7381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elixxir App will have Wallet Functionality on: May 23, 2019, 05:38:59 AM
If you've been following the Elixxir project led by David Chaum you've seen that they are building a privacy focused payments platforms with a built in messaging dapp. They just announced today along with their prelixxir test a wallet feature! I really like this addition and news esp in regards to privacy first solutions

https://elixxir.io/prelixxir

Seems like you're worthy of a merit so I gave you one, to meet my Merit Newbie Quota of the month.

Ever since I read about Chaum's work at UCSB in the 1980s I've been interested in learning more about him. Heard about Elixxir for the first time last fall. I hope something becomes of it because I'll always be rooting for the man. There's an awful lot of competition in the space though. Its gonna be hard for Elixxir to make a name for itself given all the other innovative solutions already in the space.

That's not news... jbreher activism just goes in streaks Or outbursts).. .especially if there is seeming to be pumpening, then jbreher seems to become even moar prolific,
 .blah blah blah. .
Much as I like civilized discussions with our picnic bear, what wordy man managed to convey in a reasonably-sized paragraph rings true.

Who is "wordy man"?

I don't know why but I was reminded of this. Its from Jon Stewart's "America (The Book)".

until autumn BTC will fall, and BSV will grow I think

Of course you do.
7383  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Appeal] bill gator on: May 23, 2019, 04:06:28 AM
After looking at the logs, I find it likely that this story is true, so it wasn't him personally who did the plagiarism. Trading accounts is strongly discouraged, but not against the rules. Therefore, the ban is removed.

And there you have it!

How do you feel about the idea of statutes of limitations on plagiarism cases? I think punishing somebody for a one-off offense done years ago (talking like 3 or more years ago) is a bit too stringent and the current plagiabot running around is a bit out of hand, leading to the banning of people for a mistake committed in 2014. Maybe the query or the rule should be tightened a bit. Just my opinion.
7384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 23, 2019, 03:50:44 AM
Urinal anarchists.

I literally LOL'd when I saw this. You get a real merit and +1 WO merit.
7385  Other / Meta / Re: @THEYMOS Abusive group punished DT1 for speaking up against them on: May 23, 2019, 03:46:44 AM
2 more DT1s have been banned for plagiarism in the last week, they never said peep about anybody:

- lovesmayfamilies
- WhiteManWhite

The bot seems to be pretty agnostic about who it comes after. So far, well over a thousand members have been banned. Hard to say its selectively targeting people. Its more like a wave of mass extinction.

Sure, but if you look at who is excluding them, funny there seems to be quite a bit of overlap with those excluding Bill Gator.

So you're saying Foxpup is directing the plagiabot? That's the only DT1 who is excluding all 3 members. If you want to call 2/3 "quite a bit," well that's your interpretation.

I think its more likely that DT1s who engaged in plagiarism are getting banned. Though I think there should be a statute of limitation on this offense, especially for productive members, and thus far the moderators have been inclined to agree somewhat by giving these members temp bans instead of permabans.
7386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 23, 2019, 03:02:35 AM
I had my pizza with deep-fried avocado - delicious.

Deep fried avocado?? That sounds delicious. How do they fry it without it falling apart?

I guess if you can deep fry ice cream you can deep fry anything.

One of my favorite seasonal beverages is the avocado shake. You wouldn't think avocado would go well with vanilla ice cream, but it does. Its kind of amazing.

1. nutildah was claiming in 2014 that all members selling their accounts are facilitating scammers and are evil. In 2016 he sold or tried to sell his account (knowingly facilitating scammers) Some say lauda bought that account and later announced it was no longer for sale. This is unknown. Either way recently Lauda who knows all about this nutildah debacle said there is nothing we can say that will cause him to red tag the nutildah account (who would want to tag their own alt) or such a loyal ass feltcher.

LOL! That's quite a story. It has everything: an epic struggle between good and evil, a love interest, deceit, intrigue, and good 'ol fashioned felching.

Hey CH I'll have you know my felching skills are second to none and I take your words as a compliment. Good to see the docs in the lunatarium granted you internet access again.

The one below us all...... IMO nutildah is one of the real awesome members, have had great talks with him, I couldn't say anything bad about thaaa dude!!!

Cheesy

Thanks mic same goes for you!

Really we should all try to be more like mic.

You could learn something about being sociable from him, CH. Or at least how to behave like a human.

