7362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum app released on 1st november on: November 01, 2017, 10:47:21 AM
Yes, the electroneum ICO ended before the scheduled date for it once it hit the $40million hard cap as devs promised. That alone shows integrity. I can't wait to have the mining app activated on my phone. Electroneum is no doubt one of the hottest ICOs in 2017. I sincerely hope the hype around it doesn't fade off before it blossoms to reach the target the devs set for it.
7363  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 01, 2017, 09:41:58 AM
Yes or No?    Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters?
It is called pioneers advantage. But I wouldn't say early adopters have undue advantage over other holders now keying into the Bitcoin. They took the real risk because Bitcoin wasn't attractive back then and there was no fancifu structure of reference for it.  Those of us now keying in aren't taking risk per se because Bitcoin is already popular and enjoys huge patronage. We are just profit conscious.

The same scenario will play itself out in a few years from now with these new altcoins springing up here and there which most people now call scam or shitcoins just like Bitcoin was tagged. Only time will tell.
7364  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: November 01, 2017, 08:28:09 AM
The impact of Bitcoin on any nation is an expected enonomy boost so enormous that it can not really be quantified financially. An involvement in bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general now enables many a young people to control a certain unimaginable level of wealth. This helps to increase the GDP of any nation whose citizens are allowed to hold or trade in bitcoin) cryptocurrency. It is as good as that.
7365  Economy / Economics / Re: Nova exchange shutting down on: November 01, 2017, 05:38:49 AM
OP, there is an ongoing thread on this which was started by user pornluver yesterday here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2335486.msg23796877#msg23796877

You may want to close this though to avoid redundancy and duplication of thread.
7366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees make me angry on: November 01, 2017, 04:31:02 AM
The fee's are more favorable to bigger amounts, it's very annoying making smaller transactions.
I have noticed this too for bigger payments. However, ordinarily one would've thought that the recent fork would've ameliorated this issue of high transaction fee charge as well as the backlog of transactions on blockchain. What is the essence of continuous and replicate forks of minute issues like this aren't taken care of. It's now quite discouraging sending small amount of btc across.
7367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is the Year for Bitcoins.... on: November 01, 2017, 03:34:04 AM
It is of course, considering how tremendously well it has soared in the past few months. Bitcoi has already done over 500℅ in price increment since January this year. It hasn't seen this kind of frog jump in years. The awareness and spread has been awesome. I believe it will do more in 2018.
7368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 03:04:56 AM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.
Lol...Go ask China this and see what answer you get. This won't happen except there is a global ban on Bitcoin. Humans aren't homogeneous in thinking and won't feel and act the same way at the same time.
7369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who hate altcoins ;) mostly eth on: October 31, 2017, 03:20:26 PM
i hate eth and all other coins

my one love is only BTC

what about you?

p.s.

reason :- ETH can give effect if future

newly added : except monero, doge and most of old coins
I do hate ethereum too! The less than 0.1eth I have was because it was a compulsory requirement as part of enrollment for an airdrop I participated in this month. I had stayed out of Eth since I started with cryptocurrency almost a year now. I hate ethereum because it is easily hacked. Its wallets are susceptible to security breaches and this is no good for anyone holding or trading the eth coin.
7370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese will be allowed to trade Bitcoin again soon on: October 31, 2017, 02:00:55 PM
As some crypto experts such as Clif High, Bix Weir, Teeka Tiwari of The Palm Beach Confidential and many others have already predicted it is very possible that the Chinese can trade again with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in a short time as soon as the authorities regulate this market to avoid scams.

Info: https://cointelegraph.com/news/chinese-might-be-able-to-trade-bitcoin-again-soon

It seems quite clear that the Chinese government wants to harmonize not to lose its privileged position in the cryptocurrency market and at the same time regulate it.

If this forecast is confirmed soon, it could mean a strong boost for Bitcoin and even more for other cryptocurrencies such as Neo or OmiseGo.

Do you think that this will happen as soon as it is predicted or will we still have to wait a few more months? Or do you think that this will never happen or at least not so easy?
OP, to tell you the truth, I don't think the crypto world cares anymore for China and what she thinks. Cryptocurrency has been able to survive the backlash it got from the Chinese ban and has since moved on. Honestly, I don't give a hoot if China re-embraces cryptocurrency or not. In fact, to hell with China!
7371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 Bitcoins for a Pizza - The most famous story in Bitcoin history on: October 31, 2017, 07:56:47 AM

