7341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is China still going to ban bitcoin exchange in China on: September 28, 2017, 10:14:31 AM
We can't really tell. They have taken a step back in their decision. So for sure if they might have a change of heart once they found out that their decision was not for the greater good of the Chinese community. And might suddenly make a U-turn again and allow the operations of their local exchanges. We have to wait and see how things pans out.
7342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: any one tell why ico ban in china?? on: September 27, 2017, 10:58:33 AM
The government of China says that the practice of raising investment by selling tokens in return for cash (ICO) is illegal fundraising. Thus, resulting to a total ban of it. Or maybe China is really affected economically because millions of dollars have been flowing in and out of their country because of Chinese investment of ICO. I read that it maybe a temporary ban, but if they would allow them again, the company should apply license before operating to ensure that only legitimate companies are able to use the method to raise funds.

7343  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: September 27, 2017, 10:08:05 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Maybe sooner, bitcoin will defeated gold value, this is my opinion.the only things bitcoin is greater than gold is that bitcoin can use in stock exchange while you cannot barter  gold in the market.bitcoin is visible and you can carry it anytime in your wallet, whenever you wer go, while you cannot carry gold anytime in your pocket because its huge.

By now bitcoin has already tripled the price of gold per ounce. But I don't know why people are comparing both of them because it is obvious that gold is physical while bitcoin is not. The only thing that I can think of is that they are good are form of investment portfolio, other than that no point of really comparing them.
7344  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW BITCOIN FAUCET on: September 27, 2017, 09:36:14 AM
Glad to see another bitcoin faucet. I might try to see if I can get free satoshi as the website has advertise. How much though is the minimum withdrawal? How much time to do you think that I need everyday to spend in doing faucet claiming? I'm seeing that people have said that faucet is not profitable and time wasting. Maybe I just need to allot some time in it per day that's why I'm asking. Thank you.
7345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 27, 2017, 09:08:57 AM
Why not put yourself into other hobbies like going sports related. This should help you to stay away from the temptation of gambling. And your mind would be busy and not always think of going online to play or even going to traditional fiat casino. But the most important factor for me so that you can keep away from gambling is your family. Think of them always before starting to gamble.
7346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Community Governance | Bitcoin Devs | Lightning Network on: September 22, 2017, 05:31:38 PM
So sick! What awesome news about atomic swap. This is just another step in the right direction for Decred. Also the fact that roughly 41% is locked up in POS mining through

Decreds revolutionary POA (proof of activity) is a solid thumbs up. Gotta like the direction that this is heading in now

That is a very good development of the DCR.
7347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining profitability keep going down, or will it stop - or increase? on: July 08, 2017, 03:06:08 PM
i think yes for now, mining is always up and down like trading, now everything is red like in winter season, but will return to green in autumn season, it's always like that, you must be new here if you believe otherwise, don't worry the market will recover

That is right. But I think the mining profit will go down in the short term at least.
7348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: April 23, 2017, 07:37:21 AM
Hello Experts,
I heard that DCR may hit $75 Once they release V1..Is that true ?

This would be a marketcap of 354 Million Dollar, so imo not very difficult (in the future), Decred can hit 1 billion dollar marketcap = 211 Dollar for 1 Coin.

When a coin has a marketcap of $1 billion, that doesn't mean that $1 billion was actually invested in it.

https://medium.com/@WhalePanda/the-bitcoin-dominance-indicator-fallacy-2b11093869d4

Of course not. Marketcap is in indicator of value, not total investment.

That is right. The marketcap indicates people's confidence in DCR.
7349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price drop few hours ago? on: March 17, 2017, 11:05:06 AM
Fear of hardfork fear and a little profit taking from alts which will remain nameless. That is at least why I sold some =)

Did you use the proceeds to buy some altcoins? The ETH is rising fast.
7350  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 26, 2017, 09:48:02 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
While saving is good, it is still better to invest your money to something that will guaranteed your earnings, such as putting up your own business. It may take a lot of time and efforts but with patience and perseverance it will all be worth it. Just learn to manage your money wisely.

Set up an own business is quite risky.
7351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 05, 2017, 08:28:43 AM
Nvidia people are beating us.
Almost 500 H/s with their overpriced 1070 and almost 600 H/s with the even more overpriced 1080.

I get 550 on 1060 3gb with 40 watt in the wall..

That is really fast. Much better than my R9 nano.
7352  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: December 21, 2016, 10:46:11 AM
Even with their big fees the most good deals just show up at ebay, we dont have a similiar platafform working with bitcoin, and if we had we would still have a problem, we would need some escrow service to act between buyer and seller, because the product might be damaged and the buyer will ask for a refund. At the next 10 years i believe they will reduce those fees, otherwise crypto world may get their business.

I don't think that the next 10 years they will reduce fees because of the inflation as well as the cost of living is increasing yearly. Instead of saying that ebay/paypal will have a reduction for the fees they've got, they will probably improve their service and that will be charged to their consumers, including me and you.
They wont really do that thing and you are right instead of reducing their fee they will eventually do the opposite which is increasing more and we cant really do anything about it since people would still use their service and you are right the standards of living will increase as the years goes by and in just commonsense they would rise up too thats why ive choose bitcoin over paypal because of this matter.
High fee of paypal or ebay wont really change and the thing you said is very true thats why having bitcoin is really a big privilege for us to use it with less fees compared to paypal and regarding on money transfer it is somehow fast but irreversible but doesnt matter at all. I hope that there are many online stores will accept bitcoin as a payment in the future.