Yes, I am a bit new here, but not new into the Bitcoin and trend's behind it, I saw most of the Bitcoin lovers and supporters here like me, so would like to ask them.

Should we believe, the US registration and move on with Craig Wright being the real Satoshi ? Or its just another fud which will go around in some days ? What can we do to stop this shit?

Did your old account get banned for plagiarism or what happened?
7391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: BulpCoin (malware in wallet, plagiarized white paper, no team) on: May 22, 2019, 02:14:41 PM
codablock#5742 (Core-DEV DASH in Discord) told me if I'm following the license, I can do whatever I want, I do not see a crime in this situation.
http://prntscr.com/nrvwgs

We're not accusing you as a crime so much as engaging in suspicious behavior, and your negative trust rating is meant to serve as a warning to those considering investing in your coin.

You actually didn't include the MIT license which Dash Core requires you to have in order to use their software (or documentation).

From: https://github.com/dashpay/docs/blob/0.14.0/LICENSE

Regardless, the fact that you had malware in your wallet means we're not going to change our minds about your rating. How do we know you won't revert it back to a malware-containing version of the wallet later? Ask your Dash dev friend how he feels about that issue. Sorry but your reputation here is pretty much shot.
7392  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: BulpCoin (malware in wallet, plagiarized white paper, no team) on: May 22, 2019, 12:24:38 PM
My project was cloned and consequently thread modified few things, it would be normal to have everything almost equal to DASh because I wanted it that way.

Did Dash have keylogging malware in their wallet client?

Besides, it doesn't matter if you "wanted it that way." Copying another project's documentation word-for-word and passing it off as your own is basically stealing.
7393  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary account banned on: May 22, 2019, 10:27:01 AM
Youch. Another DT bites the dust (at least temporarily).

This new plagiarism bot is too aggressive. It should go back 2 or 3 years at the very most. Busting somebody for a "crime" committed in 2015 seems too harsh. Somebody needs to dial it back a bit.
7394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin" is now a registered trademark in the UK on: May 22, 2019, 10:17:40 AM
Dr. Craig has now been issued a fully vetted certificate of copyright by US Government Copyright office.

This is a lie. This isn't the case at all! How did nobody catch that???

That "lie" will most likely be shown to the world at the CoinGeek Scaling Conference in Toronto, stay tuned.

Don't care. Coingeek has proven themselves to be incredibly dishonest over the last half year. Craig isn't going to show up there with his approved copyright -- its not happening. His registration was just accepted days ago. He'll have another half-assed smoke-and-mirrors show for the gullible and those who want to believe.

Hello Guys,

Please be advised that I am not a scammer. I do not appreciate being branded with such a name.

I do apologize for posting haphazardly on forums where I ought not to. As you may have seen, I was a newbie then. I have read the rules, now I know better.

You got caught promoting a ponzi scheme. That's a tagable offense.

I strongly advise that an investigation be carried out on a profile by accusers before it is branded. At least check if the user has been reported to have actually scammed a member.

K. Carried it out. I read the archived version of your thread. You were promoting a ponzi scheme.

I find it unfair that people can just be branded as SCAMMERS Huh with no proof tho. I mean, I have phone number, an email, a whatsapp group and a telegram group. Instead of branding innocent members with such names, why not investigate me? My two cents tho. Not just fair one bit.

Then just start over with a new account. Not like you have a well-established account or anything. And next time, don't promote ponzi schemes. I would also discourage you from plagiarizing the work of others.
7398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto - Evidence Here on: May 22, 2019, 08:43:39 AM
I am not a court to have access to peoples tax documents. Any court will accept Credit card payments and Australian Tax records as evidence.

Ok so you are taking a known pathological liar's word for it. That's your decision, but you can't expect everybody else to follow.

A copy ? BTC BSV are light yeas apart as you can see on the link.

They are more closely related than just about any other pair of coins. They share a tremendous amount of blockchain information, in addition to lines of code, properties and structure.

Credit card payments and tax records are court accepted proves , the later having the most weight.

Too bad Craig hasn't presented them to verify his claims.

7400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto - Evidence Here on: May 22, 2019, 08:23:06 AM
He paid for Bitcoin.org domain registration in 2009 with VISA and is on Australian Tax records.

Evidence, please. Show me a link. Show anything.

At the end of the day what matters is technology.

Exactly. And at the end of the day, BSV is just a copy of BTC, so why would anyone use it?
