7341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH scam awareness on: November 12, 2017, 02:36:36 AM
Bitcoin needs to invest in Media. I have several times experienced bad things happening to good people due to lack of investment in media. Media and Lies are why the crooks thrive easily. Here are some advice that could help:
* Invest heavily in media.
* Counter every one of their lies and propaganda. Never leave the community in the dark.
*  They fight very nasty and hardly give up. Fight nasty too but covertly. Try to be civil publicly.
*  Always anticipate their next attacks and fix all vulnerability that may be exploited.
* Brainstorm on important matters.
*  Unite the community more. Don't tolerate any form of divisiveness.

* Continue  negotiating with reasonable rivals secretly . Provide them with offers they can't easily resist even protection from crooks may be important , sometimes the rivals are being blackmail to act against the community.

* Don't tolerate  disloyalty,  lawlessness, bribery, lies and propaganda at this critical moment.

If that will render the desperados  useless, Why not? It is better than doing nothing.
The community will be in total support.
7343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are miners abandoning BTC? on: November 11, 2017, 06:05:10 PM
They could all switch to other little Altcoin as they want. That will even help fix the Bitcoin Mining difficulty problem. The unnecessary hyping of an insignificant Altcoin is very annoying. Bitcointalk needs to include the ability to hide keywords.
7344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: November 11, 2017, 04:16:03 PM
Nice reading this on this great "time machine."

It's strange his account became active March this year (2017) whereas he passed away 2014.. Probably accessed by his family?
All the early developers of Bitcoin are great people. You gave humanity the best gift ever.
7345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BITCOIN vs bitcoin.c , Why Principle matters in this battle. on: November 11, 2017, 01:44:41 PM
Seems the third Altcoin on coinmarketcap known as bitcoin cash is desperately scheming to overthrowing its great Father, the Bitcoin. It's has deployed several tactics to achieve this which include deceit, lawlessness, propaganda, media war, creating clones and wooing greedy Bitcoiners.

I have never traded the Altcoin before b/c I am uncomfortable with it. It's most likely a coin with anti-crypto/anti-Bitcoin agenda. So the best thing is to avoid it completely. By trading it,  you are helping to further its agenda... same way patrioning anti-bitcoin/anti-crypto websites is helpful to their cause.

So stay away from the Coin. It is probably an Enemy . Don't even accept free coin from them.
7346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin undergoing a correction? on: November 10, 2017, 11:51:23 PM
Its down over $500 from yesterday and seems like its going to go down more. I hope not.

This is Cryptocurrency World for you. Prices aren't set on stone.
Bitcoin cannot always go up all the time. Don't expect too much from it. It's susceptible to volatility too. It has done really well this year. We need to be very grateful.
7347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wi-fi.global is a SCAM on: November 10, 2017, 10:47:19 PM
The project isn't unique in any way.. I haven't gone through it  though.
There is a similar one already, known as WIC. You should probably research how far WIC has gone and how well it is doing before throwing in your hard earned money on the new project.
7348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat Currency Will be Laughable in Five Years Says Billionaire Tim Draper on: November 10, 2017, 07:26:40 PM
No!, Fiat(or any better physically money) must never cease to exist. We must be careful the way we go about this journey. Having everything on the Internet without a backup plan is extremely dangerous & unnatural. Nature always provides alternative incase something bad happens. Where is our alternative?
7349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Game Of Thrones Happening With Bitcoin, Price Will Go Down More. Here's Why on: November 10, 2017, 05:05:52 PM
Hahs.. this sounds like a  propaganda. I doubt any those are the cause of the current price decrease. It was already predicted that Bitcoin price would go down and then go back up..some traders were probably aware.
7350  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain System Capable of Creating Fair Elections? on: November 10, 2017, 12:37:29 PM
Ok bro.  I thought voting would be anonymized like transactions on Bitcoin Blockchain are... i get you thought!
Someone suggested using Biometric ID for Blockchain Voting & I think it makes sense. I guess it would eliminate the need to reveal who you vote for( like the "I voted for Trump" signing example). Whoever you vote for will be linked to your biometrics id and kept anonymous.
7351  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain System Capable of Creating Fair Elections? on: November 10, 2017, 07:13:29 AM
Hey guys,

I'm really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and Blockchain system; but I'm curious about one thing. Is Blockchain capable of creating fair elections? If we can achieve that goal, that will be the biggest and most sensational  innovation of Bitcoin and Blockchain for the world and humanity! What do you think about it?

Current state of blockchain is very bad idea as a platform for fair elections. You see fundamentally blockchain works like this:
You make a transaction and whole world sees it and can confirm that this transaction took place and you can prove that you performed this transaction.

Now let's assume your transaction is a vote - looks fine, right? a fair votes that easy to count and above all it's immutable? However this fundamental propery makes it very easy to sell your vote i.e. you can easily prove that you have voted for certain party. For voting system a very different system have to be crafted - one that allows you to cast a vote (send the transaction) but in such a way that AFTER you sent the transaction nobody (even you) can prove where it was sent (so you can't prove you have voted for certain party) to elliminate any possibility to sell the vote. There is no blockchain that capable of doing so (even ZCash can't do it).

