will win as the odds were with me, but just as i sent the transaction the other team scored and it was a tie, and at that moment i saw the money that i have worked hard for for a year fly away, but thank god because it turned out that the transaction was not fast enough and the betting closed just bfore it reached so it was sent back, and at that moment i decied never to gamble again, because it is not worth risking moeny for. That was a close call which would really affect you too much if those bet have completely go through. When we are talking gambling results would really be not always give an assurance to ourselves that we would able to win the game.We might say that we arent addicted or whatsoever but we cant escape the fact that gambling cant really affect someones life on positive way but only this thing is just really meant for entertainment this is why risking too big wont really be worth of no matter how good is the bet is. |

Just like everybody else everyone is just so excited to bet on gambling. We always hope to win and when we can win we feel positive to win again. We are sometimes overwhelmed with our emotions that we tend to forget our limits. As for your case I know you leave it in the meantime but as you've said you still get bored sometimes and gambling is your outlet get rid of it. Just remember to have self control and limits in every bet you make.
Yeaaa that is human nature to feel that way , overconfident and still you lost it in the end. Gambling isn't something that you can expect could bring you a steady income. So leave gamble when you feel that something wrong happened to you since you do gamble. If you are really a sensible person you would really able to view on those things that might possibly happen to you if you did decide to let your gambling addiction go further. If you are aware on the actions that you do had made then it should be fine but i would say gambling addiction is somehow a thing that cant really be easily be remove on oneself. |

You are 'guaranteed' to make more coins with investing in a coin...than actually gambling with that same amount.
Who provides/offers this guarantee? If investing in a coin is guaranteed then all people will invest all their money on it, there is no guarantees at all. There is always a risk of losing money when you invest your money in a coin. Why not 'bet' on any cryptocurrency of your choice? - A new promising ICO.
- Or a coin you like.
- Or think is technically good.
- Or is hyped.
- Has a great name/logo/website.
Above things cant guarantee you will make profit. PS: Aslo ignore this if you are a whale and can afford both, anyways  Who can afford both things are not always whales, I'm not a whale but I always use my money that I can afford to lose in both investing and gambling. It is just about preferences, we should not force ourselves if we do not know what is the risk on both activity. Correct which it doesnt really need for you to be a whale to engage or do both things since we can actually do with minimal amounts and its not necessary to put up huge amount.Not only whales do have capability or do have an exception.I dont know why he do mention about guaranteed things since we know that any investment dont really have an assurance to make money anytime. |

Hmm… advice might work, but I think this has to do with more of having luck. When I got into bitcoin, the first year was very, very bad for me, despite the effort I was putting into it and staying up most of the times at night. The second year was no good through out, till the third year. From the third year was when I started earning decently. I mean to say that we cannot expect good opportunities to earn from day one itself. We must get establish up to the environment and requirements then only opportunities will knock our doors. Theres no really need to rush up on those ways which signature campaigns and other related things can make you money easily and come to think off that we would really still need to work hard for us to earn since theres no easy money or profits here on bitcointalk. Well this happened with a friend of mine twice, he is just a one lucky fellow. He is one of those yolo gamblers. He mostly gambles on sports, anyway first time it happened was in South Africa vs Pakistan series where Pakistan was out of the match and they won in the last 2 overs, one by Junaid khan and another with saeed ajmal. His bet was around 2000 dollars on that match and Pakistan won that series. Same kind of stuff happened in the srilanka vs Pakistan t20 match, Pakistan won when they were i think 40/5.
He has won too many bets in these situations, my question is have anyone else experienced this kind of luck while they were gambling?
Of course my lucky moments in gambling is the time lm winning the game. When l stared gambling l used to win on the game often so l enjoy it so much by going shooping with my kids. We used to be happy always bonding.l feel so much lucky but that's just for a while.lt did'nt last long. Because gambling is not for a long-term expectations. In my situation back in the past on where bitcoin gambling isnt still known yet i do love to play physically than on playing online with the use of my card or bank. I would rather choose up to play because its too hassle unlike on just going on physical gambling places you would really enjoy and love the ambiance but now when bitcoin gambling is already famous i do already choose this up because it is really convenience for me to play on just in front of my computer. experiences on your surroundings might be entirely different but ive got used to it already. |

