It is finally matchday and the attracting match for me is Burnley - Manchester United. There wouldn't be a big competition between these teams though. Manchester United should be able to defeat and destroy them without having much problem. They are in the competition for the fourth position in the standings right now. And the current fight is really fierce. They can be left behind so easily if they make a simple mistake. This is not a match that they have the luxury to make that mistake. Burnley are in poor condition and an easy prey for them.
I expect Manchester United to score at least 3 goals in this match. Fred and Greenwood will be in the squad for this match. Moreover, all the important players are now injury free. Brunley is the weakest team in the league. They should score at least 3 goals. If Manchester United have trouble scoring and winning this match too, I would say they don't deserve to be in the top 4 of the points table. It seems that Greenwood is not certain to return with the Manchester United squad after the case that happened to him and is being processed by the authorities in his country. I think United came out with the previous squad when they lost to Middlesbrough last week in the FA Cup. I'm feeling excited about watching Christian Eriksen playing football after a very long time. After the serious incident in his Euro game, it seemed like that his football career ended there. Because his heart problem seems to be a permanent one. However, he still seems to be determined to play for at least six months in the Premier League. His new team are Brentford and I'm looking forward to seeing him play against Manchester City up next. This is going to be a really difficult game maybe but they would try the best they can do.
After almost 6 months, Christian Eriksen finally returned to playing competitive football by joining Brentford. It's a pretty good opportunity and it's great to see Eriksen back playing football and of course Brentford will be the start of his career where he's back to show his capacity as the best player at the moment. Maybe he can't guarantee will get regular position on Brentford maybe first time against with Manchester United will get few minutes playing exactly will play on 60 minutes above. |

I am shocked at Inter lost game against Milan on Saturday.I thought they were going to win that and calmly move forward to the title,they just complicated things by themselves,they were winning and it looks like they took the game after scoring easy and that was the reason Milan got back and scored 2 goals with Oliver Giroud.Now just 1 point ahead nothing is safe for Inter anymore,looks like the Serie A is starting over with this little difference between the leaders.Still I think considering the players individually Inter has better quality and higher chances to win the Serie A this year.
It was a game to watch and show that the Italian league is very competitive.inter thought they have put the game to end despite winning narrowly in the first half but AC Milan came back strongly and shock them. Real Madrid ended the week without making any mistake as they defeated Granada by 1-0. But this was not a comfortable game for Real Madrid too. They are lacking Benzema now and this affects them really badly as for scoring. But the most important thing for them is to continue winning in their league games. Liverpool did not lose any game and they played well since Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane left for AFCON now the tournament is over and they should be available for there next game, with them back I think Liverpool will be stronger let's not forget that they added Luis Diaz to there rank also in this January transfer window,but my fear for them is that this AFCON might cause enemity between Salah and Sadio Mane just like the world cup on Germany 2006 did to Ronaldo and Rooney.
I still hope that the players are professionals and it will not come to real hostility. It was a great comeback for Milan, Olivier Giroud played like his good old Arsenal days. Inter is still the leader but this loss hit them hard, especially when they think about they could win this game until last quarter hour.

I wonder if the result Manchester United got against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup will affect the team in a negative way when it comes to their next Premier League game. FA Cup is one of the prestigious tournaments in England but I still don't think that Manchester United will be under pressure just because of that result. Their main focuses are this league and the Champions League now. So, I think that they will show a strong performance in the Burnley game and make up for the loss I mentioned.

Sevilla did not win their last 2 matches in Laliga but today they will do well. I really think they will win today's match vs Osasuna in a bid to get close to Real Madrid's points in the race for the top of the table. Now that Barcelona have added a couple of players to their team in the person of Aubameyang from Arsenal,I think the issue of goal scoring is a little bit solved,
Barcelona may solve the problem of scoring goals but they forget about improving their defense strength. Barcelona signed Aubameyang after signing Ferran Torres and Adama Traore. Why do they sign all the strikers? I mean it will be useless if their defense is weak. Xavi needs to think about how to improve their defense line as well. Just look at their defense now, I don't see any of the defenders performed well during this season.  Barcelona most serious looking for many forward position after getting three new player on forward position like Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Traore but they was forget have bigger problem on defender position, Barcelona conceded a lot of goals with a defense that is not good Xavi should have looked for alternatives by bringing in one player who plays as a defender. Pique is not enough good as defender position for Barcelona with many mistake made by him and I think they will faced the same problem on defender position on La Liga or EUROPE League next time face with Napoli. |

David de Gea is one of the best goal keepers in the world right now and he has proven that countless times before now he has made tremendous saves countless on match days that ended up saving Manchester United on several occasions, if it wasn’t for David I am not sure Man utd will be where they are in the table right now, he has been United’s best and most outstanding player this season. Sometimes I just regret why he didn’t move to Real Madrid when he has the chance to because I feel he has been suffering in goal post for his team since sir Alex F. left, maybe he had his reasons for not leaving and I am sure he is not really concerned about winning trophies with this team anymore he just want to continue to do what he is born to.
Totally agree with you what super amazing saves by David De Gea for Manchester United so far always not lucky with less bad performance showing by defender and midfielder until forward Manchester United player. I think he need decision leaving Manchester United and looking for new club have good potential get trophies, I can't guarantee he will close career with getting trophies if still become Manchester United goal keeper. But depending with next year waiting new manager for Manchester United can give different thing with last previous club never success give trophies for Manchester United. |
