7381  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: I did it!! bitchain LLC is born! on: February 18, 2017, 09:47:39 AM
I don't think it is the right section to post about your upcoming mining pool. Not at least now. You can use mining pool discussion for the same. Also I am just curious about your mining operations. Are you going to mine bitcoin only? or you will have altcoins as well?

7382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pros and Cons Of A Country Doing "Bitcoinization" on: February 18, 2017, 06:58:21 AM
I don't see any pros for a country doing bitcoinization, instead there are lots of cons. Firstly bitcoin is an international currency and miners are the god of bitcoin. Why a country would want to risk their economy to the handful of miners?

Secondly, bitcoin is available only till 2023. So a country can't develop with such a small future outlook. Instead they will have think for long term. So after 2023, they will have to adopt another coin to survive. So it is not at all a good idea for a country to adopt bitcoin as a national currency. Its economy will be in shambles.
7383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i make Bitcoin/money from a third world country on: February 18, 2017, 06:54:40 AM
Bitcoin doesn't have any boundary limit so it is not restricted to a third world country. There are some so called developed countries have imposed ban on bitcoin and not any third world countries have done that. So you can earn bitcoin from anywhere you want.

Firstly, you have to choose you ways of earning bitcoin. If you have a good amount of money to invest, then you probably want to set up a mining operation. But solo mining is not anymore profitable in bitcoin. If you want to solo mine, then try some altcoins. Otherwise, starts with trading. It is the best way to earn bitcoin nowadays with little investment.
7384  Economy / Economics / Re: Snapchat IPO being offered to the publlic right now! You think it will be succes on: February 18, 2017, 05:56:12 AM
I really don't feel a good vibe about snapchat ipo because it is not popular like facebook or twitter. Also the merchant banker valued snapchat at 22.2 billion USD which I feel is overvalued than its worth. Their valuation should not have reached 2-digits valuation while counting in billion. So I have a very bad feeling about those who will buy their ipo.

The share price is capped at $14-$16 which is higher than the expected. However, I will prefer to watch it for couple of months and then probably decide to buy or not to buy once the price stabilizes. IPO will not be a good idea for buying snapchat shares.
7385  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: February 18, 2017, 05:31:57 AM
If WW3 happens (The chance is good because Mr. Trump is the president of US) bitcoin price will not go down, instead it will go up manifold. because people will turn to bitcoin transaction as it will hide their identity. Gold and paper money will be riskier to stack as it can be found. So people will turn to internet transaction more.

However, if the internet system faces trouble, then the transactions will take ages to confirm and overall transaction time will increase a lot which can make people turn down bitcoin transaction offer and look for other options for transacting money. But I don't see any reason that bitcoin pricce will go down.
7386  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: February 17, 2017, 04:07:19 PM
I do not agree with the gloomy future of paper money which you wanted to tell. Paper money is the backbone of today's economy and accepted in every corner of the world. On the other hand, a majority of people didn't hear about bitcoin yet. Only a minor percentage of human population heard about bitcoin and even lesser number of people are using that. So I don't see bitcoin as a threat to the paper money in any way.

Paper money is so deeply rooted to the society, it is nearly impossible to uproot that also paper money is being supported by the government. So the future of paper money is still as shinning as ever. Bitcoin is not threat or it doesn't have the power to be a threat to the paper money.
7387  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 17, 2017, 03:07:55 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

Did you realize that now? True that crypto currency will create and run a parallel economy for us within few years and we have a very good chance to become rich just by accumulating more and more crypto currencies.

However, nowadays we have seen a lot of scammers in the crypto currency world who are trying to steal public money by various ways. Also the number of altcoins present in the market today, is not at all healthy for competition. Only a few altcoins are good but most others are useless and worthless. People should stop creating altcoins and focus on what we already have.
7388  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solar Mining on: February 17, 2017, 02:57:55 PM
Ha ha ha! TO power up a profitable bitcoin mining setup using alternate energy, you need a decent amount of space to install that many solar panels. Initially the cost of installing will be high, but that's an one time cost. Once you are done, you will be able to make profit because you won't have to pay electricity cost.

Howevee, wind turbine is not a feasible idea because you need to invest a lot more than solar panels and also you will need a big place to install one. If you have a farm house with fair amount of land, then it might be a good idea, otherwise scrap it and try altcoin mining.
7389  Economy / Economics / Re: Gradual Investment opportunities in bitcoin world on: February 17, 2017, 01:04:09 PM
I am not sure, how long you have been earning online, but I guess, it's not for long. Otherwise you wouldn't have asked for such investment. It is called ponzi scheme and they will just run away with your money after some days and you will loose most of your investment. Internet investment is not at all a safe investment because, you can't catch anyone if they run away with your money.

