7321  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Security risk on: July 15, 2021, 10:55:29 PM
Both things are happening with the banks, frauds, hacks and with cryptocurrency exchanges too. We cannot say that the banks aren't investing in their security but they're also aware of such frauds that can bypass their system and that's why they're also investing in their security by taking the most comprehensive security that they can. In my country, there has been a lot of bank attacks yet the banks won't stop improving their security because it's taking a lot of losses on their end. But just like the crypto exchanges, they also got bigger cold storage in fiat, and that is what makes them prepare if some huge attacks happen but hopefully, it won't happen to any of them.
7322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 15, 2021, 10:35:30 PM
That's a fact. Actually, I posted that too before that prior pandemic, PBA audience is not that great except when BGSM is on the playoffs to Finals or any teams at the Finals. However, it's not that games will always be boring, like for example it's not always NorthPort vs DYIP or BlackWater vs NLEX lol, so expect that there will still some people who will watch the game live.

And for the record, last 2019, I able to watch 6 games live at the venue, even watching those farms teams, since like I mentioned, I was nearby Ynares and Smart-Araneta in Cubao. It's only on MOA Area that I'm not able to watch live because I don't want to travel there during rush hour. About 25-30 minutes travel time from our home on usual traffic. Yes, the crowd is sometimes few especially on 1st game even it's Ginebra.  And sometimes free tickets are given to us (one of my friends is working in....) so take the opportunity, always at Upper B for free tickets but a good spot already for a good view. Smiley
Although the coliseum is accessible on my end and I can travel, I just don't want to be a warrior in the middle of the traffic, that's really common on the roads near to Smart Araneta but that's a good experience of you. I've got a friend too before that has offered free tickets because he's working for a certain company that gives out those tickets, maybe that's an incentive but sadly it wasn't pushed. I think I've watched games before, live but I can't remember those particular games because I was still young but I remember that I saw coach Tim Cone personally.

So with all you guys are saying, PBA is not that so popular now that people really want to watch and pay for the ticket. I guess they'll only make big sales during the playoffs or the PBA Finals, especially if the teams that are playing are big teams like Ginebra, SMB, Magnolia and TNT, let's include Meralco.
I'm not saying that it's not popular. It's still popular and I'm satisfied unlike the others that have said it, they feel that it's boring this time and that's what they feel. Usually, that's what is happening when the conference is about to end and it's like the semis or playoffs, that's really getting the attention of the fans. We mostly are skipping those usual games just like in NBA but there's a huge difference if we're going to compare it to them as their people are really supporting the teams and games.
7323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be too desperate to make earning on: July 15, 2021, 10:07:24 PM
For the long term, there's the strategy of holding. It's also the same as trading but you only sell when you see the price goes on the price that you desire and you don't have to be engaged in trading from time to time because you only need to wait until the right time comes. You're right that in the long term, there are more of those matured traders and they're no longer affected by the FUD and bad news that everybody sees from time to time because they're coming no matter what your stand is in the market. And as a trader, you can still earn short-term and make money from it but how sure you're with your strategy that you can make the most of it? unless you really are a professional trader and got a lot of experience and you know how to read indicators and charts.

7325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 15, 2021, 09:18:46 PM
Instead of those altcoins, I highly recommend putting that in bitcoin and ethereum. There's more future to these coins but as long as you know where you are investing, that's much better because you don't rely on someone's decision. We all have our own style of investing and preference in choosing cryptocurrencies that we think that will fit our taste and will yield us profits so if your preferred are the ones that OP suggested do it but I'm telling what's mostly are investing to.
Right mate. I agree. Instead of investing in obscure coins, it is better if you venture to invest in more accurate coins like ETH. However, I recommend XRP and Top 10 coins to my friend, the account owner (Ayub83).
XRP is having trouble with regulation and is battling with SEC towards their issue. I don't recommend holding that coin but no one stops them to keep on working on their coin and with its transactions. I would just go with stronger coins that has been said and that's Eth.
It's been tested and is one of the best coins in the market and that's why I wouldn't go with other altcoins that I don't like. I only stay to those that I like.
7326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 15, 2021, 12:29:42 PM
This is most likely due to the fact that women are still not very familiar with the workings and benefits of crypto currency in daily transaction activities.
That's the idea that we've been thinking about women for every aspect of the economy. That, we're more dominant to all of it and they're not familiar to it because they're only for lite tasks.