It has been over one year for this to be done. I think it is safe to say that no one will be able to do it. Unless they have had a breach already and patched it up. From what I remember reading of this thread before there was something with an email address getting hacked into but that was not an issue to the site's security one bit. So best to call off this contest if it hasn't been in over a year now. You guys are good!  I have remembered in the past regarding this competition or challenge made by bitdice and now i have read it again and it seems no one did able to get in to get that 1 btc price. Imagine a company with superior customer service (ex. Costco). Costco allows customers to return anything, in any condition for any reason. They are the best in their industry. Now, imagine if after all these years, they just did away with their return policy. That would create triggers and certainly upset a lot of people. In fact, many people may look for alternate shopping solely based on their decision to do away with their ongoing tough to beat return policy. It would be a horrible business move and very comparable to what Nitrogen is doing. For all the new money coming into the BTC gambling, they couldn't have picked a worse time to change their policy.
The case in this is different, your Costco are not wasting so much money by accepting items that their customers return because of whatever reason while nitrogensports will lose so much money everyday if they continue to give free withdrawals, thousands of dollars daily. Its not actually a huge plunge if you do see the price movement for this year on bitcoin i would say we are still on high ranges. Price corrections do really happen which isnt really surprising thing. if you do recently see the news regarding BCH and its plans then it is one of the reason why we do see price decrease as of now but well no matter what happen bitcoin do really recover. |

I guess, gambling is not actually for me.
I kinda feel bad on all the tokens wasted on gambling but it's kinda my "when I'm bored" hobby.

Gambling is not meant for everyone because there are some people that are good in gambling and they even make a leaving from gambling just like those that are good in trading crypto currency. But if you discover that you are not good in gambling I will advice you to stop and focus on other area that you have the comparative advantage over as compare to gambling. Maybe you do mean "living". This is actually true on where there are people who are capable enough to sustain for longer terms but telling or saying about making a living in gambling yes its true but only possible on games which do need knowledge,skills and experience which is only possible on card games or even sports. Well, I don't think so that there is any method you can actually use to win gambling. Maths can't actually help you in gambling as maths is about calculations and gambling is all about luck. You will just need to depend on your luck to win gambling. Especially in roulette there is no such thing you can do with maths, the only thing you could possibly do is predict what might come next and rely on your luck.
As always mention it can be use as basis but no assurance that it will give us good result, its still luck that we can depend in terms of gambling without luck we will keep losing even we try to calculate the numbers of games and each losing or winning streak, we should always remember its all about luck and nothing else. Those math calculations is just being used to add up some spice on our gameplays because it would really be boring if we do just randomly put bets and roll out. First under game history total won amount shows 0.012 LTC but actually the winner is only getting 0.01 LTC so you guys are taking around 20% of total pot as commission which is really high specially at your early stages. All deposit above 0.002 LTC will be ignored. But on game id 24 someone has deposited over 0.19 LTC and the winner have got nothing when checked on block explorer. Any bets below 0.002 LTC will be ignored rather than all deposits above 0.002 LTC   I do like to ask the same thing too which i did observe that bet id which supposedly to be the winner but yet didnt get any winning? Thats very shady or maybe this is just an test phase. newbie question whats more profitable for you trading daily(5% gains) or trade for a weeks like you hold the coin for days or weeks until it price goes up 100%-800%?
Even on weekly basis wont really give you an assurance that most coins will hit up 100-800% because most of the time they do only reach out even more lower as expected but still a good gain if you did able to get out with profits.It wont really matter if it would be a day trade or weekly trade,It would just really depend on the situation if we do see its the right time to pull out then just do it and secure profits. |

Having a limit into betting is sometimes effective. You must set a limit of your losses otherwise it will get bigger everytime you bet into something you always failed. Strategies are like trial and error. Lossing once is enough. Twice is too much. Then, you must change strategy.
