There are one thousand, one hundred and seventy-three pages of members with the "website"

Code:
MMM Global

in their profile...

((1,172 X 30) + 22 = 35,182 ) Thirty-Two thousand, one hundred and eighty-two members all with the same "Web Site" in their profile page's listing.

We have just ticked over profile number https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=912093

Code:
Name: nensalmendela
Posts: 0
Activity: 0
Position: Newbie
Date Registered: Today at 15:09:30
Last Active: Today at 15:09:30

That's 3.85% of *all* users of BitCoin Talk have MMM Global in their profile.

What was the collateral?
7365  Economy / Reputation / Re: what happened with xetsr? on: October 24, 2016, 04:44:49 AM
Allredy passed two months without any activity from xetsr side.
I'm starting to consider it appropriate to move topic to scam section...

Honestly I'm sure there's a legitimate reason (health or otherwise) but I'd have to agree, it's time to move this to the scam accusation thread. At the very least it will get you some more exposure and maybe he'll hear about it somehow to come pay you back or explain himself.

Agreed.  Time to escalate - two months is definitely time enough for the benefit of the doubt to be given and a person to at the very least look in and say "Hey there!" and give an explanation as to why they are away.

I would like to think xetsr has a reasonable explanation, however, zazarb needs to be repaid.

Starts the same, ends the same. It's just the width that makes them look totally different, yet both PGP and Kleopatra both say they are the same key.  You have to look very closely to see they are the same text, just word wrapped differently.

Has anyone else encountered this?

7368  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool on: October 22, 2016, 09:57:08 AM
how to calculate it ?  the last number   6+4=7?  not 6+4=a?
No one helping?

Might have something to do with the fact we have lives and don't monitor ever thread all day.

Did you try multiplying the two values together?
7369  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated - lift your game people! on: October 22, 2016, 09:55:31 AM
Since the OP has not been updated for the last 7 months, wouldn't it be advisable to start a new thread? While multiple threads on the same topic are not ideal, a summary of the reports made so far would definitely be helpful.
That would only make sense if someone actually reviewed all the reports. The thread was suppose to be a sticky but was removed later due to lack of strong connections between the accounts posted by members. They maybe correct but since accounts are sold you can never be sure if the connected person still holds that account.

That is true. We could have a disclaimer which states that ownership might have changed after these addresses have been posted. But people continue to post links of shared address in this thread. If somebody else is ready to invest his time in maintaining a summary of the linked accounts posted, what is the harm in that?
There is no harm in that. Why don't you take the initiative and start adding up all the posted accounts ? Also, the table breaks after a particular number of entries have updated. You might as well want to reverse 4-5 comments if the table can't take anymore entries. You could check the first page of this thread.I don't mind helping you out if you can take responsibility of maintain it here after.

I would like to make a modified suggestion, the OP has links to a weekly / monthly break down contained in the thread?

You could have a serial pest post, or some other categories, not just "October 2016", "Nov 2016", Dec 2016" etc.

Also, by red flagging the UID's they become increasingly unsaleable as opposed to just listing the offending UID's here.

Supposedly the table is done externally and is called from the forum from another site - if I understand it correctly.  Plus what's to say the next person to start a thread doesn't just up and go MIA also?

Dude really? Your translator broken?

Taking something from another is theft including designs/images, etc.  In what world do you live in where its ok to just take someone else's shit? Cuz I'll move right next door.  Cheesy

I'm gonna sit and make something then have someone click copy paste without even an acknowledgement fuck you

A quick check of QuickSeller's latest posts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=358020;sa=showPosts http://archive.is/UZv6a shows they are only posting a bare one or two posts per fortnight to limp towards "Legendary" status, they are at 1,006 posts (the max required to atain "Legendary" is 1,008 - coincidence?)

As a previous poster has noticed, Lutpin has taken an image from a TV series and used it as their profile image (while my profile picture isn't actually from a TV series, or promotional material) - so by your strict definition, has Lutpin stolen?  Just showing how somethings can be grey.

Will a new version of the wallet be released for Mac as well?  Smiley

Yep - looks like it!

UPDATE on the New Client:

  • We will be providing pre-compiled versions for Win32, Win64 and OSX at a minimum.
  • The Android version will also be availble shortly after the new Core release to take advantage of the new blockchain features.

Why the actual fuck not? Literally here it is him scamming me out of money. All the proof.

The management and staff of this Forum have chosen not to ban anyone in a very long time, *IF* my understanding of the way this forum is being run is correct.

You'll have to join the rest of us who've been burned by scammers and track them down, one scam at a time.

Here we go. Could we get an administrator to have a look at the IP address of this user? He's probably smart enough to not use his own but we'll see.

He's looking to sell bulk orders of full member accounts.

Edit: he has deleted all his previous posts. Maybe it's a hacked account?

There's seven pages of posts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=299272;sa=showPosts how do you figure they were deleted?

While I agree that Girlbtc.com has copied your work, this would be better suited to be put into the Reputation thread, not the scam, unless you are making the allegation that GirlBTC.com is scamming users?

I can't recall off the top of my head where I've seen it recently, but other UID's have used other UID's works as templates for their own and attributed the original work which GirlBTC.com hasn't done.

Because you are on the DT, your red flag has been copy-catted by others, which I guess you are ok with / what you set out to achieve - copying of your work.

As with any "scam accusation", the obvious question is "Did you contact this person first?"  Are there any screen shots / text of these conversations?  Did GirlBTC.com make an admission of copying your work?

When you say intellectual property, how did you create your own work?

If you review this trust wall https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=663403 you will see both myself and -Oxygen u=877812 have left neutral trust on their trust wall for what can only truly be described as "PLAGIARISM" - I can do the same here - that is to say leave neutral trust for plagiarism, if you like?

Thanks for reading.

Another example of a zero activity user with General statistics suggesting otherwise:

So what is so special??
Go to the modlog, pick any user who has been nuked. All of them will have some details on the General Statistics page.
This section probably doesn't get updated when users' posts are deleted.

What's the link?  I'll have a look.

In the meantime:
