As many of them here even I do all the three. Most of it goes to savings and I exchange some of it to fiat when I am in need of some money.
The rest of it goes to gambling and betting. Also, I use some of it occasionally for purchases through cryptocurrency.

I guess institutional investors hold more bitcoin because they have big funds to buy bitcoin at any price they want. But satoshi will have the biggest amount of bitcoin  I am sure he will still hold his bitcoin for a long time. The whales are still buying more bitcoin, especially if the price is down, and I am sure that they accumulate more bitcoin in this situation. The institutional investors and the whales are raced to have more and more bitcoin before the price jumps to the highest price. some time ago ETH almost reached a new ATH but only a difference of 10 $ then dropped and is now in the range of 1200 again, maybe the next increase will be the new ATH. my prediction when btc will start going up again ETH will also follow, but for now btc is in correction it could even drop below 30k $
