7341  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: February 27, 2017, 01:02:05 AM
I have read several articles about it and the main factor or the catalyst as the way they have said it is because of drugs. Bitcoin is a popular currency in deaking with deepweb transactions especially in the site called silk road. This site is the reason why Bitcoin tripled its price and everytime it shuts down Bitcoin's value decreases but everytime a new version of Silk Road is open it increases again.
I think bitcoin famous not because the black market or illegal transactions. but bitcoin bitcoin famous for a very profitable investment. would demand of it makes bitcoin prices rise
The other important thing if a lot of the people are trying to get full control of his financial. and the digital assets have offered it. It makes the cryptocurrency being famous into a lot of the people outta here.
7342  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: February 27, 2017, 12:59:05 AM
Hi ! First message here.

If a global disaster would happen on earth ( And I somehow don't wish it ) Would the value increase or decrease ?

I'm not talking about solar flares or EMP. But more like big wars or great natural disaster.

What are your opinions on the subject ?  Cheesy

Actually the primary thing to affecting the increase or decrease price of the cryptocurrency is the economic disaster. The nature disaster will not giving anything for the price. but with the world war, it means if the world already on the more than just an economic disaster.
My conclusion you couldn't have used the cryptocurrency in such condition.
7343  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: February 27, 2017, 12:55:29 AM
I am sorry to hear about your losses which could have bought you a new Mercedes but it is pretty unusual for a bank to close an account with so much money in it. I am sure something fraudulent happened with your account and hence they have closed it with proper legal advice.

However, banks are the backbone of any country's economy and hence they are way more powerful than any common man or any other institution. So it is really hard for us to fight with them. Try filling a court case against the bank and see what happens. If nothing illegal happened in your account, most likely you will get your money back.

When a bank closes an account, they don't just get  to keep the money. That would set up a perverted incentive structure to find as many reasons to close accounts as they can so they can just confiscate any funds in the bank. Allowing such a policy would lead to a lack of confidence in the banks. A bank doesn't have to open an account for you, but they can't steal your money either.

Why the bank to close your account? Bank is not profitable to do so. They are now on the contrary attract as many users as possible. This is due to the fact that banks are benefiting from it
The bank is closing his customer account caused by there is the suspicious action on their customer account.
TheBank is following the rule. They will be taking an act if there is the suspicious act against his rules.
7344  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: February 27, 2017, 12:48:09 AM
I don't even see the point.
Only 3 uses to a bank:
-keeping your property safe -> useless if you have your own wallet
-keeping up with inflation through the 2% you'l earn a year -> ridiculous compared to BTC inflation
-having your money accessible at all time through credit card -> digital currency hello?
I think the number 1 reason that you give is probably the reason a bank of bitcoin could happen, if you have some knowledge of computers then securing your coins yourself is very easy but for the average person that only knows how to use instagram and facebook it may be harder and then they may decide to use an additional service for it.
but when bitcoin bank offers guaranteed security. precisely wallet offering better terms to provide high security such as authentication and without control by anyone ?

no bank can offer you more security than you can achieve on your own while using bitcoin with cold storage.
and i strongly disagree with the need to be a computer expert in order to achieve the security.
it is not that hard to make a cold storage such as paper wallet and run a wallet on an air-gap system for signing,... and there are lots of walk throughs to read for this.
in fact banks also give you more security because they have the support and supervision of the governments. banks are the more important part of our life, as currently we are mostly depending on fiat therefore banks are also too much important for fiat.

Banks are important, because we all depend on fiat. If we free ourselves from this dependence, we will not need banks. We will be able to freely use their own wallets, and Bitcoins
We will still need a bank in our real life but it is different if the bitcoin atm already spread around the world. and I guess we can withdrawing our money everywhere without need the bank to recognise it.

We are no need bank to keep our financial but we need bank to connecting the digital financial with our lives.
7345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to buy on: February 26, 2017, 03:50:27 PM
I think right now is the time to buy it. I will speculate that the price will still rise and may reach 1500$ in two weeks time. Then probably set a cap if you are going to sell or dump it later for profit.
But i need an evidnece from SEC if they will be accepting bitcoin before the bitcoin price can increase over $1500 (irrational in my opinion) Just sell them before the SEC deadline and everyone will get a profit.