and they may think that crypto currency is just an investment tool
This is common thinking not only for women but also for us, men. What's more of they think is that the common idea too that bitcoin isn't a real thing and the taboo that has been put into thinking of most people about it.
7327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s DeFi Space Booms With Over 3M Users on: July 15, 2021, 11:20:18 AM
It's not only DeFi but also its NFT space is also booming. I guess it's still Ethereum as the winner in these segments although there have been some known competitors like Binance, Tron, and other known smart contracts that are competing with DeFi and dApps. And these spaces are going to keep on thriving for the next years although it's questionable if they'll stay but looking at its pacing, I guess that DeFi and other on its line will remain as long as the market is maturing and people have been seen benefiting from it.
7328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 15, 2021, 10:24:47 AM
I kind o like feeling in control of my finances and that means controlling my spending and being very aware of what goes in and what goes out. I normally check my accounts every month and may make a few decisions on what to spend next month if things are not looking correct. One of the things I do is to set aside 10% of my income for things that I really do not need - expensive clothing, gadgets and electronics, books, games,... and part of that is gambling. For me, a reasonable gambling budget is 3 to 5% of my income, although I may allow more if I have some extraordinary income that month. How do you plan your gambling or fun budget?
How I wish that I can still manage to set aside that percentage just for my own leisure and wants. But to have around 3%-5% for your gambling activity is already a good portion of your whole income. As for my gambling budgeting, I only gamble if it's necessary or I just find myself lonely and I have to gamble. I don't have that much budget on it right now as I'm coping up with some expenses but usually it ain't that much if I want to gamble it's just ranging around $20-$50 if I'm on the right mood to gamble.
7329  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 15, 2021, 09:29:20 AM

7330  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: July 15, 2021, 08:36:28 AM
7331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 14, 2021, 10:55:09 PM
Maybe that is because that country does not have more funds to create a lottery than Poland, so they only suggest their people vaccinate. I think that will not be a problem because that is for people's health, and people need to realize that. The virus is already spread in many places and there are no signs of stopping, so it is better to follow what is suggested to us, although that still does not fully protect our body and health.
Whether there's a lottery ticket or any sort of giveaway just to get vaccinated, as long as there's already the provision for the vaccine by the government. People must take of that advantage and moment to get the shot as soon as it's available in their category and place.
It's all about health and Poland is just doing its job to maintain its country with a clean and near virus-free environment whether there's a lottery giveaway or not. That is a must in these times but soon, if the covid infection becomes lower and near to being free and eliminated. Everyone on that country can do everything that they want with or without those goodies.
7332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2021, 09:45:06 PM
I think we will find out tomorrow if this is true.

Seeing an audience in the game is already a good start, which means the IATF is confident that everyone who are in the venue will be safe, and that is because they have vaccines already, so what I'm seeing in the future is that getting vaccinated will be the requirement before you can watch the PBA in the arena.
Let's see if that's already confirmed and verified, they'll put some announcement that's official release to let the fans know if that's for real.
I'm sure that before going into the audience entrance, you'll have to be tested negative and it's only for those fans that are willing to shoulder the expenses and really want to watch the live games. Well, if they want to watch some actions live, that's what I think is the first requirement and that is to test negative through RT-PCR. I hope that it's going to be the main testing that they'll do instead of antigen and other sorts of inaccurate testing.
7333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategic tips experts use to trade Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 09:09:03 PM
There is a mentality, when we see others are sharing success stories, there's always the quote of "if they can do it, we can do it too". But with that final thought that you've mentioned, sometimes it goes with the misleading newbies that if they read people sharing millions that they've earned through trading, they'll also have the same mindset and think that crypto trading is very easy. But upon entering and they've lost for their first tries, they'll blame the market that it's sort of scam because they've lost money.
7334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2021, 08:33:59 PM
They will allow audiences to watch games?? I just hope that it will not be overcrowded but hey I forgot that even though there aren't any pandemics, the number of audiences watching the game is still few so.. yeah no differences Cheesy.
That's unsure if they'll allow audiences but I think they may as long as the protocols would be followed, there's no problem with that and this isn't a bubble set up so there's a likelihood. There's for sure social distancing for those chairs if ever they'll allow people to watch.

