7381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: September 29, 2018, 03:54:26 AM
~snip~
What is the determining factor for you to sell or buy coins?
~snip~

Value, usability, potential, and popularity are the minimum factors that I always analyze before deciding to sell or buy a coin. I think those factors really crucial and important for the coin itself and the holders.

~snip~
How many of you are trading short-term?

Actually I prefer to trade for short term but it seems hard for now. I just plan for long term now. If there is a change in market trends, maybe I want to try for short term. Still, I am sure many people working as short-term traders since another person has another strategy in trading. The others maybe can do short-term trading very well.
7382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think happened with Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 29, 2018, 02:50:10 AM
He knows it is the only way to preserve the existence of bitcoin. I believe that it wasn't planned by him from the beginning. I guess, in 2010, he realized a big risk if he continued his activities in the forum. However, I think the way is very genius, he leaves the forum but not the system. Yes, he only leaves the name (Satoshi), and it is possible for him to change the identity to the other name in a forum or here. (It is only my own speculation)
7383  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: bitcoin asia ? on: September 28, 2018, 11:13:54 AM

7384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: September 28, 2018, 10:44:45 AM
~snip~
I think you should see the potential of the coins that you hold, if your coin has good potential in the future, then I strongly recommend holding it. Don't be a panicked coin holder.

I agree with you. That's what I always state in every discussion about "hold or trade coins during bear market". The first thing is "know the potential of every token or coin you have". To sell less valuable coins/tokens is no problem, that is the wise strategy, we all know that not all coins/tokens are potential and can survive till bull market. But to sell potential and valuable coins/tokens is really a wrong choice, it can increase significant on upcoming bull market. So, just be patient a little longer. I believe you will get big profits later on.
7385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Asia is the best place to trade/invest with crypto on: September 28, 2018, 10:09:46 AM
Asia now has a huge potential for the development of the crypto-currency business.
It is better to begin with Indonesia, but then legally enter the market of Asia and Europe

For sure, Asia is potential place for trading or investing with crypto. Some countries in Asia are very friendly for crypto improvement. For the example, you can see Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, India, and Indonesia. Many people from those countries are working on crypto as investors or traders even there is no statistical data showing the number of them. At least, we can see from the number of bounty hunters, investors in ICO, and team or developer of ICOs. The point is "don't count China only for this case".
7386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN USAGE EXPERIMENT on: September 27, 2018, 11:59:19 PM
What if bitcoin is actually owned by the US Government, and the name Satoshi is just used to front the currency to make it anonymous, maybe its an underground project to study people's reaction to money or to help them make money in a short while?

Before you stated the speculation above, you should think about some questions firstly:
~Why do you think the US Government (Not the other government)? You should have a specific reason to claim it. Do you find sufficient accurate evidence?
~What the big reason, you can say this is indicated as an underground project? Do you think it is necessary for government to study the people reaction about money?

You cannot state something without a strong reason. For this case, you only ask a statement without sufficient evidence. I think this discussion is only about a personal opinion and seems pointless. Sorry to say that..
7387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers for crypto on: September 27, 2018, 11:34:36 PM
~snip~And these reasons are very important to be ignored, it could be enough to kill crypto with governments. Don’t you think so? Or maybe you have another variants, let’s discuss this .

I agree if cryptocurrency can be killed by government, but it only happens if all governments in the world ban all activities ralated to cryptocurrency. However, it seem unlikely to happen because not all governments in the world ban it. Some countries have accepted crypto and utilized it for many purposes. So, it means the governments in some countries support the development of crypto and they are aware about the potential advantage of crypto.
7388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Late to Invest in Cryptocurrencies? on: September 27, 2018, 11:22:00 PM
If the golden age of cryptocurrency means "the bull market", so we just need to wait for the next period of it. I can say strongly that it is not too late if you plan to invest in cryptocurrency. Even right now is the bear market, I believe that there are still people who benefit from investment. You just need to know in what way they can get the benefits. Read and learn from many sources of how to run smart investment in this current market situation.
7389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think ICO is necessary? on: September 26, 2018, 10:27:16 PM
~snip~
Many coins advertise on large media, even without relying on the ICO, they use personal funds, and it's not difficult. So on what basis do you say "Without ICO, coins or projects will find it difficult to advertise their project." Huh

Yes, you are correct. ICO is not the only way to advertise a project, but maybe it is about the effectiveness. In my view, ICO is still the best way to advertise and to promote a project since ICO can involve many people who really understand about crypto. The promotion can be through some crypto forums including investors, traders, and crypto enthusiasts that potentially will join the project.
7390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any ways to predict the future price of bitcoin or altcoins? on: September 26, 2018, 12:17:02 PM
Is there any techniques or tricks to predict the future price

I say NO for prediction. However, prediction is less of accuracy and not to be a main / single reference. I never believe in prediction since it sometimes only depends on the individual view and lack of facts. The historical graph of crypto prices are used for our considerations.
7391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on: September 26, 2018, 11:37:22 AM
In my view, mining is not recommended to make money this year. I have a friend, he has worked as a miner since the beginning of 2017. He said "in previous, 2017, mining was a great way to make money. Many people tried to mine BTC, so they looked for VGA with a large amount. Finally, it was difficult to get VGA throughout 2017. But it was, currently to run mining spends too much money and get a little amount of money. So, he has decided to stop mining and sell all his mining equipment.

