England always play good cricket but history is not with them. They will lose.

100% agree, but this team is very different in comparison to the old English squad. I would say arguably the dominant team in English history, But if England comes against India in semis or final then yes they will repeat the history Cheesy. I am biased here for obvious reasons hehehe.

Place in top 4? I never considered then in this WC to pass the group stage.

Edit: WI lost another wicket.

I believe the same but still 5 more game to go for them. so my options are open for 4th team (semis)

Quote
So here are my three team:
Australia
India
New Zealand.

For world cup winner, my list still same, not tweaking anything yet.

1. England
2. India
3. Australia

Because only these teams can play good cricket in all 100 overs (same match) on their good day. Other than those teams, no one comes close IMHO

Kiwis are playing good cricket, but I have my doubts in this regards, they have a habit of choking similar to South Africa when competing in big matches.

Russel catch dropped by Woakes and Russel hit 2 sixes after that. All drama happening in the match.
If Russel stay next 5-7 overs West Indies will make around 300 and match will be competitive.
Well he is gone. He could not capitalized the chance he had. Poor Russell. He needs to understand that this is not T20. There are plenty of overs left to hit the ball like crazy. May be he needs some coaching from Dhoni.

Once again their batting line up proving that 20-20 mind set is not good strategy for 50-50 world cup. it can work in 1-2 games but for longer run, its deadly choice. Windies need to changed their strategy for upcoming matches if they really want to secure their place in top 4 teams.

They can still reach 270+ score but for this they need to play decent cricket or at least stay on the crease. still 11-12 overs left in first inning.

7366  Local / India / Re: Help translate bitcoin.org into Hindi on: June 14, 2019, 10:41:52 AM

And I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone by only mentioning Hindi to be translated.

You don't need to apologize to anyone bro, and I am sure no one in the right mind would be offended here, all users just offering their point of views and they are entitled to their opinions — right or wrong its another debate.

As long as they are respectful and not attacking other users. Everything is good.

You are doing good work, keep doing that — best of luck.

 Now WI needs a partnership.

Gayle looking very dangerous today, I opted for English team with comfy win as well but now I am having second thoughts because Jason Roy pulled his hamstring, this could be disastrous for England if he's serious.

.

Hopefully we will see a wicket soon LOL

Yippie Cheesy Gayle gone hehehe

V8 this Cricket world cup edition is turning out to be a big mess due to English weather  Cry Cry 3 matches already abandoned due to rain and its keep getting worse as tournament proceeds.
Well that's just ... not cricket. One mid-summer we had floods, including my house, which was half-way up a hill.

sorry for house.

and we are waiting for monsoon here.
7370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 13, 2019, 10:47:31 AM

I've gone with New Zealand today

Both teams, along with ICC, ECB, and fans, are a loser in this game. English weather is the winner here, and this tournament will turn into cricket competition from swimming competition soon Cheesy

So none of you guys thinking about any upset in today's match?  Grin Grin
By the way, the only upset I see is - The Rain :-(

Same feelings Sad

Can someone explain to me that why the hell did Sarfaraz take the run and give the strike to Afridi, the 11th man? Simply horrible. Sarfaraz seems to have absolutely no confidence in his batting skills. I've never seen any captain making such a stupid mistake. Roll Eyes

For starters

1. Gave up!! and saving his ass tbh.
2. He wasn't middling the bat throughout his inning.
3. Lack of match awareness during the Chase with tailenders. (very important)
4. In the end, blaming bowlers that they gave too many runs. ( shitty statement)

In recent time 300 target is not a very big target. Pakistan bowled exceptionally well during the death overs, thanks to a magical spell from Amir. Minus his spell, then Pakistan would be chasing the 350+ score, and more importantly, Pakistan needs to get their shit together when chasing the target, it's not the first time.

He didn't even address about team's Fielding at all. How are bowlers supposed to make pressure on the opposition when everyone leaking easy runs and dropping easy catches?
7375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 12, 2019, 03:23:35 PM

Edit- Australia 307 all out, great copme back by Pakistan, well done Amir.
Who would have thought Pakistan was going to restrict Australia for 307 runs? At some stage it was looking like they were going to easily score 300+ runs. Good for Pakistan. If they really need to chase this run then they need good partnership from their top orders or Australia is going to win this match.

I see now that comfortable win for Australia pickers has much chance to get 2 points :-P

Oz are good 30-40 runs short here Cheesy 307 runs is not daunting target in modern cricket. if Pakistan bats sensibly, they can upset the Oz today. Amir brought them back in the game IMHO.

Oz need quick wickets asap if they want to stay in the game or win end of the day or wait for unpredictable team to perform according to their reputation Cheesy

Edit- kane Richardson, Did I miss him in the last match?

He didn't played the last match, many expert were criticizing them due to his exclusion in playing XI
7378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 12, 2019, 12:54:49 PM
Amir is ineradicable. Only 25 run is given from 9 overs and the economy rate is 2.78, taken 3 wickets <3
The total seems to be not more than 350 which I thought easier for a while.

In short Oz batsmen messed it up :p

Big show - maxy is there now. If he plays 30-40 balls more from here then Pakistan's fans can pray for rain. Otherwise get ready to chase 370+ score.
Max out! It was a perfect delivery from Afridi. After long time I have seen a stamp pulled off the ground :-P

No more comments from my side. I am commenting and wickets falling 😂😂😂😂