So it is always better not to invest in ponzis. However, you must try trading in exchanges as it is the most genuine way to earn bitcoin. Remember, unless you work hard, you won't be able to earn anything. This is true for real world as well as online world. So try for trading and nothing else. Trust me, it is worth all the effort.
7390  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is no longer a currency on: February 17, 2017, 01:00:08 PM
The article is not technically incorrect and we can certainly say bitcoin as a tech stock which gives us a very good investment opportunity even in the global economic slowdown. Bitcoin is first of its kind currency which can be generated from a computer program. So bitcoin doesn't have any inherited value. The value it has, it is based on public trust only.

Since people are investing heavily in bitcoin, it is getting so much attention and the market cap is increasing like rocket keeping the price also higher than any other currency. So I personally prefer to invest in bitcoin than to spend it for silly reasons. So it can be taken as an investment instead of currency.
7391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever become fast enough to function as a single world currency? on: February 17, 2017, 12:47:19 PM
Bitcoin is already functioning as a single world currency from last couple of years now and the price of bitcoin is skyrocketing every single quarter. However, the acceptance is a problem as of now and many government has not yet accepted bitcoin as a legal currency. However, that doesn't hamper the growth of bitcoin in any way. Rather it has become the most valuable internet currency of all time.

The only problem as of now is mass acceptance. Slowly it is growing. There are more investors in bitcoin than merchants. So it is being considered as an investment more instead of a currency now. However, the scenario is slowly changing for good.
7392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to purchase my first bit coin, need advice on: February 16, 2017, 04:19:06 PM
There are many ways to purchase your first bitcoin. You can use either localbitcoin website and find a seller in your area with good reputation or you can use the service of coinbase. In both cases, contact the seller to know their rules and regulation before starting the trade and you should not face any issue.

However, strictly don't use paypal to buy bitcoin because they might block your account for trading crypto currency as it is against their policy. I recommend Coinbase as it is a very old company and trusted one. For localbitcoin, always check the seller reputation and you are good to go.
7393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 16, 2017, 03:54:49 PM
Transacting through bitcoin for whatsoever reason is a good idea and but paying bribe is not. It will only encourage the scamstars to continue with their misdeeds as bitcoin transactions will not effect that person directly and he will be able to hide the trail of the payment as per his wish.

However, don't try to use bitcoin for illegal transactions. Because these kind of illegal transactions will block the progress of bitcoin to become an international currency. Governments will not trust this currency as a legal one due to money laundering claims and public trust will start to reduce. Use it for investment or shopping instead of paying bribe.

7398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: February 13, 2017, 02:17:28 PM
certainly it is, holding bitcoin is one of the best investment decision you can take but it has to be for long time. If you are trying to make quick profit, try trading instead which may fetch you some quick and good amount of profit. However, if you can just hold your bitcoins for another 3-5 years nnd also keep accumulating in the meantime, It can make your rich for sure.

I had accumulated a decent amount of bitcoin when the price was standing at $450. So you can easily understand that how much profit I have made just by holding my bitcoin idle. So the answer is Yes, you can make a good amount of money by just holding bitcoin for long term.
7399  Economy / Economics / Re: Physical or Paper Gold? Why? on: February 13, 2017, 01:50:48 PM
Given the choice, I would prefer paper gold over the physical gold because of some features of paper gold. If I take gold as an investment, then it is always better to buy paper gold because it can be traded in the market very easily without any extra expense. on the other hand, if you want to sell physical gold, you have to go to a gold merchant and he will deduct a good amount of fees to him, which will not just only eat in to your profit but you will end up paying out of your pocket.

Paper gold is free from such charges and can be traded easily. Even you can hold it in a demat account, so you don't actually have to carry a paper and it can be sold by just a click of mouse. That makes paper gold much more attractive than physical gold as an investment.
7400  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: February 13, 2017, 01:46:23 PM
Good technical writing, but there are some more aspects of using bitcoin apart from the points you have mentioned here. Also bitcoin transaction fees are not low nowadays. For even a small transaction, you will have to shell out a good amount.

However, bitcoin is attractive to me because bitcoin is the best investment destination I have seen in last two years, which is fetching me a much higher return than any other conventional investments. I think that is the major attraction point for most of the people here. For me also it is the same. If bitcoin price goes down to the bottom, I won't mind switching to other coins.