When there is a corruption at the very top, you can safely assume that many people were also involved in a planned corruption. They've already scammed $1 million out of the community.

This project raised $1 million but it doesn't start until March?
Does this date already on a march? I don't think so. The project still has a lot of the problem. I guess they will not starting the ico in a short time.  Roll Eyes
7347  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't want a $2,000 bitcoin by February on: February 26, 2017, 09:55:02 AM
do you not look at the chart? the bulls are back now

Yeah price is 1158$ now. Hope everyone is enjoying it value is moving to next peak i think but not sure. How long this value reached to this year. This 2000$ expectation will be fulfill on upcoming halving only as it happen like last year halving.
I guess the approval of bitcoin etf will never bring the bitcoin toward $2000. and the maximum price of bitcoin is $1500 if the SEC already approved bitcoin to sign in the US. Let see what will be doing by the market.
7348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price on: February 26, 2017, 09:52:43 AM
Is it wise to buy in bitcoins now at a so high price($1171)?
Do you think it is going to rise a new high level?

The price will no doubt go beyond 1171$. You should have buy bitcoins when the price was less than 1000@.
Honestly, We'll never see bitcoin is under $1000. But i will be expecting a little dump after 11 march. The approval of bitcoin etf by US securities will increase the price but nothing happen if the US securities delaying it again.
7349  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think bull run coming soon on: February 26, 2017, 09:49:29 AM
My guess, the correction stage already passed and we will see the bullrun stage will be starting as soon as possible until near of 11 march. I'll HODL my bitcoin in my pouch. Sell them in near of 11 march.
7350  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: February 26, 2017, 09:44:50 AM
all bussness still can risky but you can minimum to risk
if you want loan you must use colletaral, is safe two person, if give and receive loan, and you not trust open service lending
you can use escrow, so pay escrow receiver loan

But why i need use escrow to receive my loans? The bigger mistake for the lender to give a loan which its loan have a same value with a collateral, if we are trying to look at the bank system everywhere and anywhere the value of the collateral are highest rather than the decimal of the loan.
7351  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: February 26, 2017, 09:41:56 AM
it's impossible to reach those levels : 30-40 , 40-50 , 50-60 , 60-70 , 80-90 , 90-100 .
i think it's just will reach between 2-5 or 5-10 by 2020 .
but after 10 years ,the percentage will be 50-60 . i think that .

I agree that around 5% - 15% of global population will own bitcoin by 2020.  There are lots of country that don't have access to internet so that will be the first problem.  Second is the on going bad press about bitcoin which make merchants to have second thought on adopting bitcoin .  Added the illiteracy of people on using digital gadget.
It's anyway depends on people local mentalities, trust in any other currency, then there own fiat money. And some countries, not welcoming digital currencies politics, because of easiest and non-informative transactions (Names, birthday date etc...) which allows people to purchase : weapons, drugs, illegal stuff. And it should be around 2%-5% on my opinion
It still not unpredictable, there some researching to determining the specifical amount of the bitcoin users but it seems like it will be never happening. A lot of the problems such as the lack of knowledge by people around the world about bitcoin will make it just get a little increase everytime.
7352  Economy / Speculation / Re: best strategy right now : buy & hold + buy more VS buy & sell on: February 25, 2017, 04:29:02 PM
So maybe it it time to change my strategy to buy & hold + buy more After the ETF dicision I will stop selling my coins for a couple years at least. What do you guys think ?
Every bitcoin users have betting on 11 march, Does SEC approve bitcoin or not. So about your strategy it looks like the current condition is unpredictable, but most of the speculators are saying if there are a lots of chance for SEC try to give a delay again about ETF decision.
7353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soon BTC will pass Gold Price. When? Comment with a [POLL] on: February 25, 2017, 04:26:42 PM
Soon BTC (imho) will not only pass the old mt. gox price for BTC but GOLD itself!

