I bought a NeuroticFish for Lunch. xD
I've noticed that somebody has found out that my fNFT doesn't taste too good and now tries to sell it. I think that fNFTs are not for food, but from what I've seen they do look nice in the window.

Bitcoin is a coin and also an investment tool. Some will use it as a coin i.e. will work for it or will sell something for it then spend it quite fast in order to buy everyday things. Some will use it as an investment tool in an attempt to get rich(er). And some will be somewhere in between.
You can "be free" tying together a couple of logs and floating on the ocean. But that may not help you much without a large stash of food and drink, and some tools too. In a way or another, no matter how free we want to be, we go back to society and it's rules, absurd or not.
In this case, whether we like it or not, anybody offering goods and services have to pay taxes to the government under the form the government chooses to, which is usually their fiat. So sooner or later Bitcoin interacts with fiat, whether we sell Bitcoin at exchange, whether we pretend to buy for Bitcoin, but the shop actually receives fiat. The cases the shop receives Bitcoin are seldom and need the shops do certain extra handling in the accounting, I guess.

I don't like it. I don't like the idea of losing control on my coins, I don't like the idea to leave a transaction hanging around unconfirmed for too long. I don't know what the future holds and I see it as an unnecessary risk.

You can trade PayPal bitcoin to real dollars. I would be okay with dollar equivalent in tethers or to my PayPal.
Maybe in a year from now we'll have a forum stable coin too. Obviously not backed by anything ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) For now you have only the option with the merchants.

In momentul cand ii transformi in fiat devii pasibil de plata pentru banii incasati.

I am having trouble finding a way to request a withdrawal of the BTC I received while selling some of my NFTs.
I guess that they may be somewhat like PayPal bitcoins. You'll be able to spend those coins at the other merchants within the forum.

Friend I met here on facebook.
Here is bitcointalk, not facebook ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Don't be like him, sell shitcoins, HODL Bitcoin. Don't short bitcoin.
You don't have to worry about others. One of the main rule of investing is to make your own choices. This way you won't held anybody responsible for them. Your friend followed that rule, which is fine. He was impatient, he made poor choices, tough luck. Hopefully he will learn from his mistakes and next time he'll do better. You did your part: you gave him good advises. Not much else you could do. It's his money, his choices.

Bitcoin traders were always impatient. This "pressure" built up in the last 10 days and I expect that it won't take more than 1-2 days to get back to "normal" (may actually be hours). And this "dump for ants" will not even be remembered ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Now, you need the votes. No. Here you went to wrong direction, hence I stopped reading. Many wealthy people don't care about politics. Many wealthy people don't do politics directly. Instead they have politicians on their payroll - in many cases from multiple parties - politicians that will protect the interests of these wealthy people. And for the title, it's simple: wealthy people can afford to lose huge amounts of money, hence they can do much more than us.

Don't forget that PayPal still works with IOUs they call Bitcoin, not with actual Bitcoin: you cannot deposit nor withdraw, nothing happens on the blockchain... And the same goes for the other coins too.

Now shows on the site https://mempool.space/ that the minimal fee is 1 satoshi \ byte but still cannot send the transaction - the same error. Each node has its own mempool with its own settings. So we don't know what are the settings of the node you are connected to. (I would also try out with 1.1 sat/vbyte, but that's me)

If my math is right then we have 2*(51!) ~ 3*10^66 combinations. That's quite a big number. And for each of those combinations the key has to be converter to address and checked.
Maybe somebody can further (greatly) reduce the numbers, but I don't know how.

Or did you just assume all those posts were made by me? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F05%2F14%2Fblob97ab255cbe6b2652.jpeg&t=664&c=67MCPXAXwVekrQ) No offense, but even myself I get tricked now and then thinking that certain posts were made by LoyceV or suchmoon, until a second look. Apologies to the rest of the gang and maybe a hint / idea to add a tiny differentiation between members.

I once bought some Bitcoin from the internet with a bankpayment. I stored in Multibit-wallet. I do own a password. But that's all. Is there a way to recover? Willing to share :-) I think it was around 2011/2012 or so...
Do you also have by chance the wallet file? Those files' extension was .wallet They contained the text "org.multibit" If you have the wallet file and the password, it should be achievable to get access to your coins. did you have stored your private keys or wallet.dat file ?
I think that multibit didn't use wallet.dat; Bitcoin core uses wallet.dat

Ok, thanks for the advice, very useful info. Interesting will signature campaign work for Marketing Company advertising.
Signature campaign makes a site/topic/whatever more visible. That's clear. How much success it has, I don't know, I don't have a proper way to quantify it. You may find, however, somewhat relevant information here ( Do you click on signatures?), but the answers may usually cover only the signatures that go to external sites.

Eu iti urez sincer multa bafta!

I currently have crypto on Coinbase and Gemini. I'm not sure how you would go about putting them on a personal wallet, but is it worth taking the extra money and doing this? Those 2 exchanges seem fairly safe for holding the coins, but I also have no idea how much the hardware would cost.
It all depends on how much money you have on the exchanges. If you have 100-200$, it may worth the relatively low risk of them getting hacked (for real or pretended), change rules or go bankrupt. If you have significantly bigger amounts of money there, it really worth buying at least a 60 EUR hardware wallet and sleep better. Just imagine your coins gets stolen, you stop investing into Bitcoin and in some years they go up 20x or 100x. And imagine how will you be feeling about that.

Thanks for the advice! I will take a look at the Bounty section. By the way, could you give me a piece of advice about how to promote services on the forum?
You can promote the service as you did, but you may have better chances if you focus onto altcoin services. And you can use your own signature and avatar space to promote your services / your topic. And, if you afford it and you think it worth it, you can pay others too to wear your advertising in their signature space and avatar (but I think that for you it's not the case).