I bet he is still computing for the BTC he exchanged for pizza up to these day.
At the current price of 6000 dollars and multiplied it by 10k dollars, you can have a yacht, a real state, a resort or a shopping mall that can give you some real positive cash flow and meanwhile the pizza he intake and outtake is just a bacteria nowadays. This is one of the biggest regrets in history and one of the best lesson in holding BTC.
You can say that again about the calculation and the pizza eater forever living in regrets till he dies. He truly deserves a place in the Guinness World Book of Records. Not just for exchanging his 10,000 units of mined bitcoins for a mere pizza like the biblical Esau but for being the first person to have carried out a widely recorded bitcoin transaction. He truly deserves a place in history, whether good or bad.
7372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Will You Do If You Are Trap On A SHIT Coin ? Or Low Volume Coin on: October 31, 2017, 04:48:59 AM
Huh Huh This Past Day I was Trap At SW Coin or Sky Way Coin is there any possibilities of holding it ?
Shit happens. And whenever it happens we should find a way not to make it stink uncontrollably. If one mistakenly buys into a shitcoin, there are two things to do. It is either you keep or sell off at a lose. For instance I have been holding shitty doges for some months now and I find it more worthless selling them off because they are already worth less. I am keeping and hoping something sets the doges on bull some day, just a wishful thought anyway.
7373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Good Solution Of Too Much Greed In Trading ? on: October 31, 2017, 04:12:00 AM
I Am New At Trading Some Of My Trades Actually fail because of too much Greed is there anyway how to determine how to stop ? and avoid this Greed Emotion Sad  Huh Huh
I will tell you how I tackle such situation. Try trading few coins. That way you will concentrate on your judgement in picking your pairs and not over trade. Trade a few coins and you will have enough time picking out the good and profitable coins from the dumps. I trade just few pairs and it's working out pretty for me. That way I don't have much failing trades.
7374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nova is closing? on: October 31, 2017, 03:46:01 AM
This is just a way to downplay the entire situation and that is what is called damage control nobody is coming to take over the site with the outline of dates I read there, its obvious they are going for good and there is nothing to be done about it. Changing ownership is not enough to do all of those things listed there when businesses changes owners the only thing the customers needs to be aware of is the change in the structure and a commitment that their fund is safe with promise of more quality service not anything close to this. Its a complete shut down
Exactly! You are perfect in your submission on this. Off course it means they are going for good and not necessarily a change of ownership. But why they allowed me open a new account two days ago baffles me since they already knew they were closing shop. Anyway, it is better late than never provided all users are able to get their coins out.
7375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when the market is full of red on: October 30, 2017, 10:06:34 PM
I often lose my temper when altcoins drop sharply.
And in general, I sell altscoin at the bottom
This really is a pitiable thing to do but most of us here have been through that route before. It shows we trade emotionally when that happens. And that is a loser trading. Professional traders trade on technicals and fundamentals, not emotion. So, get a grip on your emotion and that dip trading will quickly turn tip trading.

Always set your targets even before entering a trade. Go do some other stuff once in a trade to avoid always looking at your portfolio and panicking once it turns red.
7376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: novaexchange is going to close on: October 30, 2017, 06:30:53 PM
How will that be? I just registered with them yesterday.
7377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering(How to choose best ICO?) on: October 30, 2017, 05:43:55 PM
I normally check social media and news to see if theres mention of the ICO somewhere. Also see who are the investors and what background they have. Read the whitepaper to check if its something breakthrough. A lot of scam ICO's are on the run. Its looks very tempting to invest in those but it looks to good to be true.

You are tight about all in what to check except going through social media and news to ascertain perhaps scams. I tell you, sometimes we miss the point listening to social media. For instance, a lot of people branded (brand) ethconnect a scam because of the discrepancy which exists with the team but over a hundred thousand people are already registered on its site. It shows that not everytime that negative publicity works negatively.
7378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: October 30, 2017, 05:07:33 PM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

Two things, supply and demand, give a commodity its price and value. That is what is happening with Bitcoin. It will even get more expensive with time as the awareness for its usage increases. Remember that Bitcoin total supply is just 21million which really isn't much. Also, any coin that has increased usage and little supply will always have increased price.
7379  Other / Meta / Re: Number of activities on: October 30, 2017, 03:22:28 PM
I am just curious and bothered to my number of activities, I've been idle here in the forum because of being busy as a college student, and I am not able to post recently, but I assumed that my activities will be updated since I have my number of posts bigger than it. But the refresh/update of activities passed by, and my +14 activities was not added. What should i do?
Yes, you are right about the 14 activities being updated every two weeks as long as you have enough posts made from which the 14 will be taken. But the catch to it for dormant accounts is that you MUST make at least two posts within two weeks to merit the 14activities. If you don't make any post at all within two weeks no activity would be picked from the excess you have. I hope this explains it better to you.
7380  Local / Débutants / Re: HELP HELP PLEASE !! on: October 30, 2017, 12:05:15 PM
OP, you are not alone in this mess. Since last week, blockchain has been stupidly slow in confirming transactions. Some transactions have even lingered for 4-5 days. You should try accelerating it through viabtc.com

The solution soaked in the solution helps to eliminate 99% of the noise of the excavator and 30% of the temperature. It also allows the transfer of heat to the outside thanks to the regular aquarium pump.
"The difficulty of digging the coin is that the temperature and noise generated are too great, so the diggers can not be located at home or in a residential area." A digging machine can generate levels of up to 70-80 degrees C. The possibility of fire, electric shock is what most people digging coin is worried "
Are you fucking stupid or plainly on cheap drugs? You opened two accounts and are running this forum with your spam posts like it is an achievement of some sort? Dude, you should caution yourself or get banned.