7393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 25, 2018, 02:26:46 PM
I check the coinmarketcap website more than four times a day. I need to know about the current price movement of some coins there. And also analyze the upcoming graph of price changes. Even it is difficult to predict accurately, we should know the potential coins that have big possibility to rise the rates.
7394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin unique or place higher than others coins? on: September 25, 2018, 02:16:25 PM
For sure it is caused by some reasons. I agree if in fact the price is higher than others. I think the points are:
~Bitcoin is the first crypto currency that is created by Satoshi.
~Bitcoin is hard to get in market. Many people hold it, and they plan it for long investment.
~Bitcoin is valuable and useful. It has used by platforms, companies, and charities for the payment instrument or fundraising.
~Bitcoin is categorized as a promising investment.
Those are my opinion about why bitcoin is called unique and have highest price.

and about full member above are you try to mocking me?? its ok for me, atleast you get 6 merit, while im not, i admit it.
~snip~

No. I don't try to mocking you. You should learn it carefully. It is for suggestion and delivering opinion, not for mocking anyone.

7396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Key points to remember before selecting any Altcoin or ICO investment. on: September 24, 2018, 04:04:23 AM
Yeah, that's true. We must consider those key points before deciding to join an ICO or to invest in Altcoins. But I think those points are only common considerations that investors did before they choose an ICO or Altcoins. There are some important things that investors should keep more attention.  (1.) The current issues about the ICO or Altcoins, (2.) For Altcoins: Learn the factors that make it potential to invest & analyze historical price of Altcoins, (3.) For ICO: Make sure that the team members are really real people and the product of the ICO will be useful lasting.
7397  Other / Meta / Re: Qulity post for getting merit on: September 24, 2018, 03:35:35 AM
I think the points of quality posts can be determined by:
~The content of your topic. Is it valuable, useful, informative, or unique (present something new).
~How you deliver it. You should make a posts that is easy to understand, interesting, and well-organized. It is the minimum criteria.
~Add illustration pictures. Pictures or images are also important to make a thread to be good looking and to clarify information

Remind that there is no instant way to get merit. You should work harder to get it. People will appreciate your work if it deserves.
7398  Other / Meta / Re: meta just like bountie on: September 24, 2018, 03:12:15 AM

--Come on guys--
Let's think wisely, we should consider some points before we blame the newbies.

~ How the newbies can get a merit if they don't try to make more posts
I am sure that they will improve their posts to have a better quality while trying to make more posts. You should know the meaning of "Newbie", Newbie is a beginner. So, if some their posts still have low quality, don't blame them. They are still learning to be smarter. They are in process to know every things. Don't force them to be smart instantly because it is impossible. Can you imagine like "elementary students are forced to master the learning materials of high school students". It is too much...

Except: If a full member above make a low post. It should be something wrong, why with long time in forum, he just creates a low quality thread. Has he never studied with many experiences?

~ Where they can get the merits if they don't post on a place like "Meta".
We all know that there is no special section for a newbie to post their topics. And no specific rules to get merits by creating topics.
Example: A newbie posts a topic on a special section for newbies. Then the topic will be evaluated by moderators, experts, or others. Then, if the topics are good quality and valuable, will get a merit. Unfortunately, we don't have it.

~Buying merit is only for some cases. Not all newbies can do that. It needs much money. We cannot claim it for all newbies.
7399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some principles of choosing ICO for investment on: September 23, 2018, 09:27:39 AM
The points you said above are just the common factors to be considered by investors. For me, simply the principle to choose an ICO is by analyzing the whitepaper and team information. Whitepaper provides all information about the products, plans, strategies, tokenization, and other parts related to a project. While team information is very crucial thing to know whether it determines: (1.) a real or fake project, (2.) a real or fake team members, (3.) professional team members or not, (4.) the nationality of the team members.
7400  Other / Meta / Re: One merited post>15 shit post on: September 23, 2018, 08:51:33 AM

Personally, I won't judge the bounty manager as the factor of shit posts. 15 posts is not too much if you do it regularly every day. You can count it, if the total 15 posts a week, you just need to post 3 times a day. 3 posts a day will be more than enough. Is It difficult for you? Totally, not difficult for me.
