7321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Good Bounty Managers on: September 19, 2018, 04:12:49 PM
I didn't put this Bounty Manager because he/she get a negative trusts from a DT-2 Member.

needmoney has 77 % based on the comments of forum members.
The ratings are based on the bounty participants / forum members.

Exactly on what basis does that group of managers get 77% rating from you/your method? I had made this thread previously where I showed how they had misled bounty hunters into a promise of wrong ETH equivalent  of tokens by miscalulations - whether it was done willfully or not is why I had PMed needmoney but they never bothered to respond.

[Unethical]Bounty Team Tokensuite Misleading Token Calculations Sprintx

Very likely the method you are using is biased because it does not take into account these older accusations or like they say "Time heals all wounds" - It does not in the internet.

If you chose to promote needmoney, only one can conclude that you are involved with him and thus deserve to be tagged after being warned
7322  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How can we promote our 5-year-old exchange? on: September 19, 2018, 09:31:23 AM
Our exchange was founded in 2013, in the past 5 years, we did not pay much time or money in its promotion.
What was the source of traffic if you didnt promote it at that time? If you got a number of customers sign up at one time - do check what the source of traffic was and you might find some interesting info.

Quote
The whole company were focusing on technology at that time. But now as you know, due to some known or unknown things, we are losing users everyday...
It is not correct to say "unknown" Maybe they are known but the owners are not able to recognize the problem. We humans have the habit or remembering only the good thing and brushing the bad things under the carpet. Its important to rectify those problems as well.

Quote
Some loyal customers advised us to do some promotions to attract more new users. I am here to look for help, can anyone tell me how can I promote our exchange? Of course we will keep focusing on the technology at the same time.
New users wont be attracted if old users have a problem. The way to get back old users is to take into account what the problems are. Maybe revamp your site and take the suggestions into account. Maybe get a proper PR and Management team to work for you.

7323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Increased Number of Scammers on: September 19, 2018, 09:21:46 AM
The vitality of the fraudsters in the cryptocurrency world comes from trust and consensus, greed, blindness, fueled by lax, irresponsible regulatory authorities, multiplied by the mesmerized commission rate. The more people who love crypto, the more fraudsters will appear.
Still the only person to blame for it the person who is taking the risk. Its their money, its their work and its their fault they played with their money. In this sense crypto would seem like gambling or like a speculative market trading. The SEC tried to control some ICOs but then the last decision vests on the shoulder of the investor.

Just some words of advice through my experience:
1. Dont fall for huge returns promises.
2. Check the team members and the advisors if they exist or not. Try to talk to the advisors if they are really involved or not.
3. Read the whitepaper. If you could analyse the market condition of whether the project seems feasible or not that would be even better but most of us cant do that.

7324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always keep fiat while holding on: September 19, 2018, 09:09:56 AM
I this tactics is very applicable. It will require that you have enough funds to support yourself and put some on stand-by should you find yourself in need to buy more coins.
But the time to buy is also important. You might get some fiat in hand at some point but rushing in to buy is the wrong thing to do. People should keep a track of what new coins are entering the market and which new ICOs are good to buy. Then wait for a dip in the price before they buy. Of course this will take time and it wont happen soon - they might have to wait month before they can find a suitable price to buy.

I always have a spare Fiat, in the amount of 30-50% of the total deposit. this is important, because you can buy in a falling market.
Wow that is huge amount of fiat to hold while still trading. I dont about what others do but you might want to diversify your portfolio before keeping that much for side buys.
7325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break from gambling on: September 19, 2018, 09:03:24 AM
It's a great idea to stop playing when you understand the dependence on this. We don't have to forget about real life and our ambitions we have in it.
Gambling should be aimed at fun and not at how people can make money. It is not a source of money for someone going to the casino in a blue moon. Leaving aside professional poker players those who gamble just do it out of greed. They want to make some quick cash and thus they are visiting the site.

