All I need to say here is India needs Dhoni as a captain if they dream of getting anything near to the finals. This game proves nothing, just two Indian players had their day while Bangladesh struggled to chase a large target. Bangladesh too played very well. But I feel both of these teams are lacking the vibe for this worldcup.
Dhoni as a Indian Captain? hmmm not possible, not even in a wildest dream. he already gave his captaincy for good. so everyone should make it peace with it. That's what cricket does, some players performs in the match ,some don't and don't forget Indian spinners and Bumrah's contribution. |

Honestly speaking I am not liking the pitch in UK. These pitches has nothing for the bowlers. If they keep doing everything for the batsmen then some day like someone said, we will not see fast bowlers instead we will see the bowling machine and the captain is selecting in the machine which ball will have which length and line.
That was me I was mocking the shitty pitches and used this bizarre example if 350-400 runs target becoming norm then everything is possible. and think what would happen if any team scoring 500 runs in ODI. finger cross if English batsmen come up against any weaker bowling side and every batsmen clicks on the same day then 500 target look easy very much possible target. |

WI managed to score 421 runs and lost all their wickets having 4 balls in hand. It's a massive score. This will be interesting to see the start of New Zealand innings.
The way pitch behaving I am not surprise if kiwis chase down this mammoth total. so far Windies batsmen dominated the game, hands down. now up to their bowlers. In the other match, India is in the driving seat now. So far they have scored 340 runs. They still have 9 balls remaining. Dhoni and Rahul was out standing. Both got their century.
I didn't expected 350+ runs on board after the slow start but Indian middle order - KL Rahul and Dhoni- stepped out and played beautifully. pitch is flat but Indian bowlers can defend this target. would like to see good chase from Bangladeshi batsmen tho. |

In the other game, India recovered the initial damaged. Dhoni is Dhoni and KL Rahul is playing extra ordinary innings. He is proving that he is a fit for 4th position in batting order.
Russell and Holder both out, but they can reach 400 easily. only need 17 runs and 4 over left. Russell did play nice cameo in 20-20 style. Rahul is out as well, he did his job in this match. his 100 can create headache for Team management. my first preference still Vijay Shankar if he's 100% fit. Rahul can open the Inning if needed. |

It's a 50/50 match. Both team are playing good cricket. Watching the match it's hard to say who are the stronger side. I was expecting better from India. Score 139/4 after 28 overs.
Indian top order failed again in this match with rare failure of Virat, he don't usually throw his wicket after good start. Shankar failed as well, Bangladeshi bowlers deserve credit here despite some poor captaincy ( not keeping extra slip in start) they managed to get quick wickets and put pressure on Indian top order. Surprisingly Rahul playing good lol and now India surely looking at 300 runs mark. So far unexpected performance from WI. 253/4 after 33.3 over. Hope at 99 runs. The WI team looks better although in pen and papers New Zealand is the better team.
Let's see how these two match progress.
If Andre Russell can continue his IPL form here in this match then they can touch 400 runs. as of now they are looking strong, 39 overs and 294/6. still 11 overs to go. |

Bangladesh made some mistake - seaming condition- and only 1 slip  Windies vs NZ
Kiwis won the toss and they are bowling. Chris Gayle was looking good but he was trying to hit every ball out of the ground, result he got out despite good start. Lewis looking good and Shai hope playing aggressively. Windies score as of now 96/1 after 11 overs

Bangladesh is not even a threat. IMO, there are only four teams capable of defeating India in CWC 2019. They are Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa. Bangladesh still has a long way to go.
Don't take it so much easy. Back in 2007, the Indian team was not so weak, Bangladesh was pretty weak than the current team. Can you remember the day? Don't think that India is better team means Bangladesh can't defeat them. Bangladesh now is no less than a big team, I admit chances are low, but not impossible. Remember. LOL... that was the reason why the ICC reduced the number of participants from 16 to 10. India lost to Bangladesh, failed to qualify for the quarter-finals, and in the end the TV broadcasters suffered huge losses. But times have changed a lot. Now India is among the top 3 sides, while Bangladesh is miles behind. 2007 seems like a very distant memory. I am saying as well that it is not 2007 In 2007, we didn't have No 1 all rounder (he was fairly new that time), we didn't have captain like Mashrafee and a batting line up like current one. We will miss Ashraful, but India will also miss Sachin, Sehwag. Don't take it so easy. I have to admit that India is better than us, but that doesn't mean we can't win. We can, and we have proved that. Dada, I agree people (only fans) takes Bangladesh team very lightly, but it's not the case for any opposition team. Every team is aware of how hard Bangladesh play and try when it comes to Cricket. I, for one, will not be going to take them lightly when playing against India or other teams. They may lose the game, but without a fight? I doubt it. They are very much capable of upsetting any team in their day. However, I feel that they seem to lose every crunch moment, it's sad, but it looks funny when they repeatedly do this. They need to do something about that if they want to stand out in this World Cup edition. Indian team and Indian fans don't miss Sachin and Sehwag any more because Indian top 3 batsmen are arguably best in business when it comes to ODI and If top 3 performs then 99% chances are India going to win matches because Rohit and Kohli never gets out quickly after scoring 100, they make big 100s and if Sikhar gets going then watch out its very dangerous combination.
About the Last match between India vs New Zealand I saw many fans saying that Indian batsmen performed very poorly which is 100% true, but everyone failed to see or avoid to mention that it was seaming-dark green wicket with the cloud over the head during the first inning — best condition for bowlers to bawl. Indian Captain Virat intentionally chose to bat first so that Indian batting can come under the microscope, and in this test, they failed miserably without any doubt. ( here I see Intent and awareness from Virat Kohli. which is a perfect sign for Indian Team) And if seaming condition comes into play in the World cup, then every team going to struggle like that, not just India. Winning the toss is very important if it happens. And everybody knows, the Indian Bowling attack is no dummy as it used to be in the past. |

On the other hand Bangladesh is not an easy team. They are way more stronger than Afghanistan. They are not gonna break so easily. Even if India wins the match I think they will have to earn it in the hard way.
Agreed, I personally don't like some Bangladeshi players due to their behaviour but as a team, they are not a dummy. No one can afford to take Bengal tigers lightly in the cricket field, they may be a not big team in the cricketing world, but they are fighters and don't give up quickly which I admire. |
