7361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I present another moderately interested noob :) on: August 29, 2013, 10:34:07 AM
Welcome to the forums! However, "moderately interested" will not last long. Everything will involve Bitcoin in your life soon.
Haha, I have no doubt, I am battling enough as it is, to try and "compress" forum reading time to about 2 hours a day Wink

A little tip is to skim through topics and absorb as much as you can!

I can't enter the new site: when i enter a nickname, the button to proceed doesn't do anything on my iPad.
7363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Isn't deflation a bad thing? on: August 29, 2013, 09:37:53 AM

If $0.01 USD is enough to buy a Ferrari, then you will have trouble buying a stick of chewing gum for example.

Bitcoin on the other hand is divisible to a very low number, so you can buy the stick of chewing gum for 0.00000001 easily.

7365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Make $5000 with only 1 PC. New Generation of mining software full of features. on: August 29, 2013, 09:35:50 AM
not sure if troll or scam?

Probably both. $5000 a day with 1 PC, no work required bla blah blah is obviously fake.
7366  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: August 29, 2013, 09:34:05 AM
Well, if you are trying to find a Bitcoin casino, I suggest you search for threads in the forum's Gambling section. There are many creative ideas, such as dice and circle games. I would have to disagree if somebody told me BTC casinos are hard to find. They're everywhere. You just have to look Wink

Leave it on overnight - that did the trick for me.

7370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: blockchain.info send shared stole my btc? (Piuk) on: August 29, 2013, 09:31:31 AM
Having the same issue since a couple days and now I have 5 BTC stuck in there. I'm still waiting on a reply from piuk or their customer service. I would advise others not to attempt using blockchain.info's Shared Send service.

It provavly would be better to start a new thread, this one is quite old. I've had some problems with blockchain 2fa emails, i think their system is glitching up. I also heard some people had trouble with google auth, and sharedsend too.
7371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I buy Video Games with my Bitcoins what about you? on: August 29, 2013, 09:28:33 AM

7372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Android Wallet app can't access my bitcoins on: August 29, 2013, 09:28:15 AM
If it's any help to anyone else.  I 'fixed' this by uninstalling the Android bitcoin wallet, then reinstalled it, and then imported my backup wallet.  Once it synced back up fully I was able to 'spend' my coins again.  I don't know how/why it got into that 'stuck' state.

However, I would still like to know how you could import the encrypted android wallet into *another* wallet application.  Maybe that's not possible, but it would be a nice feature to have.

Thanks,

John

If you get the private keys, you should be able to import them to any wallet (some need different wallet formatting than others though)

Every game/item in my inventory is for sale (once I get my computer working again)
7374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whose post carry weight? on: August 29, 2013, 09:24:57 AM
If you want to know where the market is headed, you should only listen to rpietila and jaroslav. They are bitcoin super-mega-nodes who have billions of USD invested into BTC apparently.

Hi new guy, it's great to have you here. Put some examples of your 'glitch art'!

Hey newbie, welcome to the forum.
7377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apples4bitcoins, fake or real? on: August 29, 2013, 09:22:49 AM
I believe it is a fake site. It's very easy for a scammer to put up a  1 page website on the hidden wiki and ask people to send bitcoins.
7378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you stay anonymous with Bitcoin on: August 29, 2013, 09:20:29 AM
Bitcoin is more pseudonymous than anonymous i believe, due to the blockchain
7379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP!!! LOST MY BLOCKCHAIN.info WALLET IDENTIFIER....Are my coins lost forever? on: August 29, 2013, 09:20:02 AM
I did not register with my email

THis is your fault, and you should be more careful next time. It is probably unlikely that bc.info support can help you recover your wallet.
7380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any experience with Suzuki Dice? on: August 29, 2013, 09:18:46 AM
If you can receive coins from the same address you sent from, your wallet is compatible. Contact suzuki dice support.