Obviously their real life and its conditions are much more important than that. We have to accept it like that and not allow gambling to become an addiction. Becoming dependent on the site is a sign that addiction is starting to set in. That must be stopped before it becomes a full-blown addiction.
7326  Other / Archival / Re: newbie hunting "merit" on: September 18, 2018, 08:53:38 AM
when "merit" is so valuable for beginners will it be "merit" on sale. because from now on there will be so many newbies who hunt "merit" Huh
First, a friendly advice anybody contacting you to be able to sale merits - Dont fall for such scams. The current dearth in merit will cause an internal merit marketplace (pseudo) to emerge to scam newbies. Moreover since newbies will be in general more gullible than others. Also report such people here in Meta so some action can be taken.

Second, it is not tough to earn merits. If the newbies would actually stop posting in Meta whining about merit in every thread and post meaningful content in the other sections of the forum they may get some merits. After all we now have more merit sources as well. Wink
7327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangerous price area on: September 18, 2018, 08:38:25 AM
It is unpredictable market so no one is know the future possibilities of bitcoin. Because number of times many experts says it will reach 10k soon and 20k soon.
Dont speculate on what others are saying. Have your own strategy planned out and play accordingly. You dont have to follow what the heavy hitters are saying but be rational and apply logic to make profits. If you have some basic understanding of how the market works you would not be saying this. 10k wont happen anytime soon. It might be reached this year but the dumping is happening too much so it might dump before it actually reaches there.

It actually varies. When bitcoin was a lot cheaper, people also mined it. I think that bitcoin would always be mined no matter what
People mined it in a more amateurish way when the difficulty was lower and ASICs were not in market. At a time when people could use their CPU and GPUs to mine. Then the "super-specialization" of mining happened and ruined the market for the small term miners.
7328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: September 18, 2018, 08:31:36 AM
Most of us feel like you now. There is no one who doesn't live. When the prices were high, the price drop was unexpected. We all bought it and still expect it, hoping the price will go up.
Buying at the low price is a good thing. What is the regret in that if you are willing to hold? Patience and determination to hold does pay off as we have seen in the case of bitcoin. Those who bought at three figure prices even now are in 10x profits (if not more).

I dump my coins before due to a fake news that is the reason why i almost give up in this industry but still i work hard by promoting cryptocurrency and i earn a huge amount of profit.
You will gradually become resistant to the fake news. Its not new and it is present in every speculative market. Be it stocks or precious metals and even domain flipping. There are people like them everywhere and the best way to deal with them is ignore them.
7329  Other / Meta / Re: A solution to the Merit and sMerit situation? on: September 17, 2018, 08:44:03 AM
I woke up this morning to several new topics about junior members without merits getting downgraded to newbie rank.
Theymos' made a new addition to the forum policies. I think it is an apt decision which was being talked about for a long time now.

Quote
That said, I believe there has to be a feasible and Achievable solution to the merit system as I believe the posts that get rewarded with merits are on a decline.
Cant help it mate. If the merit sources dont see merit-worthy posts they simple wont give you merits. Grin

Quote
1. A suggestion that comes to my mind is the addition of more meditation sources to this forum in the form of moderators who Can award merits to forum users who have added real value
Number of merit sources has increased with the new newbie restrictions.

Quote
2. The second Idea that rings in my mind is this; Forum users with a certain amount of available sMerits should not be eligible to get more merits until they have awarded another member with a merit for adding value to this forum
You are talking about a rule that would restrict the actions of members who have "earned merits". Imposing a restriction on them would be a feasible solution. People merit posts as and when they wish. If you force them to send out their merits, it will create an unhealthy atmosphere. Let alone the dearth in the posts that deserve any merit at all.

7330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worst situation of bitcoin! on: September 17, 2018, 08:39:30 AM
Yes, it is, it scares off new investors, I think the whales want it at the moment. When it becomes profitable for them to grow the market it will go to the top, they have billions of dollars in budgets for advertising !
They are no investors if it "scares them away". Investors enter into new markets because they are willing to take the risk and the reward. Then if people are making money from it, more investors flock in. But this does not end up in organic growth since the weak trembling fingers point towards the sell button very quickly when the market becomes red. In my opinion those are not the real investors but newbies who got into the market to make some quick cash.

NO PANIC-SELLING PLEAASEEEE!
Sadly it will happen again and again even if we try to calm their tits. Undecided
7331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom of BTC descending channel is 3000$? on: September 17, 2018, 08:29:12 AM
All of them are only reviews written on paper and that is only a prediction.
I will not believe in predictions, because predictions can sometimes be wrong and can also be true.

I'd better believe in myself.
Thats good because nerves of steel is what is needed in trading during the bear market. If you fall for the wrong emotions then you will either sell at loss or get a heart attack. Either one of them are hazardous and would not want it to happen. Grin

On the bright side if you have the nerve to hold during the bearish trend to wait for the bull run you would be in profit. But what is needed is the patience. Just like the patience the bitcoin hodlers had in 2010-2016.

Old investors got out. Now its time for new investors and their starting price of entry point of 6500$ for 1 btc.
You can actually get in a a lot lower price. Not now because the price is moving between 6k and 7k USD everyday now. We are hoping for a small bull run followed by a bearish drop again.
7332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online gambling games fixed? on: September 17, 2018, 08:23:41 AM
To some extent I think it is fixed because as I know nobody made money from online gambling.
You are wrong about that. People have made money from casinos and there are proofs of that. If you keep thinking like that because you are yourself losing then you are in a delusion.

Quote
It means that online gamblings are fixed and they will never let you win the game.
Looks like you dont know what is provably fair algorithm. Most reputed casinos here have this algorithm in place and you can use it to verify the rolls to make sure they are not baised and the casino never had extra chance of winning that the player.

Quote
When you start gambling for the first time, you will win several times. It doesn’t mean that you are playing well but it means that they are allowing you to win and then they take all your money.
That just luck. If you win then its your luck and its you lose then also its because of your luck. The lies spoken by people online are often because they were losers themselves or they never actually took part in it. Dont believe in those but rather try to verify your rolls to make sure they are not rigged. Some scam sites are there but the reputed well known ones are not.
7333  Other / Meta / Re: Do you think more merit sources need to be added? on: September 16, 2018, 03:45:34 PM
Definitely we need more merit.sources so that jr.membera like us will be able to get at least a member rank. It is so hard to rank now because if merit system thus required as to get 10 merits to rank. This task is difficult because i am not good in english at the same time i only post on what i wanted to express here in the forum and not that good poster like others.
Have you tried electing someone for your local board to become a merit source? Maybe you need to talk to some other people of your local section who are active and willing to take part in a voting? I know its difficult for the non-english posters to gather merits in the English sections but the easy solution to that is to decide among yourselves a local merit source who can take up this responsibility.

It's a good idea adding more merit sources but having more merit sources than right now will be the same as it is because it's not up to merit sources alone to reward merit but the poster also as posters are the one to receive or earn his/her reward.
Thanks for pointing this out because this post of yours is a perfect example of the generic posts that dont deserve any merits.
7334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy fast and sell fast on: September 16, 2018, 03:39:34 PM
I think this is a very good idea, but the main thing is to know when to buy, because it can fall and you will not sell it. I say this in my experience)
Maybe people have forgotten about something called patience. Decisive decisions are also important but being patient helps a trader by a great deal. If you are hasty in taking decisions you will make mistakes unless of course you are some professional trader of crypto.

Right now from the point of view of safe trading "Buy fast and sell fast" is the best strategy. There are rapid and manipulated fallings in the market. So it is better just fix profit and get your money as soon as possible quickly.
It is just a big way to lose your money. I dont understand the statement of "Getting money quickly" - the world does not work like that and I have seen that with my own experience. These people will run into the frontlines like suicide warriors and the ones who have the last laugh are the whales pumping them. Have patience and watch the market before deciding whether to buy or less.
7335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: September 16, 2018, 03:35:31 PM
My greates regret was buying ripple on its hype and selling bitcoin wayback on 2011. Lose money specially on ripple
I remember I made some good profits by selling ripple near to 2.5 USD/XRP after having bought a chunk at price of 20cents. Big damn profit it was and I hope to see more this year too. Dont be sad about them but rather plan your future investments. Use the money you have at hand to buy some chunks of the top few altcoins at low prices and then hold them for future returns.