Still boring as it is so it is better to just watch on home than going there, watching a boring match.

Either way, I'm just happy that the professional league here in our country will start on the 16th Smiley. Lets enjoy watching some games.
There will be folks that would love to watch the live games and make their tickets worth it as it is their hubby but yeah, I'll choose also to stay at home while watching those games. It's better to be safe than sorry since there's no difference watching it at home.
7335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 14, 2021, 07:41:25 PM
According to the present market scenario, several good currencies, such as XRP, TRX, and others, are decreasing due to various causes.I recommend investing at least $10,000 in XRP, TRX, and other similar currencies, since these coins will soon yield a significant profit margin.
Instead of those altcoins, I highly recommend putting that in bitcoin and ethereum. There's more future to these coins but as long as you know where you are investing, that's much better because you don't rely on someone's decision. 7336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 14, 2021, 11:45:17 AM
Wait thinking while Sleeping ? meaning are you dreaming ? or in bedtime?

If you are thinking while before sleeping then that is already addiction because instead of thinking for what food to buy for tomorrow what you are planning is another expenses.
There are some moments that we get to dream of what we used to think before sleeping. That's really happening and it's caused by overthinking what we'd like to do and that's when you get to enjoy gambling and even thinking of strategy, profits, or recovery most of the time.
Gamblers that tend to have that experience are experiencing serious addiction and they have to recognize that for themselves as it's only one of the signs that they have to know because there's a lot more.
What i believe is we are dreaming of the other way around from what we are thinking , meaning our dream is opposite of what we are in mind while sleeping.
But indeed that once a person is bringing gambling even in His dreams? then this is a sign of gambling addiction because there are lots of things we need to think even in sleep that is more important than gambling .
but of course sometimes this is isolated case only and not really what is tended to be.
If that's what you think, that's totally fine. But that happened to me when I am overthinking, what I had in my mind goes through my dream too. I don't have any evidence but only my experience and that happened not only once but many times. It's like dreaming of the best day that has ever happened to us and because we're too overwhelmed, even in our dreams, that day has reflected and shown because we're too happy to think about it most of the time and that's the same when a gambler overthinks too.
7337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 14, 2021, 09:38:43 AM
Totally insane! it's the best that I've seen and that parlay wins that I usually saw were from my friends and those weren't really that much. This guy became an instant millionaire with the little bet that he did on a parlay. I'm not a fan of parlays but it's interesting to see people win such amounts especially if the bet isn't that lot. I guess I'll have myself look for other interesting wins such as this did have won through a parlay and with a very small amount.
Once luck permits you to win an insane amount like this, what we can say is just a WoW!

A lucky gambler who take away a huge amount out from the house's wallet. Imagine if you'll take this kind of bets out from the knowledge that you
have, sorting all available games and pick it one by one placing everything into your legs parlay.

would like to see that happened to  myself too.. Roll Eyes
Absolutely a wow. There's really a stroke of true luck that others don't believe in and with this guy's win. I guess that there will be more parlay bettors that would also do the same thing as he did and will try it on their own as soon as they saw this news about this guy's win.
Well, this amount from the house isn't that much although this would really be a big amount to most of us but they're always prepared if something like this happens.

The game schedules are now released.
https://www.facebook.com/168046639878446/posts/4874736492542747/

It was posted on their Facebook page. The PBA site is not updated yet but for sure it will be there too later on.

As we can see, triple headers every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and double headers every Saturday. The venue is only on Ynares Center, just few kilometers at my place, although I don't know if few audience will be allowed since it's a semi-bubble.
Finally, it was just a topic recently and suddenly they've released already the schedules. I firstly saw it on a different page, the One Sports and not with their official page.
Three games already for the very first day.