When do you think this will happen [POLL] and comment on this thread on what such results would come of such

to the BTC universe.

Enjoy and comment on the above and take the poll please Smiley
What a gold price? Are you mean about 1 carat worth of gold?

And bitcoin already did it. but I don't think btc can pass a kilo or a ton worth of gold. I may misunderstand with your intention. correct me if i'm wrong.
7354  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 25, 2017, 03:47:29 PM
I am having a feeling that on March the first bitcoin ETF will be approved by the SEC (perhaps with tight regulations) and then we can bitcoin price sky rocketing to a new level. Bitcoin is at the breakout level to a new All time highs, So holding seems like a more sensible option for now. However we cannot rule out the downside if the ETF is rejected by SEC.

The bitcoin price has already risen. So even if it is approved, the price will not rise a lot.

A lot of the money will flow to bitcoin and it will make the price of bitcoin rise again, but if it is not get approving by us securities and nothing will be happening after 11 march and the price is on the steady way. so this just a rumour hype. and ready for 11 march.
7355  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be effect of denial from ETF on: February 25, 2017, 01:38:20 PM
I hope only ETF and SEC can aprove bitcoin
and china regulation china autorized , can good result about investigation china exchanger, if two not good result i think is big affect bitcoin price can crash and big dump and big down price
Your words are  make a non sense for me, Or you must read about the definition of ETF and SEC. It seems like you are lack of knowledge about it. The price of bitcoin will around $1000 and it will never get dump to the $900 and etc.
7356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QTUM - calling all S-C-A-M Hunters. Billionaires, whales, chinese exchanges?? on: February 25, 2017, 01:32:19 PM
Let me add another red flag into your decision making.

Roger Ver hates Star Xu. He is in a legal battle with Okcoin.
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-investor-roger-ver-to-push-for-okcoin-liquidation-in-court/

Do you honestly think they can work together?

As I see it, the project lumped together all the popular people in crypto to create an illusion of an all-star team. Even this Bo Shen, lolz. Do some googling to understand.
Too many illusions on the qtum project, Does roger ver realize if he on the same way with Star Xu. And i don't think if Okcoin is good project. So, the founder is trying to manipulating the condition and make a lot of the people are supporting qtum project. But this is my opinion. I respect about the others people's opinion.
7357  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 25, 2017, 12:19:19 PM
Yeah as long as there will be a huge number of visitor,
We all know that the owner would only earn through the visitors of the site.
But it looks like very difficult to get a lot of the visitor, with an evidence too many the faucet site is dead, because they're not having enough visitor to make his circulation is always running. So i think its idea is very risky in my mind.
7358  Economy / Economics / Re: What It Means For Banks When Bitcoin Is Worth More Than Gold? on: February 25, 2017, 12:10:13 PM
It would not mean anything. Just a mad person to sell his bitcoin for the lower price. but actually, $1200 is ATH of bitcoin. So for those people have already sold their bitcoin at that price and they're so lucky person.
7359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: February 24, 2017, 09:56:50 AM
Making money from fiat is the way to make bitcoin or ethereum, if you work hard, and find part-time job in ethereum community, you will earn ETH.

I mine the ETH directly.

Mining ETH is a good way to earn ETH, but there are too many huge miners mine ETH too, small miners can hardly earn ETH. Chinese whale miners are a lot.
But it's better rather than tryin to buy your ether. with building your mining rig you can generate ether coin anytime. With the guarantee you can sell your mining rig again. It's very good way in my mind.
7360  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen 9th march ? on: February 24, 2017, 09:26:56 AM
Im afraid the jury might be out for the ETF and this dump might go on taking BTC under 1000.00 $. Maybe theres a group of people who already knows what the decision will be. Theres always someone connected who knows whats going on secretly behind closed doors.
Bitcoin is too strong to get the correction on 11 march. I believe if the SEC is not approving the bitcoin etf in 11 march. they still need more time to make a decision. so we will see the approval in the next time.
I guess will be wise to sell our bitcoin in near of 11 march.