Nothing of a big deal unless you are speculative about every market movement. If thats your case then you would lose a lot speculating and panic selling.
7336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: September 16, 2018, 03:31:20 PM
Asides from that, being lonely and in a state of depression even makes it so impossible for you to have the right mindset and be able to think straight as a person and that sets in room for a lot of crazy emotional decisions that usually lead people into doing what they are not supposed to do. For someone that is already depressed, gambling can even make the person more depressed.
It can and it will. Losing money does not make a person happy unless they mentally retarded. The ones who gamble for making money would actually lose money and become depressed. So this can lead to the person getting addicted and thus in the addicted gambler maybe the addiction is fueled by the dissatisfaction and depression.

However a person who is clinically depressed would remain secluded and not attempt social exposure. Thats why it seems contradictory for gambling (which is a social event) to be the cause of depression.
7337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: September 15, 2018, 04:45:45 PM
The pleasure lies in the art of gambling itself, I usually gamble on soccer how happy it is when the team we hold scores goals and we can see the moody facial expressions of our opponents and it makes me very happy. the problem of winning or losing is already at risk from playing gambling.
But thats a social output and not always is it going to manifest unless you are betting with your friends - maybe in the same casino face to face or just in the same room you got a pot on which you are betting.

The social aspect of gambling being friend getting together and a friendly bet on a soccer game does sound nice and "fun". Maybe someone in future might come up with such an idea how friends could decide on a pot contributed by them with cryptocurrencies and then place bets in attempt to win the pot.
7338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a profit with the dump of the price in the market? on: September 15, 2018, 04:41:10 PM
When you benefit from trading altcoins, separate the capital of Bitcoin and profit from Bitcoin.
Then you buy the altcoins again with the capital you have which has been separated from the profits.
You are wrong here because you are thinking in terms of the crypto return. That return from trading altcoins can be used to convert to USDT tether for the time being. Imagine selling some alts at the December 2017 Bullrun against USDT. Now when the bear market hits you can use that Tether to buy a lot of bitcoin proportionally higher than what you could buy back in December.

when i lost my profit in sone token i just do day tarding, iys like i sold it in current price and then when it goes down i bought again.
I dont think you got the essence of day trading and possibly you sold at a loss or barely any profit. You might want to learn a bit about day trading before jumping into it.
7339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn cryptocurrency day trading! on: September 15, 2018, 04:37:06 PM
There is no such thing to learn, it was very simple to trade, investing and selling your coins at the right time will make you earn a huge amount of profit in the market.
Everyone here knows that but nobody can predict the time to buy and time to sell. But if you want to get an idea of when the market is going to drop look for the possible FUD in the market and also if the weekend is approaching then a dump may happen soon. Again since last year there was a massive bullrun in December this year also people are looking forward to such a bull run.

On social media you may see a lot of people blabbering about the end of crypto and all - they are just spreading FUD. Take you own decisions and be firm to them. Sell when you need to and buy when you see its a dip.
7340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: September 15, 2018, 04:32:53 PM
Surely wish you good luck, if we want save our money with trading we will have to know about all features related to it, if we will learn about trading skills for day so it will give us more chances to earn money, I personally have no eyepiece with day trading but I have with long term trading, so day trading is really profitable but one should have proper time and experience with it.
It is profitable for those who know how to pump the market and how to manipulate it. That would be the whales who can put in a lot of money into the market in short period of time. For an ordinary trader its not possible for to do so and they would fail in between the pumps. They would either sell prematurely or will sell at loss.

It also need a lot of sticking to the site and following the market movement every second. Its literally not possible for those who have a job and trading is something extra for them. The time taken to learn day trading would go to waste if someone tries to be an amateur in it.