And it is also possible that these companies will accept bitcoin soon. Since people will look for some other options to make them save a lot of money with the same services, I'm sure that they are keeping an eye for adoption of bitcoin. They might not doing it now but that is also a possible thing in the future when their sales are cut down to half.

If the bitcoin price rises to certain level, they will adopt it.
7353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.1 on: December 15, 2016, 09:41:29 AM
Read Zec whitepaper and equihash. Not impressed. Ethereum offers better ingenuity in tech terms.

But it is anonymous.
7354  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 23, 2016, 05:33:04 PM
This time is perfect to invest all the money, or most of the money you have in the form of bitcoin. Well, many people are predicting that the price increase at the end of the year bitcoin so is high, so it might be very good if you invest the money you have into bitcoin. I'm sure it will make a profit, and if that does not happen, then you may have to play trading to refund the money you have or build another business

All the predictions is just based on assumptions which might not be achievable as we have several predictions like that in the past concerning crytos and the end, they fail to live up to expectations and every investments down the drain.Who will be responsible for that. From my own point I think the decision should be made on an individual perception and nothing else and also invest only money you wont be needing in short-term and keep some in the main time...
With the bitfinex hack, bitcoin has lost some value for a while, but since the 500-600 dollars, people who had bought on those period and invested their fiat into bitcoin were able to make alreasy easy money, im not saying that this will keep happening with bitcoin, but the projections are bitcoin at 1000 dollars at 2020 next halving event.

I think the bitcoin has already recovered from the Bitfinex hack. Before the hack, the price was about $620. Now it is $750.
7355  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: November 20, 2016, 03:28:11 PM
They charge the same value since they open the doors, i do understand paypal fees in Europe, but Brazilian fees are insane, i didnt said only honest person should be at bitcoin, i said just honest people should buy and sell their products for bitcoin, instead of fiat.

So the people in the Brazil should use the bitcoin more than the people in the Europe or the America.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

I think that it's better to save my money than investing it in a scams Smiley i think so that all of investments were almost scam and just trying to stole my money so i just saving my money than to risk on a scam investments that will make me a beggar hahaha lol.

that is right. There are too many bitcoin related scams. It is better to just hold the bitcoin in a cold wallet.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
You can do both but it is saver to save your money for use because then you know that that money is not going anywhere and you can make use of it when you want.
If you invest it is not use that you are getting your money back and it might take a while.

For the bitcoin, as its price will rise in the long term, it might rise 50% a year, not many other investment can beat that.
7358  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: September 30, 2016, 05:33:32 PM
These companies really have a very big ridiculous fee it's incredible but I don't ever use paypals service anymore.
Paypal really screwed over alot of customers and paypal accounts are being hacked constantly. Just feels like one big scam.

After the bitcoin become more popular and it is used a 10% of the world population, the Paypal will use bitcoin.
7359  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: September 21, 2016, 06:55:10 AM
Don't even touch paypal unless you're ok with tons of limitations and your funds held for several weeks. If you can get past that, and you are fine with all of the fees then go right ahead. Why use paypal if you have bitcoin?

Yeah since bitcoin is there we must use bitcoin as it is more convenient, safe and fast at all. Unlike paypal who is really charging very high fees and as well as hidden fees. It is better if we are going to boycott the use of paypal if we can fully use bitcoin for transferring and accepting payments from our clients and customers.

The Paypal charges higher fees maybe because the banks charge it higher fee. When it uses bitcoin, the fee will be lower.
7360  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: September 11, 2016, 08:52:41 AM
You need to remember. paypal is a company, BTC is a currency system.
Paypal is simply facilitating fiat money transfer.

I run a ebay store and my last invoice was $900AUD, for around $4k gross sales.
I only made around $1000 profit, so, my fees were equal to the same amount of my profit.
Literally half my money.
 Roll Eyes

Thats why people need ot think into new ways to keep and sell their products, soo if you had made those trade with bitcoins you would pay something like 50 dollars, maybe and be able to get 1850AUD as profit, did you consider to try to sell with bitcoin into another place?

Bitcoin, is a crytocurrency. It is to confusing for regular people to understand / use as a form of trading goods.
eBay is easily accessible, people in most countries are able to use it with ease with paypal and link there credit card and make purchases without any problems.

Once again...Bitcoin is a CUREENCY, not a system / business / auction site.
Ebay is simply facilitating the trading of goods and services for money.
You cannot say if i made those trades i would pay less, because ebay decides the tax rate for there business model.
They have protection in place for buyers / sellers (usually buyers, sellers get fucked in the ass) so that is how they justify these high rates.
And they have built there business over the years, eBay is a trademark which you can walk into another country and say the word and they will know it, much like Coke or Pokemon, its a brand.

That is right. The ideal situation would be that the Paypal integrates the bitcoin in its payment system and people can use the Ebay.