Hello bro, would you mind explaining the above (colored and bolded) post? I have read and re- read the comment, still can't understand the message you trying to pass across. Are you saying people aren't supposed to know the parties that others vote for?
7352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is this Coin the only Real Currency? on: November 09, 2017, 05:48:44 PM
It is called DIMND — It is an Ethereum Token.
Seems to be the only Cryptocurrency with Instrinstic value(currency backed by sth very valuable).

It's said to be backed by polished Diamond (my favorite part)... I don't know if there is/was any Cryptocurrency backed by commodities/precious metals?

DIMND pre-sale is currently ongoing.

According to the company, you can easily exchange your DIMNDS for real Diamond (which will be immediately shipped to your address) or other Cryptocurrencies.

The Diamond is stored in a Vault.

Am a bit curious how the company plans to deal with future price increase of DIMND in relation to the amount of Diamond in its possession.
Could the Coin create huge demand for Diamond and as a result lead to explosion in price of Diamond?

7353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Experiment on Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 01:18:14 PM
I would certainly get thesame result here.
Would partly blame bad publicity and people's lack of interest in researching for facts.
Most people on the planet are Conformists. They would follow what everyone else follows. Very few will research. Research takes a lot of time and effort.
7354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ATTENTION! Fake EtherDelta can stole your money! on: November 08, 2017, 05:55:05 PM
Great job for taking the time to write this brother . Hopefully more people will be informed and avoid falling for the lazy people.
Wish it were possible to Password- protect Private keys. The current method is way to easy to be abused.
7355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Tablet mining app, legit or not? on: November 08, 2017, 11:30:56 AM
Your friend is probably mining with the new Electroneum app? If yes, then I guess it is legit. What is unclear is whether it is profitable or not.
Heard the App is available on Google Playstore. You should try mining with it and tell us how legit and profitable it is?
7356  Other / Off-topic / Aging Breakthrough: Scientists Find Way to make Old Human Cells Young Again on: November 08, 2017, 09:44:57 AM
Research seems to point to the fact that Red wine, Dark chocolate, Blueberries, and Red grapes are really great anti-aging foods.

Key Points from Research:

Quote

➖Scientists have discovered a way to rejuvenate the human’s old cells known as senescent cells, in which they made them active or young again. They found in the treatment that the older cells started dividing and had longer telomeres, which are chromosomes caps that shorten as humans age.

➖In the study, the scientists discovered that splicing factors, which is a class of genes, could be switched back on by applying chemicals known as the resveratrol analogs. These chemicals are based on a substance that could be found in dark chocolate, red wine, blueberries, and red grapes. The chemicals triggered the splicing factors and within hours, the senescent cells became younger and started to behave younger and start dividing.

➖Meanwhile, Eva Latorre, a research associate at Exeter, said that when she saw some of the cells in the culture dish rejuvenating,   she could not believe it. She further said that the old cells became like young cells. She described it as like magic.

➖“I repeated the experiments several times and in each case, the cells rejuvenated. I am very excited by the implications and potential for this research.”

➖Harries explained that when you treat old cells with molecules that restore the levels of the splicing factors, the cells regain some features of youth. She further said that more research is needed to establish the true potential for these sort of approaches to address the degenerative effects of aging, as noted by UPI.

7357  Bitcoin / Project Development / ✴ Blockchain Cops and Lawyers on: November 07, 2017, 04:55:32 PM
This project is about creating some sort of Internet Policemen and Lawyers that can be hire for some fees. The project is inspired by a similar project on "Blockchain Lawyers" I read somewhere but i can't remember exactly where.

The main responsibility of the Blockchain Cops and Lawyers will be solving and Prosecution of Internet crimes such as, Cryptocurrency theft, Hacking, Impersonation, Identity fraud,  Pedophilia, Terrorism, Bullying, dangerous trolling, Blackmailing, wrongful withholding of user's funds by Websites ,  wrongful Users banning/suspension, DOS attack on websites, Users/Admins violation of sites TOS etc..  Governments seem to be helpless in these areas hence the need for this specialized services.

The services will exist on the Blockchain with its own currency. Funding will be sourced through ICO, from Donation or alternatively, run by volunteers.

Real cops and lawyers (or people who are knowledgeable/experienced) all over the World will offer their services on the Blockchain and gets paid.

Websites/Users who are successfully prosecuted will be banned from websites, reported to their countries law enforcement agencies,  compassate their victims or given a bad rating all over the internet.

This project will keep the Internet safe.

7359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone tried Bitcoin Abitrage on Zimbabwe Exchange? on: November 07, 2017, 12:09:27 PM
Have seen several articles on Zimbabwe's Bitcoin being more expensive than the rest of the world(worth $12,000) . wondering if someone has tried selling his/her Bitcoin on a Zimbabwean exchange for USD.
7360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 06, 2017, 06:58:00 PM
Funny post. When does holding Bitcoin becomes a bad thing?

Would swimming in swimming pool make you a fish? No, it wouln't, Swimming pools are meant to be swum in the first place.

Hope this whole journey doesn't turn ideological one day and produce loads of emotional cyber tyrants who rule and terrorise others for their choices.
