7323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet is working the best in face of malleability ? on: October 11, 2015, 10:46:09 PM
I think, the one which does not spend UTXO or at least offers a choice not to spend the UTXO, will serve the best...

I think miltibit should handle it good because it don't let you spend btc who isn't confirmed. That way you will not have problem with double spend like those who blockchain give you when you spend unconfirmed btc and one of the inputs get mutated by the malleability bug.
7324  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 11, 2015, 10:40:48 PM
Bitcoin, i'm sure in 10 year it will be in a much better price than now.

The gold will go up, but not as bitcoin.
7325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: sent BTC with highest fee poss says i didn't on: October 10, 2015, 02:10:45 AM
I Know i read it , it upset me i shouldn't have let it upset me sorry for that .

but what would happen if it hit some one that has tons of coins and he or she lost them . we wouldn't hear the end of it. this stuff needs to be fixed before something  really bad happens.

I didn't cause it but I 'm small fish think how a big fish would be  he wouldn't lol it off either

Cya

There is no way to lost coins this way, at last one of the 2 transactions will always confirm.

I'm just learning about this kind of attack and what i can say is "It sucks".
7326  Other / Off-topic / Re: Girlfriend of many years cheats on you, you end it and that night you do what?.. on: October 10, 2015, 02:08:11 AM
Curious to hear what you all would do (let the trolling, laughs, and funny jokes commence)!

Would you go get fucked up, cry, clubbing, go on a vacation....WHAT WOULD YOU DO!

Ps this happened to me last Friday. Went out with friends got fucked up, was somewhat depressed next day and yeah slowly moving on, unfortunately nothing to exciting. But that's where you guys come in!

You should look at the facts.

If she cheat you, was because;

a) She think you cheat her and was on a revenge.

b) She was bored with the relationship and that was the easy way to end it.

c) She was drunk or on drugs.

d) She start a magical trip searching for the biggest "moņoņongo" in the world.

At last the reason don't care, time is the only one who can help you to forget, i send you a hug and hope you find soon a woman who appreciate you and a woman who don't have eyes for any other man.

whats up ? . NM

Guess this is why

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1198032.0

some one is playing around with the block chain again trying to make a point about some thing i guess .

sigh ..

Your transaction only got beaten by the malleability bug.

In easy words, you have the same transaction with 2 tx id's and only one of them will confirm.

You only need some time, maybe a couple of block to see that got fixed.
7328  Other / Off-topic / Re: What programming languages is in demand? on: October 10, 2015, 01:44:54 AM
Hello everyone. I am very interested to know what programming languages is in demand for the year 2015 and 2016 in your own opinion. What new programming languages will the industry be using five years from now (2020).

I have basic understanding on PHP and I would like to learn another or two new language(s) while I am free.
I heard that C++ and Java is a great choice for beginner but... will they still be in demand in the market five years from now? Ten years?

I use Bash script, but i think python and Java script will be on demand for the next 5 years easy.

The only problem i see with python is the multi versions, i mean, mos of programs use python 2.7, but my S.O. came with python 2.6 and there is out now the python 3. That will make the things complex in future.
7329  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth mining? on: October 10, 2015, 01:39:04 AM
Hey guys.

I am currently living in a place where I will get free power for the next 4 years. With the price of miners at the moment should I buy a miner and start mining? If so will it be profitable?

If so what type of miner should I buy?

Thanks

The miner you should buy is this one:

7331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do Bitcoin owners smoke marijuana? on: October 09, 2015, 02:07:25 PM
I live in Canada where hopefully marijuana will soon be legalized and I can start a Bitcoin Bud website for medical MJ users. But the question is do Bitcoin users.... use?

I recently built a website that uses Bitcoin and maybe Trudeau will get voted in... Seems like many will start websites but mine will be with Bitcoin...

Disclaimer... This may be just an idea nothing serious.   Wink

Marijuana business is growing fast, if the will be legal, then ride the wave, do it with bitcoin is a great idea. I see a lot of potential in this business, good luck.
